My first time being here and definitely won't be my last. The food is absolutely amazing. So many flavors, my mouth could not get enough of. I ordered the family Chicken, Beef and Lamb Shawarma. It comes with rice, salad, pita bread and hummus. The price isn't bad for the amount of food you get. Would definitely recommend this place.

Best Mediterranean restaurant in Albuquerque, NM. Tried first time and their food was delicious. Especially the Chicken shawarma with Pita bread. The pita bread for shawarma is round, not like the regular shape. Most recently we tried their Shawarma combo. It served with rice, salad and hummus. All prices are reasonable for Halal food. Their lamb shank was average. For dessert item, we tried their Baklava and that was average. But their air condition was not working that day and it was too hot inside the restaurant (Reason for less star). Free parking available. Overall, we love this restaurant and recommended for Halal food lovers.

Outstanding food! Excellent customer service! Broad menu selection! I discovered this culinary jewel during an overnight stop in Albuquerque. I wish I traveled here more often. Their food is fantastic! I ordered the Greek Salad with gyro meat- best I have had in years. They also have a variety of unique foreign cola’s. Delicious! Stop by Yasmine’s Cafe where you are fed like a king and treated like a valued customer!

Based upon a recommendation from a friend, it was my first time eating here, and it is one of the best restaurants in Albuquerque that I’ve tasted thus far! My friend and I ordered the lamb shwarma sandwich and plate, respectively. And everything, including the lamb is well seasoned to a T. It is to die for, truly! And they have an amazing selection of traditional pastries. (Pictured is the karafeh, which is the perfect blend of sweet and cheesy, with a nice crunch.) If any of you are in town, do not skip on this hidden gem. You will not regret it.❤️

Hidden Gem in Abq Nob Hill. Driving by today looking for something different than our usual restaurant haunts and happened upon this incredible place. Husband had the beef and lamb gyro, I had the chicken shwarma plate with rice and salad and we shared a falafel appetizer. An absolute explosion of flavor with every dish! The meal ended with a delicious piece of baklava and much like another person ordering, I may be ordering a dozen baklava to go next time. So thankful to have this little slice of heaven nearby. Update 1/29/2022: A little busy today, but this food is so worth any wait! Such incredible flavor! 5 stars is not high enough of a rating.

We are on the way to Grand Canyon. We stop over New Mexico. We were looking for some halal food and then went a restaurant. I forgot the name of the restaurant, but owner said that you can go to the Yasmin cafe as you have a five family members so they have enough arrangement to sit over there. Then I go there and then order some Gyro with rice and the fries and chicken meal. I’ve prayed over there in their kitchen. Their food is Halal so the quantities good but problem is that we didn’t find tastes of food. probably we are traveling and it might be the case of not getting tastes. so I love to see that there is some Halal options in this place.

The food had a great presentation and even better flavor. Service was top notch. The waiter/cashier was very polite and treated everyone like a VIP. The dining spaces were clean and they maintain precautions to manage Covid-19. Overall, this is one of the best dining experience experiences we’ve had in New Mexico! I gladly recommend Yasmine's Café. My father and I were visiting from Texas and needed it a nice quick place to eat some great food at. Yasmine's fit the bill perfectly. We started with appetizers of dolma (stuffed grape leaves) and kibbeh (think of a hush puppy stuffed with spiced meat). They were delicious! Then the main course came. I had the mashawi combo which came with three kabobs (beef, lamb, and chicken, rice, hummus, pita bread, & salad). My dad had the lamb rack, which also came with the same sides as my plate. My dad was blown away by the quality of the lamb and said it was amazing. Unfortunately we ate so well with both our plates we didn't have any room for dessert. Maybe next time. Yasmine's is definitely 5 stars from us.

Best restaurant in the city! I went on a whim here while I was visiting with some family. Honestly was the best food I’ve had in America. Extremely authentic and so so flavorful! We went here four times in one week because of how good it was. My favorite was the hummus and the gyros. My family and I all tried each others food and I had nothing bad to say about any of the dishes. Honestly wanted to move to Albuquerque just for this restaurant!

