Man, just found this place. Cute and fun and just a nice place to go to. I definitely will be back. I stpeed out of my box and got the Reindeer Bibimbab. Just full of veggies and meat and so delicious. My friend got the Tempura shrimp and the Calamari tempura. He said it wad all very yummy. Come check out and support this local business.

The sushi was very tasty. I did order through Grubhub and it was delayed multiple times. I couldn't figure out why until Grubhub reached out to me via phone. When the new mandatory mask order went into effect Monday, the original Grubhub driver did not wish to comply with the mandate; the owner/manager would not allow the person in to pick up the food without one. So the food was delayed in getting to me as they had to dispatch another Grubhub driver. However, the food was delicious. There were several sushi rolls, Thai iced tea, and fried rice for my kid; every single thing was tasty and fresh.

Came here for dinner twice now. Can verify - quality sushi, great miso, friendly staff, and great service. It wasn't super busy either time, so service was quick. Definitely recommend stopping in! Oh, and the online ordering option is fantastic. Worked like a charm.

Very good food, a loved the music playing. A peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Great place to unwind and enjoy a nice meal. The dessert also was very tasty. We enjoyed stopping sitting back and taking in the serene ambience. To make the evening even more memorable we decided to forgo using forks and picked up the chopsticks instead. Walking distance from Captain Cook Hotel, and they offer delivery.

Random stop for lunch at this cozy corner sushi place. We had variety of sushi, donburi and ramen. All dishes were fresh and great. Sake was light, smooth and fragrant. The only thing that I disliked was the rolls kept falling apart when dipping or the sushi/rice came loose so I had to use my hands.

We stopped in after just getting into Anchorage from a long travel day. I think anything would have been good, honestly. I did have higher hopes for the food here. I was "ok". I think it had just opened for the afternoon but we had dried soy sauce pasted on our menus and some of the soy sauce was still wet. We ordered the salmon chowder, miso soup, shrimp tempura, and a little salad. Again, it was just ok.

The food: It's great. I can make sushi at home but I still sometimes come here. Sushi is really hit-or-miss and this is a place that I can trust. The service: Fast and polite. I was seated immediately and brought menus and they brought drinks as fast as I got there and my order was quick as well. Why it's not 5 stars: I get that times are hard and I know you have to mark up drinks but the mark up is really insane at this store compared others so that's one downside I would be aware of.

We got it delivered and it Arrived well. My Spouse enjoyed the sushi. I order miso and fried rice. there was a strand of hair in the miso, which causes no harm but looks gross and the fried rice was bland…. Had to give an honest review

First, the food my wife and I order were tasty: Tiger roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and xxxxx Roll. Now I did read many other reviews of this place so I will try to hit on those concerns. Wait Time: we got to the restaurant at 6pm on a Monday. Yes they are open on Mondays even if Google says they are not. We were the only costumers in the building so waiting for a table, service, and food was not an issue. Look of the place: outside does look rustic and the interior of the dining area is small but remember it’s a small business. I will say though, we sat at a tall table but the chairs seemed a bit low for the table. Cost: now I do agree agree with most reviews about the cost is higher then what my wife and I are use to in St. Louis. Not sure it if has something to due with certain food cost here in Alaska. Hope this helps.

Really good sushi. The bear bait roll was the best roll I've ever had. Yukon roll was incredible as well. The lunch waitress was great & very friendly, had great conversation as she was knowledgeable about Alaska and the Anchorage area. I'll definitely be visiting again!

Hands down the best sushi we’ve ever had. The Denali roll was incredible!!!! We also had the arctic roll, Kodiak roll, edamame, & miso soup...if we are ever in Anchorage again this will be a must for us! Due to COVID, dine in was not avail but it didn’t matter...takeout was a breeze:)

Very slow service and no refills because they typically do not check back after you get your food. But, the food is great. American sushi at its best. And the owners and staff are so nice!

The fish is so fresh here it's like it was just cought straight out of the ocean and served right there to you within five minutes of leaving it's habitat. I would eat here as much as possible if I were any sushi fan because it is one of the best places in town to so so. Been around to make a name for itself for a little bit and is doing pretty well.

Nice atmosphere, good food, and great customer service. I let them know I was pregnant and can’t have anything raw, and the chef even brought me my meal and confirmed everything had been thoroughly cooked! Very pleased. Will return next year.

I order the donburi bowls and they are really good. The service is usually slow at best. Never had the sushi, so I can't offer an opinion. I do know the place is NEVER EVER busy.

It was pretty slow when I got in there so at least I didn't have to wait in line. The staff altogether was friendly, they seemed to be a family. A little more expensive than I would have wanted to pay for sushi, but very good sushi regardless.

Very good sushi. Small place, we had two of their rolls, an Arctic Sushi roll and a Bethel roll. My husband also had a sashimi plate with salmon, tuna, and halibut. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Website said they were open at 11. At 1130 someone showed up and said they would be open at 12. Came back at 1230 and waited 45 minutes for our food. Sushi was great but service was not there.
