Amazing food!! Worth a visit for sure if you are in Albuquerque. Every person in my group of 5 loved our food! The staff are great and very personable! I want to try everything on the menu! I would highly recommend the kale salad.

Delicious place for an early breakfast. Amy was awesome and she made sure we knew how we could have options that fit our dietary restrictions. The French toast (I got gluten free) was SO GOOD. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

I stopped in at this small neighborhood café twice during my recent trip to ABQ, and neither visit disappointed. First stop, was for breakfast one morning, which consisted of a delicious and well-made egg-based croissant sandwich with fresh fixings and an incredibly delicious mixed fruit salad. They even grilled the pineapples! Next stop was for lunch and I opted for another breakfast item: the build-your-own breakfast burrito. My burrito contained eggs, beans, spinach, and lots of cheese and red / green chili sauce. This is l one of the better burritos I’ve had here in ABQ: in the top three.

Came twice so far on a visit to ABQ. So far this is my favorite food. 3 breakfast tacos were So good, then I tried a breakfast burrito (which I guess is the big thing in ABQ). I really had low hopes based on trying that at another high rated spot. But Lush stood up! Burrito was juicy cheesy delicious and their breakfast potatoes taste improperly good, for looking really ordinary. The lush latte was pretty special. A proper latte but then bastardized with a sprinkle of spices that really added something without ruining what a latte should be. I usually don't try non-standard coffees but fortune favored the bold today. The people are cool as can be, they remember me after a week, and we talk about whatever. To be fair, ABQ folks everywhere are way higher ratio of cool/friendly than people back home in upstate NY.

This was a delicious stop for breakfast. The menu had just enough options for variety but not too many to choose. They can accommodate special diets without batting an eye. The staff were really friendly and provided great service.

Cafe Lush I think we love you!!! Ok that's the highest endorsement I have ever given any restaurant. This place has a trendy vibe and some really nice laid back people serving up the most delicious food!!! I wish I could have spent more time savoring my food and overeating but we were late for an appointment. Next time I am in Albuquerque this is going to be my first stop. We met one of the owners and spoke about the photography on the wall from the beaches in Belize. The out door seating gives off an altogether different vibe. Go check them out and let me know what you think.

Sweetest ladies running show this morning. We both got Vanilla Lattes (not pictured) and they were delicious and perfectly hot. My husband ordered a burrito with both green and red chile smothering it. The hash browns that came with it were so flavorful and good! He really enjoyed the burrito and raved about the hash browns. I wanted something light so I ordered the parfait half sized, it was very good. I also ordered sourdough toast and a side of avocado. The waitress was kind enough to ask if I wanted the kitchen to put the avocado on the toast for me. Super kind and OH MY GOSH, best sourdough bread I've ever had. 10/10 the toast is a must try!

Small, cozy, slightly retro venue. We stopped by for lunch on a road trip based on the reviews. As a foodie with food allergies, I can say without hesitation that this little cafe exceeded expectations in quality of food, creativity and service.

Absolutely loved the food! I went in a bit too early and they were sweet enough to serve me lunch because I do have an egg allergy. I orded The Boody not sure if that's the correct spelling. But wow! It was so delicious!! I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys garlic! Seriously the best!!! Thank you for the great experience I will definitely return soon!

Great food, wonderful servers! They have a small but well-balanced menu and my vegan friend enjoyed their breakfast -- I enjoyed my huevos ranchers too. Friendly, highly knowledgeable wait staff in a welcoming dining room. Excellent coffee!

Sometimes you get surprised by restaurants. This is one of those. Excellent food. Breakfast Burrito and French Toast were the best we've had in NM. Gluten Free options on anything. Bacon was delicious. Muffins. And drink included.

This Cafe js truly a wonderful gem. It's cozy and has a lot of great items on the menu, even for us part-time vegans. I had a Tofu scramble with hashbrowns and raisan toast. My husband had a veggie scramble. Both were absolutely delicious. I wish I could eat here daily.

I went to Cafe Lush this morning. If I could. I would give this restaurant a 5 rating at minimal. The service was impeccable and the staff were very friendly. I arrived after breakfast serving time but the staff were gracious enough to fix me their delicious breakfast crossaint. I will definitely be back.

Cool vibe with optional outdoor seating. Vegetable Hash was delicious! All the food was fresh and came out really fast. There was only one server but she was really efficient and friendly! Highly suggest! So much better than any chain restaurant for breakfast!

A Must Try!!! This little hidden gem was quite the find. I wanted to try something new that had outdoor seating and delicious food. Well this definitely hit all the checkmarks. I got a hot caramel macchiato, the omelet and shared a French toast with my hubby and he got the big breakfast. Well let me tell you none of it disappointed!! Service took a little longer, but the food was worth it. The cub vibe is very chill and hipster feel. We will definitely be back again!!

Everything about this place is great. I’m gluten free and had no issues. Staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and super nice. Had the Jeremey pizza on gluten free crust (literally crave it now,) lemonade with the good ice, gf coffee cake, and a chai latte. Couldn’t recommend more.

