Being it is my first experience buying, she made sure everything was laid out for me to understand and she had genuine excitement for my situation. I have only had a brief experience with this company. My wife and I were approved for a rental home that Mauzy properties manages. I had a positive experience through the application, approval and tour process. Unfortunately, us moving into the home was contingent on another couple (unrelated to Mauzy) taking over our current apartment lease. They backed out of taking over our lease after we had already paid the deposit on the home. Jill, a manager at Mauzy has been accommodating and willing to work with my wife and I on our deposit situation despite my lack of attention to the fine print of the application process. I don’t have anything negative to say but one thing I have certainly learned is always read the fine print of any application and contract. I thought I had but I missed a key piece of it. Jill, I appreciate the kindness and professionalism you have shown my wife and I as we navigate through our next steps.

Larry was so kind and respectful, even worked in a way where it didn't feel super awkward and uncomfortable. We unfortunately had a funeral to attend but felt completely safe leaving the house in his hands. He did a wonderful job getting our blinds put in and is just good in general. A+ for you Larry!

I've rented from a lot of horrible rental companies in the past, so I went into renting with Mauzy expecting a similar experience. However, they have far exceeded my expectations. I've worked closely with Lauren (our property manager) on a number of issues, and she has always ensured our satisfaction and been willing to request reimbursements from the landlord when problems aren't solved in a timely manner. We've had a few problems that haven't been resolved as quickly as we would have liked for them to be, but that's kind of the nature of renting, and Lauren & the Mauzy team has worked to make sure that we are compensated for any unresolved issues. Overall, I would highly recommend renting with Mauzy, and if you run into a longer than ideal wait time on a fix, just reach back out! They're super responsive and willing to work with you to make sure you are comfortable in your home! Even if I don't resign my current lease, I will definitely seek out another Mauzy property because of my great experience with them.

The thing that made this experience a wonderful one was dealing with Jill from Mauzy Properties. During our search, we dealt with bad or incorrect listings, lazy agents, and flat out scams. But Jill, and subsequently Megan, from Mauzy have been professional, timely, and informative. All while being very pleasant and friendly. I've been impressed by the expertise and responsiveness provided by Michael Getty - he is a realtor and leasing agent that gives guidance on leasing strategies, market rent rates, and offers helpful ideas about improvements tenants will appreciate. As a property manager, Sherlyn Robles has been extremely professional, communicative and responsive to property maintenance needs and issues. She's also skilled at working with vendors and tenants to schedule and coordinate services as needed, and known for follow-through. Chris Mauzy and his team go above and beyond to take care of your property management needs and they are incredibly supportive when unforeseen issues like freeze damage take place (e.g. mitigating the damage and expediting repairs). Their online landlord and tenant platform is user-friendly and provides all the communication tools, document storage, and financial reporting needed. They are a top-notch shop and I would highly recommend them!

5 stars for Nina. We had another property manager for years that was awful to say the least (let us be without power for days, suggested we got a discount on our dog rent because out dog would die etc). We have seen a drastic change when Nina took over our property. She is compassionate and prompt, keeps us in the loop when working on ongoing issues. We have been at the Bates property for about 4 years and have been so pleased with Nina. Other than the old property manager we have had overall positive experiences with the rest of the staff there as well. So glad Nina took over.

I have rented a Mauzy-managed property for over a year. I am actually in property management, so I have a particularly critical eye, but my experience overall has been a very positive one! Our specific manager Nina is always just a quick text away, and their service technician Garrett was thorough in his work, cleaned up any mess and even called to go through what he'd accomplished...a rare trait! The only thing keeping this review from 5-stars is that it can sometimes take a while for work orders to get completed, but that's more an issue of staffing than service. When your fix is a big ticket issue it tends to take longer, but general stuff tends to get done in under a week. Don't let this deter you from working with Mauzy. I'll update my review once my family has moved on, but in the meantime, we signed on for our second year without hesitation!

I have worked with many property management companies over the years as a renter, and Mauzy Properties by far has been the most professional and responsive. Anybody can offer service with a smile, and they do that well, but it’s in the face of adversity where this organization shines. Any time I have had an issue (and older homes are all bound to), the staff is immediately up to the task using a triage approach to remedy. The contractors they utilize are all friendly, professional, skilled, and thorough as well. Stellar team!

