I had used apt amigo in the past and had good results. For my last move, Brenda was assigned as my agent. Brenda is the best agent a renter could ask for. She found tons of properties that were in my price range and in the neighborhoods I wanted to live in. She helped me narrow those options down to a manageable list and then arranged tours for all of them at convenient times. She was extremely knowledgable of every property we went to and kept track of specifics like rent and move-in dates which made the entire experience much easier for me. After the tours, she remained available by text and promptly answered every single question I had for her. On top of being extremely good at her job, she was also pleasant to be around and made a day full of apartment tours fly by. I never leave reviews for anything but Brenda was so great that I felt an obligation to this time. She deserves more than 5 stars.

If I could give more stars I would!!!! I am moving to Chicago for work and only gave myself a week to look for my new home. Once I began touring units I had found on my own in advance, nothing felt right. I discovered AptAmigo while frantically late night Googling neighborhoods and buildings. Brenda called me back the very next morning and after about an hour phone call had recommended a neighborhood and seemed to really understand me and my needs. After sending me potential apartments to rate, I had 9 tours booked and confirmed starting that afternoon. Brenda assured me that we would find a great apartment before the end of my trip and turned my despair around as I could have seen myself in any of the toured units. We found an awesome unit that fit all the boxes (close to transport, close to groceries, killer amenities and fantastic views) and I was able to apply and be approved before my Chicago trip ended. She was also a knowledgable resource and advocate through the whole process. I wish I had started this search with AptAmigo, but so happy to have found them! I don't think I will ever do another apartment hunt without them again.

We had a great experience with AptAmigo! We found them online and put in our information on the website. Curtis reached out and was super friendly and helpful. He found almost 30 apartments that met our criteria, which was more than we expected. We narrowed it down to 6 and toured the apartments with Jessika. From the moment we first talked to Curtis and until we signed our lease (around 2 weeks) Curtis remained in communication with us, answered all our questions, and made all the necessary arrangements for the tours. During our tour day with Jessika, she was incredibly helpful, asking all the important questions to the landlords and having our back on everything. Rose from the Chicago area is an amazing broker and helped my boyfriend and I find the perfect Chicago apartment. As an overly skeptical person, I cannot even begin to stress how fantastic Jasmine Kimble is. She had so much patience with us while finding our place, especially since I kept changing my mind and mini panicking about what was and wasn’t good enough. She always went out of her way to checkin and make sure that everything was to our liking AND she made sure we were always getting the most out of our applications whether it was returns on admin fees, service member discounts, or making sure our emotional service animal was recognized. Jasmine will make sure your wants and needs are first and will help you find a place as fast as humanly possible. 10/10 absolutely recommend her to anyone that needs/wants or even isn’t quite sure they need a leasing agent.

