Paris Group Realty recently helped my wife and I purchase a home near Portland, Oregon. In our three months searching, the Paris team was incredibly patient and supportive by showing us over a dozen homes and encouraging us to find a property best suited to our needs and desires. Throughout the process, Claire Paris and her colleagues displayed their expert knowledge of the local neighborhoods and the evolving market. Claire, together with team members Brittany, Will, Josh, and Heather, were responsive to us seven days a week, were always punctual for appointments, and bent over backwards to answer every question we had and to accommodate our requests to tour homes over a wide geographic area. Claire was especially instrumental in negotiating the purchase of our current home, despite our need to offer considerably less than the asking price. Finally, during escrow, Paris team member Kelly did a phenomenal job coordinating an array of inspections and varied contractors, all of whom addressed our concerns and made repairs before closing. I cannot say enough about how great Claire and everyone at Paris Group Realty were in helping me find the home of my dreams. Everyone I met at Paris Group was friendly, patient, and incredibly kind. They were responsive to the point that it felt like I was their only client, even though I know they were super busy. Client actually feels like the wrong word to describe my relationship with this team. Looking at houses with Claire felt more like looking at a place with a good friend more so than a realtor. Her advice and insight always felt like it was coming from a place of what was best for me, not what could get me to buy whatever property we were looking at. Claire became so familiar with my taste, she could often predict within a few minutes of entering a property what my reaction would be, and never once pushed me to move forward with a property I wasn't comfortable with. When some issues were identified with my dream property, Claire and the team at Paris Group snapped into action and quickly found me inspectors and contractors to help me assess what it would take to fix the issue, and then worked with the sellers to make it right. As someone new to the Portland area, Claire's amazing network of contacts made the entire process amazingly smooth from start to finish. If and when I am ever in the market to purchase a new home, Claire will be my first call, without a doubt. But I suspect she will already know since I get the sense that with Claire and everyone at Paris Group, the purchase of a home with them is just the beginning of the relationship, not the end. When you end up looking at as many homes as my wife and I did, even entering into escrow more than once before finding the home we ended up with, it would be a stretch to expect that we would have made it to the top of the list of Claire Paris's favorite clients. But to their credit, they stuck with us until we found our home. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Claire and all her staff, especially Josh, and Kelly. Josh was always willing to show us another home when we ventured out to see a promising property we'd found on the Internet only to be disappointed when actually seeing it in person, or uncovering that unexpected major repairs were needed during the inspection process. And during the frenetic market of 2022 before the interest rate hikes, the market was completely unpredictable when it came to knowing where to bid on homes that were deliberately underpriced but always overbid. And then when the market changed... Navigating any real estate market without an experienced team like the one at Paris Group Realty is not something I would wish on anyone, and that makes recommending Paris Group Realty a very easy move.

As first time home buyers, Claire was able to answer all of our questions. She and the transaction coordinator, Heidi, were quick to respond to emails (our preferred contact method) and would call us during any more urgent steps. It felt like we really had a team on our side the whole way. When we couldn't attend the inspection, Claire went in our place and shared her professional opinion about the findings. Unfortunately you can't always choose when to move! Heather was absolutely amazing and we can't praise her enough. We've worked with Heather on 3 transactions now and it is always a breeze, no matter the conditions. The last two, selling our current home and buying a new one, were at the peak (maybe?) of the 2021 real estate frenzy. We started talking in March or April about strategy to sell, how we'd find a new house, what repairs/fixes we needed to do, and basic timelines. From there she took care of EVERYTHING outside of packing us up!