Excellent customer service...friendly, attentive, responsive, professional. Much better than Renters Warehouse in my opinion. Be sure to take really good care of house inside and out. We ran into a few issues with security deposit but they were very willing to work with us when we reached out. Specifically Jill Cook and Megan Kissinger-- they went above and beyond. *Note for our specific situation: Mauzy came in halfway through our lease from another rental agency so they were not able to do their routine initial inspection. I doubt we would have any issues if we had Mauzy from start to finish!

We've had good experiences with our rental company, Mauzy. Most recently we requested a fix for a minor electrical issue in the house. Nina was quick to respond and scheduled a technician to come out within a day or two. Our technician was Carlos, who easily identified the issue with the outlet, and got it switched over to a new one, making sure the color matched (which I very much appreciated). He was very nice, quick, and efficient. Problem fixed. I also liked that I got a notification on my phone when Carlos was on his way, and it told me exactly how many minutes away he was. And he showed up exactly when my message said he would. Nice feature! The message also included a picture of Carlos, which was great thing so I know I'm not letting a random person in my house. 🙂 Nina checked in the next day to make sure everything is now working properly and to assure us that she's there to help should we need anything else.

I have been working with Mauzy Properties and specifically with Ethan to manage my two duplexes in Saint Paul. Ethan has done a phenomenal job taking over the management. I had two vacancies when he took over and Ethan was able to find two quality tenants in a very timely manner. He is always very responsive and will usually respond to any questions you may have within half an hour via email. He thinks long term and will give you his advice on what you should do to get the best tenants and also how to retain them for the long run. Mauzy Properties is a wonderful management company and Ethan is just one example of why I will be letting them keep my business for a very long time.

Nina Jones was exceptional on my request for my oven not working! She messaged me in a very timely manner and we were able to set up an appointment during the morning! She was very thorough and was interested in my experience as a tenant which makes me feel very welcome here. I will rate Nina 5 stars, but the reason I set it as 4 is because the apartment itself is...lack luster. My walls are adorned with holes from the previous tenant, the parking lot is quite poor, and even tho l sent a request months ago, before Nina was there, for the neighbors being too loud and keeping me awake as I work a night shift (4am-1230pm), as soon as I expressed distress in that manner she assured me the issue would be resolved! I hope that is so, Nina has been exceptional during my time of need and has made my living situation much better due to her quick and accurate responses for my appointment. My oven is working as of Tuesday and that's all I can ask for. Nina did such a great job and I would love for you to hire people like her. She spoke to me as a human, not a customer and I very much appreciate that, give her a raise! The customer service here, thanks to Nina, is amazing, I am very happy that I can once again use my oven thanks to the maintenance man and her. She's amazinggg!!!

We had a great experience with maintenance after moving in. There were at least 10 issues left from the previous tenant such as a clogged drain and loose door that we wanted to get fixed. We put in a request and Ivan M. came to our home and fixed pretty much everything he possibly could. He was easy to communicate with and did great work.

You won’t be disappointed. EDIT: Mauzy continues to be a wonderful company to rent with. Great and friendly staffs, I submitted a request to replace the carbon monoxide alarm, Nina responds right away and sent out Ivan M. (the technician) the next day. He helped replacing the alarm as well as fixing some minor stuff that I did not even submit the ticket for (ex: the coat hanger fell, Ivan helped putting it back without me asking for help). He arrived on time and performed the service that I requested. It was a great experience.

Britta, Calvin, Merissa, Michael, and Nina have all helped me out while I've been living here. They're all extremely nice and courteous. Britta and Merissa email me and keep me up to date on the construction/parking lot closures and they're both fantastic! Very nice to talk to and are on the ball with helping out with any issues in a super quick manner. Calvin and Nina do the repairs and they're both similarly amazing! Nina is our new property manager and the customer service has been amazing. Maintenance issues are addressed promptly and she even suggested a quick fix for an appliance that we could try ourselves. It took about 30 seconds, the issue was resolved, and we didn't have to have someone come into our apartment. She sent us the directions to try (with assurances that we could have someone come out if it didn't work) and then followed up the next day with a text to see if it was resolved. We're new tenants and this was our second need to contact Mauzy about a maintenance issue in two months -- they've both been minor and both have been resolved quickly and professionally. Definitely recommend!

