My husband and I have bought twice and sold twice with Trelora, and we continue to highly recommend Trelora to our friends and family. Some of the things that we really liked in our most recent purchase and sale: - the team is incredibly responsive. When we have a question or issue, it's very quick to contact them via phone, text or email. If our primary agent is unavailable, there are a number of other folks that can jump in to help. - the team was persistent. By the time we successfully purchased our house, we had viewed 102 properties and made 12 offers. It was a very tough housing market, but Trelora stuck with us. - we could make more competitive offers with Trelora. We were saving more than 50% on the real estate commission, and we could put all that money right into our offer. Overall, we recommend Trelora!

I had a great experience selling my Evergreen condo with Trelora. I was especially impressed with the staging advice and pricing advice the agency provided. There were still the same stressors of having to manage inspection issues as with any sale, but it was clear that the agency has a lot of experience selling homes and expertise. We chose Trelora because of the commission structure but I was very pleased with the caliber of the services they provided.

I worked with Anna and Faith and their team at Trelora and have nothing but great things to say. In a very competitive market they were able to help me secure a house in Denver in three weeks just before my deadline. They were extremely responsive, communicative, professional and offered great advice/guidance along the way. I'm honestly not sure why anyone would not go with Trelora. The 50% commission split (up to 6k) is a fantastic deal. I also liked their business model that is much different from your typical realtor agency. The agents only work with you on contract negotiations and do not actually go to the showings with you, I liked that the home showings were made with showing agents who typically had no interest in you buying the home (and so showed it to you as it is without pressuring you to buy it or making it seem nicer than it was). Trelora is changing the real estate industry and helping buyers literally save thousands, a no brainer to go with them. The one hesitation I had about them was if, in a very competitive Denver market, I would be at a disadvantage with a team that did not work "24/7." This ended up being no problem at all as Anna and Faith were still always responsive and built great rapport with the selling agents. Highly recommend them and their team, great experience all around.

I have worked in the real estate tech space for many years here in Colorado. When I recently returned to the Denver metro area, I really took my time in deciding which company I should work with when buying my home. I knew of all the players pretty well from my time working in the industry and ultimately decided to work with Trelora. Over the years, Trelora has made incredible progress in their service offering. In addition to their buyer rebate, (which was initially why I started working with them) their service and response times were better than the vast majority of brokerages I have worked with. Raphael was our agent and his team was wonderful. They were available 7 days a week and we were able to see homes on very short notice as well as make offers quickly. There were never any high pressure sales with Trelora and they never once asked us to sign a contract commitment with them like you get with other brokerages. As someone who has worked in this space as a competitor for many years, I would highly recommend Trelora when buying a home. My personal experience with them as a customer has been stellar.

It has been our pleasure to have worked with Treora on three separate real estate transactions where Trelora represented us as the seller. One time was through the Denver office, and twice through the Phoenix/Scottsdale office. We are giving a 10 out of 10. On each occasion, we were extremely impressed with their assessment of the property we were selling, and came in with very accurate values for the list price. They properly marketed the properties and were successful in getting immediate viewings once the properties were on the market. In all three cases, we had contracts within 1 week with the exception of one property, it was 2 weeks. These properties ranged in list price from $475,000 through $1,575,000. I am a licensed real estate agent, and rather than selling the property as an owner-agent, I have found it easier to work with Trelora. It is a lot of work marketing the property, and for the reasonably priced seller’s agent fees, it makes more sense for us to work with Trelora. This also reduces some potential liability for me as an agent in Arizona, as Trelora is the buyer agent rather than myself. For the Phoenix listings, we have been impressed with Brock Embree and the entire Trelora team. They are very responsive and generally proactive. We definitely would use Trelora again on future properties where they serve. We are extremely happy with the past services and encourage others to look at Trelora when selling a property. This was our first time using Trelora. We have bought and sold a number of homes using traditional real estate agents. Trelora has left a great impression on us. In a market like this, communication and timeliness is of the essence. Our field agent, Steve Zimmerer, was a great listener, honest and understood what we were looking for. When he wasn't available, he made sure someone (another team member/field agent) was there to show us properties on the weekends so we never had to miss out due to scheduling conflicts. In addition it seems he made sure that person was up to date on our focus and as a result our interactions were never awkward. It was as if you're meeting a family member who's already heard all about you. As we drew closer to closing on our house, communications shifted to another handler, Raphael. I had a whole team working for me through the entire process. I paid 2.8 percent to the buyers agent to assure the house would be shown and only a flat fee of $2,500.00 to Trelora. This saved me over $14,000.00 and I felt that I received much better service than if I gone through one of the big real estate agencies. I recommend using them for both selling and buying property. Trelora exceeded my expectations! We put our house on the market after living there for 18 years. Our house was unique, and very well taken care of. If I was going to sell, I had specific parameters. I wanted top dollar, a quick sale and I didn't want to pay an exorbitant commission fee to get it done. In the end, the house was listed for 4 days with 12 showings and 7 offers. The one we picked was above asking price and we stayed in the house 45 days while our other one was built. In addition, we paid half the closing costs of their competitors! Bottom line, If you're in the Denver market they are a dream to work with. Timely, professional and will save you money and stress.

