This is my current neighborhood. I love the area. I can walk to work. There are parks for my kids to play in, two dog parks, and I have a magnificent view of lake Michigan. There are also some decent resturants and coffee shops o. The neighborhood. However, the price tag is high and I have not met a lot of families with young children that live in the neighborhood. I usually see more dogs in strollers being pushed in a day than children. The other downside is that the only close stores are bockwinkle's and Mariano's. Target is about a mile walk which isn't bad by yourself but with kids it can be an adventure if you decide to make the walk.

Amazing view from all perspectives. But it's coming to an end work than a few years there is new construction D and happen along the river and in front they are building the 3rd tallest building in Chicago in Lake shore some most people's views will be gone

Disappointed with "dinner" seating with a reservation. Seated in noisy bar. Food very good but not hot. Before the opening we were invited to register for a $50 discount on dinner. The offer was never mentioned again live in neighborhood so was looking forward to a new restaurant that we could walk to and enjoy often. Dubious after this experience even allowing for "growing pains"

We came here to visit the brown bag seafood co. There was a nice view of the lake. Overall, great place to visit. Even if you are just going to walk by. The is a stairwell to the lower streets right bu the intersection. I would recommend it.

This was the view from the Radison Blu (Aqua) on the river on Wacker. Amazing place.

Nice greenspace that is heavily used and showing wear and tear. Too many off leash dogs. Too many dog owners not picking up after their dogs. Too many people not picking up their garbage when they use the area. Shameful how little regard some have for this space.

I love this place. The front desk people are always helpful. I see Ken in the evening when I come back from work, and he remembers my name, and I always get a friendly greeting. Management initiates events to make it a community. All of the people are nice and friendly, from the maintenance staff to the management office. I like living here. I can see the dog park and a slice of the lake from my apartment.

This hidden gem is right downtown and not many people know about it. Unless you live in the area you won't see it. You might stumble upon it. Sit back and enjoy. In one area you have a nail,hair salons with a couple of food places and a grocery store. You can also get a massage at the chiropractor or therapy down the street. Plus a Mariano's with parking with validation of course

Nicest dog park I've ever seen. Surrounded by flowers, built on a hill so the sprinklers wash away the smell, and a nice water feature. Great spot for dogs to socialize.

there is a nice park here in the middle of all the skyscrapers. this seems like a great place to live as it's close to the other main attractions in the city. there are a lot of stairs and ways to get out but they should put up more signs, i almost got lost.

Love this neighborhood. Great park and grocery at Mariano's. I like coming here to read amongst the skyscrapers. There are a handful of new tall buildings under construction. There is a playground and a dog park too.

Visited in-laws that live here and was quite impressed. The guest accommodations where very nice, if a bit small but for downtown Chicago apartments, that's what you can expect. Pretty much anything you could want is a short walk away and the nearby park is isolated enough from the chaos of downtown that you might forget for a moment that you're in the middle of Chicago.

One of the nicest neighborhoods in downtown. Apartment buildings surround a central park where people walk their dogs and children play. It has the vibe of a quiet and peaceful enclave that's somewhat surprising for its central location.

Great park to sit on a bench and read or meditate. Fountains drown out any noise from the dog park and the city. A real gem. If you approach from the north there are a lot of stairs to go down, or just take the elevator.

I took my son and wife to see the Christmas tree in millennium park but it was to packed so i kept driving and found this beautiful little park with lights and everything. Only 30 min parking allowed and we had everything to ourselves.

lol I use to call this beautiful secret park the (hidden park) this were the first Mariano's in Chicago they have a dog 🐕 park open space for a picnic dates or u can fly kit play frisbee play soccer some schools do trips there a park for little ones ! Adults fight over the swing adults like to walk in front of the swing still that they are a little racist this is not 1960 we have right & deserve the best too beautiful condo a local bus stop calm and peaceful love the water their 💓 the reason why I have not been their in awhile they always test or try me who told how did I find out about this place I have more welcoming Park's for melanated people!

I was visiting my parents in Chicago, and Google thinks I stopped here and wants me to write a review. Even though I know nothing about this establishment, I give it 5 stars. I'm sure that if I had frequented this place, I would have been pleased with the professionalism and service.

Building is beautiful however the luxury tag that it carries is not justified mainly due to low quality material used for flooring and walls. There are issues related to water pressure which is quite low. Also there isnt a back entrance for this building which leads to single entry exit point of building. Lack of frequent public transport makes this place less than desirable. Biggest advantange is however gained through Mariano's which is just 5 min walking. The newly developed River walk also provides additional summer activity.
