My wife and I had a great experience with Renters Warehouse. Prior to working with them when finding a home, we were in conversations with other property management companies. To be honest none of those companies were responsive or attentive at all… I even tried calling one of those companies because we were interested in a house about 17 times and left 8 messages. Within 3-4 weeks never heard back from them… I mention this because once we inquired about our current home now, Renter’s Warehouse reached out to us within a few hours. We were able to tour our new home that day with the realtor agent. Philip Hamilton was the agent who helped us through the whole process. He was very informative, kind, respectable, shared his knowledge about the market and answered all of our questions. One of the big reasons we went with Renter’s Warehouse was because of Philip’s great communication since the beginning and him going through the whole process in detail but straight to the point as well. I believe the process went smooth and fairly quick. We are happy with our decision to work with Philip and Renter’s Warehouse. Big thank you to them.

After a long term lease our tenants recently moved out, but Kristi and Cassi worked diligently around the clock to get us a new tenant. I quite honestly can't say enough about Melissa Cowardin, our Rent Estate Advisor with Renters Warehouse. I wish there was an option to give more stars because she wholeheartedly deserves it! Anyone that has ever moved before knows how stressful it can be. For our family, this move had the potential of being an absolute astronomical disaster to say the least. On top of planning our move out of state, we were also in the midst of closing escrow on the sale of our home, and both of my in laws were diagnosed with COVID-19. Melissa is knowledgeable, very responsive and was always available to answer any and all questions we had, and great communication. All too often businesses and representatives only see people as dollar signs or just another applicant, not with Melissa. To her we were important, we mattered, we were a family looking for a safe, clean, quality home in a good area. She explained the process thoroughly, from the application, to acceptance, signing documents, and move in process. Melissa really put our mind at ease by reassuring us that our move would be seamless, and that she was there for us anytime with whatever we might need. We were so excited when we arrived, first the house was EXACTLY as the photos depicted (this isn't always the case when you rent online, sight unseen), then Melissa was there waiting for us and walked us through the house, even taking the time to show us how to maintain/operate some of the specialty features. She even returned later that evening with a welcome gift of cookies :). I would highly recommend Melissa Cowardin with Renters Warehouse. I had Renters Warehouse managing one of my properties in AZ for about 9 years. They were good in responding to tenet service tickets for issues with the rental. They give you the option to add funds for repair issues, or take it from the monthly rent funds. In late April, I decided to sell the house through Renters Warehouse, so we could ensure the tenet's would not have to move once the house was sold. I worked with Bill O'Connell on the sale. Bill put the house on the market, and we got several offers well above asking price. After going over them with Bill, we decided to accept the tenets offer, which was about the same as others. After the appraisal came in much lower than expected, Bill worked with the appraiser to re-evalue the property. After they adjusted the appraisal, the deal moved forward. Deal was closed in 30 days from original acceptance date, and about 5 weeks after we listed the property. They have a sizeable clientele of people who are always looking to buy property, which is why we had about 10 offers the next day after it was listed for sale. Bill was always professional, and we talked many times via phone and email about where the sale was. Was a pleasure working with him.

As first-time rental property investors, we found out quickly how complicated and time consuming the "management" piece is. We thought that part would be the easiest…wrong! It kept me up at night amazed by what tenants where capable of doing and not doing. UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE on 7015 S STADIUM CT. Gilbert, AZ. After being moved in for 3 months, we found out there was a scorpion infestation. The next door neighbors said it had been a problem for years. They even stuccoed their brick or whatever it is that makes up the backyard perimeter bc they wanted to keep them out. Renters Warehouse basically told us that scorpions were part of the pest control that the renters are responsible for. This was much more than a scorpion here or there. This was major. They were everywhere coming through cracks and crevices in the kitchen area. Do NOT RENT FROM RENTERS WAREHOUSE. Once we found this out, Melissa stopped responding to our phone calls and text messages. Total betrayal. This was the last scorpion that I saw that crawled between the window and screen. It was trying to get through the window to come inside.

Malissa had good communication and did a good job screening tenants; though would not do anything above and beyond her outlined duties as per the agreement-an example would be a counter needed to be wiped down (at first showing) and she notified me immediately of this though I am out of state and I had to schedule a cleaning crew go back to do another cleaning. We thought it was no big deal to wipe down a counter with a wipe or something but she refused. Another example- I asked if she could be a point of contact for a carpet install appointment and she said no, again because not in the agreement. I am a licensed realtor too and would always do duties above and beyond to help my clients, especially when they are out of state; but she refused to and that was well within her right. She did everything we agreed upon in writing and was professional and a good communicator about feedback. We are giving 4 stars only because with regard to customer service she did not go “above and beyond”. So long story short: Malissa will do a very good job for you, is professional and a good communicator, and will screen and secure good tenants for you in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the outcome of her securing tentants for a 3 yr lease of our home.

Renter's Warehouse really goes above and beyond in the interests of their renters. Right from the beginning I have to say renting with them has been the easiest thing, especially compared to other companies I have rented through. I was easily able to set up appointments to view properties (before the current health crisis happened) and I greatly appreciated only having to pay one application fee in order to view the entire inventory of properties managed by Renter's Warehouse (saving me hundreds of dollars!). Their online portal made filling out the application a breeze and Megan was helpful and informative while showing me properties and walking me through the application and rental processes. In this insane market, finding a new rental was incredibly difficult before I found Renter's Warehouse! Recently, I had an issue with a pest problem, scorpions to be exact. The creepy-crawlers tried to invade my home, but luckily the online portal provided by Renter's Warehouse made placing a request for pest control simple and easy. I was contacted by one of the maintenance staff members within a day, which was surprising, and informed of the next necessary steps. I have to thank Marydel for being kind and compassionate during my crisis (I think I am scorpoion-phobic!) and for following up with me both on the day Terminix came as well as a few days later. Marydel contacted the homeowner for me, informed me of the decision to send Terminix out, and was a go-between when I was unable to meet Terminix at my home, ensuring the property would still be treated for me. Marydel was friendly, thorough, and really made me feel like she cared about me, my son, and my issues. I can't say enough good things about her! I am so glad I chose to rent through Renter's Warehouse, again I have to mention their online portal which provides easy access to a number of important things like maintenance requests, lease information, FAQs and more. I would highly recommend Renter's Warehouse to anyone needing a rental and wanting high quality customer service!

It seems they care more about the tenants then the homeowner. It is impossible to get a hold of someone for questions or concerns. When you do finally talk to someone they are no help what so ever. If repairs need to be done there web of contractors can be expensive though. For example they tried to sell me a base model washer for 1thousand bucks. I ran into a few hiccups along the way in getting moved out and the home prepared for renters, through all of which Jan worked with me. With in a couple of days of the home being ready for renters, Jan had found a nice couple looking to move in. We are now going on the second month of the tenants being in the home. Thus far the experience has been what I was hoping for (someone does most of the work, then I'm asked to look over everything for final approval) . Not only has this made my life easier, but it has helped to get my wife on board with the idea of maintaining our old home as a rental.

I was introduced to Renter's Warehouse by Rae Steele. From the first time I talked to Rae I knew that she was good at what she does and that I would enjoy working with her. She has a great attitude and is very flexible to work with. She was able to get me into a nice house in a very desirable location. Rae is the best. Unfortunately the owners of the property are slow in getting some things squared away such as yard cleanup and garage door opener remotes. Since I was in a hurry to move in I accepted the bad interior paint job and not very clean condition.
