The move-in experience was a breeze, and Chatel gave me a supply kit that included “first day” items that are often overlooked upon a move. Since then, I have had a pleasant experience with the maintenance staff as I work to turn a blank slate of an apartment into my new home. Thank you!

Chatel Real Estate managed my 4 unit building in the DuPont/Logan neighborhood for 4 years. Sarah was prompt in responding to my tenants’ requests and adept at handling the many issues which can arise in a building more than 140 years old. Craig went out of his way to show the apartments whenever there was a vacancy and his interest in the building’s history was second only to mine. At my recommendation, Chatel continues to manage the building for its new owner. Enough said.

I own many rental properties in DC all manage by Chatel. I am also on the board of my condominium association where I live. Our condominium building is also manage by Chatel. They are professional, detail oriented, and a pleasure to deal with. I always receive response from my email questions fast. There was a situation that was happening in one of the building where I own a rental unit. Chris, the Chatel manager for that building help me work out a win win situation for my unit and for the board of that building. These guys really show they want my business!

We recently moved out of a Chatel rental north of Dupont Circle because we bought a new home. My husband and I have lived in tons of apartments in NYC and DC and this is by far the best and most professional management company both of us have ever experienced. Channing, Shanice and the whole team are communicative, helpful and responsive. Everyone we met has been so professional and friendly...a great combination. They also have an easy online method for opening service tickets and they actually follow-up swiftly to make sure any repair or work happens in short order. Thank you guys!!!
