I wanted an apartment with flexible rent period and finding an apartment in September for a flexible rent period was brutal at Boston but June Homes catered to my requirements with an affordable rent price. Every maintenance request was fulfilled immediately the next day and I never faced any issues with the apartment. I am very satisfied with the experience

In September 2022, I started my exchange semester in Boston. Being French, it was quite complicated to find remote and reliable accommodation. June Homes was present from A to Z in my steps. I often had them on the phone and I also had a video call with them so they could explain to me how their accommodation works - that reassured me a lot. Once there, everything went very well, the apartment was as in the pictures; very modern and very comfortable! I put some pictures of my room, the house and the kitchen. I also wanted to say that as soon as I contact them, they were always present and responsive! Regarding the kitchen area, it is very well fitted out and equipped! It was a pleasure to meet up with my roommates to cook together! The fridge is big enough and having a washer and dryer was very handy. Thank you to June Homes and its teams for this wonderful experience!

I had a great experience with June Homes. I am in the process of moving around quite a bit to test different areas where I might want to live and June Homes made it so easy to find a furnished apartment right in the heart of Manhattan. The renter portal is super easy to use and allows you to message staff and see all of the details of your stay. Not only was the booking process easy, but the staff were very quick to respond to anything that I needed, including a brand new coffee table and lighting fixture. The apartment was furnished really beautifully with almost all new furniture, a comfy bed (and super soft sheets!), and good appliances. They definitely made good use of the quintessential small New York space. I'll be returning to New York soon and will definitely be considering June Homes as my first choice for another medium-term length apartment stay and hopefully long-term as well in the future.

June Homes is great for people who are looking for a place with a flexible lease. Initially what drew me in to June Homes is its month-to-month lease, since I wasn't sure if I would get along with the roommates. But I can say that my experience has been positive. I signed up for 6 months initially, but I ended up extending it to a year because the place was exactly as advertised and the roommates were nice. I also really like the support system they have. Whenever an issue arose, all we had to do is submit a ticket through the portal and it was resolved quickly and smoothly. From my experience, I would definitely recommend it to others!

My experience was wonderful and I’m very appreciative for the people whom I’ve met during my time at june homes here in Boston. I really appreciated how prompt everyone was in delivering an exceptional service during my stay. I simply believe that looking at only pictures and the descriptions listed online distorted my original expectations. Which is fine because that means I made too many assumptions on my end and I didn’t ask enough questions! My best advice when staying in a june home in any location is to ask for help from your home manager and customer service. They work tirelessly to make you happy and process whatever you need fixed in a timely manner. I’ve met life long friends here as well as great neighbors and I’m excited to recommend my friends who are moving to new cities on a short time span with your service. Shoutouts to Nicolas for trying his absolute hardest in finding me a new place to live outside of june homes. He didn’t have to go the extra mile here especially since I was leaving once my lease expired. That appreciation will never go unnoticed.

I can only recommend staying in a JuneHomes managed apartment. The staff was very responsive and the communication worked great from the beginning of the application and throughout my stay. All questions were answered right away and issues were resolved immediately. The cleaning service also did a awesome job with keeping all public spaces (bath, kitchen, living, hallway) clean and tidy. I had a very good time together with my roommates.

I stayed in a June homes apartment in Boston. This was a very pleasant stay. The apartment was regularly cleaned and very tidy. It was fully furnished, which was useful for a stay of only two months. June Homes is probably the best way to rent in New York. They provided flexible lease. So, I do not need to worry about finding sublets after my stay to cover of my lease duration. The process is extremely fast. Completed everything from finding apartments to signing the lease within a week. The staff is also courteous in responding to my queries as quickly as possible. They regularly clean the common area. This was definitely a chore in my previous apartment and I definitely was not good at it. The common area are also aesthetically pleasing. Also, they manage the utilites as well. So, no need to get one on your own. Basically, I would say you do not need to worry about anything. June Homes takes care of everything. You just pay the rent and enjoy staying.

