I realized my hot water heater had gone out Thursday afternoon at 2:30. I called Mr Rooter and Brent arrived approximately 30 minutes later. He and Dayton had my new hot water heater installed before 5:00. They were extremely professional, polite and explained everything thoroughly. I’ve used Mr. Rooter in the past and have always been pleased with their work and professionalism. I will always use them for future plumbing needs.

The professionalism and work performed was great. In addition, when choosing a large company like you all, I recognize that I might pay a little more for service. However, after assessing costs, to be charged over $600 more for the installation of a water heater than a friend paid for the exact same water heater two weeks prior is price gouging in my opinion and way overpriced. I feel like that is taking advantage of a customer who needs something replaced in a timely manner. Again, service and install was good. but the labor cost for two hours worth of work was way more than it should have been.

I’ve had Mr Rooter plumbing out twice for two separate issues. Brent Weekley was able to help me with a water line issue outside, he explained what he was doing as he did and the pricing was reasonable and they were upfront about it before doing the work. Jon-Eric Kilts was the technician who came out and ran a sewer camera down our line. He let us view the monitor as he ran it down and showed that our line is in great condition. Helps that the office staff is very friendly as well! :)

First, they came out on a Sunday emergency call. Assessed problems. Did all necessary to stop further damage. Then came back first thing Monday morning, replaced hot water heater, resolved other plumbing issues re pipes, water etc for refrigerator. All this in the cold rain. We were having an estate sale and the basement floor drain started backing up. Our calls to 4 other plumbers/drain cleaning companies were going to be anywhere from 1 to 5 days. The first Technician, Tim, arrived on time, was professional and friendly. He spent a long time trying to get an accurate location and cause for the sewer blockage, while referencing notes left by a technician on a previous but different repair. He then called his office to have another technician bring out extra equipment, at no charge to me so that together they could nail down the issue. The problem was identified and clearly explained, with options for a cheap fix, not guaranteed to be successful, or a more expensive long-term solution which involved digging and adding a new clean out point to a previously inaccessible sewer line. I chose the long-term fix. Scott, whom I believe is the owner, gave me a price with a few discounts. It was more than I expected or wanted to pay to be honest, but now I have what I believe is a long-term fix for a 1950s clay sewer line that had no access for cleanout. They were able to take care of it the very next day. 2 years ago they did another repair at the distant end of that same line, the tap where it meets the city sewer, the failure was clearly visible as they showed me the camera going down the line. That job too was done quickly and professionally, with every step and every option explained clearly. On this 2nd job Tim inspected that previous repair and showed me the camera and it is clearly still solid and clean. All in all, this company has provided me with good technicians who know what they're doing, have patience, are polite and very professional, and so far I'm totally happy with the results of their work. They will give you the big picture, and if like me you have a 70-year-old clay sewer line causing problems, bear in mind that you get what you pay for. I did.

They ran the camera down clean out and saw it was clogged, after 25 years of use. Suggested using the hydra scrub and gave me a estimate. Ended up using the hydro scrub, also rinsed out the line, to check flow ,then went back and used camera to make sure clog was gone and flow was good in both clean outs. They were very nice and professional.

We have had an issue with the sewer backing up in our basement since we bought our house, 7 months ago. We've had other companies look at it but none could tell us what the issue was. We had used Mr. Rooter once before, at a previous location, and were very happy with their service. We called them again and they arrived exactly when they said they would. The technician was very helpful and ran his camera through the line. He showed me the video and explained the options for cleaning the line. We chose one of the options and two more guys showed up with the machine needed for the cleaning - one was the owner of the company! During the cleaning, they discovered the sewer line where it exits the house was damaged to the point that they recommended replacing it. He took the time to explain to me, as well as my husband and father-in-law over the phone. Not once did I feel pressured or like they were talking down to us. They just laid out the facts and took the time to answer all of our questions. We decided to replace the pipe and they had it done quickly. They were even careful not to destroy my rose bush - digging by hand around it so it wasn't damaged! We were very impressed with their professionalism and how hard they worked. Thank you Mr. Rooter!

He did a very accurate assessment of the next steps to correct our problem and called for back up assistance and additional equipment! He and Brent did a great job of getting our drains open and did multiple tests to make sure they had everything open, they cleaned up the area where they had to work and made every effort to make sure all was good before they left. I called Mr. Rooter and talked to Scott Cochran the owner at 8:00 a.m. in the morning. He found out we had 2 small children that needed their bathroom and shower. Mr. Rooter had a full schedule but Scott asked Abigail his scheduler if she could find an opening to help us in today. At 10:00 a.m. Abigail called and said someone would be over in a few minutes to help us. That was incredible quick special service. Tim the serviceman from Mr. ROOTER was very nice and very skilled. Tim was determine to fix my problem. We had two small children that needed their bathroom. He cared a great deal that these small children would be able to live in their house immediately. All the employees at Mr. Rooter were highly skilled, very nice and really cared. I would strongly recommend Mr. Rooter to all my family and friends.