We were traveling through Albuquerque and decided to stop at Café Lush. We're glad we did! The breakfast was amazing and the staff was AWESOME - almost like they were psychic! I had the breakfast pizza, which was a "crust" of hash browns, onion, green chili, and cheese, eggs on top, chile sauce, and lettuce and tomatoes on the side. The portions are generous. The café is small but very clean. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Awesome ma and pop place that can cook the items gluten free or not, just let them know your dietry constraints. My friend and I had both and the food was excellent. There is not a lot of GF options in Albuquerque but this one was worth it.

We were in town for the Balloon Fiesta and decided to stop here for a small brunch. We didn't order much but the service was excellent. Quick refills on coffee and drinks. Despite the clouds and drizzling rain, the place was hopping with people! And more arriving as we sat. Service was kind and attentive. It's a no frills place with good people and good food. I'll come back if I'm in ABQ again!

Ladies were very accommodating, rearranging a couple of tables for our group of 6 to enjoy the beautiful day. Food was fantastic! Portion size was pretty good for the price and nobody complaining about walking away hungry. Might have to search for parking but wasn't a huge issue. A little off the beaten path but we'll worth the trip.

This place was AMAZING. We have a lot of dietary restrictions and cafe lush has plenty of gluten free options. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the breakfast tacos. While the food was amazing what made the experience even better was our server, Becca. She was an absolute sweetheart and made sure we were well taken care of. Service was above and beyond.

Found Cafe Lush by accident, staying at the Albuquerque Hyatt for a week long convention, from Columbus Ohio. We ate there every day afterwards. Great quality real food with vegetarian options, great coffee and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Absolutely "deLUSHious"! We stumbled upon this quaint little spot and couldn't have been more thrilled. The breakfast croissaint was a tasty flakey croissant with fresh cheese, eggs, ham, and tomato+ a mouth watering sandwich of yumminess. The breakfast treat is exactly that. The oddly delicious combination of egg, raisin bread, peanut butter, and bacon we're a happy, tasty surprise. The fruit was fresh and the coffee strong, robust, and piping hot. I hope I return soon!!

Wow. This place is so delicious. Everything was hot from the moment it left the frying pan. Literally my food stayed hot till I was done with my last bite. The Chile was very hot and very delicious. The French toast man. I don’t know what they did, but man did they get it right. The breakfast pizza is my ideal breakfast and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The omelette was huge and packed with fresh veggies.

This is a must eat at in Albuquerque! Unique, fresh, light, and hip. Excellent service, cheap for healthy food restaurant. They give you great portions and really good quality food. This was our first stop on our vacation and we couldn’t stop talking about it as we left. We went to Santa Fe, Taos and Albuquerque and their Christmas chili sauce was the best we had on the whole trip! Wish we had time to go back! This is a must if you are in town!

Had lunch with friends here. Sat outside and truly enjoyed the whole experience. Our server Teresa was fantastic. The manager (forgetting her name) was warm and welcoming when I arrived. Food was amazing! Definitely will be going back to this little gem!

I had The Daniel sandwich, she had the breakfast tacos. Delicious food and wonderful setting, ample street parking, awesome service. Not shabby, not fancy. Mom & Pop like. Food was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the kale salad, which was tasty. While I'm not gluten free, some of my friends are and that can make finding a good restaurant that we can all enjoy a bit difficult. All of Cafe Lush's lunch items are available GF, which is rare and much appreciated! The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review is because the table we sat at was directly by the kitchen, and some of the smoke from the kitchen was a bit overwhelming. If I was sitting outside or at a different table, I would have given this 5 stars.

This place was really lovely. I was surprised by the flavor of the bacon (it's sweet!) and the waitress comped it from my meal (after offering me lots of alternatives!) because she noticed I pushed it to the side. Would definitely be back. The homemade tortillas were amazzzzing.

Small, very close proximity. Service was excellent. Menu is limited. Over cooked eggs. Hash browns white and 1/2 cooked. Beans and Chilli under the eggs was excellent. Up and down ride at this place.

I've visited Cafe Lush twice now and both times it didn't disappoint. I ordered the breakfast burrito there the first time with the Turkey sausage they make from scratch and it is so savory and delicious! The Lush Latte is a great tasting Latte as well. The second time I ordered the French toast 🙌! And wow it was not what I expected but it was such an amazing treat .It was made into a pancake filled with apple pieces and it was just amazing you must try it .

Phenomenal place. Food is always consistent and delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and Chef has made some truly amazing combinations. The lush bacon is SO tasty! Lushaladas are a favorite, but you can't go wrong with anything here. They have gluten free options for everything!

Will come back definitely. Had the omelette... full of stuff. Hash browns seasoned well. All was very tasty. (Chile could be hotter, but that's just me...) We also had Lushaladas and Lush latte which was also good. Fruit was ripe.

Stumbled upon this place while in town for an event. It was during brunch hours, so it was a set $13.95 including drinks. The food did not disappoint! Super filling, and so delicious. The service was fantastic, and my coffee cup stayed full the whole time. We'll definitely be back again!