Location of the Apartment is Near my work place, few blocks away from the bus stop and train station which made it very convenient. The apartment has almost everything i need so i didn’t need to spend much to buy furnitures. Though it is 4 floors flight up, it would have been perfect if it has elevator. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and the junehomes team are very helpful and friendly.

June Homes provides a quick and convenient service for renters like me trying to navigate the increasingly expensive, often complicated and competitive housing market of Boston. Plus, no brokers' fee. We didn't do an in person tour of the room before moving in, but our room and other shared spaces in the apartment were clean and neat. Our roommates were respectful and nice people. Throughout our stay, the staff were quick to respond and rectify issues in the apartment. It was an enjoyable renting experience.

I signed up for a queen sized room and it’s very spacious and comfortable. My roommates are great and overall it has been a great experience. If there are any issues, you can raise a ticket on the June homes app and the property manager will look into it. Great service.

June homes is a great affordable place if you don’t mind having roomies. I used June homes due to me being a travel nurse. In traveling for 3 months you want to make sure you choose a place that can feel like home. This was the place The rooms are spacious and you have your own bathrooms . They aren’t shared. You only share the kitchen living room and dining area . It’s a great stay for short term and long term . I will definitely be looking for other June home locations . They are available in a few other states. So look them up S.McClain

I had a fantastic experience with June homes! It was exactly what I needed moving across the country from California to DC. I only brought two suitcases with me, everything else I needed was provided by June homes. The house was beautifully furnished, kitchen was fully stocked, and you get frequent deliveries of toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies. I’m a very clean person so I was a but hesitant at first about moving in with roommates I’ve never met and not knowing their cleaning habits, but the company also provided monthly cleaning services so I pretty much worried for nothing. I want to highlight how quick and easy the lease sign process was, which was super helpful when looking for housing virtually. Also the june homes staff were all so nice and professional, any inquiry I made got a quick response. TLDR: I recommend June homes, especially if you need to move on short notice or are looking for a place that’s full furnished.

June Homes is great for the short-term game. I stayed with them for 36 days, and although you can get a better rate the longer you stay, they were more than satisfactory for what I was looking for. Staying with June Homes allowed me to navigate the rental market and all the neighborhoods, and thus, allowed me to find and secure my longterm rental. I would use June Homes again if I were to ever move to a new city.

If you want a hassle-free move in / move out process, with responsive customer service and relatively affordable prices*, then consider June Homes the next time you move. They have options in several cities throughout the US ranging from houses, apartments to single rooms. My place in DC was in a very convenient (close to restaurants and train station) and historic district. In terms of location, it was excellent. I consider myself very lucky in that my roommates were amazing. One even reached out to me before I arrived to facilitate my move. My other roommate was helpful in answering whatever questions I had. There are some aspects of June Homes that can be improved such as the cleaning service, supplies and communication on staff changes / service. I never confirmed but I believe we paid $150 per person monthly for the cleaning service and supplies. The overall cleanliness was average. I understand our individual rooms are our responsibility but the common areas were not attended to properly. I must mention that the cleaning personnel changed during my stay at the property and I do not recall being informed. I remember being startled when I bumped into the new person one morning as I was leaving for work. I will admit that normally, communication through the app is frequent. Overall, for the price I paid, the roommates I had, the ease of moving in and moving out and the location of the property, I recommend June Homes to those in the DC area. I must forewarn you that you will likely encounter issues (such as cleanliness and aging properties) so managing expectations is the best way to approach June Homes. * do note that my rent was earlier in 2022 and rentals were still recovering from pandemic shutdown. Demand was relatively low. I presume that prices increased during the mid-year housing boom along with higher demands.

The JuneHomes platform is very easy to use, has many options in great locations and a fast booking process. The team acts fast, polite and solution-oriented. What I liked most is that you can pay on a per-day basis when you want to leave in the middle of the month for example. Can definitely recommend!

