Mandy Wheeler is the realtor that you dream of but never think you will find. When I called from Arizona, looking for a house in Maine, she replied within the hour. She immediately made me feel that we were a team and organized a face to face virtual meeting to better assess our needs. She went out of her way to accommodate our tight house hunting time line, and remained available to answer any questions throughout the entire process. She never pushed us to sign a contract, but was upfront and honest with all costs when addressed. She seamlessly organized viewings, spending days visiting open homes with us while we learnt the lay of the land. Mandy quickly understood what we were looking for, and with a very limited inventory, adjusted and narrowed our search to save time. Throughout the viewing process she gave essential feedback and insight, allowing us to better understand ‘what’ we were actually looking at. She never pushed us to put an offer in, but encouraged us to wait until we found the ‘right’ home. While Mandy may seem 'cute', she is not to be underestimated; she is clever, knows both Maine and real estate, gave valuable advice, is honest, patient, saved us time, was prompt, organized and insightful. Most importantly she knows the market. We found our home, but would not have had a chance of actually owning it without Mandy. We were the first to view our 'dream' home and the first to get an offer in the same day, thanks to Mandy and her team. I am a foreigner, where buyers agents are not common, Mandy has changed my mind and showed me how essential the right realtor can be in influencing your outcome. The bonus of her as your realtor is that she is just a nice person to be around! I can't imagine selling our home, however, any real estate transactions we have in the future will be with Mandy.

Mandy was absolutely amazing throughout the entire house-buying experience. My fiancé and I were first time purchasers, and to be honest the whole idea of buying a house was so scary and intimidating -- until we met Mandy. She explained how it all works so clearly, answered any and all questions whenever/wherever, and most importantly, made the process FUN! It took a few months to find our perfect home, but Mandy stuck with us through it all and was just as determined (if not more!) to find our perfect home. My partner and I started working with Mandy in February 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic started getting serious in the U.S. Through it all, Mandy was extremely responsive, professional, respectful, and did everything she could do for us as the market started getting extremely competitive. My partner and I were young queers buying our first home and had no idea what we were in for, but Mandy and her incredible employee Cara helped us every step of the way and answered all the (sometimes silly) questions we had. We viewed multiple (almost 10 I think?!) properties, put in multiple offers, requested multiple inspections, and even had our loan changed mid-process. Ultimately thanks to Mandy and Cara we were able to view, put an offer in, and close on our dream home in April 2020. Mandy worked her magic to make it possible for us. It is a difficult time in the real estate market for buying. Property is limited and prices are high. There is extreme competition to buy. I had been previously looking for a property months prior with another agency but was unable to secure a property.