2/11/22 I>>>Sandy, co-owner, is it true that you've retired ?<<< Enjoyed another good breakfast this morn. 12/21/21 Due to Pandemic Restrictions, I had breakfast on the open air patio, with heaters. Enjoyed a Breakfast Scramble, choosing black beans, mushrooms, organic spinach. From the numerous bread choices I went with focaccia. There was no charge for red or green Chile. Co-owner Sandy was out front, while Tom was in the kitchen. Long time waitress Becca was there. The result was the usual Great food and Great Service ! ( I Appreciated eating from a reusable plate instead of disposable styrofoam.)

Found this little slice of heaven as we were passing through Albuquerque. On a road trip from Colorado to Arizona, we stayed overnight in Albuquerque. My son's father has celiac so it's hard to find food he can eat on the road. The food here was great. We stopped in for brunch on Saturday and the atmosphere was great and food was delicious. The potato scramble was excellent and French toast was huge and delicious. They even packed us some extra gluten free treats for the drive. Great people, atmosphere and food. It will be a new stop every time we're in town.

When you think fresh, simple, yet delicious menu items the first thought should be Cafe Lush. We were treated so well, presumably by the owner, who made sure our NYE bday celebration was special and safe. The food was so of the best. I wish I had saved pictures, but trust me. Nothing on this menu will disappoint. I had a delicious, cheesey omelette. My partner had some of the largest most delicious breakfast and acid. The coffee was also great too. Give local a shot and support this amazing Cafe.

I got the burrito. I thought it was pretty good. The hashbrowns were incredible. It came with some fruit and tiny chocolate muffin. The order came with a drink of your choosing so I ordered the coffee. Limited seating but not too busy.

I love this small, cozy family downtown restaurant where the cook is actually a well respected chef. The food is excellent and mostly sourced locally. The meals are reasonably priced and unique, delicious recipes. In the morning one can smell the wonderful aroma of raspberry tea brewing. Coffee is great and hot chocolate is the real deal. I think it is made with Godiva chocolate.

Took the short walk to cafe lush during a conference lunch break. Really enjoyed our visit. Had a hibiscus and raspberry tea (delightful) and the half and half combo, which was great value. I had a half beet salad, which was delicious, well dressed, and had lemon peel, which added a great fresh flavour. I also chose half a tofu and sweet potato sandwich, which was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Overall, I was very impressed.

I ordered the breakfast tacos and their Lush Latte. The food was bland, mostly eggs and the corn tortillas were dripping with oil which caused for them to break apart right away. The dish had a garnish of fruit and a small muffin. The fruit was mostly bad and because they put the muffin in the fruit it was mush. The service was surprising in that I was never checked on once, never offered a refill for water and all the servers looked like they didn't like their jobs. I was bummed because it looked cute and their menu looked amazing.

The waitresses here are so sweet!! They offered multiple options for substitution when I just asked to have something taken off my dish, and asked if my partner and I were vegan or vegetarian in order to make suggestions. Food was excellent, especially both types of chili. Drip coffee and espresso were both really good. One of my fav abq breakfasts :) I’m not sure if they always use plastic cups, or if it was because we went during tourist/busy season, but I would suggest not asking for water unless you really want it, in order to save plastic.

It's okay. Have driven past it many times, finally decided to stop. We ordered from the (very) limited Saturday brunch menu. The homemade green chile sausage was tasty as was the peppered bacon. The green chilie in the breakfast burrito was very flavorful and had a bit of a kick as well, which we always enjoy. This is my favorite place in Albuquerque for weekday lunch and Saturday brunch. The food is great, it is also pretty healthy. I would describe it as New Mexico meets New California cuisine. They have the best tofu scramble in Albuquerque and great burritos and several other sandwiches and offerings. Coffee is dusted with "Lush Dust" that mixes coca, cinnamon and cardimon. I know when I bring someone new, there will be something they like. Dogs are welcome on outside patio in nice weather. Parking is on the street which makes Cafe Lush wheelchair unfriendly and isles are narrow so a chair will not fit inside, otherwise Cafe Lush merits a 5 star rating.

Vegan options means that i get a full meal and don't have to take things out unless I don't like them. My plant based diet is based on food allergies. As a vegan in Albuquerque and a new transplant from Portlandia (home to lots of incredible vegan joints) I found Cafe Lush a refreshing and delicious dining choice. I ordered the sweet potato hash veganized with tofu instead of eggs and it was delicious! They seasoned the tofu perfectly, the coffee was nice and strong and they offer soy milk. The meal was satisfying yet the one thing that bothered me was the plastic cups for the drinks and the jam. Plastic is forever. Washing glasses takes a couple of minutes. I will, however, return and ask for my water in a coffee cup if they don't have anything else and the jam on my plate. I also wish, as a vegan, that more restaurants cared about offering truly vegan dishes. Why does so much depend on animals and face it folks, animal abuse? I want to walk in and not have to remember which dish I can have and what items need to be removed / replaced. It's about time for the health of our bodies and our planet.