2/15/2021: Chalk up another success story! This time, we sold our home in Fort Collins and got an offer above asking price within 5 hours. Our all-star agent Steven also helped us negotiate a favorable post closing occupancy agreement so we can stay in the home until we're ready to move. As has always been our experience, Trelora was on top of everything, communication was outstanding, and the transaction was as smooth as could be. They also ran some numbers that showed we had saved over $100k by using Trelora over the past 5 years - our only regret is that we're moving to a market where Trelora doesn't have a presence... yet! Big thanks to the Trelora team for all the help over the years. 4/8/2020: And yet another successful deal with Trelora! This time, having used them as our buyer's agent on a new build, we were able to get into our new home upon completion and upon closing, Trelora provided a large refund check out of the builder-provided commission paid to the buyer's agent. We sold our home in CO 5 years ago and it was an exceptional experience that saved a substantial amount of $. Through those five years I occasionally checked if Trelora had opened an office in AZ as knew we would not want any real estate company other than Trelora if possible. We were very fortunate in November to discover Trelora was in AZ. I contacted them and told them we once again wanted their services in late January. No pressure from them and called in January to let them know we were ready. AZ had become a “ hot “ market in the ensuing years since our move. We received the same exceptional service from Brock and his team in AZ as we had for our CO sale. For those reviews that remark that one is spread between different personnel at Trelora is completely false. If Brock was in a meeting, a message was delivered to him and he immediately called me back. A couple of times when he called me on weekends, I told him to quit working so much and enjoy life, such was his commitment to our sale. Through the years in selling other properties have never received the same professional and satisfying service. Trelora understands the real estate market has changed, just like landlines and travel agents and other businesses who have adapted to our changing world. And that change benefits both seller and buyer. I so applaud their innovative knowledge and have now benefited twice from their model. Anyone who writes an uncomplimentary review I would find suspect ! I understand Trelora is a threat to traditional real estate proceedings where a good amount of the money you invested in your home flows to the agent upon your sale. Trelora is the best alternative for saving $ and receiving the best service one would expect. Kudos to Brock in AZ for his caring, wonderful humor and his happy and positive personality. We loved him and all the support we received from him ! Do not hesitate to call on Trelora to sell or buy a home in AZ. You will not be disappointed and will agree with my assessment after twice utilizing their services !

I was very apprehensive to ditch the traditional real estate agents for the Trelora team approach. Sure, there’s lots of money to save by using Trelora but will the team get me an accepted contract on a home and at a good price? The long and short answer is ‘yes’. Trelora did everything my past realtors have done, and they did it better. Scheduling for viewing homes was easy and there was always someone available to show. Once under contract, they watched the tasks like hawks to ensure nothing was missed. There is nothing I could find that Trelora could improve upon. I really felt like Bobby, Sequeeta, and the Trelora team had my back for both the sale of my home and buying the next.

In May 2018 I bought a townhome on Tennyson using my good friend who is a traditional realtor. Loved the place, but just didn’t fit my style. This was a new built, I wanted an old loft downtown. In spring 2019, I started looking downtown Denver, but I didn’t have much equity. I asked my good friend if she could reduce her commission if I sold and bought using her, but her broker barely budged, so I found Trelora. For 3,000 flat fee I sold my house. That saved me almost 14,000 in seller commissions. Would never have been able to sell and come out ahead using a traditional realtor. Buying with Trelora I received a rebate of more than $7,000 that I used for numerous home improvement projects!! Win win situation!! I love the new place, and amazing how much money I saved!

Trelora saved me thousands of dollars. I used then to sell my house and buy the new one. In selling mine, they sent out a professional photographer and the mls listing looked fantastic. Had a over asking price offer in 2 days. Saved 17,000 in realtor commission on the sale. They were equally fantastic in the buying of my new home. handled all the paperwork promptly and I got a check from them for half of the commission they received from buying the property. I can't say enough great things about Trelora. I highly recommend them.

I worked with Trelora to buy and sell a place up in the mountain region in Colorado. I loved the fact that I was allowed to set the buyer's agent commission rate and pay Trelora a small flat fee to list my property. I saved at least $10k by selling my property through Trelora vs. working with traditional real estate agents that typically demand 3% for the buyers' and 3% for sellers' commission. From a buyer's perspective, I love that Trelora shares the commission with the buyer evenly at 50%. Add all that up along with working with a great team, with an efficient online software to track documents, milestones, and chat messages that made this a great customer experience. I will never, ever, go back to work with traditional real estate brokerages again for all my future real estate transactions.

I worked with Evan's team on the sell side and Daniel's team on the buy side. Both team's were great to work with! They both understood what I was looking for and always worked to get things set up in an efficient and timely manner as well as worked collaboratively with me. There were frustrations on the sell side that had nothing to do with the team and of course this is not an easy market right now to try to buy a home (and honestly it hasn't been for a while) so there were a few times where my frustration level was very high on both the selling and buying side which was due to many things that were outside of our control, however, Evan and Daniel were always great listening to me vent and always remained positive through the process. I pulled my house off the market for about a month during the summer and after finishing the basement during that time I went under contract a few weeks after that and I was able to find a home to purchase. Both teams were very supportive. I highly recommend Evan and Daniel and Trelora as they have a great business model and you always have a team of people willing to support and provide you guidance through the buying process. I have used "traditional" agents a few times in the past to buy and sell my homes and I never could see the value in the large expense it ended up costing me. The agent that worked with me to buy my prior home bragged more about how great she was then did what she should've been doing for me, as I found out from the sellers agent that the sellers almost walked during the process due to my agent's lack of response and request for everything on the inspection report to be corrected, which I objected to. Luckily I had met the sellers and they liked me and wanted to work with me. So as you can imagine I wasn't very happy to find that out. I wanted to try something different this go around and I'm glad I did. I feel that Trelora provided a great value for the service that they provide and I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone else looking to sell/buy or just sell or just buy.

