These guys were AMAZING!! We were moving things right after a winter storm… it was quite the situation. These men were so professional and very understanding of our unique circumstances. They were very kind going above and beyond. I could list many reason why you should use this company but the main one for me is that they actually care about people. I was very fearful driving in “real snow” as I am from Georgia where snow is a bad word, lol. They offered to let me follow them back to our house and stayed in our sight the whole time so that I would feel more brave. They exercised great skill and professionalism with the job but showed great compassion for a scared newbie to the north. Thank you all so much for all that you did. Overall this was a good experience. Scheduling the service was easy and the workers were very efficient and the men who came and removed our items were polite and professional. HOWEVER, the call center completely underestimated the price on the phone and I was blindsided by the actual price given (about $125 more than anticipated). We needed the items removed quickly, so I paid the extra amount because of need for removal ASAP. I would likely use again, just would prefer more clear expectations around the pricing.

Junkluggers helped me dispose of a hide-a-bad loveseat, a queen-size mattress, a queen-size boxspring, and part of a modular desk. Getting a quote and arranging a pickup appointment over the phone was really easy and convenient. They emailed and texted confirmations and reminders. I had to reschedule my pickup, which was really easy over the phone as well. They called when they were on the way, roughly 30 minutes before they arrived. They arrived on time for the pickup. They were very professional. Originally, I was quoted around $135 for pickup and recycling fees. When they picked up, the actual cost ended up being around $285. However, most quotes I received were around $250 up to $300, so it still seems like a reasonable price. Overall, the convenience was fantastic; avoiding the additional time and energy needed to find somewhere to take old furniture was a blessing!

Working with Junkluggers from the first phone call to having a pickup was stress free and I highly recommend this company. We had a full size stove, full size refrigerator, 3/4 size upright freezer, a heavy hospital bed, and many more items to be removed from our basement. Just thinking about it gave me a headache. I called Junkluggers. All my questions were answered before I booked an appointment, which I did. Two days later, Nate and Larry showed up, gave me a quote, and loaded up everything. I called at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. By 1:00 p.m. that same day, two very nice young men arrived at our house, gave me a final price for hauling away our unwanted furniture, loaded it up and were gone! I also appreciate that they will attempt to donate the items, and if successful you receive a receipt in the mail from them within two weeks. I had tried to donate these items that were in good shape to several local charities and they would not take them.

Only problem I had was that I wasn't given all the extra surcharges for things like TV's and mattresses and fridges during the beginning quote. They came as an afterthought while they were working, even though they saw them and were told about them at the beginning.

It was a lifesaver to help cleaning out a house, garages and a shed with accumulated stuff of 20+ years. I wish I would have hired them before the house was sold and empty much more of the space. Also they donate or recycle first which is wonderful and depose of the rest properly. The people were great to work with also, Jesse, Larry, etc. Friendly, worked hard, packed the trucks tightly, and were honest/fair with the pricing. I highly recommend them to help cleanup or declutter.
