I think my husband and I will end up putting all your kids threw college. We've been there at least 2 times a week the past 3 weeks. Your food is amazing. THE CHICHARRON BREAKFAST BURRITO!!!! oh my goodness. Never thought I'd have chicharron in a breakfast burrito and it was incredible! The crunchiness was such a great addition to the otherwise soft texture of the breakfast burrito. Loved the heat that the green chile added as well. Definitely recommend stopping by!!

I've never had their Chicharrón Burrito because I'm not a big fan of Chicharrónes (I've never liked Chicharrónes) but I will say there Sausage breakfast burritos are the best. I get that smothered all the time. Don't matter if it's green or red, they are the best

New Mexico Beef Jerky Co. is my wifes and my favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. The staff is awesome and friendly. They treat you like family and the food is great! The quality of the food and portion size of your meal, is definitely worth the money you work hard for.. dont be discouraged of the long line it moves pretty fast. Most people make phone orders anyway. We got chance to meet Vivian her doughnuts and pastries are on point.. and Ethan the restaurant manager today. We let them know that we really enjoy coming here. Not just for the food but they always make us feel welcome, like family. If you get a chance stop by and say hi to them and get some really great New Mexican food! you won't be disappointed. My favorite thing to get is the New Mexico Philly Christmas style. 🔥

Excellent food and service 😊. I had the signature Chicharron Breakfast Burrito with red. The chicharrons were crisp and fresh, and the heavy thing was well worth the sticker price. I saw several large call-in orders as well. Don't miss this little gem when you're near downtown. And get some beef jerky while you're there. This is quickly becoming mine and Bizzy's favorite restaurant in the city. It's a low-key spot with amazing food, drinks, and of course jerky! Bizzy LOVED the jerky, his new favorite treat, and the staff was so kind! They gave Bizzy a bowl of water to drink and treated us super sweet. EDIT: just tried the Chicharrones, holy cow they are unbelievable. Never thought that would be something I'd order, but I'm probably gonna get it every time now.

I discovered this place just this year and I am very sad I hadn't sooner. They sell beef jerky but it is also called (CHICHARRON BURRITO EXPRESS) The food here is amazing!!! I am hooked on the Chicharron breakfast burrito w/red chile..i add frijoles (beans). RECOMMEND you try this place! They also sell posole and menudo in case you like that. They also have NEVER gotten my order wrong...even when I call it in with multiple other orders. Yes multiple..i introduced my colleagues to it and they love it too 😆 You can also just purchase bags of chicharrones to take home. Lets not forget the jerky..very good and thinly sliced like I love. Many flavors to choose from..ask for a sample they will hook you up. Also have to add the staff here is very nice and friendly, always a good experience. Enjoy! Holy cow the chicharrones burrito is phenomenal. It’s a hearty stopper but very savory. The combination of soft and crunchy texture definitely play with your senses. They were very accommodating of special requests. The steak burrito was also notable as well. Had both green and red chili in it. No complaints. What’s gem!

Good jerky, I get chili lime, it is spicy but not out to destroy you. Posole is pretty good, comes with red or green chili, a lime, and a tortilla, second to none in Albuquerque so far. Also, if you want to clog your heart with goodness, get the chicharron burrito, omg🥹 so good.

Tastes great and like authentic Spanish food. Tastes fresh and homemade. Very expensive for a burrito but it is big and worth it. One word of caution is that the chili is hot so be careful if you can't eat hot chili get it on the side. But I love hot chili so I get it on it. Very good flavor. Best chicharrones to. I would recommend this place for sure. And I've already been back a few times hehe. Looks clean and excellent customer service also makes this place a definite got to. Oh ya bad thing is they close by 3 so get there early.

Some of the most consistent quality New Mexican burritos you can get. A must have for anyone from out of town craving a local breakfast. Personally I recommended the chicharon burrito but I've yet to have anything from here that disappointed me. If you are dining during regular breakfast hours I recommend calling in your order ahead of time if you can.

This place is SO DELICIOUS! $16 for a pound of fresh chicharrones. The best in New Mexico! Green chile is HOT! Refried beans are creamy and yummy! HUGE burritos! When we pulled up we were slightly apprehensive because of location and the outside of the business, but don't judge a book by its cover! All the 5 star reviews were accurate! My fiancé and I knew about the place but hadn't tried it. We're very happy we did! The carne adovada tacos were very delicious. Chicharrón were fried perfectly and easy to eat! The red was hot and tasty! The staff was very kind and welcoming even on the phone! We were able to sit and have lunch and the place was immaculately clean! The restroom was also very clean! We'll add this to our short list of restaurants we love! You'll love it too!

If you are looking for some of the best burritos you've had in your life, look no further. New Mexico beef jerky Co is the place to go. I found this spot because it is close to my work downtown, and now even though we closed physically and are working from home I make it a point to stop in every time I pick up my check. I love the beef and potato burrito. The burritos are huge, so I hope you have a big appetite. Writing this review makes me want to go back for one right now

They have recently moved and I love the new location. They have been super busy the past few times I've gone but still very quick. After the move they didn't have much Jerky but last time the selection was better. Overall good new location and great service. Also you can't beat the prices on the jerky for local made its the best prices by far. $10 for a quarter pound you'll pay that at the store for half that if you're lucky.

After reading positive reviews we decided to try. We were not disappointed! This place is the bomb. I had the chicharon breakfast burrito and my wife had the carne adovada breakfast burrito. They were huge! And one was as good as the other. There is no doubt that we will make this a regular spot now that we moved back to the area.

Delicious! If you don't want fiery hot Mexican food than stay away. They will not issue refunds. If you enjoy mouth burning burritos, or just a spicy snack this is your destination. I was told to try this place out because the had one of the best chicharonne burritos around Albuquerque, and I was not dissapointed. The burrito was delicious, as was the taco I got too. Coming from California, I didn't understand that chicharonnes in New Mexico are practically an entirely different thing than what I'm used to. The name is deceiving, it is a restaurant as well as a jerky store. They were affordable and just right for that authentic New Mexican food fix. I struggle to find restaurants with hot chile. I had the red and green, both and they were tasty and hot (not too hot but a little watering eyes and cleared my head). The carne adovada plate was excellent and my friend had me try the taco burger, which was great.

Wife had red enchiladas (pretty good and very hot chile). I had the chicharrones breakfast burrito with green. It would have been much better if the chicharrones had been cooked to be more crispy. I was eating white fat on most of them and didn't finish though I love good chicharrones. There should be an option to order them cooked more crispy than their standard fare (which apparently has a loyal following according to the reviews).

Chicharon burrito with red Chile. The burrito was big. The chicharones themselves were just ok. Some were very hard and you had to be careful while eating not to get one of the rock hard ones. The beans were flat tasting. Tortilla store bought type. The Chile had too much garlic. Which must have been a lot because I love garlic. The food got me a little queasy a couple of hours later. Not sick just queasy, and it came up my throat a little. Much better burritos for half the price at Southwest grill in bosque farms.

Chicaron Burritos are great. The service is not very friendly but they get so busy they do not need to be very friendly. I would go more often if the service was better.
