First, we entered through the wrong door of the building but the staff was kind and greeted us and when got to the table which was clean, our waitress Allison greeted us and was awesome - perfect - she quickly took our drink order, then back quick for our food order, then brought waters… she kept checking on us. Her service was stellar. I wasn’t drinking alcohol because driving but my wife’s loved her Captain Bahama Mama. All the items we ordered looked like the menu photos. Great taste. A really nice lunch and fair price point. Oh - and bathrooms are very clean.

Was the best experience I’ve had and my first time here in a while, great atmosphere! Wyatt our server was amazing, he was doing table touches every 5 minutes. Super professional and on top of it, It was super busy and he also had a table done and dash in his section. He dealt with that and everything swimmingly and still made the best of the night! Thank you for making it a great night!

Consistent classic. Idk why Applebee’s gets any hate: I think it’s fantastic, especially this location! My favorite things are the neighborhood nachos and the boneless wings (chicken nuggets lol). Just tried the blackened shrimp caesar and was pleasantly impressed. Great spot to go with fam and friends.

Went here recently, was a good experience. The spicy chicken sandwich was good and even tasted great as left overs. Overall, our groups food was satisfying. Would come back here again.

First off, Quade greeted me the minute I walked in. I thought I only needed a table for 4 or 5, got seated, but then found out I needed 2 more. Nitro was already bringing me waters, and asked how I was and was very friendly. I then asked if I could get a larger table because I had two more guests and he was on it! Said no problem at all! I'll get a couple more waters right away ma'am! He brought me more tableware, waters she helped me set up just a table away. Quade even stopped by and asked if we needed helped, but I only had my bag and sweater, so was okay, but he still made sure things went good. My friends came and we ordered. Nitro had great recommendations when asked about the food and what we could order, and while we were all ordering, the manager, Billy stopped by and asked how we were. He offered his personal recommendations and said he can add anything extra we needed. The food came and was phenomenal! My husband was a little disappointed with the steak size, but he didn't read 8 Oz. Billy came out with another portion and made up for it, and husband was happy! This service was the best we've received even out of the high caliber restaurants we go to often. Because of this service, I'll forgo the expensive restaurants and come here instead! Also, Jason the bartender helped my son with a lower alcohol drink because he's a light weight! Great service! We will be back soon!

I loved it. Bartender Hammer 🔨 is it. Food is fresh. ⌚ ⏱ 🕛 ⏳ ⌚ Watched Tennis for hours with no problem and then spent almost 2 hours in a Zoom meeting and everyone accommodated my needs bar none. Thank you, I'll be sure to come back soon!!!!

It was a great meal. I frequent here sometimes and it is pretty good. I had a great waitress this time, I think her name was Amber. I wasn't very hungry for my usual that makes me full. I love the fiesta lime chicken. That is what I get almost everytime. Amber suggested the brisket tacos and so I took her suggestion and it turned out really good. Amber was a great waitress and that can totally make or break an experience. She satisfied our random requests for some extra side foods and she made good conversation. Good food, good people.

It was a regular experience for the excellent one that I had before, the menu was not very varied and the person who attended to me was not very friendly at all, when ordering I asked for a starter and it didn't take any more until he brought it, making us wait to order the main course, at lunchtime it was not what I expected, looking like half of the ration that had always been served in other places, I hope they improve the service since this restaurant is one of the best personally .

We had Michael as a server, he was outstanding! He could easily work in a 4 or 5 star restaurant! He knows how to check on you without being intrusive, but so you still know that he has checked in to see if you need anything. Also, the food was amazing! I ordered a med/well ribeye. It is common to see either the inside med or more often the outside is slightly charred along the edges. However, this was not, it was perfectly done inside and out, as was my wifes med steak! The mashed potatoes were perfectly creamy as well. Billy, the manager, was great as was all the other staff I observed. They work well as a team. One of the best places to eat in Anchorage!

We came in just before closing time, on a Saturday night and they took great care of us anyway, they even held up the kitchen to make my little girl some more pasta. We appreciated them and thank you Wyatt, our waiter, along with all the rest is the staff.

I've been to Applebee's many times in my life it was nice to see familiar faces or at least half-staff remember you from 6 months ago I think that deserves five stars my order was perfect and the food came quickly and the person that served me was the one that remembered me all in all it was a great experience

This Applebee's has really stepped up its game! Service was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the food was excellent. I truly recommend the Chicken wonton tacos and the oriental chicken salad. Good stuff.

Ordered delivery through their website, but Doordash failed and didn't take responsibility for it even though they admitted their failure. But manager on duty William went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Might be a national chain, but customer service was a hometown touch. 5 stars for Billy.

We had a big party of 12 people and dropped in around 9pm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would certainly recommend going back. I would say it was my best experience at any Applebee's I have ever had. Thank you! The food was good and items came out hot and nobody was forgotten. Great job!

I appreciated the friendliness of staff and the food was exactly as expected, which was great. However, service times were a slow: my food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive, and it was only discovered when a manager stopped by and asked if I hadn't received my food yet. I was offered a small discount but my server did not apologize at all for the delay. I would offer 3.5 stars but due to the food quality and generall staff friendliness, I rounded up to a 4.