Rented as a travel nurse on a 3 month assignment. Nicely redone historic apartment. High ceilings, wood floors. 4 bedrooms sharing one bath. Street parking in Roxbury. Prompt customer service. Less expensive then staying in a hotel. Had I extended my work contract for two months and I’d stayed in the apartment my rent would have doubled. If you can commit to exactly how long you’ll be there in the beginning much less expensive.

I got my first apartment in Brookyln through June homes and I am extremely happy with the deal, and customer service. I've been living here for a few months now and I have not had any issues with the team responding to any request I had upon moving in as well as resolving any minor fixes after moving in. And the apartment was extremely well-kept with nice floors and finishes- the kind of apartment I wish I could buy! I use to rent through a company called Bungalow and had a bad experience with them from poor communication to portal/app issues and more- but June homes has been the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I feel extremely lucky renting this apartment under June where wifi is already set up and my renters portal is easy access as well as the nutility app. And I love the community and my neighbors!

I did my semester abroad in Boston and had to look for an apartment beforehand. It is very difficult to find something in Boston that is close to the university, rentable for half a year, affordable and furnished. Junehomes is very convenient because it has many houses that you can rent for a flexible period of time. However, it is overpriced and the price you see on the website is not the final price you will pay. There are 109 USD utility costs on top of that, for which you used to get supplies like toilet paper, but that has been abolished (you theoretically get reimbursed for the purchase), but you still have to pay the utilities. For furniture you pay 275 USD a month more. Also, the washing machines and the dryers are coin-based. My housemates are very nice, and I was lucky with my apartment. However, I have heard of my friends that they sometimes have 6 housemates (that is indicated on the webpage), and the apartment was not in the newest condition which is maybe a general issue in the US. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience and especially with my housemates!

During different times, I lived in two June Homes apartments in Manhattan and had the best experiences! June Homes representatives are very kind and accommodating and their service is fast! Whenever I would submit a maintenance ticket, I would generally hear back in hours and the situation would be resolved in a couple days. Great overall experience! I relocated to Boston and found June Homes as I was waiting for my friend's lease to end. The apartment ended up being extremely affordable given Boston's crazy rent! The apartment ended up being fully furnished as well as the amenities made things even easier with the move. They provided toilet paper, paper towel, all the soap needs and even had a cleaner come in once every two weeks! Highly recommend this place!

I was a Travel nurse working at a nearby hospital. June homes was the perfect fit as it was affordable and very spacious, especially for its location. Each private room has its own bathroom and the fact that it’s furnished makes it perfect for a traveler. I was lucky to have amazing roommates to share the building with, and even so you have your room to retreat to to relax and unwind. June homes is there to answer any questions or help with any issues. Only suggestion I have is maybe bigger TVs? Cheers!

I only opened 1 ticket with Support and it was resolved within 1-2 on a weekend. Overall, it was a great short term rental solution for me!

I was very excited with my very first trip to NYC and June made it even easier for me. The home was cozy and warm! Despite of having a not so well maintained common areas of the building, I would say that for NYC standards the apartment itself was both vintage and modern. I would personally add a few more furniture or decoration but I guess they have their own way of designing. Heads up!! The city is full of rats and it seems that this is how big states like NYC is!!! Thankfully there were none in the apartment but I realized they were everywhere outside all buildings due to trash around the city. Bottom line, nice apartment, cool support and an easy move in process. Thanks June team!!!