I was initially searching for an apartment all by myself. It was so strenuous, and nothing productive was happening. Stress was only piling up. I came across Aptamigo fortunately through Rachel, an agent who works at aptamigo. She got me the best apartment which suits my preferences within 3-4 days. She is beyond fantastic, Very friendly, collaborative, always available, very patient, lovely to work with, and many more. She started off with knowing what exactly I want, shared all of the best options, recorded videos of all of the apartments which were shortlisted by me and her, attended virtual tours, answered tons of questions I had every day over messages and calls with so much energy and enthusiasm. I haven’t come across such level of service ever. I would never worry about apartment search in future anymore as I would just reach out to aptamigo and especially Rachel. The way this service saved my life. I am a smart and well-functioning person and I literally get so so stressed out by apartment hunting. I wasn't sure how to start, where to look, what to do. AptAmigo is such a freaking god send. First - Kamal is a real one. I've been living in the Chambana area so basically wanted to try to pick one day to come to Chicago and set up tours. I had one reeaaallllly bad experience with an apartment tour and felt hopeless. Within less than an hour of me submitting my contact form he called me, within the next hour he had sent me recommendations that I selected favorites from. As I was driving home that day I started getting email confirmations of all my tours set up for one day the following week and the relief I felt was enormous. He even texted me to confirm and was super responsive. I was able to take the train up to Chicago that day, he got me to all my tours, and I didn't have to stress at all. aptamigo's apartment locator service was an absolute LIFESAVER for my partner and I!! Julia was our agent and she was so incredibly perfect in every way! We were house hunting on our own and it was so stressful that we decided to go with an apartment in Chicago instead, but we'd never looked for an apartment so we didn't know what to do or how to navigate the process. Aptamigo offered to connect me with an expert for free and I didn't think it would be legit. Julia emailed me that night offering to set up a call the next day, I was concerned about how much it would cost me and she assured me it would all be completely free. So she called me the next day and we talked about everything we needed and wanted for an apartment. She promised me that we would never have to worry about the location or feel of the apartment because she would never put us in an apartment that she wouldn't feel comfortable living in herself. She visited all of the apartments we were interested in and really helped us determine if they were a good fit for us. She took videos, facetimed us, and called us every step of the way so we would have ad much info we needed since we live out of state. Throughout the entire process she was so sweet, kind, and made me feel so comfortable asking questions and making requests. I have really bad anxiety and I stress over every little thing, but Julia reassured me time and time again that I wasn't being annoying or asking too many questions and she never ever seemed frustrated. Our approval process was really long and complicated but Julia checked in on us and went in person to the apartments we were applying for to ask additional questions without being asked. She went totally above and beyond in every single way and we would not have been able to find a more perfect home for our little family without her. We seriously owe her everything and she's probably like my new best friend now; I can't wait for her to see the new apartment she helped us find and get!!!!! He had been with us every step of the way from creating a list, touring and signing the lease. He was super insightful and acted as my proxy when I did the virtual tours. He went to some apartments for the tours to talk with management on our behalf and give us insights on things we can't observe from the virtual tour such as cleanliness and ambience. He's also friendly and easy to talk to. He shows that he really cares and want you to get your perfect apartment. I highly recommend Christopher Gotti if you are moving to Chicago. He is one of the best apartment brokers you can find out there.

It had been about four years since I had last looked for an apartment so when I started using the apartment sites like Zillow, Apartment.com, I quickly became overwhelmed by the amount of options. I stumbled upon Apt Amigo's website and saw all the wonderful reviews / comments about how easy and painless it was to work the company and their agents. I reached out and Jane contacted me shortly thereafter. My first conversation with Jane was great - she was so friendly and asked questions about my criteria and would send me back great options. We first toured about 4 apartments and she was so patient in listening to our feedback and suggesting other options. The AptAmigo database is also very robust and helps you filter through apartments that fit your criteria as well as reviews regarding the building itself that were helpful. Jane scheduled all our starred apartments and was super responsive in following up with the leasing agents and keeping us in the loop. All we had to do was provide her our schedule and feedback and she did the rest. She also drove us to all the viewings making it a fairly quick process to see multiple viewing in a day. It is a ton of coordination to schedule with the leasing agents and then the buildings themselves or owners/renters so I appreciate that Jane handled all of that seamlessly, Once we selected our apartment, Jane coordinated the logistics with the owners and leasing agents and we were able to apply + secure the apartment less than 36 hours. I attribute that to Jane's responsiveness and organization. It was that easy and that painless. I would recommend AptAmigo to anyone looking for an apartment in Chicago. They make it so easy and enjoyable and I totally get why they have such strong reviews!