This place is a small business on central the area is currently in a rehabilitation mood , the food here was great, really no service as you order in front and then it's brought out to the table. But women working was very nice , they make there own pita which were very good. We almost asked for an order to go . instead we ordered two of their desserts which were also very good. Prices were great and portions we substantial. I'd would eat here again. And everyone should look this place up.

I absolutely love this place. The flavor has to be one of the most authentic we’ve had In a long time. The portion size exceeds expectations. Everything was truly delicious and it makes me happy to see people who truly care about the quality of their dishes. That’s rare this day and age. There’s plenty to choose from with decent prices, you are getting exactly what you pay for. It’s well worth the try. Baklava is my favorite!

Best halal restaurant in Albuquerque!! If you’re looking for halal food this is your place. Food is so yummy & reasonably priced. Called in a order for the lamb kabob. It was absolutely delicious. The owner personally greeted every customer that walked in. Even the lads in the back cooking were very friendly. Would definitely recommend trying even if you've never tried Muslim food before.

Really good chicken shawarma and kabob. Not a huge fan of the haressa though, a bit dry. You get a lot of the sides with the order which is nice, good value for the money. Rice and salad taste very good.

I wasn't a fan of Mediterranean food until I came here. My go to is always the chicken shawarma over rice and instead of the regular salad i get the Jerusalem salad. It has such a deliciously tangy and unique flavor i can't find anywhere else. Miriam is such a nice and helpful person. Great employee to have, difficult to find good customer service in restaurants these days.

We were here a couple of weeks ago and we ordered take out: Chicken Kabob meat plates with Hummus/Pita appetizer (+ Tzaziki sauce). Everything was excellent (even by the time we drove home to Rio Rancho)! Yasmine's is sooo good it is worth driving a long way to get their food here + the people who work here and come to get food here are sooo nice and fun to talk with!

Halal cheaper restaurant in town, one of the best near UNM campus. Their chicken shawarma and Santa Fe Chicken are the best items for me. Others items are available with rice or as sandwiches. Usually quick service. Good service! Baklava is also good.

Only disappointing thing was the Kibbeh. I've never not liked one before. Their shwarma wrap is ridiculously good. Lamb was the best one. Garlic sauce is insanely good too.

Every time i come here the lamb shawarma blows my freaking mind. After a long day i crave this sandwich. You don't understand. I don't review things often, but when it's this good i have to say something! Fresh salads every time. I love the Jerusalem salad. 11/10 middle eastern eatery. Found this establishment using Google search. I have catered meals for different work events in the past from other Mediterranean restaurants. Was kind of getting burnt out and wanted something new. This establishment has very reasonably priced meals and portions are more than adequate. I came in a day early to request about 11 meals. It was prepared and ready on time and even got a text message from a staff member letting me know that my meals were being prepared. Great service, great food. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

WHOA. If you’re looking for quick, inexpensive, and amazingly good Mediterranean in Albuquerque then your search stops here. Falafel, dolmas, chicken, and Greek salad were all amazing. Hummus was some of the best we’ve had. Highly recommended.

On my way from Silver City, New Mexico, to Ojo Caliente Resort and decided to stay over in Albuquerque for a sleepover on the way. Never dreamed I would have such a great time in a night. Like fine cocktails so I went to Bar Uno, smallest bar in Albuquerque. Bartender Steve the greatest. Made fine craft cocktails in this groovy little hangout and then he put us on to sister bar Founder's Speakeasy, another groovy little bar located in downtown Albuquerque below a liquor store. You needed a password to get in and again, fabulous craft cocktails (Aviations) and a very cool and friendly bartender. Between going to the two inspots we went to the middle eastern restaurant Yasmines. The was food was exceptional, the hummus was the best I have ever eaten in my life. Service very good, friendly staff, clean and so popular there was a continuous procession of people ordering food to take home while we were there. Perky decor and man who worked there retrieved my cell phone from a table where I had laid it while I was ordering thinking it had been forgotten and had it behind the counter for me.

Just off Central and convenient to Heart Hospital and the University area, Yasmine's was a perfect lunch stop. My vegetarian wife ordered Dolmades (cold stuffed grape leaves) and a delightful version of Spanikopita with just the right amounts of spinach and a flavorful feta. My Lamb Schwarma platter was a flavorful mound of nicely seasoned rice overlaid with quite a lot of mildly-seasoned sliced lamb and a large side of dressed romaine, tomatoes, cukes, salty black olives and red onion slices, accompanied by a nice hot pita bread. We sipped a nice hot mint tea throughout.

