I am a landlord. AIM Properties is managing a rental property I own in Rio Rancho. Angel is doing a great job, making sure that the property is well maintained and that the tenants live comfortably. I don't have to worry about a thing. Every month a detailed statement is posted in my landlord portal, and the rent money is deposited in the bank. The commissions are the lowest in town. I strongly recommend this property management company.

Overall, I had a very good experience with AIM Properties. The apartment was a studio on Vail Ave and it comes as is; mine was pretty filthy when I moved in. After cleaning it head-to-toe, it turned out to be a really good apartment and a great location. There’s a couple weird people roaming around, but they also had security for the complex which felt safe. The company itself was very clear and straightforward about the process of whatever questions I had. Pretty darn stoked about getting the full deposit back!:D

I've been dealing mainly with Terrance, who is very nice and helpful. Maintenance seems to happen at a slow pace (~2 weeks). I've only been renting from AIM Properties for a month now and so far everything seems fine. The house was clean and ready by the time I was ready to move in, so I was happy. Some reviews say AIM will offer an incentive only if 5 stars are selected for the rating. This is not true. They offer an incentive to simply review your experience (which is quite common).

As busy as we are as a family getting someone to follow up on maintenance, even updates to when things would be fixed would be nice so we didn't have to call constantly. From the start was a pleasant experience. Stephanie was very helpful and professional. They even let me split up my deposit to make the move easier. Also had an issue with the A/C so we put in a maintenance request and the issue was fixed a few hours later. Awesome people to work with and would recommend anyone in the market for a place to rent to give them a call.

At the location of Aim Properties located on Montano NW in Albuquerque, the office staff was pleasant and helpful. I was greeted with a smile and acknowledged, even though they were busy. I was asked to have a seat and they would be right with me. And they were! Didn't have to wait long at all. Ms. Olivia Sheets, Admin. Assist was thorough and professional in handling our lease and explanation of Tenant Agreement, etc. and the many forms we needed to fill out.. She was able to answer our questions without any problems. I was impressed with the conditions of the grounds of the rental property, The outside was exceptionally maintained, lawn mowed, roses trimmed, etc. Our rental unit was clean, even though it will need some maintenance, as it is an old building. I would not hesitate to recommend Aim Properties to anyone looking for lease or buying.

AIM Properties agents were very kind. First, in looking at the apartment, given the key, and allowed to see it on our own. Second, the application process only took a day for approval. Third, the first months rent and deposit was discounted and fair. Fourth, upon moving in, they immediately had our heat turned on (gas in-floor heaters), and new locks. Fifth, the apartment and yard was cleaned before we moved in. In the end, the ladies are always accommodating when we call. By far, this is the best property management company in town. They are different because they want you to rent it and you don't have to give them your kidney to get it.

The process here was no stress and very simple. We saw an ad for the listing, went and checked the apartment over, and signed the papers a few days later. Jacquelyn was very helpful during the process, and she went over the paper work with us step-by-step. After we moved in there were a few things that needed to be addressed, but they were able to get it resolved within 48 hours. Nothing to do with AIM; a few people viewing the apartment decided to leave their garbage and a minor plumbing issue. But they were all settled before we were. Kudos to AIM. Talk to Jackie, she helped us out a lot.

I considered a rating of 4 instead of 5 stars, but realized this had more to do with my emotional state when trying to rent a place than with AIM's performance. We had had a bad experience with a previous house and were in an extended-stay hotel trying furiously to find something else. Nothing seemed to happen fast enough. But really, everything was pretty easy and was done in a timely manner on AIM's part. Alma Alvarez helped us through the process, and when she was not available for some reason her colleagues were pleasant and helpful also, and got the messages to Alma. I left several messages because of course the aim of AIM should have been all about me. =) Even though the move-in was not finalized until right at the end of our deadline, it was pretty quick on AIM's part. Alma got us in on time and we were able to get the keys quickly so our moving cubes could be dropped off and we could begin unloading. The house is nice and comfortable, as represented in the ad. Overall a very good experience. Thanks, Alma!

They sometimes were hard to get in touch with by email or voicemail, but if you got someone on the phone or went into the office they were very helpful and friendly. They were fast with maintenance requests, and we had no problem at the end of our lease and we received our security deposit back.

Daniel Torrez did a wonderful job helping us find a rental. We were on a very tight schedule, and he worked hard to make sure that we could take care of everything on time. Friendly people. We all hate moving, but these guys did everything to not be a part of the headache that comes with moving. However, after moving in all the problems began. First not only did the A/C not work it wasnt even hooked up. Its a swamp cooler. Everything was unplugged, im assuming because it was known that there was a leak in the line, which i found out after turning on the water and it coming out of the ceiling. Then after going up into the attic i found mold in the insulation and it took them 4 days to even get a repair guy out here. then i have a microwave that doesnt work, the overflow valve on the sink poured water out of it when the dishwasher was ran. Outlets didnt work, the flooring has gaps everywhere and i slipped when i stepped on one of the slats. They had two weeks notice that my family and I were moving in and this house was anything but move-in ready. If you ever deal with this company ask lots of questions and make sure you have someone who actually knows about the house walk through it with you prior to move in. That was a mistake i made. I just took the keys and assumed they did their part.

This is the first time leasing from a company like this and let me tell you it has not been good, the home was not move in ready has had several hazardous this to be taken care of like the gas was not on, water was shut off, heater not working not to mention there are 3 minors in the home. So at some point we were living worst then homeless in a home with no heat, water or gas.......one of the bedrooms was used for pets and the smell was unbearable to the point that the city had to go in. this happened 2 weeks ago. This home has been a nightmare and the owner refuses to apply the pro rated rent paid for a home for 18 days of which all repairs are still not done. Mary Ann has been trying to help in getting these repairs done.