Man I travel all the time for work and try to stay away from chains, I can honestly say I was humbled tonight. Bartender Wyatt, the manager (great dude) not sure his name we’re so amazing! Everyone working there was unique and fun! They treated everyone like family especially their own! The relationships I observed amongst the workers was special and was a huge breath of fresh air! Great work guys!

I have been coming to Applebees on Tudor and C St. consistently since 2010. Out of the many managers I have encountered here at Applebee’s I have really liked Billy (William) these past few years I have seen him. I can tell he is a great leader and knows how to run and guide his crew. He is great to his customers and does what he can to make the dining experience A+. I always look forward to coming in to dine and assured I won’t be disappointed. Keep up the great work Billy!

Turbo lived up to his name! You can't tell they are so shorthanded, with a full restaurant and minimal servers and he was hustling , keeping waits to a minimum! I've always enjoyed eating here but Turbo and Kevin are the best of the best!!

I came her hoping to enjoy some good food... I asked for a water with lemon and when it came is had some creamy film spots on the outside of the cup. It looked like they forgot to spray it off before piting it into the dishwasher. I ordered the classic combo appetizer and the quesodia burger. The classic combo was okay with the mozzarella sticks were just warm and not even hot and stringy. It tasted like they had warmed them up in the microwave. But the burger was slopy. Half of it was on the tortilla but then the other half was not. I also asked for no side but they brought fries. The burger itself tasted just like a normal burger but bland. The reason for the low rating was because what happened halfway through my meal. Two of the people seat people were setting up a table for 7 as if they were upset that they had to move some tables. They were slaming the condiments on the tables, kicking that chairs, and shoving the tables around. I have never seen this happen but I'm pretty sure they are not supposed to be doing that.

The food was Better than we Expected.. my wife got a chicken plate with shrimp and the chicken was moist and cutable with a fork.. I got a burger and didn't bother putting any sauce on it all... The service was good as well.

We went to this Applebee’s earlier this week after visiting Zoo lights at the Ak zoo. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere is festive right now with Christmas lights up and family friendly music playing. And the food was great. We will be visiting again!

My first visit to Alaska… being vegetarian, I wanted to find something familiar. Applebees in Anchorage was awesome!! Chips and salsa tasted uniquely different… seasoned waffle fries, beer cheese and Impossible Burger were just incredible. Thanks for the great service Turbo!

This food was surprisingly tasty. The menu is HUGE! I have neved seen house salads so huge in my life. Amazing portions. The cajun chicken and shrimp was perfect. The 8OZ steak was perfectly prepared to my specifications. Again...Amazing.

I expected the typical bland chain restaurant experience, but honestly this felt well above average. Been to numerous applebees around the country and this is at the top of this list. Food was great. Only slight complaint is that our waiter spent a lot more time with the booth next to us (seemed like he knew them). My wife was more bothered about this than I. I prefer to eat my meal in peace anyways.

There was only had 2 waiters working on the Tuesday we were there. We waited a really long time for lunch. My fiance's alfredo was very good. My Whisky burger was cooked barely pink, just like I wanted, but alas, it just didn't hit the spot. I was disappointed in the overall flavor. The blue shark cocktail, however, was sublime!

We first read all the reviews and got a little worried but gave it a shot. We were sat very fast, nice staff. The food arrived in a great time. The food was amazing I have the 6oz steak medium rare and it was perfect. My husband had wings. We have no complaint at all

I'm staying in the Hampton Inn next to this location. I've eaten there a few times in the 3 weeks I've been here. The food has been consistently good. The bartender (I wish I knew his name.) is excellent. A friend and I ate there last week. My friend has very serious food allergies, she gave her order with specific needs and he went above and beyond to make good food choices and really looked out for her.

It was okay, the ribs were a little dry and my appetizer was delivered with the meal not ahead of the time. Not sure if it's how we ordered our not, the wife ordered an appetizer for her meal, so might have caused done confusion. Service was okay, staff was not wearing mask properly so I would say standards are a little low and not enforced.

All other restaurants in Anchorage were either closing or closed by 9:00 p.m. This Applebee's was open (that in itself deserves a huge thank you). The wait staff jumped right in to put tables together to accommodate our party of 5 adults and 2 children. The food was hot and fresh and our waiter was awesome.

Pretty typical Applebee's. Ordered the chicken quesadillas, wings with classic buffalo sauce, and the nachos. Everything tasted pretty good, though the nacho toppings could have been more easily distributed. The higlight was definitely the server. While the grands went to a Halloween Party , we took our son and his wife out to dinner! Had a leftover gift card so just ordered what we wanted to. All the food came but not as ordered... They were very good and prompt about fixing it all. The meals were satisfying and we enjoyed good food and good company . You can count on Applebee's.

