Cedar Mills has been great for the past 3 years we have been renting from them. Their office staff is above and beyond. They are always quick to respond and make sure any issues have been resolved. The maintenance team is great, they have always found a solution to any problems we come across. They are hands down one of the best property management companies I have ever had the pleasure of renting from.

I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and the care they have shown for our rental property house we have been in for 3 years now. Anytime we have had an issue, they get on it right away. Like this week, because of the heat lately, our water pipes started leaking and needed replaced. Cedar Mills Management contacted the people we needed to get that fixed and were there that same day. Not only the people to fix the leak but also someone to fix the carpet that was soaked from the leak. Cedar Mills have always been so helpful whenever we have a problem come up. We are so thankful for their help and responsiveness when we need them!

I absolutely love Cedar Mills PM, Nela and her team are exceptional. We were looking for a home in a time the housing market was crazy and the rental market was even crazier. She had one home available and she had her team work hard to meet our move in date! Since moving in, any maintenance request we had was answered promptly and with great customer service. Nela or a team member often called to check on progress and if there was a delay, communicated that as well. The online services are great too and makes it easy to make rental payments and requests. I highly recommend this company/team to meet all of your management and/or rental needs! We will be here for years… as long as they have us !

My wife and I had never rented before and it was nice to have experienced personnel there to explain the ins and outs on both fronts. The home owner we rented from was also very flexible and understanding with our situation. She dropped our lease terms to 6 months and month to month after that to assist. Cedar Mills made our first rental experience enjoyable and I will definitely recommend them to others.

Very professional, and caring company. I've known the owner, as a business colleague, and have been a customer of theirs the past 2.5 years. I have to say, that they have been the best company to work with. I haven't rented in years, and was experiencing some health issues last year, that they worked with me on, in a very understanding manner. I appreciate that beyond explanation. Heather has been a true professional, who always returns calls, emails, etc., and has been a great conduit between myself, and the property owner. If I ever rent again, I will use Cedar Mills. I love this company. I have moved almost every year that I have been out on my own once my lease was up. I have been at the same place for almost 3 years now. The staff at Cedar Mills has been fantastic. There were times that I had bumps in the road and I was worried about making ends meet, and I just called the complex and they were able to work out a fair deal with me. They are very tenant friendly and would do anything for the people who rent from them. They have always been quick to fix any maintenance issues or just answer any questions. I recommend them to any one of my friends who is looking for a place to rent. If you are looking in to any of their properties, move into it you will not regret it.

I have rented a house from Cedar Mills for quite some time and I love the experience. The staff is very helpful and offers great & reliable customer service. They respond quickly and effectively when it comes to anything from their end. While some properties are on the older side, they certainly make it clear they care a great deal about all their properties. I highly recommend Cedar Mills to anyone, but especially students at Wichita State.

Cedarmills is a professional and personable management company. They advocate for both landlord and tenant to insure a fair outcome. The owner of the property I rented hired a realtor to sell the property, however in the process she attempted to bypass the management company (Cedarmills) in effort to circumnavigate my rights as a tenant. I left the rental early based on promises from this realtor which she later denied and refused to honor. When Cedarmills was notified of the issue they quickly stepped in, rectifying broken communications and launching a thorough investigation to mediate the situation. If it would not have been for the management company I would have been taken advantage of and my legal rights negated.

Cedar Mills Property Management is fantastic. I rented a property for about 3 years from them. Never had any issues. When we moved out, we worked hard on getting the house ready for inspection. I was unsure if I would get any of my deposit back as I have had bad experiences with landlords before. We got almost all of our deposit back!!! Great people!! Highly recommend!!!

Hands down the best experience when renting. Highly reccommend. We rented from Cedar Mills from 2014 - 2019. I have rented more than 12 houses in my life, this was the first experience using a management company. No drama. They leave you alone and let you live your life. If the house had issues, they were there to fix it typically that day. Fantastic budget price for a gorgeous house. Everyone at the company is super friendly and understanding of any issues that arise. If you are tired of renting through a landlord use Cedar Mills. From initial walkthrough, to maintenance problems, to key turn in. No problems. 5 stars.

Cedar Mills has been managing our property since we moved out of Wichita in 2013, and we have had a wonderful experience! It has not been easy for them either. We have had appliances fail, an air conditioner stolen, and our house left a mess by tenants(and our previous, substandard manager - Grbic). Through every obstacle, Cedar Mills has maintained outstanding communication, excellent service and a superior level of professionalism. I would, and have, recommended them to anyone looking for property management in Wichita, KS.

If you are looking for a property management company, I highly recommend Cedar Mills Property Management. Our property manager, Nela, took care of our property for 4 years while we served overseas. We were in communication when repairs were needed to the home and to give updates about the property, so I felt she was very responsible in taking care of the property. Not only did she take care of us, the landlords, but she also took really good care of tenants. I am very happy with the service we received.

I only rated this management high to be sure people know what they are getting themselves into. We rented a home from cedar mills located at 2237 S. Crest Wichita, 67207. When first looking at this home we noticed wet dirt in the crawl space. Jennifer assured us this issue would be handled. Shortly after moving in under the home became flooded. Cedar Mills was contacted and took them several weeks to poorly TRY to handle the problem. I had asked to be released from the lease before they sent maintance, another storm led to the utility room and garage flooding. Very Poor Management. If you choose to go threw these people contact them via email not phone. You want to be sure to have a paper trail with them.

