Bissonette was very responsive and helpful in our process! When you call their office, you talk to real staff and get immediate responses unlike other large apartment managers. Their apartments are also updated and have awesome finishes. I couldn’t recommend more!!

Been renting from Bissonette for almost ten years and they've always been fantastic. We originally rented a studio, then moved to a two bedroom and both units were great. The appliances were up to date, it wasn't drafty, all that good stuff. Their maintenance team is also incredible, always quick to respond (especially in an emergency, one time we had no hot water and they got right on it) and they always do a fantastic job. Definitely recommend as renters you can trust

This is our second year renting from Bissonette Properties. This company offers good quality units for good prices throughout Burlington Vermont. They helped us find our second apartment before we had to move out of our first one and were great at showing us places that had everything we asked for! I have developed a relationship with Lauren there, and she has been great throughout the past two years helping with maintenance requests as well as general questions and concerns. When she isn’t around everyone else in the office is just as pleasant and happy to help as she is! I truly believe that Bissonette Properties is the best renting option in the Burlington area. They have high quality units managed by a professional team that want you to be happy and comfortable in your apartment!

I love living in the apartment I am renting from Bissonette properties. The hardwood floors and upscale bathrooms are great for the price that I am paying. They were very responsive on the parking situation that we had in our lot. My apartment had trouble with the dryer since we moved in and it still works off and on. We had a pest problem and unfortunately they do not cover for the cost of hiring an exterminator. Other than that it is a nice place to live.

I have been living in an apartment rented by Bissonette's for the past year and I have been loving it! It was a new renovation so there were some minor issues to figure out, but they fixed them fairly quick and have always responded to my concerns. They are pet friendly, which was one of the reasons I love renting with them. I moved in off season, without seeing the unit in person and they were extremely helpful and helped my find and move in fairly quick.

I have enjoyed my apartment that I share with my boyfriend and a friend! That being said, there was an extra person fee of $200/month which is a bit excessive since we definitely don’t use $200 more in trash and water each month, and so it’s actually just an excuse to charge you more. I am not renewing my lease because I found a more affordable (and new) apartment for my boyfriend and I but I did appreciate how nice this apartment has been in terms of cleanliness. It’s clearly been renovated in the last 6 years or so and it’s at a good location (near the waterfront, Church St., and a little bit of a walk away from UVM). The rental price is a little high to begin with, especially with the utilities you have to cover on your own, but unfortunately that’s how most of Burlington operates for rentals.

Comparing my rent and quality of apartment to my friends living in Burlington is wild. My apartment is updated, clean and in such good condition in comparison. And somehow I’m still paying less than many of my friends living in the same area. I’ve lived in so many burlington apartments and living in a Bissonette apartment has by far been the best experience. I mean they aren’t perfect obviously, but they are nice, responsive, and it’s been really good living here. Also their pet rent is very affordable!

I have had an awesome experience renting from Bissonette Properties! The apartments are good quality and are a fair price. The staff is always very helpful, no matter the situation. They respond quickly and are very friendly. The video walk throughs of the properties are detailed and are a good alternative to in person showings during COVID. I have had a great experience working with Bissonette! I recently relocated to Burlington and was in the less than ideal situation of needing to secure housing remotely before I moved. Bissonette made it super easy for me by offering a video tour and sharing photos and measurements. My apartment is exactly if not better than what I expected, and was very clean when I moved in. The team is very responsive and available to tenants via email, phone, and text.

Moving at any point can be stressful but when you are looking to relocate to a new state, during a pandemic it tends to make the situation even more chaotic. I had just spent a long weekend looking at apartments in the Burlington downtown area with two very unprofessional realtors, that left me feeling discouraged and frustrated. When I located a cute studio listing with Bissonette Properties, I just decided to cold call and speak to some directly about what I was looking for in a unit, my needs, price and move in date requested. I spoke with Addy Nunez and from the moment I started the process looking for an apartment with her, she has been nothing short of honest, clear, with straight forward communication and answering any questions I may have about the unit. I'll admit I've never rented a unit without seeing it first but due to the pandemic and safety health protocols in place I decided to rent a apartment through video and pictures. I do feel confident that if I have any questions/concerns or am unhappy about any of my new apartment situation Addy and the Bissonette team will get back to me promptly and address any of my concerns in an efficient and timely manner. I'm now looking forward to moving to Burlington and enjoying all the beautiful that Vermont has to offer.

Bissonette is a great company - they have very prompt communication and are always on top of their business. When my roommates and I were cutting it close with a payment deadline, they reached out multiple times to remind us and make sure we had everything in. My fiancé, dog, and I decided to make the move from Philly to Vermont now that we have the ability to work from home. We started our apartment search in early January and came across many Bissonette Properties. We opened up the conversation and were helped SO MUCH by Addy! She communicated with us via text message (which we preferred and over a whole month while we found the right space for us) to quickly answer any questions we had and informed us of property availability when told her what we were searching for. We have never signed a lease for an apartment without seeing it in person first, but we definitely trusted Bissonette Properties and Addy to give us the real laydown of the property via photos, video, and through the many questions we asked. We are looking forward to moving in June 1st and are hopeful for the relationship we will have with them over the course of our tenancy!

Pet friendly! Nicely renovated up to date apartments with nice wood floors, most with W/D in unit. Easy to file macitence requests and get in touch with the folks in the office (except Sunday). Also very helpful in finding a new apartment into at the end of leases. Be sure to get an idea of the parking as some driveways are stacked parking.

I just recently renewed my lease with Bissonete Properties and everything has been super smooth!! The apartment itself is a beautiful studio. The only reason I wouldn’t give them a 5 star is because the parking is alittle inconvenient. It’s first come first serve tenant only but sometimes I get home from work very late and there will be a few cars without passes and not everyone on the on call staff really seem to care about towing. But I pay a lot of money so it can be frustrating when I have to park on the street. But the actual renting part has been great :) super friendly staff as well!!

Bissonette is hands down the best property management company I have ever dealt with. We called Bissonette Properties to find a place to live while still residing in Atlanta after my GF accepted a job offer. We gave them our price range, needs, and preferences. They very clearly explained the Burlington housing market, gave us multiple options, and even did tours via FaceTime. After a couple weeks of going back and forth on properties we signed our lease and drove 20+ hours on Sep 28th. We have since settled in and have had a few maintenance requests. All requests were handled as quickly as possible and the maintenance team is on point. We love our unit and can't thank the entire Bissonette Team enough for making a very stressful move as fluid as possible. Ya'll are awesome! Thank you!

Nice, well kept units and they respond to issues faster than most other landlords I've had in the area. Rent is above average for the apartment sizes and they really kill you with all the admin fees each year. But overall you get what you pay for with Bissonette.

Due to Lauren's quick action, I was still able to get the apartment. Their apartments are expensive but the best quality you will get downtown. I'll update once I've moved in and lived there.

In terms of house quality and responsiveness, Bissonette are good landlords. They provide decent housing and a decent level of service. Renter beware however, that less than 3 months into your lease, they will begin showing your apartment if you do not agree (or are unsure of NINE MONTHS in the future, what your plans will be.) to stay for an additional year. This means that in September of 2017, you'll need to tell them you plan on being on this spot until June of 2019. That's a hell of a commitment to expect of a renter, and if you can't at the time; expect several showings. Our Apt has had 17 showings scheduled over the course of 2 weeks, Sept 12th/26th.
