Great place to sell your scrap metal. Very nice and helpful employees

My go to for recycling. They offer fair prices and make the process easy. If you are going to make this place your regular recycling center make sure you get the bar code scanner so you do not have to fill out paper work every time. They scan your card and pull up your info in the computer and make for an even faster weigh in.

First time going here, was tired of the rudeness at airline..Friend of mine told me about this place , friendly staff, easy unload. The two staff I talked to were very helpful, ie. Lady behind the counter, and the young man from Jamaica. Will be returning for sure!

TL;DR If you have scrap metal to sell but no clue how, I highly recommend you go to EMR To the uninitiated, scrap yards and selling your excess scrap metal can be intimidating. I myself am no expert, but this EMR location was my far my most positive scrap yard experience to date. It didn't matter that I was pulling up in with under a hundred pounds of incorrectly sorted metals in my trunk and everyone else was there with overflowing trailers, I was welcomed and treated with respect and patience by everyone from the office staff to the weighing crew. The weighing crew were not condescending at all about correcting my feeble attempt at pre-sorting and took the time to educate me on ways to cut up pieces of copper 2 to maximize my copper 1 quantities and how to file test aluminum to make sure it's not brass. Pathetically basic stuff, but like I said, they were very kind about my the whole process. Now all this customer service is fine and good, but the real question is how fair were the weights? Well, I did weigh my haul before I arrived and I was extra thrilled when the weights matched up on the final count. The next time I have a few bins of random scrap, this will be my go to scrap yard.

Not for everyone but it worked for us. Be ready to get your hands dirty! Save those aluminum cans. After a year's worth of collecting, we earned $32 dollars.

Made it there dropped my empty trailer hooked to my loaded one redid the tarp and left. If they going to tarp the loads they need to do a little better
