We didn't know if we should even list our house in Old Town Scottsdale last May. We had three Realtors tell us YES! With no renovations, just SELL. Listed with someone we know on that advice. On the first day they wanted us to cut our price. We just took it off the market and I began going to all the open houses in my zip code. Seeing what people were doing and what real estate agents seemed to be interested in my needs as opposed to commission on my house I began renovations shortly thereafter and one agent stood out, but I continued to to "interview" agents. The first day, we had an offer 25,000 over with our requested 60 day post possession. At the end of the next day, we took it. This was 125,000 MORE than the previous agent had us listed at. Our real estate agent, Allie Myers, originally reached out to us after we requested a house viewing on Zillow. To get started we gave her a few homes we had been looking at online, and then she scheduled a meeting to go over some things and show us the houses. In our meeting she went over the entire house buying process and answered all our questions, as well as took down all of our house criteria (size, price, location, etc) so she could help us find the perfect home. She then handed us our house viewing schedule, which listed the details of each house we were going to see, as well as directions on how to get there. While we ended up following her to each house and had GPS just in case we got lost, the fact that she took the time to print out directions and housing details for each viewing just showed us how committed Allie was. Over the next few weeks Allie kept sending us listings that met our criteria, as well as pointed out a specific few that she thought we might like based on how our showings had gone. Anytime we found a listing we'd like to view Allie was on top of it, getting the viewing scheduled ASAP. Really, Allie was on top of it at all times. Whenever we had a question, or found a house we wanted to go see, Allie would respond right away. Once we found the perfect home, Allie helped us construct our offer, and was with us every step of the way. Through the counter offers and negotiations she fought for us and was the reason we got the offer accepted. And even after the offer was accepted she remained 100% committed to helping us close on the house. We knew from our first meeting that we would have to do a home inspection and submit a list of things we wanted repaired, and she got all that taken care of and scheduled, so all we had to do was show up to the house for the inspection. And all the way up until the sale she answered all of our questions immediately, and made the process of purchasing our first home as stress-free as possible. If we had to do it all over again, we would go with Allie Myers and Kelly Cook Real Estate Group 100%. We couldn't be happier.