Went on a date night. Got immediately seated next to a large family with 5+ young children ranging in ages from probably 1 to 8. Which is no problem but i got a babysitter so i didn't have to be three feet from a grumpy child at 10 pm. Husband talked to the host who moved us into the bar area great no kids in sight. However he seated us about a foot away from a nice edlerly man having a quiet dinner again no big deal just makes it uncomfortable to talk about anything vaguely "romantic". They weren't full at all only a handful of tables enough space to give people a buffer between them. Bartender was so nice food was good i wish i remembered her name she did very good and knowing when to stay away and when to bring things. Overall good experience.

Our party of 8 seemed overwhelming to our waiter. He seemed frustrated by our request to keep everything on one check and then divide it evenly at the end. Everyone has bad days though. The food and drinks were good except for three of the chips I ate that had almost a solid layer of salt!

This was my first time at this particular Applebee's. My wife's order was great, she said her meal was delicious. My meal, well I didn't eat. The first plate they brought me had a hair in it. The second plate had incorrect sides. The manager was apologetic and comped the meal. Not a horrible experience entirely, but I did leave hungry.

The food looks great on the menu, but I think the burgers and sandwiches are the safest bet. I tried the BBQ Brisket Tacos and it was on par with cheap, salty, dive bar food. The Boneless Wings were very tasty, so I definitely suggest ordering them for a spicy taste. The waitress was great and honestly I think she deserves a raise for handling so many tables at once. I think I'll stick with the chicken.

Nice and welcoming environment. Waiters and waitresses kept checking in with us to make sure things were satisfactory. Clean interior. I ordered honey BBQ boneless wings as an appetizer and they were hot and tasty. Then, I ordered their Grilled Chicken Caesar salad and it was ok. I was happy with the portions, however, I would have liked it better if the Croutons were fresh and the chicken seasoned a bit more. I also, ordered their brownie dessert to-go which was delicious. It also came with a scoop of soft-serve vanilla icecream. Overall 4 out of 5. (:

Better than the new Bear Claw, which recently replaced Friday's. Service was terrific, and the bartender made a decent Old Fashioned. Ribs were okay; maybe a tad over cooked but flavorful.

I had an awesome time when I came in with my family over the weekend. I had an amazing waitress and I was very impressed with her menu knowledge. I believe her name was Tish. She was very attentive but not overly crowding. She did excellent at antisipating our needs while keeping us feeling like we were her main focus of the evening.. I know how serving can be stressful and demanding , but she seemed super eager to keep us satisfied and to bring us back for a other visit. I love Applebee's food and think they are making huge improvements on the quality of staff they are hiring these days compared to the inadequate staff they have had in the e recent past. So cuddos to the waitstaff and management. Things are looking much more promising for our returns in the near future. I wasn't so convinced about a month ago, but am glad to see they gave us another chance to make up for the previous awful experiences we have had.! I'm glad I didn't throw in the towel on the last visit!

Their endless ribs ad brought me here, but at $17.99 and thought that I would be filled after one plate, I opted to share a steak with my spouse. It turned out to be sufficient and filled us both up, along with a soup, and a salad. Their steak was good.

The attention that was received by our waitress was 5+, but the streak order was wrong and never received by the time everyone in our party was finished with their meals. A bit of everything, so it's a good place to take a group of people that like different things - everyone can get something they like. Food is good enough, but it seems their portions have shrunk over the years (good and bad), their place is fairly clean. The biggest drawback is that if you don't sit in a booth, the seating is very tight, on top of your neighbors.

I haven't been to Applebee's in years because I really can't afford to eat out much, but the food was pretty good, and they have half off full size appetizers at night, or deals for smaller sizes, which is what my party had. The service here is good. I would go back.

A nice place for dinner when I want to get out. I don't like how sweet everything on the menu tastes. We had some shredded beef tacos- they had a sweet bbq taste and an Asian crispy chicken salad. The iceburg lettuce was wilted and not very plentiful, but they tried to make up for it with lots of crunchy almonds and fried chowmein noodles the salad dressing was a bit too sweet as well, not tangy enough to balance it out.

this Applebee's is not too bad, and not too good either. there was a nice man who politely opened the door for us on the way in, but he had an unlit cigarette in his mouth, which made me a little bit concerned about whether or not that would violate a restaurant's no smoking policy, and the waiters called me the wrong name when I wanted to order food. I am usually fine with that, as that usually happens to me all the time. the food portion was bigger than I had expected, which I actually like it when the food portion is way bigger than I expect. overall this is a fine Applebee's, and If you are ever in anchorage, you should try this out.

Can't beat the price on appetizers after 9 pm. The Wonton Tacos and boneless wings with either the Sweet and Spicy Sauce or classic buffalo sauce and ranch is the only way to go. Only downside is they decreased the number of items on the 1/2 price apps after nine pm making it a little less appealing.

I'm partial to this Applebees because I used to work as a wiater here when they opened in 2001. It's a great chain restaurant loved by tourists as a bastion of normalcy in an otherwise upside down city in the far northwest. This bee's has a special menu featuring unusual dishes you won't see at other applebees. They have a great wait staff and the owner is an native to Alaska so he really cares about it's success. The parking lot is huge and there are some decent hotels within walking distance although this restaurant is two miles from downtown. The bartenders are a surly bunch so be fore warned.