All under one roof. I would have given 5 stars, however, the actual licensed realtor who was our representative did very little work (maybe more behind the scenes) then the rest of the office people. The traditional real estate commissions of 5.5% to 6% of the home sale price (buyer's + seller's agent fees) have become totally out of touch with the reality of the internet age and ever increasing home prices. With all of the market and home listing information freely available on the internet, home buyers and sellers are doing much of the work that real estate agents used to have to do and at a time when home prices were much much lower where a 2.8% commission was a more reasonable fee. We used Trelora to buy our new home and had a very positive experience! We really like Trelora's flat fee real estate transaction model. We used Trelora for the sale of our home. We had a mostly successful experience however I have two complaints: the first was with pricing, we had been watching the market and inventory for months and had come up with a number that I thought was pretty accurate. The pricing agent suggested a range that we thought was quite low. When we told her that we thought we'd price at the higher end of her suggestion she didn't try to talk us out of it so that was good. Come to find out we probably could have priced it even $10K higher, based off the market at listing time. I feel that had we listened to our gut instinct and based the price off our own research we could have gotten anywhere from $10K-$20K more from the sale. So just do your own research ... The second complaint is with one of our agents Daniel Z. When the buyer had their final walk through they "noticed" a stain on the carpet that they hadn't seen at first walk through. When our agent Daniel called me about it, he said that the buyers were not going to sign until it was "taken care of". He offered no suggestions as to what to do, didn't ask me any questions beyond "was the stain covered by a rug at inspection" and frankly made me feel a lot more panicked about this than I needed to be. I did let him know that the stain is old (probably 5 years old). When I contacted my husband he reminded me that this stain was disclosed on the original listing. Problem solved -- no thanks to the agent. That should have been his first question to me - and he wouldn't have even had to call and ask anything if he'd thought to check that description himself. It caused a lot of stress on closing day. All in all, we went with Trelora for the flat fee and we did sell our house but of course, you get what you pay for.

Trelora did an excellent job with the sale of my condo. I soon realized how challenging a studio condo is to sell compared to a townhouse and/or regular house. But the team of Trelora kept working hard and kept promoting my place. It started with the Jen, the photographer. She did such an excellent job of taking pictures of my condo. The pictures were sharp looking and very attractive. Made my condo look better than it was and could have been easily published in a magazine. I've used Trelora for two transactions: a house purchase and a house sale. I've also used a traditional real estate agent (with a 3% fee) for a house purchase. Cost aside, the experience with Trelora was as good if not better than the traditional real estate agent. Trelora was also 85% cheaper than the traditional real estate agent. Here are some specific ways that our experiences with Trelora was better than our experience with a traditional agent: - Trelora was way cheaper, and it's pricing was more fair: we paid for what we used and for the work the Trelora team performed, not some arbitrary percentage of the purchase price. We saved 85% compared to the traditional real estate model. - Trelora had an entire team working on our house purchase, which made it much easier to contact the team and find out information quickly. If our primary agent was with another client, we could speak to someone else on the team who was briefed on our situation. With our traditional real estate agent, we often found ourselves waiting hours for a call back, and our agent was quite responsive! But he was only one person. - Trelora used technology well; you could see the current status of our transaction using their website. I should say that the experience wasn't perfect; there was a communication issue (an email was not relayed from the closing company to me for ~2 weeks) that nearly delayed our closing. But the Trelora team admitted fault, worked hard to make everything right, and we closed on time. To be fair, we had a similar issue with our traditional real estate agent (a message from the seller was not relayed to me), who also worked hard to get the closing timeline back on track. Overall, I would certainly use Trelora for all future house purchases, and I would recommend the same to all my friends and family.

We used Trelora to sell our home in Colorado. Due the fact that the Denver market is still fairly strong, we thought a flat fee realtor was a wise choice to avoid paying additional commissions to a traditional realtor as homes were generating high levels of interest and still selling in a quick time frame. Overall, our experience was OK with Trelora. Our home did sell. It seems that Trelora is a great resource when your home sale is straightforward and easy to navigate. However our home sale had a few areas which required negotiation and it seemed very difficult for Trelora to provide insight, recommendations, or a path forward as an advisor of our best interest other than they were willing to pass along our thoughts to the buyers agent. Additionally they were not successful in getting the buyers of our home to align on any negotiating points in our favor. The listing description of our home was uninspiring and my husband & I had to rewrite it ourselves. The list price they recommended for our home did not come in on the appraisal, although their success rate on achieving their suggested pricing was a point that they highly touted when they did the pricing analysis for our home. They were unsuccessful with having the appraisal revised. There were gaps on process in some situations-we had a dead deal, and the title company continued to process paperwork against it. Also, we had already scheduled a closing date but their team reached out to schedule it again once it was on the books already. We never actually met the lead agent and only spoke with her once. Most of the interaction was with associates and assistants. Most of their interaction was reactive, not proactive on Trelora's part. I would only use Trelora again in the future if I felt there wouldn't be any type of scenario that required extensive negotiation with the sale of my home.

