This was my first experience with this company and I can't recommend. 2 hour appointment missed and I had difficulty getting updated info, even with repeated calls/texts. They arrived almost 5 hours after appointment window expired. All employees I spoke with were nice and I understand that things happen that are unexpected and I allow for that, but I was very disappointed in the communication.

James and Nathan with Junk King did a fantastic job. They showed up at the time they were supposed to, were very thorough, very polite and friendly. My only very small gripe is that when I called to schedule (I believe it goes to a national booking desk) the scheduler told me pick up would be able to happen immediately after the estimate. But when the crew came to do the estimate, James told me they were backed up and would be back in two days to do the work. That was a little frustrating, but still the whole job from initial call to all junk gone was a matter of only three days. All in all, great service at a fair price. Will 100% call Junk King again, and ask that James and Nathan be crew that does the work.

This company came out in the pouring rain to give me an estimate on junk removal after we moved into our new home. Within 3 mins they told me what I would pay. I hired them on the spot and they cleaned it all up within 15 mins. The price was very reasonable and they even gave me a discount because I found them on line. Better experience for me than 1800 got junk. I would hire them again for sure

Got an estimate for removing dirt left over from building a patio. The estimate was reasonable, but more than I was hoping to hear. The technician was very kind and explained how I can use the dirt to do some landscaping in my yard and even how I can improve my flower beds. It was refreshing that they didn't push me to purchase the service and were more than happy to give me some good advice that will improve my yard. Would definitely use them in the future. They seem great to do business with.

On the first day that I was scheduled, they were 2 hours late due to a flat tire, then they told me they didn’t have enough room on their truck and the dump was about to close. After rescheduling, on the second visit the crew was great. They were very thorough in doing a total clean out. They were friendly and professional.

I did my best to get all my furniture set up and organized for an efficient removal, and it helped that I have tile flooring anyway, but man, these folks removed everything so smoothly I forgot that I did anything to contribute! They were professional, courteous, and made me feel at ease. I was even quoted a lower charge than originally mentioned, which was also awesome. I gave them the 20% tip they deserved, but I honestly wish I could've afforded to give more. I was in the military for 8 yrs a while back, and I can tell you, these guys did everything in such an organized way, it was practically flawless. No movement was wasted. I HIGHLY recommend their services!

I set up an appointment through the website to come and get an old non-working grill. I received a confirmation text the day before letting me know of my scheduled window time of pickup and that I could text back with any questions. It was really easy to set up through the website and to have a confirmation text and be able to text back with any questions was great and very helpful! I had Jason call before my pickup which happened to be right at the beginning of my scheduled window and he was so prompt and kind. I didn’t catch the name of the guy he was working with but they were both extremely kind, very professional and were there and gone within 5 minutes! I would definitely use them again!

Paul provided a range of pricing and it ended up less than he originally quoted. Junk King arrived early in the time window I had set up with them. They contacted me by phone 15 minutes prior to arrival. The truck was quite large yet the driver skillfully backed it up a rather difficult driveway. The driver was accompanied by a helper. The driver asked a few questions to make sure everything I wanted hauled away was grouped together. He then gave me an estimate what it would cost to have everything hauled away. My "junk" included a very heavy and cumbersome outdoor grill. I thought the estimate was very reasonable so I agreed to the price they quoted. One of their best features is that their estimate is free and there are no obligations to accept the offer. The "junk" was quickly and efficiently loaded onto the truck. The two men were respectful and pleasant throughout making it a pleasant interaction. When they had completed loading the driver said that the original estimate he gave me when he arrived was a little high so he reduced the price by over $50. Everything about this experience was excellent and I highly recommend Junk King to anyone who needs junk removal. I had a wide variety of junk but they took all of it without any problem. I will definitely use them again in the future...they exceeded my expectations.

First and foremost, had they been on time, this would have been 5 stars The two guys that came were awesome!! Couldn't have asked for two better men. They were so professional and courteous. Now, there was an issue with my appointment. I was told 1-3, and by three I had not heard from anyone, so I called. The first call, after sitting on hold for about five minutes a recording told me to leave a message. So, I called back and got an answer only to be told my appointment was 2-4. Yeah, that was irritating as I had plans at four that I had to cancel. They finally showed up about 4:30. So, if you do schedule with this company, don't make plans, but on the upside, the two guys here in Nashville were great.

Our crew at Junk King did a fantastic job helping us clean out our basement and garage. They kept us posted of their arrival time, gave us an accurate estimate, and did all of the loading. It was also nice to be able to have them do their own thing and not have to supervise them, I gave them a list of units and had them all unlocked and the Junk King team went in and got them all cleaned out and even swept them, leaving them ready for us to rent out!

So many companies that give you a time range for service are not reliable, but they were even early. When they showed up they got right to work, assessing the items they had to move. I reached out to junk king via text with photos to get an estimate. I received a response right away, but was not given an estimate via text as they said they would need to see items in person. Although that seemed like a waste of time, I will say that the text responses were quick and professional and I was able to set up an appointment for an in-person estimate right away. The guys arrived during the scheduled two hour window and they were done in approximately 30min. We had a very random mix of items including several bags of yard waste, a small pile of branches, a 70in television, a few pieces of furniture and bifold closet doors, a huge pile of cardboard, a tire, some bricks and pavers and a small pile of miscellaneous items. As expected, they quoted the price high and then the actual cost ended up being lower (great way to make people feel like they're getting a good deal and also to promote tipping). Initially, I felt like the price was a little steep, especially because there was an extra charge for the tv and the tire, but all in all it was worth it for the convenience of getting everything taken care of at once. I was naive in not knowing that tipping was common with this type of service, so that was an extra expense I didn't expect, but I was happy to tip the guys because they were very nice and did a great job. Overall, I would recommend Junk King if you value convenience over cost. I'm not the type of person who likes to negotiate, but I got the impression that if someone really pressed the issue, pricing could be negotiated. All around efficient and professional.

They did an amazing job for me in 2012. Here it is 2015 and I have accumulated more junk (mainly from remodeling but quite a bit of stuff). Norris was here both times and this time a gentleman named Tomias helped. I had several piles out back, steep hills, many stairs and some stashed in the crawl space to minimize my neighbors seeing the construction piles. It wasn't an easy job but they were still so thorough and professional. They had me check and verify they got everything. They cleaned way more than I thought they would both times. My crawl space is only clean after they've been here. (lol) Punctual, huge truck which managed to hold all the stuff I had, reasonable up-front pricing on their website, I really can't say enough. Highly recommend!!