Found myself here helping direct a friend to the site -- after reading some reviews, I feel compelled to provide my own review. I have rented from Cedar Mills since Sept 2011, so nearly 2 years now, same residence. From the first moment of contact, I have received nothing but professional -- yet real and human -- treatment from the staff. The leasing agent listened closely to both my financial and housing needs and helped me extensively. The repairs that I have needed were addressed and handled immediately. I have met maintenance personnel as well as the actual owner (he prides himself a handyman and likes to handle some things himself) -- all experiences have left me feeling both safe and valued. The original leasing agent who showed me the property and signed me as a tenant was a wonderful young lady -- she has since advanced her career and moved on, no longer with Cedar Mills. Imagine my surprise and delight to have received a "farewell" email from her prior to her departure!! She was sure to include new primary contact information -- no worries about calling the wrong number or being shuffled around, etc -- this demonstrates the integrity, values, and work ethic of staff hired by Cedar Mills. This last spring, I was the unfortunate victim of a robbery and had emailed the office in the middle of the night to inform staff. Upon waking the following morning, Nela, owner, contacted me -- first asking if I was ok -- and then set right to work -- sent maintenance over to change all locks, repair the screen cut during the robbery, and make sure all exterior lighting was working, etc. Again, felt safe and valued. It's also important to note -- as someone who enjoys space, privacy, and quiet -- any time a visit and/or repair is expected from the owner or property management for ANY reason has been scheduled/cleared with me prior. In other words, I've had no worries about someone with a key lightly knocking for 2 seconds and letting themselves in while I'm showering or something. I live in a neighborhood with lots of renters, and I've heard good and bad stories many times over -- have also been a renter myself under various management companies -- Cedar Mills Property Management thus far has surpassed all my expectations and actually impressed -- rare and welcomed!!

Maintenance has been very responsive to my requests and the properties are very well maintained. For a smaller company I am very pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness of the staff. After having an awful experience with another property management company in the city, it was such a wonderful blessing to visit with the Cedar Mill staff. Nela is AWESOME! We used Cedar Mills to manage our condo for leasing for about two years. They were very good about finding tenants for us and they basically took care of everything for us because we were out of state. They supplied receipts for all the expenses. Their handy man was quick with responding to service orders. Nela (owner ) is also a realtor so when we decided to sell the condo she took care of that. That was the SMOOTHEST selling experience ever. It is so nice to have the same management company do the selling as well especially since we were out of state. We felt that Nela truly had our best interest. Once the tenants moved out she had her crew in and paint the place for us and listed the place very quickly. We took all her recommendations and they have all served us well. I cannot rave and compliment enough about how efficient and good Nela is . I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her.

I love this company! We have lived in a house managed by them for a year now and we have had nothing but great things to say about them. Jennifer helped us find this place and she was amazing. So helpful and kind. She has continued over the last year to be that same way. Taking time to ask me how things were going in my personal life and making a relationship with us. Every time we have come to her with a need she has always been helpful and gotten right on it. I am also very pleased with the maintenance. It is hard to find good maintenance when renting a place, I feel like that is always everyone's biggest complaint. Everyone that has come in our door has been professional, respectful of our home and got the job done right and in a timely manner. This is a big deal to me as I have a baby and am always weary about who is in my house. We plan on signing another lease with them and hope you find this review helpful as you are looking for your next home to live in.

My husband and I currently rent an apartment on the 1760 property. We are both graduate students at WSU and are very busy. Whenever we need something from the office, they always accommodate our needs quickly and kindly whether we call to ask a simple question or have them send someone to fix something. We feel 100% safe in our apartment and love being so close to campus. It is the nicest apartment at this price range we've ever lived in, having moved here from the east coast. We will be staying for our second year of grad school, without a doubt!

Very helpful staff! They made sure everything was ready to go right away. It was the cleanest apartment I've ever rented (new carpet, paint, appliances). The rent is affordable and easy to pay online. They also do a good job of keeping up the area around the apartment.

The prices are good compared to everywhere else in Wichita, and for college students you cannot beat the location. Also staff has always come quickly to deal with any problems we had with the house. As a current tenant, I am a mother of young kids living right by WSU. I like the quiet neighborhood with great schools that my kids are able to attend. My college aged neighbors are all very respectable and I feel safe. I like there is a park near that my kids can enjoy. I like our big grassy area. Our home is very nice. When we had issues with a closet door needing to be unlocked they came the same day and changed the door handles right away. I didn't like the idea of my kids room having locks.

I had some rough times with them on a previous tenant but they actually have gotten a lot better with communication and updates in my recent experience. Perhaps there were new staff or a lot of turnover at one point but they promptly notified me about most recent tenants departing and are doing a good job.

Currently I am at 1702, and the aesthetic and appeal of this place is great. Although its next to a fraternity house, it is quiet and peaceful. Any downsides may be because the age of the building, but it is a solid structure with that antique feel. Very Happy!