The rent was reasonable and the furnishing adequate for one or two people. After my stay, I wrote an email about a few concerns and suggestions such as additional kitchen items, missing parts of the drains, getting through to customer service, etc.. It's a good value for people who are traveling or are new to a city that they have properties in and don't want to pay for an entire apartment. There were some issues with the utilities which took a while to get resolved because the building was pretty old but overall they were good on fixing those issues. So, we decided to go with June Homes because they had better reviews. That was a great decision, we've been thrilled with June. There was an issue with our house right after we arrived where a pipe broke and dripped through the basement ceiling causing a lot of damage. We hadn't caused the damage but we were nervous about our security deposit. June couldn't have handled it better. We weren't charged for the damage once we explained that it wasn't our fault, and they fixed the problem within just days. - They have a great, easy-to-use app - The house is very beautiful, large, and reasonably priced compared to other places in NYC (we stayed in Harlem in a brownstone) - Huge furnished basement and laundry room - Very well-stocked with supplies, rooms, and more - Weekly cleaning - SUPER responsive and helpful - Easy, online payments After having stayed and dealt with a few different colivings, June has been one of the best. I moved to NYC with no furniture and no plans, June Homes was perfect for me because of how flexible they are with lease terms and how many furnished apartments they have for leasing all over the city. Moving in was the easiest process with June Homes -- it's a lot more convenient than going through the painful process with a traditional landlord. Their customer service could use some work as they may take a few days to get back to tenants after putting in a request but they have always delivered in the end. I would totally recommend June Homes to someone who is looking to move to a city like New York but doesn't want to commit to a full year lease (and also when you don't have any furniture).

Impressed is an understatement! I randomly came across June Homes while trying to find temporary housing in Boston for a job. Customer service was very attentive and quick to respond, the entire application/lease signing process was so easy. The (shared) apartment was always kept very clean by the company and I felt safe living with the other roommates thanks to JH doing background checks. Anytime we had a problem (which was always minor yet rare), customer service was prompt to respond and fix it. When my job was finished sooner than planned, June Homes worked quick to find a replacement and I was able to get a refund on the rest of my agreement. I am so happy with my stay and hope to rent from them again in the future. If you’re debating on booking with them, DO IT! :)

On top of that, they lied about times that they would get back to me by email, putting me under pressure to make decisions I needed more time to make. Update (+2 stars): After a week of hustle, I've decided to terminate my lease agreement with them. The process was rather smooth, although I did have to pay for the first month rent and the security deposit. I think the company has great potential, and the people are really nice, I guess I just don't have good luck this time around. I just moved into my new apartment today, it looks nothing like the photos. All common areas are so disgusting, the bathrooms, the kitchen, and the living room! It's not okay in a normal situation, let alone it's COVID-19 time....I know this is more of a roommate problem, but I thought June Homes help clean the common areas every two weeks? Also, I did not get inform that there will be a large dog living in the shared apartment. I love dogs, but large dog in a tiny shared apartment is not something I signed up for...I am debating between breaking the contract, giving up my deposit, or giving June Homes other properties another try...this is just really disappointing.

Edit: I'm revisiting this review and updating the stars to 3 because they have since followed up and have been informed that they have undergone training and our are now top of such requests which are addressed within 24-48 hours. -- I've been waiting on a response for them for weeks as I need them to complete a rental verification form so I can lease a new apartment. It begs the question of whether they are intentionally delaying this process that I have expressed is urgent and necessary to me securing housing. They send service members and representatives into the house unannounced. They've cycled out management for their lack of attentiveness. All I want at this point is a one page document to be responded to after weeks of calling, emailing, and messaging so that I have somewhere to live. And the deposit that I have yet to receive back.

I CANNOT say enough about June Homes. I was in a Boston, MA location. The standards of the homes were fantastic!! The support was unending. The entire process leading up to the rental was clear, concise and someone walked me through each step with additional follow-ups provided. There was a bit of a mix-up with my move-in day because I was given access to the wrong home and I could not get into my home. But, once I was in the correct location, everything was great. House members were considerate and no issues with noise at all. I'm a professional and wanted to come back to my room to rest each night. My room was the perfect setting for that. Due to COVID-19 our offices in Boston, MA have remained closed and will not reopen until 2021. As a result, I had to leave. The Property Manager, Chris, was absolutely amazing!! He actually packed up my room and shipped all my belongings to me. He did NOT have to do this. He chose to. This type of spectacular service and quality is what you can expect from June Homes. Once things settle down and our offices reopen in the new year, I will certainly be back to a June Homes property. Thank you so much to Nick and Chris. You have been nothing shy of wonderful!!
