Upon renovating an old guest apartment, which the plumbing situations had been unkept for sometimes - Matt came by for a service call, he took at look at the issues I was dealing with and quickly provided solutions and knowledge behind them! I appreciated the kindness, punctuality and hard work he provided. I’m super busy so I left him at my house to do get started, while I was at work. Matt kept contact with his progress. When he had completed the work he cleaned everything up well and gave me a call to come check things out. Not only was the service great, but the speed and ease of getting so much work done, was genuinely appreciated. In 24 hrs I had received a full estimate, had a cast iron sink removed, new sink installed with garbage disposal, installed a new toilet, secured another toilet, changed the Ptraps through out and provided me with further knowledge of the plumbing situations at the property. Home improvements can be daunting and intimidating. Matt did a great job to help me accomplish the updates with zero stress. Pics to prove it!

Today our A/C unit quit working in the wonderful 100+ degree weather we have been having. We called around to several places and Neerings was so fast to respond. Within 2 hrs of calling they had a technician out to the house, and he knew the problem right away. He called the store, and another technician came right out with the part. I called Neerings to have someone help me with clogged toilets at my rental property, Keith and Jackson responded to the property the same day. They were very informative and extremely professional. Prices were great too!! on top of how professional and friendly they were, Keith informed me of some deliveries I had at the property and did me a huge favor of bringing my boxes to their office free of charge. Neerings came through in the clutch. Our water tank was having issues and on the same day I called an on-call plumber, Santana, came to the rescue. Christy, the office manager, was so helpful in answering my questions and getting the needed support out. Santana was very thorough in the inspection of the leak and problems and other faulty areas. The price was appropriate for the fix and everything was done timely. Santana worked cleanly and picked up everything like he wasn't even there. This is why I call this company. I paid for the annual maintenance spring/fall check, plumbing and electrical check to keep our home running smoothly. Thank you! Being out of hot water is the worst.

Tyson and Keith are INCREDIBLE! They came out to scope the sewer line of a duplex I had under contract. I AM SO THANKFUL they came out because we found out the main sewer line was toast. I live in the Aix La Chapelle condominium complex. Each condo has a fan coil unit. The complex was build in the 60s, and most of the fan coil units are in need of replacement. Mine was still working, but I wanted to replace it before it failed. I was nervous that it would flood my place - and the condos below mine - if I didn’t preventatively replace it. The condo complex has one recommended plumbing/heating/cooling contractor. That contractor gave me a quote to replace the fan coil unit with an identical system. I wanted to do my due diligence and got other quotes because it was going to be expensive. These systems are unique, especially in Utah. I called a dozen or so HVAC specialists and was told again and again that they couldn’t help me. Then Jim from Neerings came to check out the system. He told me that the price quoted from the HOA recommended contractor seemed reasonable. He explained that his team could build me a customized system that would be easier to service and maintain than what I currently had, but it would be more expensive than the price the HOA recommended contractor quoted me. I decided to go with Neerings because I couldn’t find anyone other than the HOA recommended contractor who could work on the existing equipment, and I didn’t want to be so dependent on the HOA recommended contractor. Neerings ran up against some challenges while trying to replace the system. Water is constantly running through the system, which serves the entire complex, and the shut-off valves in my unit were broken. Neerings had to buy a tool to freeze the pipes in order to replace the shut-off valves. They were a little hesitant to do this because they don’t have a large need for that equipment in Utah and because they have to take on more liability when freezing pipes. Pretty quickly they decided to buy the equipment. It seemed like they really cared about getting this job done for me. Throughout the process the Neerings team helped me communicate with the HOA manager to coordinate and complete the replacement. They were very patient, persistent, professional, resourceful, and friendly. The old system only let me control whether the fan was on or off. The new system lets me have the fan on two different speeds. The faster speed is sometimes necessary to keep the place at a comfortable temperatures, but it is relatively loud, so it is nice have a lower speed available.

He viewed our ductwork and verified the new registerserified our ductwork, viewed and calculated the correct sizing of A/C & furnace combo we purchased. They agreed to come out the same day, and were here in less than 2 hours with a 30-minute courtesy call. Keith and Jackson were great! Very professional and knowledgeable. After fixing the drain clog, Keith gave us some good tips on how to prevent future issues. They even took the time to check out another pipe issue in the garage. Our swamp cooler line broke and flooded causing a lot of damage. It is super hot out so anxious to get swamp cooler running again. Their technicians John and Mike? did a great job of recommending something so it would never cause damage again. The repairs were quick and their company was able to get us scheduled within 48 hours. It was extremely expensive and, as of this writing, I have not received my receipt. They also forgot to turn the water to the swamp cooler back on so I ran my swamp cooler dry for two hours. I suppose that one is on me though because I should have checked. Otherwise very good experience.

