The absolute best AUTHENTIC Korean dining experience, in an Anchorage restaurant. Get yourself situated and enjoy a meal that will satisfy you and more than likely have you taking home leftovers. For those who are unfamiliar with the cuisine, I would recommend acquainting yourself with the yukgaejang. It will warm you up on a cold day, or satisfy your hunger otherwise.

Went in for lunch and liked the food so much I ordered delivery through doordash a few days later. It's a bit overpriced but the banchan is really what makes this place stand out for me. Got a whole to-go plate full of proper banchan even with the delivery order. Makes my little Korean-American heart go 😍! The only downside is the dine-in service - we didn't get checked on once after our food came out until they dropped off the bill. Too bad because we wanted to order more. 🤷

I love Korean food, it's my favorite of all foods and is known to be one of the healthiest foods because of all the delicious side dishes. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Anchorage and is my favorite Korean restaurant. The flavors are spectacular and there's so much variety to choose from. Some of my favorites are The Black Cod dish the Spicy Pork Bulgogi and the Seafood Pancake. My list goes on! Kids love the seafood pancake and it's always a good starter to begin you Korean food experience as it's not spicy. Personally I love spicy. On another note, Korean personalities aren't always seen as friendly so don't think of the service in this manner. See if you can get the waitresses to smile from yours. Enjoy!

Ordered delivery through Doordash and it came nicely packed and arrived warm (See photos). There was a good variety of free korean side dishes that came with the mains. Beef Bulgogi was tasty but slightly overcooked. The soft tofu soup was nice too but didn't have the "body" of typical korean tofu soup. Overall was above average in taste.

The backroom tables were small in comparison when you take out 7 family members to dinner; For example, they provide you lots of side dishes which takes up lots of space of table, with 7 family member squished together. Then when your main course comes, there's even lesser room to move the plates around. The wait time is around 10-15min just for your sides, then another 20-30 mins for your orders. But I don't mind, it mustve been busy for the Chefs in the kitchen.

Been here total of (3) times.. Not going to lie, there is only (1) waiter doing all the work all by herself, so expect a long wait; mad respect for caring all the weight for the team tho! The food is awesome! Definitely, if your not busy and want to enjoy some hummy Korean food? This is th place to go!

Service left a lot to be desired and prices widened that gap. Greeting you at your table and not rolling eyes and sighing when you ask for some water would be a good start. Food was tasty and filling, but for $20/person I'd like some leftovers maybe.

Their Spicy BBQ Pork is fantastic, full of flavor and the perfect kind of heat. Every bite reminds me why this is one of my favorites and especially during COVID when quick pick up is the new Friday Night.

The food is consistently good. We always order from the Korean BBQ menu. Everything is prepared perfectly. The potstickers #7 from the appetizer menu are the best! Bulgogi and short ribs are always favorites. Love the side dishes that come with the meal.

Met some friends at VIP for dinner...great food, which arrived sizzling and fresh...loved all the little little dishes of kimchi and pickled vegetables. Theirs is the TASTIEST kimchi that I have ever eaten. All in all, we had a most enjoyable evening.

I really enjoy their beef bone soup. I have been coming here for years. This is a small family run place. I believe the people who complain about the service are never generous with their tips. I feel both service and quality of food are beyond reproach at VIP.

I give it 3 stars because the food is great. You get a free assortment different varieties of kimchi before your meal. The waitress does take some time to get to you unfortunately. The food is pretty good and so is the price.

My husband and I come here all the time. They know us there and pretty much order the same thing every time. My family and I have literally been going here my whole life, so I haven't really experienced the bad customer service because they have been great to us. Food is excellent as always.

This is the only place i goto for korean food. A Korean coworker introduced me to Korean food and been in love with it ever since. It is a healthier food choice than other places that serve food that requires deep frying. Give the bulgogi a try.

I love to order their Kalbi Jjim (braised beef short ribs) an an order of Stir fried kimchi with pork bellie and tofu. Add some sake or soju if you have a designated driver! Mmmmm, I love that place!