Brent W has been to our home quite a few times over the last 2-3 years. Every time he has been polite, engaging, and never seemed like he didn’t have our best interest in mind. He helped us today get a new water heater talked to us about financing and made what should’ve been a very stressful frustrating situation seem fine and less scary. Would recommend him to anyone!

I had another leak near my underground sprinkler shutoff valve. They had come out a little over a year ago and replaced my sprinkler system champion valve. Once I realized that I had another leak, I called and they sent someone out immediately to shut it off. Took a couple of weeks or so but they came out and made the repair to a broken piece of PVC in about three hours. This seems to have done the trick. Since the leak was within a few inches of the valve they replace I thought they should have done this for free even though it was a couple of months past the one year point. Sadly this cost me an additional $900 +.

Service Tecnician Brent Glaser arrived on time and did a proper job for a fair price. I paid extra for a camera view after the Brent cleared the line, and it was more than worth the price. The monitor showed a substantial hole the snake had bored through the root-tangle clog. Brent then ran a larger bit through the line a second time without an extra charge to clear out the remains. He was polite, competent, and professional, and he fixed the problem. I'm keeping his business card.

Arrived promptly actually before the time they originally gave me. I have a long drain 147' long. Had it hydra washed in two hours. Tech informed me of the condition of the drain pipe and gave me recommendations on how to avoid the root problem that caused the blocked drain. I am very satisfied with the service provided.

Various size augers while showing us the scope view in real time. They had to come back with a more powerful tool to finish the job, we're here on time and finished quickly. The original cost was cut in half, and, as was discussed the bigger tool was more costly but, was as quoted with no surprise fees. Would highly recommend them based on this one time situation. I almost gave up in my search for a professional to assess my obsolete basement lift/grinder unit, but Mr. Rooter’s representative answered the phone and quickly connected me with the right professional for my job. The scheduling process was flawless and efficient and I was informed and updated via text messages so there would be no surprises. Brent assessed the services I requested, but also recommended that I replace the sump pump since it was nearing life cycle replacement. That was a good catch on his part and I believe saved me a mess down the road. He performed all services thoroughly and effectively explained what he had done in terms I could understand. I discovered today that the connections on my hot water heater were about to burst. A quick call to Mr. Rooter brought a plumber to my door within an hour. Danny Wells was extremely polite and professional. He quickly assessed the situation and got right to work . He had to replace the water heater. And he did so by himself. Which was quite a trick hauling a 13 year old water heater filled with calcium up 12 steps from my basement. When he was done he meticulously checked all of his connections and made sure there were no leaks. I am confident Mr. Rooter was the right call to solve my problem. I have a tremendous amount of confidence in their workmanship and professionalism. I had some small issues in plumbing today but Brent Weekly of Mr. Rooter handled it professionally and took just as much care as a much larger job. Very courteous and polite he was extremely helpful and proficient. Some people dread calling a plumber but with the positive experiences I have had with Mr. Rooter instead of anxiety I can now call them with relief. Thanks Brent you were great today.

I called at 8:00 a.m. and within 45 minutes the gentleman was out. He gave us two options for repairing the water heater and we chose replacement. He completed the work quickly and cleaned up everything. 5 stars for Mr. Rooter!

One company asked for $100 to even show up to give me quotes for work, what?? 2 companies didn't even answer their phones, and one company gave me a $3,000 quote doing no inspection, and turns out he was wrong and that would have basically been $3,000 down the drain. We had a “middle of the night” water backup due to sewer line had become plugged and the water softener waste water couldn’t bypass the clog and backup up into the basement utility area. Yes, middle of the night flooding truly is stressful. We immediately called Mr. Rooter. Brady Basgall was the technician. He arrived on schedule, professionally dressed, polite and very focused on making sure he understood our issue and fixing it on the fastest, less cost impacting way. He kept us informed of everything he was seeing along the way and advised of what would be the best solution to remedy. After analyzing them potential cause of the water backup, he advised it might be in best interest to start out with scope first, to determine if it was an actual clog or other issue. The scope is much less expensive then going straight to a Rooter cable. Plus, he advised that most of the time, he clear a lot of the clogs with the camera itself, thereby preventing having to charge more for a Rooter cable. Plus, he advised that if the camera does find the clog and can’t clear it, and he would have to use the Rooter cable, he will then not charge the camera effort and merely charge the Rooter cable effort only. Brady exhibited complete professional attitude the whole time he was here. He was polite, professional and very focused on meeting our needs in the most efficient, economical and less intrusive method possible. The other benefit of using Mr. Rooter, is that you can sign up for an optional 3 year coverage protection plan, that provides you with reduced pricing, priority attention in emergency situations, and overall working history of efforts competed at your location, to better assist future technician of prior issues and fixes. Additional discounts are also applied to any other service or product you choose to have them provide or perform. If I ever have another issue related to the type of work they perform, I will always call them first.

