We had a phenomenal experience with Ariel. Purchasing a house in Portland in early 2022 was absolutely insane. We started with a different realtor. While that person was responsive, friendly, and dutifully showed us houses, they didn't provide us with the necessary context of the Portland market and, it seemed, didn't fight for us once we made offers. We lost out on a bunch of houses, including several where our offer was competitive with the winning offer. We were never in the conversation when it came time to competing for the house. Discouraged, we let that realtor go. We discovered Ariel when we looked at a house she was selling. She was gracious and helpful from the start, and immediately was providing us with the sort of information about the market that we felt we were missing. During our search process with Ariel, she demonstrated incredible responsiveness and knowledge. Despite what we assume is a very busy schedule for her, we always felt like we were her only client. After a week, we found a house we liked and Ariel's communication with the seller ultimately got us an accepted offer. From that point, Ariel guided us through the process successfully and was always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations on everything from inspection strategy to good companies for doing work on the house. We even ended up seeking Ariel's advice when we sold our own house out of state, and she graciously gave some time to provide us with some great information. I know this sounds like an infomercial, but we couldn't have been happier with Ariel and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor in Portland. Thanks Ariel!

We recently bought our first house with Ariel as our agent and no review could possibly capture how great the experience was. We are new the area and Ariel took the time to give us context, show us tons of houses, and explain to us so many things. I asked a million questions to her throughout the process and she was always responsive, kind and knowledgeable. What really blew us away was how detail-oriented and knowledgeable about both houses themselves and the local market Ariel is. She was able to spot "red-flags" in houses right away and helped us understand what work different houses would need and if they were smart investments. She even has advised us on several potential upgrades we are doing to the house to make sure we are maximizing for resale value down the road. All in all, I couldn't emphasize how amazing Ariel is - we will never use another agent!

It was obvious Melissa spent a lot of time preparing for our meeting. She offered good suggestions on what was worth sprucing up and what wasn’t to get the best return on our investment. This was the second property Ariel helped us with. Let me tell you why we recommend Ariel as a TOP real-estate agent... With our first move, we relocated to a new home 4 hours away. When we arrived at our new house with two large U-Haul trucks "packed to the gills" with our belongings, Ariel, though she lived over an hour away, was there waiting and even helped us unpack the trucks! With our recent move which involved selling our (present) home and purchasing a new home (one we had built), Ariel was at our side all the way. Though she sold our house in record time, our "purchaser" was willing to wait until our new home was built. Not only did Ariel keep in constant contact with our purchaser's agent, but Ariel also worked VERY CLOSELY with the builder of our new house, keeping us up-to-date on their progress. We can't give enough praise for how great a real-estate agent Ariel is and how "on-the-ball" she is with keeping track of EVERYTHING involved with her client's sale and relocation! Ariel helped me purchase my first house and the transaction went so smooth, I hardly felt stressed. Her communication over the phone, text, email or in person was so professional that I felt very comfortable working with her. She has superb knowledge of the field and I felt comfortable every step of the process. Her ability to negotiate with the seller blew me away. A little context: I have FHA loan and the house I was about to close wouldn't pass FHA loan unless it receives a new paint job. Ariel negotiated with the seller to do a fresh paint job in order to close on time and the best part was, I did not have to pay anything extra. I cannot say enough great things about Property Group NW! I had a complicated situation where tenants on my property had not paid rent for a couple months causing the house to be in pre-foreclosure. I decided it would be best to remove the tenants and list the property for sale. Unfortunately, the tenants had devalued the property immensely and the agents at Property Group NW were still able to find a buyer! During the closing process, there was an unknown judgement against the property and she was able to still close the transaction with money in my pocket. With all of the odds against me (awful tenants, poor condition of the property, judgement, etc.) the Property Group NW team somehow managed to make this experience a positive one and I am now able to move on and purchase another home for myself!