I used Trelora to sell my house several months ago and had the most wonderful experience. Besides the obvious savings (I saved almost 40k in realtor fees since our buyer didn’t have an agent), everyone on the team was always so responsive and professional. Their customer service is unparalleled. My one concern before choosing Trelora was that I thought they may not be incentivized to get the highest price for my house since there is a flat commission rate. We had an early offer on the house that was lower than I was hoping for but I was willing to take since I was moving out of the country. Much to my surprise, Christoper actually encouraged me to not take the offer even though that meant much more work on his side for no additional financial gain. I ended up getting about 15k more from the same buyer by taking Christopher’s advice! Also, don’t be scared when traditional realtors try to dissuade you from using Trelora. I considered using the realtor I worked with to purchase my house before I knew about Trelora, and this is what she wrote me: “Most brokers will not show Trelora listings. They will avoid it. Even in this market other Brokers will not deal with them. Trelora is the worst choice for you.” Besides being completely false, it is illegal for brokers to not show a listing based on the listing company! When traditional realtors use this scare tactic, it is unethical and unprofessional. The attitudes of realtors who are worried about losing their huge paychecks for work that Trelora does amazingly well for $2500 is what makes me an even bigger advocate for Trelora. Keep up the amazing work, I will DEFINITELY use your services in the future!

True 100% honest Experience of Trelora -VS- Traditional RE Agents My wife and I recently sold our house with Trelora and here is our experience. First, Trelora's technology is really good and very user friendly. Super easy to see what has been done, what needs to be done and where you are at in the process. After we listed our house there were multiple problems with the agent side of Trelora. The agents didn't list our house with the IRES system in northern Colorado, which in Boulder county is a big deal. A month after we had little action on our house they realized the error and said, oops we should have caught that. We had 1 day where we had 2 showings scheduled by a Trelora agent, we cleaned the house and left for 4 hours, but neither showing visited the house. When we asked why, they said the Buyers agent was new and didn't know how to cancel a showing, so she scheduled another one and didn't cancel that one either. Our family missed friends being in town from out of state because we had to leave the house with our dogs. Trelora response, "Oops sorry about that" After 8 weeks on the market, called manager in office and asked him to give me some ideas of what to do, since our house was not getting as much action as we wanted. He said he would look into everything and get back to me with a plan of what we would do to help the house get under contract. Never heard back from him . . . . When I called our agent followed up with the manager who had almost no suggestions of what to do other than lower the price. He did say we could offer a buyers commission of 2.50% instead of 2.0%, but we had changed the commission to 2.50% 3 weeks before he got involved. Thanks for the advice?? Once we got under contract the communication was 100% better than the actual listing process and everything went smoothly. total time on market 120days Traditional agents, before you pat yourselves on the back and say you would have done so much more to get my house sold, your only solutions would have been to lower the price or open house. I know this because we sold our house 2 years earlier and had the same delays on the market, but the difference was we paid $15,000 more to that agent. All in all Trelora did a fine job and it was 100% worth it to save $17000 in commission by not using a Realtor that would have charged full commission for roughly the same experience. Note to Traditional RE agents, if you want to compete moving forward you are going to have to lower your commissions and break the Good Ol Boy system that charges 5.8% on transactions, completely nuts considering how much buyers and sellers can do for themselves online. Trelora, great Technology that is easy to use and navigate. A little more expertise and direction along with fewer oops mistakes, from your "Experts" would go a long way to build the trust you need to crush it

Christopher and his team did a phenomenal job! Communication is key and someone was always there to answer any questions or to help me thru any issues. I took my house off the market for about a month while I had it painted and some landscaping done. I received so many calls from other realtors that wanted my business stating they were so much better than Trelora and they could sell my house (for their traditional commission of course). I saved quite a bit of money using Trelora even though I paid 2.8% commission on the buyers side. I believe that the traditional real estate field is threatened by Trelora's model and in some cases may steer their clients in other directions so that they can make their full commission. My hope for the future is that Trelora will be the "norm" vs. agents earning thousands and thousands of dollars for buying and/or selling properties when the title companies are the ones working behind the scenes to prepare all parties to close the deal. I highly recommend Trelora and would use them again!

Overall, I had a good experience with Trelora. I believe Trelora provided a lot of value for the low commission they charge. They are envied by real estate industry as it is challenging traditional commission model, and you may hear other agents bashing Trelora's reputation, but my first-hand experience was good. There was a period of time, I felt I was too detached from Trelora (agent wouldn't call for regular sync-up), and Trelora should improve on field support a bit more. On the flip side, I felt Trelora was a lot more responsive as it has a team of agents promptly answering your questions. I closed my home remotely, and the process was super smooth. My agent ( Christopher Stjernholm) was very knowledgeable and courteous thorough-out the process. I would use them again. If you hire them, know that they are short of field staff so they may not help you visit your home regularly (if you are remote), and you should make sure you keep buyer's agent commission at full. Buyer's agent may discourage the showing on your property if they find they are getting paid less (speaking of business ethics). I hope Trelora goes nationwide where other states benefit from them as well.

