I called Flowtechs Plumbing early in the morning because of a potential gas leak around our dryer. Johnnie arrived a few hours later and immediately assessed the situation, confirmed no gas leak from the line and then recommended replacing the vent hose given the very poor condition of the current one. We then took Johnnie through the house to discuss other plumbing issues we had including fixing a leaky tub faucet and a toilet that was not flushing to full capacity. Johnnie was an incredible technician with the ultimate customer service attitude. He took the time to explain situations, recommendations and listened patiently to our questions before answering them. I have never had such a positive experience with plumbing professionals. This experience has made us permanent Flowtech customers for as long as we live in the area.

I reached out to FloTech after a brief google/Angi search for reliable plumbers in the area. Needed some rather urgent help to replace a leaking water heater. The office manager was super responsive and I was able to email photos of our existing set-up to Josh who emailed me a quote back within 24 hrs. Nice to avoid the “consultation” appointment. Got scheduled for the replacement the next day! Team that did the job were professional and worked clean. Definitely a recommend 👍

These guys are amazing. We had our house built in 1974 and the contractor used substandard copper pipes. 40 years later, we started getting pinhole leaks and 5 years ago replaced the pipes in the basement. Recently, we started getting leaks upstairs, and had to bite the bullet and have ALL our pipes replaced. Dave from Flotechs did a masterful job. Our house is "odd" (geodesic dome) so he had to be a cognitive strategist to figure out the piping layout. He did a great job with the least possible trauma to walls & ceilings (equivalent of endoscopic surgery almost). It was a big job (2 days) but he gave us water access between sessions. Dave could also moonlight as a clock setter, since he always arrived EXACTLY when scheduled. Pleasant to work with, and he explained everything he was doing. Highly recommended.

Since wrtiting this review I have hired Flotech to improve my laundry room (our waste pipe is above the utility sink) and hook up a new washer and dryer. The drain pipe on a recently refurbished powder room was installed in a crooked way under the sink. John from Flotech fixed the installation quickly and explained beforehand what our choices were to fix this. I’ve been using the Flotech technicians at my mom’s house in Yonkers for the past few years for various jobs, including plumbing, drain clearing, maintenance of the hot water heater and furnace. I have only good things to say about them. Mary in the office is always fun to speak with; pleasant and accommodating. The guys who come out to the job are polite, professional, and get the job done for a reasonable price. They’re very reliable, keeping in contact about arrival times. I’m glad I found them.

We had flotechs here last week to install a new kitchen sink faucet and drain. Before they came we were sent pictures of the techs so we would recognize them when they came.. They arrived when they said the would and were friendly and did a great job. I had them also look at a toilet and was told that it would take so much time to fix and that it would cost less if we went out and bought a new toilet and just had them install it. I wold highly recommend them.

Knowledgeable, professional, efficient, methodical and kind. Jonnie found and fixed a leak causing severe damage to our living room floor in no time at all. We met with one plumber before FloTechs, and the experience was as different as night and day. First plumber couldn't find the leak and said we needed to open the bathroom floor, bathroom wall and a downstairs wall to find and repair the leak. We met with Flotechs for a second opinion before tearing up our house. FloTechs called to discuss my issue, then sent email updates to let us know who would be coming. It was all extremely professional and transparent. Jonnie’s knowledge and professionalism immediately put us at ease. He thoroughly checked and eliminated all possible sources- taking care to explain his reasons and teaching me a lot about my home. He then checked a suspicious radiator valve the other plumber refused to even consider, and in doing so- found the leak and repaired it in 20 minutes. Jonnie was extremely patient and kind, answering all of my remedial questions and ultimately teaching me how my home functions. I recommend FloTechs in the most enthusiastic terms possible.