This restaurant is by far one of my favorites in the Duke city. I learned that the owners are Palestinians, which is even better! We went there as a group of 10 with a few toddlers. With one server, the dinner was smoothly entertained. The toddler spilled water a few times and he came to clean it up without complaining or unpleasant reactions. The food tasted A-Maz-ing!!! I ordered the meat combo 2 and a plate of falafels. The falafels were tasty and crunchy. With the dipping sauce, they were well seasoned as well. The combo plate was tasty too. The salad was fresh and the hummus was very creamy with the warm pita that came with plate. I ended up taking rice and the meat home as leftovers. I will definitely come back again.

Creme Caramel was like arabic flan, was pretty good. This Arabic Grape soda was veryy unique tasting. It tasted like grape beer. Excellent service, lady taking orders was very nice. Prices slightly on the pricier side. I recommend checking out the other Middle Eastern food places in town, too.

The food here was fantastic! I had a gyro plate which was a very wonderful serving, along with an appetizer of Bulma and falafel. All dishes were wonderfully made and tasted delicious! Yasmine’s is one of few go to restaurants of mine here in Albuquerque. The food is good. The people are nice. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. The Mediterranean food is delicious and prepared with care using quality ingredients. They bake there own Pita bread and Baklava. A decent deal for your money but it's dry and balnddry. The lamb was extremely overdone and the rice had a lot of color but little flavor. The "salad" they offer is not evwn worth mentioning. The hummus however was outstanding! and the pita bread was amazing. Don't think I will ever order a main entree from them again but I would go back just for the hummus and bread.

Great place and food. Just need a little bit longer than other places but it's worth it because the food is so fresh. What do you expect though when they are cooking kabobs, they can take a while. Just need to make sure there is plasticware in the to-go boxes and it's hangover heaven (not for me but for the other people in there on a Saturday afternoon).

I've frequented this establishment since first moving to ABQ back in 2016, and they've consistently had some of the best gyros I've ever had. The service is EXCELLENT (incredibly friendly staff), the value is incredible (two gyros w/ fries and drink are ~$17), and the food will have you coming back for more. Excellent hummus, too!

I've never been disappointed by any of the food here. Consistently good food, whatever one orders. I usually go with a chicken or lamb shawarma, or gyro sandwich. Perfect rice, I'd even say the best rice of it kind in town. My 7 yr. old ordered the chicken tenders kids meal & their fries are great! If you get a chance, order the mint tea. Since Petra isn't around anymore, Yasmin's tea fills that craving. The greek & Jerusalem salads are wonderful sides. Yasmin's gets a solid 4 stars from me for their food!

They have been consistent with every item on the menu (for years,) so whatever I order tastes exactly like what I had hoped for. The meat combo #2 is a regular item for us. The appetizer platter is a killer deal. The Santa Fe Chicken is really good too. They have a really yummy garlicy-yogurty creamy sauce that is great on everything. All entrees are large enough to share, especially if you get a side salad or appetizer. The desserts are the only items I’ve never been impressed with.

We found this place many years ago. We went looking for Shawarma. Yes; because of the Avengers. Chicken and Lamb is very good. The Beef was OK, a little dry. The Gyros,on the other hand, taste great. Turkish Coffee was quite good, baklava was pretty good & large for the cost 👌. The chicken Shawarma Sandwich was alright, would have been better, but it was layered terribly. There was a lot of chicken which was tasty, but the sauce was just in 1/3 of the sandwich, then the opposite third was all lettuce, half a tomato slice, and a little bit of onion, no chicken. If the veggies & sauce had been throughout the whole thing, it would have been quite delicious.

Love, LOVE, LOVE this family owned restaurant! The hummus is amazing and so is the pita bread. You can tell from the papa he makes sure all the food is freshly made in house from family recipes. Even the meat is prepared in a ritualistic way that is sacred to their traditions. ALWAYS our place to stop at for good food. We live ordering the special #2 since it has 3 meats and makes excellent leftovers even if you're traveling long distances. Usually we order and eat in house and take a doggie bag home to Flagstaff, AZ which is a 5 hour drive home. I can easily reheat my food when I get home or just save it in the fridge for lunch the next day.