I am disgusted at how much real estate agents make (I lost $20k in real estate fees at my last house) and Trelora is trying to revamp that and take a realistic amount. They will ONLY take $3,000 for commissions and they take less to sell your house! It's awesome to see a company that won't take all of your equity from your home, while still providing great customer service. My brother's house sold in less than 3 weeks and my parent's house sold in less than 60 days (the average house takes 90). I was able to use the commission's kickback to add a fence to my new house. I would definitely use them for any future sales and buys. My only regret is that I didn't find them before I sold my last house and spent an outrageous amount of money in real estate fees!

Basically, if you don't use Trelora, you're a complete bonehead who loves to give money away to whiny Realtors who can't adapt to the changing market. We used Trelora on both the buy and sell sides and the service was absolutely amazing. On the buy side, we worked with Graham on what was possibly the most nightmarish transaction imaginable, due to the sellers being absolute a-holes. The transaction even fell through at one point and was later revived; however, Graham, Christopher and the rest of Trelora stuck with us the entire time and we finally closed 2 months after the original scheduled closing. We mainly dealt with Michelle and Eileen for showings and they were so nice and pleasant to have along. They let you know of all the pertinent info but also just let you do your thing to get a feel for the home. On the sell side we worked with Laura and Zach. Things could literally have not have gone any more smoothly with them. Every step of the way Laura and Zach were updating us on the different offers and how to approach them. The communication was phenomenal. I don't think it could have been any better than that. In the end, we saved around $30,000 using Trelora and their service was top notch. You're throwing your money down the drain, using a traditional Realtor who thinks they're entitled to their rip-off commission. Things are changing in the real estate market and you should probably check Trelora out if you plan to buy/sell--unless you hate your hard-earned money. In that case, hit me up and I'll take a few bucks if you plan on throwing it down the drain with a traditional Realtor.

We used Trelora to sell and buy last December. Our home sold in days, for much more than I ever expected. They took very professional photos and got it on the market immediately! The buying process had a couple hiccups, but overall we got the home we wanted and saved a ton of money. The team at Trelora was always available to answer any question I had, it was a bit strange at first dealing with multiple people, but when you always have someone available to answer your call, any day of the week, it makes things MUCH easier. During my experience, I saw that many other real estate agencies bash Trelora left and right, they would actually not show their clients properties that Trelora is managing because they knew that they wouldn't get paid their typical 3% commission... This is ridiculous! If you are looking for a home, you should be shown every possibility, not just the ones that make your agent money. I will never use a traditional real estate company again. Trelora will save you a ton of money and the people there actually care about you, imagine that!

I was a little wary of using Trelora instead of a traditional real estate agent. I was afraid we would miss out on a deal or a listing, or that the Trelora agent wouldn't be available if we needed him. That has actually happened with a traditional realtor we used. But when my husband told me we could keep the roughly 3% percent commission from the purchase of our future house (instead of paying it to a traditional real estate agent), I thought it would be worth at least looking into. I worried for nothing. The collection of Trelora agents was always available when I called. They were available and polite and knowledgeable, and any one of them was able to look at my file and see the notes specific to me and answer my questions. I never felt like we were missing out on some personal connection with our realtor. Call it hive-mind if you want, but the Trelora agents were on the ball and up to speed on my situation at any given time. We ended up going to 4-5 houses before we found the one we wanted, and we had a different realtor show us a few of those times, but each one was smart and experienced, and I felt very well taken care of, even by these relative strangers. And when we were ready to negotiate, our primary agent worked on our behalf to get us a good deal. He was loyal to US and not to the DEAL, as some realtors by nature have to be to make a living. My Trelora guys (and gals) are getting paid whether we buy the house or not--unlike traditional realtors. And the best thing for us was, once we found the house and got under contract, and negotiated the inspection resolution, and allll the things a traditional realtor would do for you--we got to use our returned commission for whatever we wanted. In our case, our mortgage broker used some of it to buy down our loan rate--to an astonishing level. And the rest of the money will come to us via check a couple weeks after we close on the house. I can't thank Trelora (and my husband for finding them) enough. I'm singing their praises all the way to the bank--and our new home!!

I was definitely skeptical at first about using Trelora since generally upfront payment buyer's agent plans are considered scams. But the reviews were good, and I figured the most I'd loose was my $500 down, that could end up saving me over $10k if I did find a house. In the end we did find a house, and did get the rebate check:) Pros: -Rebate -Always someone available to answer questions -Scheduling tours was easy -Making the offer was easy Cons: -You are dealing with different people at different parts of the process, and while they do a great job passing info along, some things it would have been easier to have 1 person for. Example, when making an offer on the house, the tour agent is different from the person who looks up comps and suggests a bid to make. Due to this the person guiding your bid may not be aware of some unique aspects of the home. Due to this, this process is best for a person who is comfortable driving the process and saying the house is worth more or less than the comps suggest. I'll be buying again with Trelora and probably will consider them for selling

