I'm going into my 3rd month here and honestly it's one of the best places ever! Kristenia was great at making sure my move-in process was comfortable and easy. She's a doll and always available when I have a question. Maurice; Hakeem; Everyone in the office is upbeat and friendly. Proud Living seems like a good Property Team. They actually just gave us residents Turkey dinners for Thanksgiving. I really like it here! My apartment is neat, clean, and all of the appliances look brand new. I couldn't have wished for a better place. God is Good!

Leasing with Proud Living has been one of the easiest and best decisions i've ever made. Maurice, Jason and Hakeem take care of you like you're family, they always go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. They are always on top of their game and are so personable, it really takes the hassle and worry out of renting. My apartment was just renovated and they did such a beautiful job, it is honestly worth every cent. If I ever have any issues (which is few to none) the supers are so quick to rectify the situation. My favorite thing about the building is the fact that our neighbors are so quiet and I feel extremely safe knowing the building is constantly being monitored. I enjoy how much privacy I have and the fact that I can literally see New York from my building. I 100% recommend Proud Living and their team to anyone who is looking for a place to call home!!!

My experience with ProudLiving has been great on the management aspect of things. Maurice the property manager has always been great on getting back to me or solving any issues I have encountered . He is attentive And he actually cares about his tenants and their safety. He is a very good hearted person. Although this property was not a good fit for me I do want to acknowledge that a good manger does make the place better no matter where it may be.

I moved to 60 S Munn Avenue 2 months ago from Queens NY and I must say I LOVE my experience so far. The staff go out of their way to fix any issues(not that I even have any) and always update you on anything going on in the building via text message. From the moment I signed my lease it felt like someone was giving me a second chance, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. I’m paying half the price for my apt in East Orange versus what I was paying when I was living in Queens and I love every second of it. The neighborhood is not bad at all and I am so grateful Proud Living Communities gave me the opportunity to live in my own apt with my husband and I am no longer struggling. If you are looking for nice prices, nice neighborhood, peace and quiet away from the city and easy access to the city as the East Orange Train Station is a 8 min walk from the complex don’t look any further.

Only been here for two months and the experience has been amazing. Especially with the management/leasing office. Signing papers to making sure I have a easy and safe move in. Very accommodating with everything and always on time with any request. As a flight Attendant, me and my partner always on the go and one thing I could say they always keep us posted on any issues or maintenance being done in the building via text or phone call. 60 S Munn is in a great location. We have plenty of restaurants and stores in walking distance. A bus that takes you to Newark Penn Station and a Train Station within walking distance that takes you directly into New York Penn station. Minutes away from Newark Airport and right near Garden State parkway and Highway 280. Most importantly police station and hospital on the same block. Love this apartment building. Lastly the Staff are Amazing. Maurice, Hakeem, Jason and Jada are good at they job. Thanks

I have been living at 60 S Munn Ave for about 2 years now and I like it a lot. ProudLiving Communities who has taken over is WAY better than the previous management company that was in place before. Maurice, Jason, Hakeem and Jada are the best and I wouldn’t choose anyone else for the team in the building. They are all very professional, really nice and work hard to ensure that you are satisfied. Any issues are taken care of promptly and they really do care. They treat you like family and my daughter adores all of them. They always take the time out to talk and play with her. All around great people and a great company. I give them two thumbs up.

I almost missed out on a great apartment looking at these reviews. I just want to let anyone whose looking at this Property management company know that someone is SALTY AND LYING!! My apartments looks just like what they showed me, it was not old or run down, every thing is brand new! Jason and Maurice were and are very respectful and polite, they ran down everything with me. The studio is a bit small but it’s workable. The area is decent, considering how close I am to everything. I’m glad I didn’t let these bad and deceitful reviews deter me from making this decision.

I had a great experience with them on 107 New Street. My apartment was newly renovated, no bugs or anything. Great response time with repairs. Extremely affordable and my building was 1 minute from the train. I definitely would recommend renting from them, wonderful people, no gimmicks.

60 S Munn has been home for the last 6 months and I'm pleased with the services. The landlord, Maurice, is here during weekday hours and available to discuss concerns and is friendly. The parking garage is under video surveillance with an entrance to the building from the basement. Additionally, the entire building, Including well lit stairwells, has cameras. We were also able to have our little dog here who enjoys the decent sized green grass area on the side of the building that is watered daily. At night you are able to see bits of NYC lights. The super has been very kind and prompt in helping us with our AC and clogged tub. The apartment was recently renovated, the lobby is nearly complete with renovations that include marble flooring. The apartment offers new appliances and flooring (no carpet). Heating is provided during the winter and keeps the room toasty. The water in the shower/tub has a child safety setting to prevent injury but can be adjusted to a hotter setting if requested. Laundry is on site in the basement. The building and neighborhood is quiet. The location is close (within 2-4 blocks) to the train station, police station, library, city hall, health department, post office, and hospital. I really enjoy my home and the neighbor residents have been kind and friendly.

When I first arrived here I was concerned about the area and was it safe to live here. But as time went on I realized that it was safer than the area I moved from. I work in NYC, so I was also concerned about how long would it take to travel from here to Wall Street and the time was 1 hour. From the East Orange Station. I have been here 1year and just signed a new lease. I need to be thankful and count my blessings because it's a decent place to stay and the rent is not bad at all.

Proud Living experience: when Proud Living took over my apartment building in Newark...the quality of life in the building and my apartment improved measurably. I recently had my kitchen and bathroom completely remodeled; now both are brand new and beautiful. Am I satisfied with Proud Living and its management office team and maintenance team? On a scale of 1 to 10? How about a solid 9.27!