We purchased our home recently and had the team come out for a check-up and ended up having to replace our a/c and water heater - and bc of utility room spacing, ended on replacing the furnace as well. I had "Gut", nickname, come out to look at my swamp cooler (installed Sept. 2021 by Neering's Plumbing and Heating). He was wonderful! He made me comfortable from the first moment we spoke. He found that the water hose was clogged by manufacturing dust and that the water pump was not working correctly. HUGE THANK YOU to Keith and Kris for doing such an incredible job on our garbage disposal clog and bathroom sink clog. What I really loved is they didn’t try to over sell us on what we needed. Our quote had come in quite high. After they got in there and assessed what was really going on they were able to fix the issue at about a 70% lower cost than originally quoted. It’s been about a month since they fixed our sinks and they are working perfectly. They were very honest and thorough. I would most definitely recommend them and this company. They definitely know their stuff and most importantly don’t try to do work that is not needed just to get more money. I fully trust this company and these two guys and highly recommend them. Michael Flores and Mike Jones were the techs who assisted me. I was worried as a previous company had frauded me for this same job. Michael F showed up on time for the free inspection. He checked out my system and ducting and explained the process and options as well as explaining exactly what the minimum package included. He showed me images of previous work and cost. He then was able to book the job immediately and Michael J came with the main truck. They cleaned the vents and all the ducting and intake vents. They cleanes up any mess. It was a smooth and comfortable process. My partner has horrible allergies and just shortly after they left she could feelna difference and even more so the next day. They deserve a raise a nd massive kudos. Yall have a continued customer i will most def be reaching out for any other issues or help!!

Lance was great! I discovered that my sewer mainline was clogged and backed up last night after draining a tub. After a chemical mainline cleaner did not fix the problem overnight, I started to call plumbing services to get quotes to auger the line. I just wanted quotes to justify the cost and effort to rent an auger from the home improvement store and do it myself. Lance was able to come out within a couple of hours (other plumbing services said the earliest they could come for a nonemergency was the next day). He was kind and professional and walked me through their process and what he recommended for the immediate solution as well as permanent solution. Honestly, even if I did try to do it myself his walkthrough would have made it much easier (I don't have a typical access point to the mainline and his solution was a lot better than what I was going to try). Well thanks to Lance, I decided to let Neerings do the job (considering his experience, equipment, speed, convenience, and the agreed upon price). And I am very glad I did! Lance, Tyson, and Jackson quickly problem solved the line access issue, augered the line removing the clog, and scoped the line to verify the line was cleaned and to recommend and quote the permanent solution. It was definitely worth it. I would recommend them and I will probably go with them in the future!

We had our basement drain backing up into the house -- they evaluated the situation, provided us a reasonable estimate, and got to work clearing the main sewer line from our house to the street. While they were down there, they scoped the pipe and sat down with us to guide us through the camera feed with what they did and what issues still remain with our pipe, from intruding roots that will be on ongoing issue, to separated clay pipe segments, to aging cast iron. Neerings sent a technician to work on our swamp cooler much faster than other companies. They were professional and punctual, and restored the power to our roof unit. However, they wanted to charge $1000 to replace a $200 motor that didn't need replacing, and a failure to properly tension the belt left the unit making noises and not transferring power to the fan drum. 10 minutes, a hammer and some nuts and bolts, and I have fixed it myself.