I’m moving to the Atlanta area for work with very little notice - was finally able to head down for a weekend with a friend to check out apartments close to work. Suffice to say everything we saw was either extremely low quality or unavailable in my time frame. The weekend was over, my move was in 3 weeks, and I was starting to panic. My friend who works in property management recommended I check out AptAmigo, and within a few days I had Grace Chapeau giving me a call - I gave her the whole low-down of what had been going on, and she immediately had a list of apartments ready for me in the metro area that fit my budget and timeframe. She was highly familiar with all of the properties and knew all about what deals were going on. She called a ton of places for me to find out answers to all my questions, taking SO much stress off of me. She personally recommended me a wonderful property in East Atlanta that miraculously fit my budget (after the concessions) and was able to get me moved in exactly when I wanted! When the property (understandably, being a busy season) was taking awhile to process my application and get my lease sent over, Grace was ready to find out any answers for me that she could and kept me calm throughout. I can’t stress enough just how helpful and wonderful Grace has been, and how much of a life saver she was. The website is super easy to use as well. The only “downside” was that she wasn’t able to work outside of the metro area and not get me AS close to work as I wanted, so I’m guessing that’s probably true for many of the cities AptAmigo works out of - not necessarily a bad thing, just something to keep in mind! Either way I am going to recommend AptAmigo to everyone I know who’s apartment hunting from now on!

I really hate apartment searching, it truly stresses me out, but Vanessa did an amazing job with helping me find my perfect place + not being as stressed. She set up my tours and was unable to attend however they sent another great person to lead the tours. (She still kept in touch with me during my tours as well which was very kind!) There was a hiccup in the schedule (one building was behind on their showings) but Patrick made sure we still got to see everything else and we were on time for everything! I could tell that he was coordinating things with the operations team and it sounds like your internal communications are very impressive, organized, and spot on! There was one issue I encountered with the apartment building while signing my lease (not apt amigo's fault at all), and Vanessa was still there to give me advice on how to proceed. Also want to note, If it wasn't for Patrick asking the leasing agent a specific question, there would have be an issue with my lease agreement. So I really appreciate that. Overall, I had an amazing experience and highly recommend AptAmigo to everyone. I know that they are a start up so I can't wait to see them bless the rest of the world with their services! :) (and sorry for the novel, just had to share it all so you can see how awesome they are!!)

I initially reached out to an agent with no stated affiliation to Aptamigo for an apartment I liked on Zillow that fit my criteria. This listing was a little misleading as that was not the price of the apartment (it was the pro-rated price after applying a 2-3 free months free deal). Something to be aware of. My AptAmigo agent was great in setting up all of the tours and handling communications with the apartments I was looking for. The initial list of apartments also matched my criteria perfectly. When I've worked with other similar companies, they seem to add suggested apartments that don't fit my criteria and don't really listen to what I want. The tours were also seamless and easy. The only challenge I had was moving quickly on tours. I initially starred 5-6 apartments I loved from the suggested list, but it took 2 weeks to actually get tours scheduled resulting in me seeing only 2 apartments. I also missed out on a 3 months free deal because of slow communications. This was disappointing and the reasons that I heard for not getting them scheduled didn't seem to make a lot of sense (it's hard to coordinate visits, need special permissions to view condos).

Decided it was time for change and to move into the city from the suburbs and signed up on their website and did some initial browsing. Got a text that evening and set up a call the very next day from the sales rep who helped figure out what I was looking for and then sent a number of recommendations for me to look at and select what I liked. From there after narrowing it down she handled all the scheduling and got a day of tours lined up (saw 5 apartments which was a good amount and not too exhausting). Typically I despise touring apartments as its kind of exhausting and dealing with apartment sales people is not my favorite thing but for the tours the person I worked with helped make the touring enjoyable and helped with taking some notes and pictures which really helped me with making a decision. AptAmigo made things very easy, covered Ubers to places, and plus it was free so there is very little to lose in trying out the service. Had I not found a place with as good a deal as I did on the first day of tours I would have definitely continued working with them and will probably do so next year if I decided to remain in Chicago once my current lease deal expires.