2nd Use: I called Flotech again for another quick piping fixes and I called at 2pm on July 3rd and I had a plumber at my place by 4pm and the work was complete by 5pm. They are incredible, very friendly and do high quality work. 1st Use:I used Flotechs Plumbing to fix some piping in our one bathroom. The plumber was great and had everything complete in under 2 hrs. These guys are great! Have used a few times for non emergency work and always very pleased with their work. However today my hot water heater decided to begin leaking, and leaking. It's a Saturday and I did not have much hope for repair. Called Flotech, they arrived within the hour. The " boss" delivered the new water heater and it was all installed and ready to go in 3 hours! Last week we woke up to no hot water during this Covid-19 pandemic, Hot water heater leaking everywhere. I could not get a hold of any of the plumbing companies we had used in the past. I wanted someone local considering all that is happening so searched on Google and found several results. Flotechs had excellent reviews and I could tell they invest in their business from the quality of their website. I made the call and it was answered by an actual person. Josh asked me questions about the problem, had me email pictures of the existing hot water heater to reduce the number of visits, clearly explained what needed to be done, how it would get done, and the cost. I then received an appointment confirmation email clearly outlining the time and confirming the quoted fee. Shortly after I received another email introducing me to the techs that would be arriving, complete with bios, experience, and photos. Jose and Jonnie called when arriving, were very professional and friendly, never made me feel stupid for asking questions. Masks, gloves and boot covers, At 9:00 am we had a busted water heater, by 12:30 pm the same day the old one was removed and a new one installed at a fair price. Very happy with the work and how it was done. Just the thought of dealing with a home repair during distancing and all was stressful and Flotechs made it easy and stress fee. That's the mark of a good company and why we will be calling them for any future plumbing or heating repairs.

We had a major plumbing emergency on Friday 12/6/19, where the pipe leading to our boiler burst and began leaking from the ceiling into our garage, leaving us with no heat or hot water. On Saturday morning 12/7/19, I called several plumbing and heating companies, only to leave voicemail messages with no return phone calls. I searched online and found Flotechs Plumbing & Heating. I have to say I’m totally impressed with the level of service we received. Jose handled our initial phone call and immediately set up a same day appointment for us. We were the third emergency appointment for the day. Not only did I receive an appointment the same day, I got an email from Josh informing me that my plumber’s name is Dave and that he would arrive between 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Soon after I received a call from Dave at 11:50 am letting me know that he was 20 minutes away. He arrived on time and he came completely prepared to handle our plumbing emergency. Not only did Dave fix the busted pipe, he also assessed the situation and determined that the pump needed to be replaced and that this was the cause of the pipe bursting, due to the hot water just sitting in the pipe and not circulating. Did I mention he had a pump on the truck already, so we didn’t need to special order one or run out to a supply store. Dave is extremely professional and knowledgeable, not to mention he’s a very cool guy. Thank you so much to the entire staff at Flotech for handling our emergency so promptly and repairing our boiler. From now on I’ll only call Flotech!

Flotechs replaced our boiler in 2019. It was a big job with replacement of steam and hot water boilers with a condensing boiler, removal of steam radiators, extension of the hydronic baseboards and replacement of the water heater with an indirect unit. All was done on schedule and in a professional manner. Two heating seasons later everything is still working perfectly. Flotechs also did a smaller job for us, removing a leaky garbage disposal, and again did a great job. The plumbers are courteous and leave a clean worksite. I would say no job is too big or small for Flotechs and I recommend them.

If you are looking for a plumber, look no further. These guys are great. Very professional with fair prices. I hired them to replace my hot water heater and maintenance on my boiler. One of the things that I absolutely loved about them was they sent an email with the guys pictures and a little bio of who was coming to do the work. I was in desperate need of a reliable plumber! I posted on the app “Nextdoor” and was referred to FloTechs. Josh was very nice and got me a reasonable quote within a couple days. I had my leaky sink fixed, replaced an instant hot water fixture, had a new toilet and vanity installed in the bathroom and then had the valves replaced/added to the main water line in the basement. Highly Recommend. From 2017 to 2019 Few handy men to plumbers came and got paid to fix my chronic water leak issue, which was damaging the surrounding walls. Leak Problem never got solved. To put it simply - they were awesome. They arrived within the time frame they said they would, they wore face masks and booties. The work (remove the plumbing for a 100 year old shower/bath and replace it with an anti scolding valve and new controls and pipes) took 2 plumbers 1/2 a day. The work was fully explained and completed in a timely fashion (actually the same day!) The price was more than fair and reasonable. Couldn't be happier aad I can't stress this enough - they got back to me!!!

My parents were visiting, and somehow, right before bed, they caused my basement toilet to overflow and it wouldn't stop. I called Flotechs from a Google search of 24-hour plumbers, and they sent over Dave. Dave was as effective as he was sweet. He solved the problem around by half-asleep parents (in the bed outside the bathroom) with little disturbance. The cost was not terrible either, considering it was about 1 in the morning by this point. So.... if you have a plumbing emergency like your toilet blowing up in the middle of the night, I would HIGHLY recommend Flotechs!

