Very nice facility. Quick and efficient service with drive through check in. We dropped off waste paint and unusable electronics for free. Check Dakota county website for more details on acceptable items.

Very organized. Be prepared for long wait. I got there 1 hour before opening was 2nd in the door. By 8:05 am there were cars lined up out on Dodd Rd for about a 1/4 mile.

The line is long if you get there before they open. With that said, the line moves fast and there is no charge if you live in Dakota county. Friendly staff that works quick. Keep up the great work and thanks for recycling my old junk. It makes me feel good knowing it won't end up in a landfill.

I've been using this facility more the 20 years, no complaints. Excellent services & helpful personnel. All college/high school kids are hard workers & went out of their way. An older gentleman behind counter can't remember his name, always there when I dropped off my used automobile oil. He's very efficient & get the kids motivated..

I called ahead and they answered quickly and were polite. I brought all the boxes from my recent move as well as some lightbulbs and got the same service when I arrived. After I pulled up, someone came out and asked what I had, loaded the boxes/cardboard into a cart and took the lights. I walked in to scan my license and was on my way. Very pleasant first-time experience.

Like so many others, I've been using the Recycling Zone for years. It's a facility staffed by helpful, courteous hard-working people. I really appreciate the services they offer. No matter how busy it gets, they're always friendly. Great people make for a great service!

Easy and convenient. They unload the recycling material for you, which is an added bonus. Also, with the recent remodel, you no longer need to run into the main building to swipe your drivers license, as they now have a drive-thru spot where an employee swipes your ID and directs you on where to go.

I have brought ALL KINDS of things there for YEARS! The staff is always nice and helpful! The "Free shelf" is great as well! I wish hours were later more often....but 8PM two days a week is not bad! I'm very happy a place like this exists! Help keep our environment clean and recycle over tossing in a landfill!!!

I was referred here from Anoka County to get a compost bin. The bins are of high quality and are easy to set up. The are about half of what they sell for in other places so it was definitely worth the drive. Make sure to follow signage off of Dodd Rd because you could easily end up in Gopher Resource and not really know where to go. Parking seems like it might get limited if they are busy, the guy says they average two cars a minute. They give 25 cents a pound for aluminum cans and nothing more. More of a courtesy to do it. Nice thing is they recycle unused chemicals and cleaning supplies so if you need to drop off or pick some up, stop here first! Great staff, very helpful. They don't accept credit/debit cards if you are buying something. Cash or check only.

This place is possibly the best place within the surrounding areas. Where else can a person go and dispose of toxic and hazardous material for free of charge? Not many. The workers and staff at this location are cream of the crop. Nowhere else will you find such young, respectful workers eager to assist and help you with disposing of your pounds of recycling and waste. The management as well is top notch and should be commended on their work. If you have an issue with the way they operate it is most likely a personal issue because all the info you need is either on the web site or just a phone call away so don't hesitate to call because they are willing to help you out! This is a great way to be proactive and conscious of what we dispose of and how we go about disposing it. KEEP IT UP!

This place is great. Very well organized staff. Huge help with discarding items from my mothers home in Eagan. The line can be long but thank goodness for this place. The rest of the trash industry in Mn needs a lot of help!

The Recycling Zone has great service and we usually use it at least twice a month. They also have a great reuse area where you can get free previously used products (like paint, stain, cleaners, pesticides, fertilizers, and lots of other household chemicals).

I pulled up with 6 TVs/monitors and an SUV full of various electronic and household stuff. The friendly, efficient staff jumped on unloading it quickly and led me inside to a tidy desk area where the only charge was $10/TV/monitor (Best Buy charges $25).

I'm a little far from this place so I don't get there much, but the people are pretty helpful and I like the free discarded stuff like paint and cleaning chemicals. Great way to help the environment by disposing of your hazardous chemicals and letting someone else reuse them!