I usually don’t leave long reviews on anything, but I felt that it’s only fair to do so here as I’m still in disbelief that I didn’t have to pay anything to AptAmigo for their services—and believe me, whatever small amount the commission is that they get from the building I’m signing a lease at that they connected me with is nowhere near the amount of money they actually deserve for the amount that they helped me!! After searching for hours on third-party rental apps, I applied for a tour of a unit in an apartment building that AptAmigo is partnered with in South Loop (I had no idea initially that AptAmigo was brokering the building), and sure enough Kati from AptAmigo reached out to me almost instantly and explained how AptAmigo works and offered to streamline my apartment search. This was extremely lucky on my end as I had never thought of using a broker to aid in my apartment search prior to talking to her, so I figured I would give it a try. I should note that I hate looking for apartments as I have very little experience with it and always get anxious not knowing if I’m doing everything correctly and asking the right questions so it’s fair to say that I was generally dreading the whole process for many months before I started looking, but with Kati and the AptAmigo Chicago team all I had to do was answer a few questions broadly about what I was looking for and Kati sent me a dozen or so potential unit listings in the neighborhoods I had desired. I chose my favorite listings and within a day Kati had scheduled 6 buildings to tour all within a 6 hour period on a day that I requested as it was the only day that week that was convenient with my work schedule. Kati set me up with her colleague, Jay, to lead me on the tours and take me from building to building. This was a major relief as I was not super familiar with the neighborhood we were touring in and had no idea where the buildings were. Jay was extremely familiar with the area and buildings we were touring and was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the several hours we spent together. Thankfully, he knew all of the right questions to ask the leasing agents and took notes for me so I could focus on the tours. All of these things that I mentioned combined made it incredibly easy to compare and contrast all of the listings that caught my eye initially and I definitely would not have been able to find (much less tour) nearly as many buildings as efficiently as I did had I not utilized Kati and AptAmigo’s services. Kati was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process of searching for units that met my criteria, setting up the tours themselves, and answering any and all questions I had throughout. She made herself available outside of regular business hours to talk on the phone and go over any questions and concerns I had several times. I work full-time on the overnight shift so it goes without saying that I do not keep regular business hours so I can’t thank Kati enough for working with me and my schedule and making everything so easy and stress-free. I ended up finding a perfect apartment that suits all of my needs and am signing the lease this week. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Kati, Jay, and AptAmigo. I would recommend Kati and her team to all of my friends who are currently in the rental market and will definitely be contacting her again if I ever am looking to move in the future!

Finding an apartment is a stressful process whether you're brand new to the city or a seasoned vet. Having been here (Chicago) over 2 years, I was confident in the exact area of the city I wanted to live in. I didn't see myself living anywhere else. Enter Jen Firestone and AptAmigo. I told her my budget, location preference etc, all that nit picky stuff you have when seeking your ideal apartment. Jen informed me that the unit I was looking for was in a part of town that I hadn't really considered. I was surprised, but Jen handled it with understanding and reassurance. My girlfriend and I were moving to Austin, TX out of California and we needed to find a lease. With 1000 buildings to choose from and no way of touring these places in person, we felt lost. Luckily, we found Aislinn Jones and AptAmigo. Aislinn was so friendly and easy to work with; she helped us schedule Facetime tours, and personally walked us around with her phone so we could look around virtually. There were some hiccups with various rental agencies along the way, but it was reassuring knowing we had boots on the ground fighting for us. Now we're locked in to our dream apartment, and we honestly could not have done it without her help. If you're worried about paying a higher rent because of their service, just know that the building pays AptAmigo, not you. I’m late writing this review but I still made it :-) I worked with Curtis Crowell in late June 2021 and gave him pretty unrealistic expectations (or so I thought) about wanting to move into my dream apartment 2 weeks from the day I met him. Within 30 minutes of having a conversation with Curtis, he was sending me listings that had about 95% of the amenities I wanted. The very next day, we were off to see places. About 3 days after we started this process, my schedule made it nearly impossible for me to go see places in person anymore. Curtis proposed the idea of him going to see them for me while using FaceTime. Long story short, that day he started looking at places for me, I found and applied for my dream place. Curtis’s sense of urgency to my request (which I honestly deemed hard to pull off) became a reality!! He is a wonderful employee and very professional. I appreciated the experience and would highly, highly recommend anyone who is considering working with AptAmigo to GET THE PROCESS STARTED!! You won’t regret it.
