Recent Home Sale My wife and I decided to make a move out of Colorado. The move would involve selling our home here so we began to chat the relocation with friends, neighbors and family. Our son owns a gym and said there was a member at his gym that we should really consider. After chatting with 4 realtors we asked Zack Haberle of PorchLight Real Estate Group to visit with us in depth. We are certainly glad that he was available! We bought our first house in 1976 and although I was transferred 3 times, we didn’t make a purchase outside of the company relocation plan until 1991. Along comes our decision to relocate 31 years later in 2022 and it was a long time to remember how to manage a transaction of selling a home. Zack was incredibly patient and his communication skills were fantastic. He was always one step ahead of us, very patient and guided through the process. It was as if he was hearing our discussions without being present. Zack managed every step and detail through the process and closing. Thank You Zack!

Chad makes a long and uncertain process easy to understand and fun! I have known Chad for over 12 years and he has helped me both buy and sell my home. Back in 2016 he showed me multiple homes almost every weekend for months and months until I found my home. His patience and understanding for a first time home buyer was so reassuring in the daunting process. Our home appraised at the end of 2019 for $355k. So, when it came time to sell this year (had to move due to family illness), we weren't expecting much but knew things were favoring sellers. As our agent, Chad Mendoza really ran the numbers to get us the best price, adjusting way upwards according to his analysis of the market. By the time our home went on the market, he bumped it up again but not outrageously. We were nervous but knew we could trust his expertise. PorchLight Real Estate Group also provided incredible staging and photography that made our house stand out and look its absolute best. They even took measurements and found that the public records were wrong, so we got several more square feet to add even more value to our home. Just thorough and professional. Within days of our home going on the market, we had multiple offers all over asking. Chad then walked us through all the offers, advising us on which one provided the right appraisal gap protection to ensure we walked away with the most money in our pocket. Getting to closing was smooth, and Chad kept in touch with the other agent to ensure the buyer was happy and the deal stayed on track. He also provided updates as the buyer worked his way through the inspection and other deadlines. We are over the moon with the outcome and cannot thank Chad enough! Thankfully, we had Melissa Wiggins as our realtor. Melissa went above and beyond to set up showings on short notice that fit our schedules. I decided to meet with her and within one meeting it was obvious how far she stood out from the rest and that I wanted to work with her on this process. You will not find a more responsive, dedicated and truly caring person to work with than Jessica. If I had any complaint, it was that I sometimes felt guilty at how amazingly responsive she was. Buying your first home is a very intimidating experience and she was with me 100% of the way. I will start by saying this is the third move for my wife and I in the last 10 years. Most recently we were relocated to Denver for my job. Having a newborn and a 3 year old, balancing a new job responsibilities and relocating was a lot on our plate. Fortunately we found Jessica Whitney and the PorchLight Real Estate group and they were able to make finding a home easier than any other move we have made. Brian Fisher went above and beyond from the first time we went out looking for houses until weeks after the closing. He was in constant communication with both me and the builder of the townhome I purchased. He checked in on progress of the house several times a week to make sure everything was going smoothly. He even called me several times on his week-long family vacation, just to check in! Brian was there every step of the way, which made my first home-buying experience a breeze. I also know he did a lot of work behind the scenes for me. At one point, he called to let me know that he'd negotiated a new washer and dryer be included at no extra cost. The night before closing, Brian checked in on the house and noticed a contractor had left equipment strewn about the garage of my soon-to-be-home. Erin worked with me for weeks prior to submitting an offer--honing my tastes and encouraging me to not lose hope for what I want. (Hard in this market!!) Working with Sandra was an amazing experience for my family (wife, infant, and dog). We moved across the country from Virginia with a very tight timetable and from the get-go Sandra was on top of things. My husband, Matt, and I moved to Platt Park in May 2019 and fell in love with the neighborhood. We love the walkability, the “neighborhood feel,” and the close proximity to parks, restaurants, and bars. Dan remained patient, optimistic, and encouraging, never pushing us to do something we were uncomfortable with. Then, in mid-March, Dan received a response to one of nearly seventy letters that he personally sent out to potential sellers in our neighborhood letting them know of our interest in a home like theirs. Dan acted on this information immediately and was able to get us in to see the home that afternoon - before the home even went on the market! We fell in love with the home right away and after six months of searching and over twenty home viewings, we knew that we had found the house we wanted to call our home. We connected with Dan multiple times shortly after our home visit, and, with his guidance, made an offer on our dream home. It was accepted that night, and we went under contract without the home ever going on the market! As we proceeded with the home-buying process, Dan was there every step of the way, to answer our many questions and to provide us with fair guidance that considered our best interests. Why working with Tania at PorchLight Realestate was the BDE (best decision ever)! Relocating to Colorado was a big deal for my family. Everything was unfamiliar territory for us including the schools, the neighborhoods, the parks and places to shop. We liked the idea of renting a property but the thought of purchasing a home gave me anxiety. Mostly because the process is very personal and emotional and with so many unknowns about the neighborhoods, I had no certainty if where we bought would meet our needs. After discussing the ins and outs of what we had in mind, Tania took us on a market education day – it was great. We drove all around different neighborhoods scoping out the scene. Was it close to the city, close to my job, or close to a grocery store? Were there any parks within walking distance? Were the houses in that location larger or smaller? Would we pay top dollar in a certain neighborhood vs get a bit more for our money in another? A couple weeks after our initial neighborhood investigation, we began attending a series of open houses. And by we I mean my wife, myself, and our two kids ages 4 & 6. We would see up to 10 houses a day, shlepping the kids inside each one, which was somewhat stressful for us, but to Tania this was nothing new. With one child on the verge of a meltdown and the other giving Tania her unsolicited two cents, Tania was a pro. That final thing that made working with Tania at PorchLight the BDE (best decision ever) was that she always seemed to have everything we needed- mortgage lenders, home inspectors, flooring specialists, local school info, goodie bags for the girls to help prevent future melt downs. There was never a single thing we needed that Tania did not have or could not find a solution to. We will certainly use Tania in the future, and would recommend working with her to anyone in the Denver metro area!