Just recently moved into one of their East Orange locations and so far I like my apartment and the area is nice and quiet. However, within the 5 weeks I've lived here, I've experienced no heat at times and now the most recent issue, no hot water. Normally I wouldn't complain about this because I know situations happen but after a week of no hot water, I'm starting to get concerned about if this was the right choice.

I lived in the building before ProudLiving purchased it and it already had its share of issues. But the Property Manager Maurice Hargrove and his team are Awesome. Maintenance sometimes get a little slow on the duties and don't stay committed to a task at hand but once I let him know, he is on it. So if Maurice and Hakeem are the faces of this company, then I can overlook something not getting repaired right away because I know they are doing their jobs and their best to please everyone. Because of them I give ProudLiving 4 stars and a smile.

The building manager Maurice has been nothing short of awesome! Besides being super nice, and welcoming, he is extremely professional! Has helped me out a ton in just the few shorts months I have been there. Whenever I need help with anything, he never hesitates to make it happen quickly and smoothly. He has even just sat and talked with me on a personal/human being level when I was down and feeling frustrated. He is an extremely hard worker and above all a family man. I just moved in 24 south grove street and would recommend this property if your looking for something quiet and very nice area near the highway to easily get to Manhattan:) and Mr Jason, Mr Hakeem and Ms Jada has done everything to make me feel more than welcome. I’m a young girl living alone and I was nervous because it’s my first time living alone but I’m definitely not anymore. They do their best to make you feel at home and when I needed something done to make my move in more comfortable it got done right away. I couldn’t be happier here. The apt looks way better than the pics and way bigger than you expect tbh. The neighborhood is safe and very quiet. There are a lot of cameras on every floor and the security is very good:) And everyone I just named above that works here does their best to make sure you are as comfortable as possible :) also great for ppl who have small pets and doesn’t drive like me because there are so many stores(grocery, quick bites, etc) I love it here and if you have a dog there is a dog groomer(his name is angel and will come to your apt to personally groom your pooch)and his bf is a dog trainer that will also come to your place. I already started using angel to groom my baby and he’s great. I love it here :) I high recommend 24 south grove:)

I currently live at 60 South Munn Ave in East Orange, NJ, and I absolutely love this building. The building, aside from the current construction being done, has been safe, clean and welcoming to come home to. I work in Manhattan where I’m surrounded by total “controlled” chaos, and it’s comforting to know that I’m coming home to a building and a neighborhood that’s quiet, peaceful and safe. You feel a sense of warmth when you’re on your way home. Special thanks to the management crew, especially Jason, Maurice, Bryce and Sergio - they’ve all gone over and beyond their call of duty to assist whenever I needed their help. I strongly recommend anyone to live in this building and this neighborhood. You will not be disappointment.

I loved the apartment and all the amenities that it has to offer however I am not pleased with the full disclosure. I was under the price would be one thing however when I came in ready to put a security deposit I was told that the price was higher than I expected. The staff was very pleasant however in the future they should communicate with potential tenants on what the true cost really is. I was not aware that the initial price I agreed to was only a promotional period.

hey guys so proud living is not a bad building,maurice does what he can to get things done and he does allow you to be late on rent sometimes..thank you.. however when I moved in I was made aware of renovations and told that everything would be done by jan..its now April..the elevators work.however we have a intercom system that can't use because the front is out of service and the water is not always hot(which is normal for this side of town). I probably will not be renewing my lease with proud living this year just because I feel like the rent is way too high for what we are not getting. The apartments are not 1450 and It is not right to charge that rent amount for a building that is not done. It is overpriced and knowing what I know now..I probably would not have signed my lease...there are buildings in the area that are far more affordable and look the same way the apartments on Munn do. I personally like I've been paying for the renovations myself.

My fiancé and I are currently renting an apartment that’s under Proudliving LLC since July. Due to our business and my full time job in NY, we both come home during daytime by 4am to sleep and repeat the routine all over again. We spoke with the apartment supper about our problem with the leaking faucet by bathroom since December 2018. It does not completely turn off. Eventually our window pane by the master bedroom collapse and the living room near the fridge was place by default was leaking water. They have an “ONLINE MAINTENANCE REQUEST” that seems to be useless. We are good tenants, pay rent online, never blasts music or create noise, no parties nor pets destroying the property. The advantage about living here is the convenience on NJ transit. Otherwise, I will leave as soon as lease is almost up. UPDATED REVIEW 2/14/19 My new review will be in reference to the measures taken by property. The property director, Maurice, reached out and taken measures to expedite the process of maintenance repairs. The workers are very efficient. I am very satisfied.

ProudLiving is the new management company for the building that I live in. The changes that they are making are good. They openly communicate with tenants who seek their assistance. A lot of individuals are upset because of the changes but I welcome them. I don’t even know the management from the previous owners only communicated via text to ensure that deposits were paid. I’ve been living at 60 South Munn for about two months now. The building itself isn’t in the best shape, but I do understand that it’s under construction, and I like how it’s coming along. I appreciate that maintenance is on top of any orders I put in and the management team has been super courteous. The area itself isn’t too bad, which that was one of my worries. My only problem is the constant ambulance sirens.

I went to look at this property today 60 S Munn. I honestly like the building only issue is the sizes for the room. It’s it’s over priced. Apartments should be cheaper for the size. But I truthfully love the security cameras, security and cooking gas included. Sold me. 24 S Grove is bigger but the price should be cheaper because it doesn’t come with any amenities and the elevator is very small. Either way Jason was respectful and understanding for my fiancé and I needs and wants.

This is by far the worst company you can have!! They are liars and manipulators!! I would not deal with this company please find another company as they are crooks.. I turned in an apartment in excellent conditions and they lied and said I turned it in filthy to keep some of my security deposit.. Today I was giving my full security deposit back because there was some misunderstanding and But I was able to reach out and get my security back.
