Nicholas MonroeI had a fantastic experience getting treatment from Dr. Cockrell. I had ingrown toenails removed from both of my big toes and the procedure was quick and effective. He was extremely accommodating when it came to getting me a couple of last minute appointments. The aftercare and follow up were easy and painless as well!

He was so professional and really explained everything thoroughly. I've already recommended Dr. Cockrell to all of my co-workers. There's no reason why we should deal with foot pain when there are professionals like Dr. Cockrell to help us!
Maree Taylor15+ years ago, I had very painful bunions on both feet. I went to Dr Cockrell and during that year he did surgery on each foot. The surgical nurse told my husband that it would take a while because Dr. Cockrell was a perfectionist and took his time. My surgeries both went well and were quite successful. I have not had any problems with this since and both my feet are still very straight. Dr. Cockrell did a great job & I’m thankful I found him.
H BrownI highly recommend Dr. Gary Cockrell to anyone needing foot surgery. He has an office in Brentwood and Madison TN. I had a double bunionectomy and a big toe joint replacement done by him in October 2022. Another doctor wanted to fuse my big toe, however I felt I was too active to have the toe fused and I would have had less mobility. I am so grateful that I got a second opinion with Dr. Cockrell, he has been doing big toe replacements since the 80’s. I felt safe under his care. The joint replacement was very successful, and I love the mobility! The surgery/recovery was not painful at all, due to a nerve block was used. I recommend him to all my friends. He is kind and cares a great deal about his patients. His office manager is wonderful and is very good about returning phone calls timely.
L. TaylorI had a bad hammer toe on my left foot. And, I was having problems with a bunion on my right foot. Another doctor had already worked on the bunion several years ago, but he failed to straighten the toe. The bunion bump was still there, resulting in constant blisters and calluses. Dr. Cockrell recommended surgery for the hammer toe and the bunion, explaining the procedures and answering all my questions. If you are having foot problems, please see Dr. Cockrell.

Doctor Cockrell list extremely helpful in answering my questions and performed a procedure on my toe. I had no pain and my toe has healed quickly and I would highly recommend doctor Cockrell for any of your Podiatry needs

Christie GallantI can not say enough good things about Dr. Gary Cockrell. I recently had a pretty severe foot injury and came from Lexington, KY to his practice in Brentwood, TN after being misdiagnosed by two doctors for several weeks. Dr. Cockrell is an extremely professional and skilled surgeon and board certified podiatrist. Not only did he take detailed x-rays in many different views of the location of my injury, he went over in detail my diagnosis and thoroughly discussed my treatment and safety plan going forward. He took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. He even gave me some "old school remedies" as suggestions for example a felt foot pad to bring me to a more comfort level as I had to use my foot to navigate through daily life. He even prescribed some prescription medications to help expedite the healing process when I previously had been not even offered those the past several weeks before seeing Dr. Cockrell. What a difference this is making so far. Do your research! Just because a Doc has a board certified label next to their name or fancy state of the art this or that in their office, does not always mean they are better. Sometimes the Docs with the more old school approach who are still educated on up to date knowledge with medical practice and training are the hidden gems still in this world. Seriously, if you want a good Doc who can do it all, Dr. Cockrell is 100% the Doc. I'll def take the 4 hour ride from Kentucky for my follow ups and next foot needs. 10 stars rating although google will only let me click five! Thank you Dr. Cockrell!
Terri JurkaninDr. Cockrell is an excellent podiatrist. I have had three surgeries and absolutely no complications or pain. I highly recommend him for any of your foot ailments. You won't be sorry.