Excellent experience from start to finish. Trelora's business model is that of the future. They use a specialist for each step of the selling process rather that one realtor trying to be an expert in everything. 1st Eileen the market value specialist came out and helped steer me in the right direction on what needed to be done for remodeling to get the best money and quickest sale. She then came back and gave a new market value after the work was done. Trelora then sent out a professional photographer to take pictures of the house for the listing. The pictures were outstanding! Better than I've every seen from a realtor. They emailed me the pictures and let me choose what pictures to use. Trelora is not a typical real estate broker in many ways. Their commission is much lower (even though there are more RE 'listing' broker these days accept the low commission) and they are not the go between you and your title company and that causes a lot of issues. For example, Homestead title never mailed me the 1099-S for the sale and therefore I did not know if they file that with the IRS and more importantly if they have the right SS#. When I asked for it, it took months to get a copy when it is in fact required by law. During that process, I came to find out the closers are not even following the company process and that is why things like this got missed. Trelora does try to mitigate issues after a sale. I had 3 with them and they finally got the process of getting a 1031 exchange form signed timely and give me the copy timely as timing is extremely important in a 1031 exchange. In addition, I told Trelora that their systems can be greatly improved to expedite the process and regulation requirement in price change..etc. They don't work after 6 pm. Some RE brokers do work after hours. In fact they mainly work after hours most of the time. In addition, I never had a Trelora agent came to any of the houses I sold. They have their photographer to drop off lock boxes and signs and if lockbox needs to be changed, they have a team to do that and not the agent(s) you speak to. If you are selling your house out of town, you can be in great trouble as no agents I know (including Trelora) check on your house while no one is there. I went to see a house being on sale and saw 3 ft of water sitting in the basement window well. Terrible situation. But no one knows it as the seller has moved out.

I used Trelora on both the sell side and on the buy side, and I cannot think of a reason why I would ever use a traditional realtor again. Between the two transactions, I saved over $30,000. Going in, I thought I would sacrifice some level of service for the lower fees, but that was not the case. If anything, their team approach made them more accessible than their competitors. If you are going to use them on the buy side, I would recommend that you are already pretty focused on what you want, in terms of neighborhood etc, before engaging them. You only get so many showings for the initial fee, so you want to make them count.

Trelora just sold our home. This was our second time working with them after using them to sell an investment property in 2013. Trelora's fee was $2500 and we offered the buyer's agent $10k. This amounted to less than 2.3% of the selling price going to realtor commissions, which I feel is a good amount. The industry standard of 5.6% is way too much and is a drain on our economy. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the extra $18k we saved. The only downside might be fewer agents want to show your home. We had fewer showings than I thought we would get, but in Denver's hot market we still went under contract in just 3-4 days.

If you are looking at selling your house, or buying a new one, I would give Trelora a serious consideration. They are making a real difference in an old industry that hasn't caught up to the way people transact business today. We've owned and sold several homes in the past, and while I was a little hesitant to not work with our broker that we've used for over 10 years, I thought the savings we could potentially save would be worth the risk. I wasn't sure what to expect from a company that charges so little, I'm used to getting good service and they didn't disappoint. I thought corners would be cut and I might not get some services that I was used to, but I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. Now don't get me wrong, because we have bought and sold many homes in the past, we have had a great deal of experience and understood how the whole house selling process works. Many people might get nervous if their house hasn't sold in 3 days or what an inspection objections is. If you are new to buying or selling a home or feel you need to have a bit of "hand holding" through the real estate process, you may want to consider using a traditional agent. However if you're okay with not having someone there to help you every step of the way, I would highly recommend Trelora, when it comes to our next home purchase, we will be using them again.

Ok. Here's the good and the bad. The good part is that you can save a bunch of money with Trelora but it isn't a good fit for everyone. If you want to talk with the same person every time you have a question, Trelora is not for you. That may not seem like a big deal but here is our scenario. We had a camera system in our house and we told the Trelora agent that first came out, when he asked if there was anything that would not be included with the house, we told him we would be taking our camera system with us. We also noted it on the APP when we filled in all our info. We also told the person who created our MLS listing, but turns out, none of them noted that statement anywhere and when an offer was made on our house, we assumed that was noted and it was not. For that info that was missed during translation between all the different people handling our sale, we lost thousands of dollars in equipment because they stated it had to be included with the sale now as it wasn't listed in the contract as an exclusion. We are first time sellers so we assumed things we said were noted in the contract somewhere. We were wrong. We found ourselves asking Trelora to do things that other real estate friends suggested to us instead of them doing it on their own. Ultimately we sold our house in 2 days and saved a bunch of money even after losing the money for our camera system.

Trelora was great. Had we posted with a traditional realtor, we would have paid $24,000 just in realtor commission. Instead we paid $5000. That made our house about $20,000 more competitive. It sold in 1 weekend for $16,000 above asking. They work a little differently than other realtors. Someone came over to initially appraise our house. He looked at the house and ran comps. He gave us some pointers on quick things we could do to make the house shine. I felt like there was more honesty there because there wasn't an incentive to make us spend a lot to get top dollar. Someone else took photos. She made our house look really good. A couple realtors helped us through negotiating and contracts. They were always there from 9 to 5. While that worked great for us, this was different from other companies. The $2,500 flat rate they get doesn't cover people working until midnight to do your contract. For us that was no problem. They were not pushy and listened to us and what we wanted. We moved out of Colorado where trelora doesn't cover. I hope trelora can expand and transform the way everyone buys homes. I love to see a company doing things right succeed. 6% commission is way too much to pay for selling a house. I would recommend them to anyone.