In my estimate, Flotechs is a very professional, well run plumbing operation. I hired them to replace a broken sump pump. Flotechs Plumbing is an excellent establishement. They come out any day of the week. We had a problem with our bathroom sink drain. Special shoutout to Dave the tec who had all his supplies and parts needed to complete the job within the hour. He had no doubt about the job and it was done flawlessly; service with a smile. With his help, our bathroom was once again functional. You can pay cash, credit, or debit. They carry a card device for quick and efficient payment. No hassles. I highly recommend!

TRUE PROFESSIONALS Josh handled our request well...a wonky shower temperature handle that had been broken upon installation by the previous plumber. He did try to save us some $ but ultimately, we benefited (and willingly paid for) the personal attention afforded us by a visit from Johnnie and Nick. Johnnie diagnosed the problem, obtained a replacement part, installed it, and then explained everything. He was patient, courteous, knowledgeable, respectful of our home, and most importantly, neat.

Excellent service! Showed up FAST, and did the work BANG ON perfect. Not simple work, either. I had a clogged drain, well down in the main waste line. I had a snaking service come and clear it, but the clog had cracked a couple of pipes (a high-pressure ejector pump had come on, and the clog built up pressure in the pipe until the old cast iron cracked!) Flotechs showed up that afternoon, and the guys understood the problem immediately, suggested a solution - cut out the cracked Y all the way down the line to a joint where the configuration made it prone to clogging, and replace the section with smooth PVC pipe. For guys who work by the hour, they got right to it, and did a neat, extremely professional job. The cost wasn't cheap, but it was DONE RIGHT. Two hours @187/hr for two guys plus parts made it about $500 all in for a tricky, nasty job. Very satisfied with the work, service, professionalism. Could I have gotten it done for less? Probably, but plumbing isn't something you want to skimp on. These guys were really GREAT!! Heartily recommend this company!! I just replaced my old plumber (who wanted SIX DAYS to show up!!) in my phone with Flotechs. 100% my plumber from here on in, on commercial jobs, too!

These people are amazing. I had an emergency (hot water turned on and running full blast, but a broken handle wouldn't let it turn off). The phone was answered quickly and politely, and a very nice gentleman tried to first advise me over the phone, but I couldn't make it work, so they sent someone out almost immediately. This was a holiday! They explained everything fully, including the charges, and fixed it in an instant. I would not call anyone else. This company has it together.

These guys are my go-to plumbers. Jonnie and Nick have probably come to my house in Yonkers about 5-6 times. I have had all sorts of problems: leaking radiators, basement pipe leaks, frozen pipes, clogged sewage line, etc. Each and every time, they have come when they said they will, have identified the issue, have educated me on it, and have resolved it. They are super friendly, are active about resolving the issue asap, and clean up really well.

Second visit, with required replacement parts in hand.the problem was rectified, John explained to me in detail what the problem was and what parts needed replacement. Flotechs Plumbing & Heating recently visited my house to take a look at my Boiler and Furnace which had been acting up. The water in the house was getting cold to quick. After the Master Mechanic diagnosed the problems and explained a solution, he got started. A second Mechanic arrived and within a few hours the problems were fixed. I cannot say how much I recommend them. I called, and within ten minutes I received a response. Just from describing over the phone what was wrong they knew exactly what work needed to be done. Within the hour I had a worker here and fixing my toilet. Both the owner and associates were so kind and friendly and answered all my questions. When the tech came he put booties on so he wouldn't make a mess in my bathroom and cleaned up when he was done. Work was done in a hour, as promised.

I called many plumbers and to no avail, either they did not know what they were doing or were not capable, Flowtech was quite wonderful from the beginning from the very first call they got back to me immediately, I spoke to Josh he was very knowledgeable, and Mary the receptionist who is very accommodating Amazingly the next step was Jose Josh's partner showed up on time, in fact even earlier by 15 minutes or half hour and put on booties so as not to track of the apartment , I was quite impressed by Jose he was extremely knowledgeable and well-informed, as a matter fact he was so well-informed a lot of what he said at the time did not make sense, However, Jose is probably a plumbing genius, after the work was completed it was like a work of art, really beautiful- on the day of the appointment Dave showed up with John and, Dave called a half hour ahead of time,(An unbelievable experience), and showed up early by 15 to a half hour, laying down protective flooring, started to work, I'm not going to go into the extensiveness and how great the job was Dave was extremely personable and explained everything in detail over and over to me who as a layman and did not understand what in fact they were doing, little by little it became clear that these guys were experts in They were doing and really great artisans I cannot recommend David enough, these guys work hard and efficient and keep the budget, I've had a wonderful experience with this company and I only have the highest praise for their work