I called Neerings because I noticed a leak in my water heater. After an initial consultation with Pete Savage, it was determined that the unit had rusted internally and needed to be replaced. I was very impressed with Pete's knowledge and patience in explaining what caused the problem and how to prevent it in the future. Nick was very good at educating us overall regarding how our system worked, and why we were having issues. He then was able to repair it quickly and without leaving any messes behind. This last week our thermostat and furnace became unresponsive after a power surge in our home. Neerings was super responsive and sent over someone immediately to help us get the heat back on, except we asked for an electrian and initially got an HVAC guy... Jim, the HVAC person who arrived, quoted us $1400 to replace the furnace control board despite acknowledging that we had an electrical issue and that replacing the control board would not fix the problem. $1400 is an outrageous price for an installation that should cost no more than $600. He stated we needed to replace the control board in order for the furnace to work. When leaving, he scheduled the electrian to come. Since they sent over an HVAC person when we had specifically asked for an electrician, they waived the 2nd $89 fee to have the electrians come over that afternoon. I'm giving Neerings 5 stars because the electrians who came were both awesome. Mark and Brynn were professional and were able to fix some of the electrical issues in our living room and look into the electrical panel to see if they could see an electrical issue between the power going to the furnace. They also took the time to give me a few quotes for other electrical projects we wanted to have done since we have an older 1940s home. After they left, I was able to call a family member for advice, and we were able to get the furnace back on within a few minutes. It turned out that the furnace was just shorted due to our power surge. We just turned it off and turned it back on. Makes me wonder why the HVAC guy couldn't do that? Anyways, Neerings was super responsive and the electrians were professional. What would otherwise be a negative review ended up to be a positive experience. Just make sure you're not getting bullied into paying an unreasonable amount for products and services you don't need. Always get a 2nd quote (or 3rd, or 4th) so you don't get scammed out of your money.

They were able to schedule a plumber and electrician to come out a few hours later. I was especially impressed with the professionalism and help offered by their plumber Jeff Long. He took his time checking each location as to where the leak could have potentially came from and explained it to me what could have been the causes. I felt he went above and beyond in looking into the what could be causing the issue. Fast service! Water heater failed and they were on site in east than an hour of calling. New unit installed and all is well. Very professional and love the service carpets they used to keep my house clean. I will be using them again for other services. UPDATE: I had a chance to compare the costs of the services and found I paid about $2000 more than 2 other companies quoted. This was really disappointing. I did check the retail prices of the water heater and pressure regulator and confirmed the difference. I wish I had quoted the service first but I was leaving on a vacation and did not take the time. My mistake. The service was great but I should have shopped the total price first. Update: make sure you get several bids as the Bill I paid was much higher than other companies for the same equipment. I was leaving town and I didn’t have time to do this . My mistake.

We recently had to replace an old dryer vent and had a couple of proposals which would have required tearing apart a basement ceiling to install. Mike and Pablo From Neerings HVAC came anticipating that they would complete the project the same way others had planned. Updated review. After having had trouble with the technician honoring the price of the coupon we were able to have it resolved through customer service. They took the bill from $469 down to the original price of $69. I'm happy we were able to get the price resolved. Thank you to the helpful customer service representatives. The technician did a good job unclogging our kitchen sink and explained what our issue was. However, he was four hours late to the appointment. Just be aware upfront that they might try to increase the price and maybe get an agreed price before you get them to come out.

Curtis came out on a Saturday after they couldn't make it to out Friday appointment. We had some duct problems and wanted to get the furnace serviced for the winter. He was able to diagnose our duct issue and recommend a few options to get it fixed. The previous owners had not serviced the furnace for at least three years and the build up was very bad. He was able to clean it up, took before and after pictures to show us and if you purchase the care package they will come out and inspect the electrical and plumbing once a year for free. Soon after he left they were calling us to set up the electrical appointment because we had mentioned that we wanted to get some things checked out. Great service, will for sure use in the future.

On June 23rd, we had the below-mentioned soft-water system installed. Pete and Jason arrived as scheduled After Pete did some preliminary electrical work, Jason completed the installation which included digging two holes in our crawlspace so that the tanks could be properly placed, running pipes, filling the salt container and many other steps in the process. Both were professional, efficient, and careful with their work. We have thoroughly enjoyed the new soft-water system. We have dealt with Pete Savage several times to repair the plumbing in our old house. He has always given us great service. This time, he cleared the clogged drain in our bathtub. It works great now. He also sold us on a soft water system to be installed in a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to that.

Nate showed up within the 3-hour window (4-7pm), took the time to properly troubleshoot our heating issue AND more importantly educated me on how every facet of our boiler, domestic hot water, and radiant floor heat systems worked (since we just bought the house this summer). Three stars is five for service and one for price.I had my kitchen sink unclogged with a snake, which took about 40 minutes. The two young men who did the job were very nice and professional. The bill was $517, which I felt was too much. I was in a bind, so I paid it, but I will not call them again. I don't really know the going rate for a clogged sink so judge for yourself.