I'm not normally a huge fan of Mediterranean, but the food here was fantastic, and I will definitely be back! The hummas was great, and the Arabic mint tea is something I'm totally ordering again. I also recommend the lamb shawarma with garlic sauce and baklava! Be prepared to wait a bit for the food, but it's worth it, and the portions for the entrees are large, definitely enough to take home.

I found Yasmine's cafe on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. You know when you are craving Mediterranean food, you don't want anything but the best. All that being said I grabbed a gyro from Yasmine's and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The gyro was BIG and loaded with meat, I couldn't ask for anything more. The staff was polite and my order was fresh and cooked to order. Overall, I wanted to give Yasmine's a 4.5 and the only reason I wouldn't give them a solid FIVE is the meat was a little saltier than I like. If I am in Albuquerque in the future, I would definitely give it a try. They definitely get my recommendation!

My wife and I were visiting from Texas and made it into town later in the evening. We called Yasmine's Cafe around 20-25 min before closing time inquiring if we can still swing by, fully expecting a "sorry, we're closing" response. Instead, the staff courteously welcomed us over and displayed the highest level of service and hospitality. We ordered two entrées (beef and chicken) and enjoyed every bite. The rice, meat, salad, and bread were all delicious. Portions were generous as well! We are so thankful to the staff for accommodating us, as they had to stay later to clean and close up shop, but despite that, warmly reassured us over and over to take our time.

Their service here is generally very good, although sometimes it can get a little slow if they're bogged down, and their prices are a lot lower than so many other Mediterranean places in the city. Our Go-To Restaurant in Town We love Yasmine’s, and eat here regularly. Good quick food in gyro/shawarma sandwiches, or larger meals if you are looking for something filling. Quick, friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices keep us coming back. The normal offerings are amazing, but if you are looking to change it up I recommend asking for something “spicy.” They add a blend of puréed red peppers to the meat while cooking it, and it definitely adds a bit of bite. Goes well with the cool tzatziki sauce, and our favorite meal is to get their gyro platter spicy. In case you’re wondering, the food is purchased from certified halal butcher, and the owner has a sign posted saying so.

The food was pretty good, and I may consider adding a star based on further experience with this restaurant (if that ever takes place). Their tabouleh is cucumber and bulghur-heavy, when I prefer it to be parsley-heavy. I would never risk ordering anything too involved here while on my lunch-break, since the wait times can be quite long. I also found the atmosphere pretty alienating, mostly due to the conversation between what I guess was an employee and customer. There is a very disorganized vibe to the place, but lately I have been craving order more than usual (so maybe it just bothered me more because of that). Not into hearing the name of someone in the kitchen shouted over and over again, or that sort of thing. Put on some music, at least. It's not as though there is any lack of great Arabic music that could be playing in the background.

Yasmine's cafe is a small nice cafe with a large menu. We had the lamb shwarma dinner, which came with a salad and pita bread. It was very good. We followed it up with a piece of baklava. I recommend Yasmine's for lunch or a casual dinner.

I have tasted several times now -- their dolmas and appetizer-plate combo which contains falafel, hummus, baba gonush, and kiki(?) ( a great tasty meat-filled "empanada-type" -equivalent). These appetizers ($10.95 per plate) by themselves, alone are filling enough for a meal. But I only come here when I'm hungry (and, of course, in the mood for some truly great, tastily-prepared Middle-Eastern classic food. So,... I also ordered the lentil soup, Arabic Tea with mint and the Lamb Schwarma Plate or Sandwich. This food prepared so delectabelly-delicious always hits the spot for me because I don't come here if I am in the mood for Church's Chicken or Tacos, or Popeyes Chicken, or Hamburgers! This place is located a couple-three blocks west of University on Central so they provide modestly priced Mediterranean/ Middle-Eastern/ Arabic Food for the UNM student crowd and environs living in the area -- a real treat to the taste buds distinct from the SAD American food you can find almost everywhere else. Sometimes the dolmas ALONE are a great little tasty mouth-flavoring grape-leaves snack to get me by for a few hours in my day! A lot of good clean energy!!