Requested service for a heating issue. Nina's response and follow up was quick and helpful! Ivan responded to the service request today. What an unexpected positive experience. I had the day off so I was here when he knocked on the door. The heating issue was resolved within 30 minutes. He also made a helpful call to address an appliance issue, following up on a separate request for service. I made a review about 2 years ago about the total overall quality of these professionals. After 2 years of living in their property and now going on 3, I can safely say and update that out of my 15 years of renting experience. Mauzy has gone above and beyond. I had to resign my lease 1 month into the pandemic and they were extremely comunicative and took the time to make it an easy and smooth process. Phenomenal all around. It's rare to have landlords look out for the tenant and they have done just that.

Our experience with Mauzy has been great! Very easy and hassle free. Everything is done online. Any time there is an issue, you just submit a form and Nina will get back to you pretty quickly to set up a time and date. They don't make you feel bad for reporting things or make you feel like it is your fault. They understand things break, and they come out and visit it promptly! Only frustrating things are the quarterly inspections, which make it difficult for us since we work all the time and we have dogs and need to be home when they come. Nina has been great and very accommodating to us though. Love the house we live in!

REAL REVIEW FROM A REAL PERSON; My name is nicole. my husband and i knew about Mauzy as a company because my brother works here i believe as a inspector ? and my sister Nina worked in the office up until a few weeks ago. we made the hard decision to rent out our house as financial hardships arose for us. with that we used this company because it came highly praised by my siblings. our home is a 5bd 2 bath in northfield. from the beginning we dealt with ethan. ethan was nothing but kind and helpful. always quick to respond to us even on weekends. ethan was very upfront about pricing the property correctly. i was told about property management services and tenant placement. i have opted in for both. mauzy did a great job finding us tenants. lauren is our property manager and is also extremely responsive not only to us as the owner but to the tenants as well. i see a few negative reviews or reviews where people say the positive ones aren't real which is false. i am completely real and have had a wonderful experience with this company as a owner. mauzy gave me an extensive list of move in requirements for me to do as an owner. i can tell you the home was very clean and move in ready for the tenants. the home was inspected by mauzy and thoroughly documented with notes and photos.(lots of them). i personally had to go back and add privacy film to a window in the basement bathroom. but they were so nice about it and explaining why it needed done. the tenants made a request regarding a misunderstanding and i got in touch with the owner chris. even on a weekend. he was extremely informative and polite and helpful. i appericiate everyone at this company ive dealt with so far. i hope anyone reading this takes my review into consideration when looking for a rental or property management. because they are great!! thank you Chris Lauren Ethan & Larry Jones for all the work your doing !

There must not be much of an inspection done by Mauzy Properties before moving tenants into a home because we had a laundry list of items on the first day...most importantly the AC was not working at all and either was the garage door along with numerous other items. Many of the agreements in the rental contract weren’t in order when we occupied the home, such as salt in the water softener, weeds maintained in the flower beds, furnace filter had obviously not been changed in a very long time, etc... On another note, their maintenance workers have been very courteous and have worked hard to get the house to where it should’ve been prior to us moving in. John and Calvin have done a great job.

They are very quick to respond to maintenance concerns. Same day service for emergency repairs and flexible scheduling for non emergencies. It's too bad they don't have a weekend maintenance team, it seems like they are squeezing a lot into their weekdays. They don't ever complain, but their schedules are obviously full at times. Also non emergencies can be a big hassle when left to finish after the weekend. Great office staff! Knowledgeable team.

I would highly recommend renting from a company with this level of support staff and resources - any issues we ran into were solved extremely quickly by professionals. A unique benefit of renting with Mauzy is that they also have a real estate side of the business, and they will give you some relief on leaving your lease early if you use them as your buyer's realtor - this ended up being perfect for us as we had their realtor Michael Getty (who also gets 5 out 5 stars) help us buy our current home. If you're thinking of buying a house any time in the next 1-3 years and want that timing flexibility while you rent, this is the way to go. We got to shop for a house in a low-stress environment where our lease wasn't going away until we wanted it to after finalizing our purchase. In today's market you don't want to be shopping in a tight window at the end of your lease. Lastly, on the terms of the lease / security deposits: when you receive the rental agreement, it's so thorough that it looks a little overwhelming, but you should consider that a positive thing - Mauzy has high standards for their tenants keeping the properties they manage in good condition but they also hold themselves to those high standards to keep up their responsibilities too. If you're a responsible person you will not have a single issue renting with them - ignore those reviews from people who ignored the rules and didn't like the consequences. Most importantly: when we left, we cleaned the house thoroughly according to the check-out list and got our full deposit back!
