I use this transfer station and scrap yard several times a month both professionally and personally. By far the best rates per ton and the place to go especially for larger hauls. Everyone is professional and friendly as long as you are safe, respectful and communicative. Theresa at the front desk is very more than friendly and very knowledgeable and efficient. The scrap yard crew is the best scrap crew I've dealt with. I've used several places around the twin cities and suburbs. Most places employees are cold and rude and yards are a mess. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful and the yard is clean without hazards everywhere to pop your tires. Pay out here isn't the highest around however service is.

Very quick in and out but today or Trash Truck decided that pushing the garbage out was not going to happen. The employees at Dem-Con help us get the garbage out with machine they called a poker. Without their help it would of been taken us several hours to pull out all the garbage by hand. $96 a ton is not to bad a price but it's excellent when you know under any unforeseen situation the staff has your back.

First time here after having trouble finding a transfer station, DemCon has a little better pricing and MILES better customer service than anywhere else. Thank you Theresa for making this visit to get rid of moving trash super painless! :)

This place is amazing. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They guide you through the whole process and the whole time every employee I came in contact with was friendly said hi and helped make sure I knew where I was going and what I was doing. I will never go to another scrap yard again. Thank you guys for making a scrap yard with a friendly and not stressful environment!

Guys in the yard were very thorough with their explanations on where to go, was a great and easy experience. Wish I had got their names. Was there on Wednesday April 6th 2022 around 9:30am. Great great customer service!

First visit. The scrap metal folks there were unbelievably helpful, polite, and just downright friendly. Nothing like most places. I've been a blue collar worker for 25+ years, so surly customer service doesn't really faze me, but this place was a breath of fresh air. I couldn't even tell you how many times the guys thanked me for stopping, and said to have a good day. Good people working there.

Nice place, the scrapyard is excellent but they charge extra per item for furniture on top of weight at the scale which is a bit much, basically double charging for a load of couches

Dem-con is definitely a five-star, their service is second to none. Ben and his crew run an exceptionally tight ship. I will be going back to dem-con metals in Blaine again. Way to go guys!!!!!!

More expensive than local Minneapolis dump, about 20 minutes out, but fairly quick dumping, friendly and clear about what can be dumped.

Great place wonderful staff a bit confusing where to go if never been to a place like that(just get on the scale) but the staff was great and not overly priced for a dump run $90 for Treatmed lumber pickup truck load