I wanted to install an outdoor whole-house generator before winter, and Neerings had the right sized generator in stock. I've used Neerings for 20 years for plumbing, and didn't realize they install Generac generators too. The location I chose for the generator was on a slope, and they did a thorough job of stabilizing the area and carefully installed the generator with rebar and concrete foundation. Very thorough indeed. They piped natural gas to the generator, as well as electric connections to the house, and they tested it to be sure it was working at the end of the process. It took about 3 full days. Neerings honors its commitments and does excellent work. I highly recommend Neerings for generators as well as plumbing and electric services!

We had Neerings install our furnace at my in-laws home over 5 years ago. My mother in law had back surgery recently and I was asked to install a new filter in the furnace. Dan Huntington was awesome, he came out to do a routine heater and A.C. check and found several safety issues and some things not being up to code on our older house. We decided to purchase and replace out heater as it was a safety hazard, he helped us with several options and ultimately upgraded to a central air system. He found a flashing issue on the roof and fixed it for us as we had the roof done the same week, as well as tune up our waterheater. Our tub faucet was leaking and was difficult to turn on and off. I called on a Saturday morning and Mike Hansen came out that afternoon. He took the faucet apart, clean and lubed it up. Works good as need. Only had to pay for a regular service call. $49.00!! Mike was great. Very professional and provided great explanations of what he was doing and why he was doing it. Provided several options to resolve the problem in the future, and left bids for those options. I will definitely call and ask for Mike if I have problems in the future.

I recommend you give them a chance. Neerings' pricing seems higher than their competition, but they have a plumber Pete Savage I highly recommend (and they certify their plumbers higher, to be able to do more). After a less-than-ideal visit from plumber Jeff, I was contacted by customer service manager Mike Dixon who apologized for my having an experience that I rated low. He said he wanted to make it right. This means a lot to me! Things may go wrong anywhere, but when the company management wants to make it right and earn a loyal customer, they're worth sticking with. This four-star review is not five because the first visit wasn't ideal, but still high because I found they will make it right, and they will send Pete Savage who is truly amazing. Pete also gave me a quote for an Air Conditioning system, and seemed very competent.

I had Brendon and Ammon out at my house to correct a leaking swamp cooler. They showed up and carried out a quick and thorough examination of what the issue was. They explained to me that the fix was pretty straightforward and made sure that I understood exactly what it was they were going to do. I was given the price and I opted to have them complete the repairs. The finished the job quickly (maybe 45 minutes) and then ensured me that the problem was solved. Fabulous that I could call Neerings and get service the next day! This time it was for my cabin in the mountains, which meant a drive for the plumber, Dan Huntington. He was so cheerful and helpful and considerate of me and of my plumbing issues. It was only a few minutes before he identified the problem, then he got supplies from his truck and repaired a few small items. In addition, Dan checked every bit of plumbing in the cabin, took care of small issues like cleaning faucet strainers, and finally assured me that everything was in working order. They are always on time or at least call when they may be running late and are always considerate of keeping their work area and our house clean. Our air conditioning broke down on a Thursday night. I called the company we had worked with before as well as several others. No one could send someone until Monday or Tuesday. Neerings was able to send someone first thing Friday morning. Waylon came out and determined that we would need to replace the unit. He found one that afternoon and came back Saturday to install it. I'm sure he could have put us off until Monday, but gave up his Saturday and worked in 104 degree weather to help us out. He was friendly, efficient, and hard working. Neerings is lucky to have him as an employee. And what's even better, the new unit saved us $100 on our power bill compared to last year's bill for the same time period! Next time we have plumbing, heating, or cooling problems, we will definitely call Neerings.

We rely on Neerings for all kinds of things related to plumbing, our AC, the water heater and the heating system. They replaced an AC unit for us in the spring and identified a problem with our furnace. The service professionals took time to explain the problem, show us the issue in the unit and explained our options. The empowered us with information so that we could make the best decision on how to proceed because of that, we were able to delay the repair until the fall when we could save a bit for the cost of the repair. The Neerings technicians are experienced professionals who really know their stuff. When Kurry T. walked into my utility room to repair my furnace, he immediately new that there was a problem with the venting and the way that the original contractor installed the duct work. They not only fixed my furnace, but they fixed the venting problem at the same time. Great customer service. Punctual. True to their word and have a "whatever it takes" mentality.