Their photographer comes out to take photos and place the "for sale" sign (so make sure you have your home ready and presentable). One of the reasons I believe that Trelora is thriving in the Denver area is because it's a major seller's market - let's be honest...nowadays buyers know how to browse for homes online, and homes essentially sell themselves, but you do need someone to work with you to make the paperwork happen behind the scenes - Trelora does just that. Why would you want to give away 6% of your home's value on closing day? If you have $300k in mutual funds, how would you feel if you lost 6% in one day?...that kind of hit would be on the news for months, so why do you just accept it? The smart home sellers don't! Trelora provides the most competitive flat selling fee of $2500. You pay $500 to get started (home listed, professional pictures taken), and then the other $2000 is deducted at closing. You also have 1 year to use them if you decide to take your house off the market for awhile or if an initial deal falls through. You are also able to set the buyer's agent commission. They typically want 2.8%-3% depending on the area, but that's what they're asking for...you don't have to accept it! I told Trelora to advertise a $4550 flat buyer's agent commission (which would be about 1.5%). We received five offers in 48 hours, and four of the five did counter and ask for the full commission, but everyone also overbid on the price. Because we needed to sell quickly, we did end up accepting to pay the full 2.8% on the buyer's side. But if you have a great home that will sell and don't need to be under contract in a few days, I would recommend setting a lower rate and see how many accept it, or still even counter under the traditional full commission. You will STILL have many showings! Agents are still required to show their client the home. I specifically worked with the Hanson team at Trelora and they were top-notch.. These are smart people who know your situation and always keep you updated. You can call anytime and can also communicate via text and Email. We had a great experience with them with no hiccups to report! Would highly recommend and we will use them again if the time ever comes again!

It was great working with Brian and Greg on the sell side and with Lorenzo and Eileen on the buy side. Not only did we save a ton of money, but did not notice much of difference vs. using a traditional realtor (which we have in the past). They also have an awesome web portal that we used daily for communications and contracts. They also did not badmouth other companies unlike traditional realtors and had a clear value proposition for us. I knew I didn't want to play into the "traditional" real estate fees and neither should you. If someone in the real estate business tells you not to use a discount brokerage or that their service is far superior for the traditional 3% fee, they are wrong. Trelora provides a superior service at a fraction of what a traditional agent will cost. If you're buying, like I did - you'll get a credit on your closing statement towards costs!!! I had a team of Trelora folks behind me through the whole process from MLS searches, showings, contract negotiation, inspection, to siting right next to me at the closing table!! Steven, Mike, Lorenzo - awesome folks and worked seamlessly to facilitate a issue free transaction! These guys are fast, smart, and professional. Nothing discount about this place. Don't be fooled by the industry "talk" - be smart, do your own research, and you'll see Trelora makes the most sense if you're buying (and I assume selling) in the Denver area. Like many people, I did not believe which real estate agent is going work for a flat fee. Yeah, you may be afraid of other flat fee agents, but not Trelora. Here is my story. I was wondering if the flat rate can ever feed an agent in a transaction, then resulting in bad even none services. Oppositely, it works out way better than I could expect. Before I initiated the web chat with Jason, like many others – I did my research as much as I can. I read every review on each third party websites, including Yelp, Google…and any possible review popped out when I queried from Google. There were more happy reviews than others, but what came to my conclusion was “the worst case I would lose is $500 if this did not go well; the best I could win is $15,000 if I buy a $625,000 house.” So WHY NOT GIVE IT A SHOT?? (Special thanks to Jason, the online chat specialist, who responded to my questions timely and even sent me the template contract they used which is used by a regular agency/broker.) I think I have nothing more $500 to lose by signing this agreement. After singing the agent agreement with Trelora, we were assigned to a lead agent, Graham. He and his team started a series and serious seamless services to us, including setting up a private text number allowed all team members can communicate with me instantly, and the united email account with the Buy Team which makes the process even easier. I did like the text private number, which is more convenient than email in my opinion. Needless to say they offer a direct line to contact the lead agent or deputy agent, and no restriction if you prefer to talk. Showing Yes, the limit of showing is 15 times for the $500 you paid up front. But, we only asked ONE showing after we visited 20+ open houses. Yeah, that is free and we know what we are looking for. Don’t you? In addition, the Trelora showing agent really impressed us: on time -- ahead of time for 15 minutes; professional – walked us through the house with tons of detail oriented knowledge; and patience – we stayed in the house for an hour and 10 minutes. No rush feels, gentle and professional. I feel such showing is 110% worth than $50 we paid. Making an offer I’d like to appreciate my lead agent, Graham’s efforts on providing me the comp and suggestions when making the offer. He did his homework, but I did that too. In my mind the agent is helping me complete the transaction, and being our coach and advisers, but they are not our decision makers. I would say and suggest everyone who reading this review to do some homework for every stage in the transaction. Once you did, then the Trelora agent will enlarge your power in negotiating the deal and get your target. We threw out a low ball and got 3 counter offers. I appreciate Graham who proactively followed up the listing agent and help me set up the deadline for the answer. This really helps the rhythm of the transaction which can be done smoothly. We visited the house on Oct. 31 and the house was under contract on Nov. 3, with just a few thousands over my target price for an over $600k house! Every new offer we made, Graham provided great suggestions on the detail in addition to the price, such as the provision, deadlines, etc. Oh by the way, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for Graham or his team to respond to my text message during their business hour. This makes the whole negotiation process more effective and efficient. Under Contract and Closing process were omitted from here since there were too many character to post...but those were done smoothly with their help! Summary Everything presented in Trelora website is real and fantastic! You cannot image how happy and satisfied I am by hiring them as my buying agent, unless you do, too!

