We enjoyed working with the Justin Landis group. They made the process of selling/buying so much easier. We had the pleasure of working with Ashton, Grace and Clair. They were a great team. This was our first time selling and buying at the same time. The team made the process seamless. We did not have to stress over finding a photographer, inspector, etc. Since we did not have anyone we preferred to use, they help set up appointments with everyone. They think of everything, so you don't have to. We highly recommend this realty group.

Shawn is the best! My husband and I had some pretty outlandish wishes for our future home. We were both sure we would be making a lot of compromises when it came down to it, however, we ended up finding every single thing we asked for; our literal dream home! In March of 2022, I started browsing the market online since I would soon be purchasing my first home. I stumbled upon a selling agent, Micahia from Justin Landis Group, who was assigned to me as a selling agent on Trulia. Micahia and I started chatting back and forth - and scheduled a Zoom call to introduce myself. After our Zoom call, I realized that Micahia was definitely my first choice as a real estate agent. Though I started looking at homes really early, Micahia kept me up-to-date on the latest market trends as well as sharing various homes she believed would be a good fit for me. I started actively searching in mid-July. We maybe toured 15 homes and I was getting overwhelmed. From general home knowledge, to offer strategies, and negotiation techniques, Nick helped us find an amazing home which we just closed on 2 days ago. Our communication with Nick never lacked. I think this is one of the hardest things for Agents to do - manage their clients expectations - and Nick always managed to do it in a way that gave us the ability to make real, true, honest decisions about the whole process. Whether it was expectations about contingencies in an offer or expectations about how likely the seller will be to bear additional costs after inspections. Not once, throughout the process, did either of us have any buyers-remorse. We love our home and we can't wait to use Nick for other real estate needs in the future.

When we decided to sell our home we met with a couple of other realtors before meeting with Ashton. When I shared we were serious to begin putting in offers, she sent me multiple houses she found OFF the market, and were often the first people in to see the house. In three weeks, we put two offers on two houses, and we won our second offer. The due diligence process was seamless, and we ended up paying under our appraisal price which WAS AMAZING. Grace was there from start to finish, and even helped us up to the day of move-in with scheduling painters, cleaning, and small renovations. In all honesty, I can't imagine working with anyone else. She made our home-buying experience a dream, and I felt like we gained a group of friends and supporters in the process of moving to a new city. 10/10 would recommend!

Kristen Johnson is a master at her job. I loved that she was a doula prior to becoming a real estate agent. She brought in a truly excellent and thorough inspector and worked harder than I probably know to make sure the seller took care of all of my concerns. She shielded me from the stressful back and forths with the seller and the lawyers as our closing date was repeatedly delayed to make sure my concerns were addressed. She had my back and guided me through the process like a BOSS. Her clients are lucky to have her on their team and I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

We had an unexpected situation arise as we did our final walk-through of our home 40 minutes prior to closing, and Emily immediately jumped into action and kept us calm. She called all necessary parties, helped us talk through our options, and stayed with us for the 5 hours that we were at the home trying to figure out our next steps. We were able to quickly narrow down a target area, and then a target house (ironically the one we flew to see). Once we made the decision, the house already had 3 other offers. Not being from the area, we didn't know how to make ours competitive (where we are from, bids often go $50-$100k over asking). Kristen helped guide us to a number we felt comfortable with, and drafted a strong offer that helped us win the bid. We had to do the home inspection remotely and Kristen was extremely helpful throughout the process. She did a great job of negotiating when things came up on the inspection (which they always do), and was extremely communicative throughout the process. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of with her as our agent--even thousands of miles across the country. This level of care extended even after closing. She has checked in a few times to see how we are settling in the house and the area, and has been extremely helpful with recommendations. I honestly don't know if we would be in the house of our dreams if we didn't have Kristen's help. We feel truly blessed to have found her.

Ben Riekhof is hands down the best real estate agent. Ben opened our first session (virtually) explaining the home buying process from start to finish. Ben was a teacher before he was an agent, and he has a passion for educating and representing first time home buyers. After our session, he created a profile for me on his site and would send places for me to check out. I would provide my feedback on the site, and we used it to narrow down the properties I wanted to see. The 2021 Midtown ATL market is hot, but Ben was always timely in scheduling tours, diligent in drafting offers, and conscientious in maintaining great relationships with the sellers' agents so we were always able to keep our options open. After drafting an offer, Ben would walk me through it and talk about the little aspects in it that would help ours stand out above the rest. With Ben's persistence and expertise, he helped me land a deal on my dream condo for $20K under asking. He utilized his professional network to guide me through the inspection and loan process. Unfortunately, the sellers fraudulently misrepresented clear title, but Ben helped me through it every step of the way. At one point, it seemed very likely I would have to file a lawsuit, but Ben was able to navigate the situation in a way that allowed me to still close while also protecting me and my new condo's title. Ben was completely transparent with me throughout the situation, and he was incredibly responsive answering every question of mine with strong insight and patience. I was excited to finally close on my home a few weeks ago, but it will be sad to not have as much communication with Ben anymore. He is a phenomenal agent, but more than that, he is an incredible friend. I was referred by someone to Ben, and I am now excited to refer him to other people I know looking to buy a home. Ben gave me quite a few homes to look at and was never hard to get a hold of during my first home buying experience. Ben was on the spot and available when I needed to make a deal. When the deal was made the service didn't stop. Ben sent me a helpful email listing all of the important dates to keep in mind during the period after an offer is accepted, he set up appointments with professionals to evaluate the condition of the roof, electrical systems and HVAC and dealt with the seller's agent on my behalf. In addition to real estate experience, Ben has an outstanding education from Mercer and a working background in the liberal arts (he taught high school french for many years and was qualified to teach as part of an International Baccalaureate program). Another bonus is the team he has around him in The Justin Landis Group. They really do have a full service one-stop shop network. I was able to get a great interest rate with one of their lenders, get reasonable quotes for repairs, and use their recommended home inspector which gave me the negotiating ammunition I needed to buy the home I really wanted to buy at the price I was willing to pay. Buying your first home is a stressful thing to do with many ups and downs. It is a unique transaction that takes weeks to settle and finalize.