Truly the best and the only company I call anymore. Neerings has done a full bathroom remodel for me, put in a new gas line, and most recently a new electricity meter and panel. Jaren and Marc did the electrical work and I was so happy with the entire experience. Jaren is a literal angel who came out a couple times in advance to install the stuff outside, in the freezing winter, so that on the day we'd have a power shut-off my electricity wouldn't be out for any longer than it had to be. He deserves the fattest raise you can give him. They were friendly, considerate, professional, efficient, showed up on time and ready to work every time they came, and left my house clean and in working order. Also the office staff are very nice. Chris, who I've talked with a lot for scheduling and financing, is always helpful and communicative. And when I planned my bathroom remodel with Robert (? I think that was his name, the sales guy), he was SO patient with me as I texted him about a million pictures off Pinterest and had him calling a dozen places to order all the unique parts I wanted. Their prices are also reasonable, and any time I've gotten a quote from someone else, Neerings had the better price for the same work. So really, there's no point in going with anyone else anymore. While I'm reviewing, I also have to mention the time that Dwayne came to my house right after we bought it to try to help me identify a nasty smell (the gas leak)... While he was here, he walked me around my whole house, inside and out, and taught me how everything worked because I was a clueless first-time home owner and he informed me I need to know how to shut off my gas, water, and electricity ;) He was so sweet and actually came out several times while we were investigating the smell situation and he was always willing to spend as much time here as it took. He always made me laugh and I'm pretty sure he never charged me (sorry Neerings ;) ). Was so sad to hear that he passed, I will miss him. Anyway, thank you Neerings for hiring only the best and for having such high standards for all your techs. Keep up the amazing work!

Nick Taylor is the Best! On Friday, July 22, 2016 (HOT, HOT, HOT DAY) my house was 87 degrees inside at 5:00 p.m. and the air had been on all day. I was accounting supervisor of an HVAC contractor for over 25 years so I called the retired Refrigeration guy. the current company guy, a retired neighbor who sold his company and no one could help especially on Friday before a 3-day holiday. Called my family and they tried to help. Then I remembered Neerings. Called at 9:30 p.m. on Friday - requested "on call" person and by 10:30 p.m. NICK TAYLOR was there. He diagnosed the problem, didn't have the unique part I needed so he put a temporary fix on the A/C unit and got us cooling. House-full of guests was on way from TX. By midnight the temp was down to 82 and by next day it was cooling as expected. Nick knew no parts houses would be open until Tuesday but we were OK, Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. he called, he had found the part and was on his way. By 9:30 am we were up and running and his repair price was very reasonable. Good technician, clean employees, clean trucks, know what they are doing and Nick called back and kept us up to date. Neerings has helped me a few times with clearing my main sewage drain and i always was satisfied with their professional and very friendly work however i had a sudden kitchen sink drain leak and i feel their price for the repair was very excessive. I respect this company and fully understand their business of full repairs however $1700.00 for a cast iron drain leak repair seemed ridiculous especially when i was able to JB weld the leak for simply 10 dollars and 20 minutes of my time. I fully understand JB weld isn't Neerings way of a repair and actual repairs is their way but seriously, 1700 bucks?? I've paid 370 for their main sewage line clearing service 3 times in 3 years to avoid a one time suggested $7000 total sewage upgrade but why does it cost so much for a simple non pressurized pipe leak? Very friendly staff and prompt service otherwise.

Since we bought our house, we've had Neerings out a handful of times. The house is old and plumbing needed work but every time it's been pretty awesome. We've probably had 6 different guys out and each time they've been super friendly and very knowledgeable. They are very helpful in pointing out things that may need fixing later and things that need attention right away, and always fix the problem very quickly. We've had them out to fix a busted water pipe, repair some piping in the bathroom, repair piping in the basement, replace our water heater, and even run a water line up to the fridge in the kitchen. The work is always flawless. I highly recommend giving these guys a call for your plumbing needs!

We had Fernando from neergings open our Swamp cooler for the summer and he was very personable and professional. A very good employee for Neergings. However, Neergings was twice as expensive as others an would not give a quote over the phone, the operator said she did not have that information. I probably would have paid the extra bu they charge $89 just to show up so then you are reluctant to not have them do the work. The dispatcher should be able to tell you what a standard service might cost and when the first available appointment for that service is. While I would use Fernando again I will not have Neergings shut the cooler down in the fall.

We needed an analysis of our hot water system...pressure, water delivery to kitchen and age of hot water heaters. While replacing the aged heaters the workers suggested we consider a hot water loop to the kitchen. Now we have instant hot water instead of waiting three minutes and wasting water. The workers were excellent and made great suggestions. We took their suggestion to have our furnaces serviced this year along with a program for us to change filters on a timely basis. A Neerings plumber, "Maloni" arrived the next morning as promised. He was respectful, pleasant, knowledgeable and highly competent.
