Gaurav HegdeOnly open restaurant late at night in the anchorage airport to feed us starving humans.
The food was decent but super overpriced specially the halibut . A tiny halibut with a few carrots and some mashed potatoes cost 40 bucks.
The other items had decent portions but pricey .
Our server was nice and kind though .
You can go to this place if you have no other options at the airport
Kristen MGreat experience. My husband got an IPA that he sent back due to sitting in the line and being old. But...the Bud Light and Prosecco were excellent! Calamari was excellent and the crab shrimp roll was good. French fries were excellent. We are happy we stopped here to wait for our flight.
HollaAt the airport in Anchorage awaiting a flight and I chose Norton Sound Seafood for the first time.
My salmon soup and salad were excellent
as well as my waitresses Kristin and Rose.

Service wa good and food showed up quick.

Talmia EbenezerRenee was an absolute pleasure! I arrived as the restaurant was open and she was so friendly, so sweet, but not so chatty that she was interrupting my reading of a book. Stellar service and I’ll be sure to stop by again if I’m ever at this airport again (I’m on a layover from Fairbanks to Seattle)! I had a Caesar salad with salmon and while the Caesar was scrumptious, the salmon was quite dry and overcooked. For me though, good service more than makes up for food being “decent” vs excellent! Cheers to her excellent and friendly service! This is indeed the golden heart state and she sure does represent the spirit of Alaska so so well!
Talmia EbenezerAwesome service, okay food BUT the service and wine was delightful indeed and i would most definitely eat here again should I find myself at Anchorage airport again! I had a Caesar salad with salmon (not on the menu but around $7 for each of those items individually) and the Caesar dressing was amazing! My salmon was definitely over cooked and dry but honestly, drenched in some sriracha and a dash of salt, I was quite pleased!
The only negative aspect was a middle aged bartender with longish white hair talking down to my bartender Renee who was just so lovely and pleasant. I was reading my favorite book and my exchanges with her were just what I’d like at such a place - she was kind but not annoyingly friendly as she was very aware of the fact that I was quite engaged in my reading! I overall enjoyed my meal tremendously and spent close to an hour there, somewhat perking up anytime the man was talking or acting uppity! It sounded like he was fairly new but telling this lady where HE felt the tables should be divided, though it seemed like something that was usually predetermined and set. I felt bad for her, it sounded like he wanted to just take the more populated area away from her… I’m not usually paying attention to that type of thing but he would say stuff so loudly I couldn’t help but hear it and it upset me to hear this new hire speaking so condescendingly to a woman who could clearly hold her own. Ick.