Scott and Brent of Mr. Rooter removed our old 1-piece shower, then installed a new 48” Sterling 4-piece shower, plus new plumbing for the shower. Before the work was started, we were told and shown shower options and received a detailed estimate. In choosing a shower, we were offered much creative leeway. There was never any lag time in communication. The shower is exactly what we wanted and the installation looks perfect. After the shower was installed, they continued to work non-stop on replacing our water main shutoff valve, a damaged section of the floor and drain pipe for the toilet, the toilet flange, and the toilet shutoff valve. With the additional work they completed, our bathroom is now ready to have the floor tiled. All of the work was completed in one day. Scott and Brent each gave us expert advice and helpful information, which we really appreciate. Such as shower head placement, suggesting tiling above the shower if we wanted, identifying that our water main shutoff valve wasn’t working properly, explaining the floor repair, and even recommending a drywall installer to tape and mud. They were knowledgeable, polite, professional, organized, and efficient. Both were diligent in making sure we were happy with the product and service we received and completely cleaned up before leaving. Our experience with Mr. Rooter was excellent and without stress. We plan to use their service again.

I had a main sewer line backup in my house twice. They came out and fixed both instances and used cameras to figure out what caused the second instance. At first I thought I was going to have to have my line dug up in my backyard but they were able to clear whatever was causing the issue. I was told "I would love to sell you something but you don't need anything. If it were my house I would leave everything as is." I know people have horror stories with plumbers but I have absolutely no reason to look for anyone else. Any plumbing needs should be handled by Mr. Rooter without question! The delivery company was unable to hook up my washer due to how corroded the water valve was, so I contacted various companies and Mr. Rooter was the only one that was available to come fix the issue the same day. The technician came at the expected time and gave me an estimate right away. He not only took care of replacing the water valve but also hooking up my washer! Very quick to come out and access the problem. It was a very cold day and according to other plumbers we had called, "pipes were bursting all over Wichita." Our service technician, Brady Basgall was at our home within 20 minutes after we made the call. He was very professional in accessing the problem. He offered to us 3 options to fix the problem. There was no pressure from Brady while we discussed the options. Once a decision was made, Brady capped the pipe allowing us to use our water until the repairs could be made. He had to dig around the back of the house looking for a main drain cleanout, after not finding one he had to snake out the drains. We discovered that our basement floor drain was backing up at about 7:30pm and Mr. Rooter had a plumber out to us by 9:00pm. Jesse worked hard for over two hours, but was unable to clear the blockage. Nevertheless, Mr. Rooter had a crew out in the morning to make a temporary fix so we could use the sewer system again. While it took five business days to get the crew out to install the cleanouts in the backyard and another 4 business days to get my fence back up, the job was done well and $550 under the initial estimate. It was worth the wait. Overall, I found the customer service skills of the people with whom I had contact (Jesse, Chris, Scott, and Jeff) to be top notch. I hope I never have to call a plumber again, but if I do, I'll be calling Mr. Rooter.

They discovered the blockage was due to a collapsed sewer line and 20' of the line would need replaced. Making matters worse is this section was under a concrete patio. I'm very pleased with the work their crew did and the weather conditions they were working in was pretty miserable with it being cold, windy and rain mixed with snow. After coming out to help unclog the drain initially they found that our sewer had disconnected from the main line. Thus our issue needed to be fixed sooner rather than later. The team at Mr Rooter pulled permits and called dig safe that afternoon and they were at our house first thing the next morning and they fixed us up good as new. We live in a subdivision and they also took great care in not tearing up our grumpy neighbors grass with the excavator. Their customer service is top notch, from the staff in the office to everyone out in the field, and they know what they’re doing! Not only do they do good work, but their prices are fair too!

July 30, 2019 early afternoon. Blew off an in-line filter in our basement allowing full flow water down to the floor with encroaching into other rooms. Fortunately, I was able to make it to the shut off in time but this left us with no plumbing services and much clean up. I called two other national chains but they were 36 and 48 hours out. I turned to Mr. Rooter and got a very courteous dispatch who was genuinely concerned for our circumstance. I believe her name is Tye. She did her magic and got us a repairman to our home within the hour. Wow ! Our repairman, Nate Warnke, professional from the moment he arrived. He surveyed the situation and gave me a price for needed repairs immediately. I accepted and he was off performing the work with skill; and, he did not even care that I watched him all the way. I was able to learn about the fittings used and the pro press handheld that allowed him to complete the work torch-less. I was impressed. He completed by checking his work and even checked it a second time by my request. My wife and I are so grateful that we are able now to put this behind us and happy that we were able to have Mr. Rooter perform the work. I will definitely recommend Mr. Rooter and technician Nate Warnke. And, kudos to Tye as well.
