Reviews of Cimco Recycling Milwaukee
Always enjoy doing work for Chuck, JR, Terry , Mike, and Paul in and around the shop. The guys do their best to keep the trucks and equipment in the best working shape possible to keep the yard running. Chuck is one of the best mechanics I personally know.
Friendly, helpful and easy. Brought the aluminum siding from from the tear-off and residing project on my house. Cleaned the backer board of the siding so I could bring just the metal. Very friendly and helpful, easy entry, parking and unload. Great job and a very good price
Thank you.
I love that they bring you a metal basket thingy to fill up & then come & get it for you. Cans are 32 cents a lb which kinda sucks seeing as covid_19 is making it hard to make money right now. 😷 The last time I took cans in was September 2019 & had 62lbs of cans today for a whopping total of $20....🙄🤔😪 …
Everytime I go, there's no one around. Luckily the first time, someone showed me to load up a cart with my cans and wheel it into building by the scale. Now I do that, but will have to wait a bit for someone to come out to weigh them, with no way to buzz/ring that a customer is there. Broken glass on ground too, where you drive and park. It's closest to my house but I don't prefer it.
Quick and easy. Staff was helpful as this was my first visit.
This was my first time coming in to recycle cans. The employees are very helpful and nice. An employee even held the door when opening it and said I hope you come back soon. They give you a detailed printed receipt which is also nice.
They're pay good for recycling items.
Second time to any scrapyard. I called ahead to get more information. The person on the phone was very helpful and friendly. The staff at the yard were also very informative and nice. I didn't know a lot about the process by it was easy and intuitive to drop off my metal scrap and drive out with cash.
Well organized. Staff is friendly and cheerful. Recycling already feels good, but recycling at Cimco was especially satisfying. Watching the heavy machinery being operated is fun!
Was not happy with the cell phone exchange. Brought in 3 1/2 # cell phones and 1 1/2 # of lithium ion batteries and received $5. The receiver should call off what is being weighed at the time. At least give you the opportunity to say no, I'll take it some where else. Brought in bright and shinny wire and paid.#2. Spent a lot of time stripping. All brass was paid #2, all copper was paid #2. I do like that I am in and out in less than 10 minutes. Good pay on steel/iron.
This is the first time I went here to recycle some aluminium cans. Pulled into the north gate and saw a sign that stated to enter through the south gate. So I turned around and went south down the road. Saw the Cimco sign on the south gate, which was on the north side of a building facing north. No wonder I did not see it. pulled in and drove through following the signs. Ended up right where I initially pulled in. I parked, and we greeted by a worked on a forklift. Told him I had cans and he went off and got a bin to put them in. I loaded my cans, then the worker picked up the bin and drove off. Not knowing what to do I walked in the direction that he went. I waited outside the building, once again not knowing, and he signaled me to come in. He gave me a ticket with my weight of cans and the amount I would be paid. Drove back around to the office and scanned my ticket and out popped my cash. All in all a good experience.
Would recommend some more signage for direction as to where a customer can and should not go. I will go back again.
Very friendly personal here. Great prices.
Takes all metals, swift and easy.
Been to many recycling centers across the country. By far the most organized and customer service focused. Highly recommend this place.
Friendly and courteous people here at Cimco Recycling the only downside is they don't pay as well as other recyclers in the area. Otherwise great service.
they have helped homeless veterans and given others chances no one else woulf
Metal recycling. Seems like a nice bunch
JR at the Milwaukee location is one of the most professional and knowledgeable person I've ever met in the recycling business. 10/10 would go again
Good customer service, just a little hard to find the entrance.
Very professional, great recycling center.
I love this place because they give money and i dont like it because it is dirty and it smells bad