I sold a house in Lafayette Colorado in summer 2017, using TRELORA as the agent/broker. My total cost was $2,500 on a sale of nearly $600k. This was less than 1%. In the past I have paid 4.25% to 5% on the sale of a property. I have worked with a variety of other agencies in several states over a period of years, buying and selling a number of homes. The TRELORA experience was very good and it was what I had hoped for and expected. They delivered exactly as promised. Photos were excellent. The market analysis was spot on with a professional appraisal. Their back office staff handled the paperwork efficiently and accurately. I have a few observations: For an experienced seller TRELORA is a great option. TRELORA didn't attempt to second guess my choices, but it was clear that they had knowledgeable staff available for inexperienced sellers as well. Selling your home is all about internet exposure. Buyers find the homes they wish to visit. TRELORA gets your house on to the internet with the multiple listing services and the many websites. Your traditional agent will do the same at higher cost. One of my concerns before listing with TRELORA was that traditional agents would boycott my house. But I saw no indication that they kept prospective buyers away. There were few homes available in my desirable neighborhood and again, buyers find the homes they wish to visit on the internet, so my house had good traffic. Buyers and sellers are apprehensive over paperwork. TRELORA provides full service with agreements, disclosures and other paperwork. As a seller you'll need to decide what to offer in compensation to the traditional buyer's agent. I have an experience-formed low opinion of real estate agents so I only reluctantly offered a buyer's commission. TRELORA will advise you on the range of commission percentages and their clients' success at various levels. My house had good traffic at 2.8%. With TRELORA an open house can be a bonanza for the seller. While TRELORA will provide the signage and the occasional agent-host, as will a traditional agent, TRELORA will also support your self-hosted open houses on a more frequent schedule. Why is this useful? First, when you advise TRELORA that you plan to host an open house, they update the internet services. Your house gets renewed attention. Services such as REDFIN send emails to those prospective buyers who have saved your house as a favorite. Again, selling your house is all about exposure on the internet. Second, your greatest hope is the walk-in buyer, one who is not working with a buyer's agent. If you are lucky enough to have this buyer walk through your door you might avoid the buyer's agent commission entirely. If you and the buyer come to terms without the interference of a buyer's agent, you can ask TRELORA to work as a "transaction broker." This means that TRELORA facilitates the paperwork for both parties. Since the seller has a very low transaction cost, there's plenty to share with the buyer. Both parties walk away with savings. I was willing to try TRELORA because I have simply paid too much for too little over the years by selling through traditional agencies. I have been waiting to see a major disruption to the real estate industry, a disruption that allows buyers and sellers to benefit from the technology that has been around for a generation already. There's no reason for a 4-6% bite to be taken out of every transaction at every price point. I won't hesitate to work with TRELORA on my next sale. Good luck! Save some money!

If there was an 11, I would of checked that. I've owned rentals for 30 years and have sold 6 houses on my own in the last 4 years, offering seller financing. I've never used a realtor because I didn't want to pay a commission and quite frankly, I was able to sell them through Facebook, craigslist, sign in the yard etc. I spent 6 months trying to sell a higher priced home on my own with no luck. Rod Ward (with Trelora) found my ad on Zillow and reached out to me - I'd had dozens of calls and the ad clearly stated "NO REALTORS". He was professional, pleasant and took no for my answer, but then asked if he could follow up. Which he did, several times, and always without pushing. After months of dealing with unqualified buyer offers, I finally caved and he took over the listing. We got an offer within 3 weeks, with 2 full price backup offers, in the middle of a pandemic with a stay at home order in place. We ended up closing with the 2nd buyer, and the process was seamless and successful. As much as I thought I knew about selling a home on my own, Rod was instrumental in making me aware of how much more I had to learn, in a super nice way. He was with me, EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY. He kept the process on track, moving forward, giving me great advice (with the disclaimer that he's not an attorney and I should do my own research as well), making sure that all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed. Rod was ALWAYS available for me, responded within minutes, followed up to make sure I understood and to see if I had any questions. He's professional, an expert in his field, personable and he did a phenomenal job. In retrospect, I should of engaged his services months ago! TRELORA's real estate model is an unstoppable no-brainer. I used TRELORA as a buyer, and TRELORA's model allowed me to use the bulk of the offered commission to the buyer's agent to help me make my offer stronger and pay my closing costs. After TRELORA's $2500 flat fee, I was left with almost $8,000 in commission to utilize for the transaction. I wound up giving about half of it back to the sellers (which made my offer stronger than 13 other offers received for this house) and used the other half to pay my closing costs. I am a licensed real estate agent. TRELORA's flat fee of $2500 was a better deal than going through my previous real estate brokerage with the 70/30 split. Let me say that again: I received a larger discount purchasing my home with TRELORA than I would have with representing myself at my old real estate firm. TRELORA's model is the future. I found so much value in the model and mission of TRELORA that I left my old firm to join them, and now work as a full time TRELORA team member helping other clients save huge amounts of commission throughout their real estate transactions.
