Charles TrittI took our old walk behind lawnmower and some scrap iron and steel in for recycling. I called ahead to confirm they could take the mower (they could). The employees were friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. The yard was reasonably clean and well organized. I got $7 for 109 lbs of iron and steel which at least paid for my gas to bring it in.

Donna FleesThere was quite a lot of metal pieces in the area to drive,, which I was afraid would get in my tires. So it's a metal yard so what do I expect, right? I've had metal parts in my tires too many times and not looking to replace a tire, so watch for that.
Also the cashier cheated me out of 40 cents. No big deal but not exactly fair.

Brent EmeryGet paid to recycle most types of metals here. Do not throw things out in your trash. Old washers/dryers, metal furniture, aluminum cans, etc all can be recycled. They've got a good crew working here.
