Used ER Plumbing for a heating system repair (burst pipe). Chris called me back promptly after I sent a repair request. Made sure over the phone that things were secure for the evening. He came our the next day to check on the issue. We decided it could wait a day since they had more pressing heating issues with other customers given the recent cold snap. He arrived as promised the next day and did the repair quickly. The price was very fair given the work involved.

I called Ray and he answered at 11:50 pm. I had googled ‘“help with home emergency plumbing” after I had called my local plumbers and couldn’t get a response. I just want to reiterate that Ray answered a call from an unknown number at 11:50pm and he answered and then asked how he could help! Although Ray did not physically come to my house and fix the plumbing issues, if I lived closer to his business I would hire him in a heartbeat. He answered a call and helped.

I’m so grateful to ER for helping my family fix a break on our main line right before Christmas, which had put the brakes on our plans of cooking, baking, and guests. Had an issue with an appt I scheduled (no-show, no communication) and initially left a bad review. I was in the process of scheduling with another company when they were kind enough to reach out to me and confirm that there was a system issue/error that resulted in me not being scheduled. Because they were professional, apologetic, and wanted to make things right - they had someone come right over (which I was okay with). They diagnosed, assessed the cost, installed the part, and fixed the issue quickly. Now the kids are warm again. Glad the issue is resolved and I can (hopefully) rely on them in the future. Great guy! He was so nice and professional and fast! I had another company come in an hour or so before him to check on my heat. The first guy was from Atlantis heating and he told me I need an entirely new heating system is gonna cost me $12,000. Mind you I miss single mom of two and I had no heat for a couple of days. He said there was no way he could repair my heating system. The gentleman from emergency heating came in and fixed in like an hour firm pennies on that price. Highly recommend this very honest company!

I own a rental property in Johnston, my tenants called to tell me the heat stopped working, the temp was going to be 18 degrees that night, and it was after 530pm. I know. The panic set in. I called my usual plumber but he didn't have anyone on call. I looked at reviews online to try to find a business who had good reviews and most importantly could come quickly. I called one plumbing company call center and they said they would call me back. I waited 15-20 minutes. No luck. I called Emergency Response Plumbing and Heating and spoke with Ray. He was courteous and said he was the person who would be answering the call and checking out my problem. I live 35 minutes away from the rental property and Ray is out of Warwick so it wouldn't take him more than 20 minutes to get there. By the time I arrived, Ray had met with my tenant, figured out the problem and waited a few minutes to make sure the problem was fixed before he left I know if I'm in a pickle again, I know just the business to call. I read some low reviews from other people but all I can say is that ERPH showed up quickly, fixed the problem and were very professional and courteous. They can have my business time and time again. What a saviour and stress relief!

My AC went down on one of the hottest days this summer. Everyone else I called was already overbooked or could not give me a solid idea when they could come out. Emergency Response was there the very next morning right on time. I had a shorted relay in the condenser that needed to be replaced. Easy to schedule appointment online. The technician was able to resolve our problem in 10 mins (fixing national grid technician not turning stuff back on) but still paid full price, however, they came back out next day no charge when we experienced issues again. I was away in FL when my tenants in Providence told me their heat wasn't working on a cold Sunday morning. I didn't know how I was going to take care of it from so far away. After calling two companies and getting answering machines, I called Emergency Response and someone answered. He said I would get a call within an hour. Chris called and said he would fit it into his schedule. He was very helpful and asked for my tenants' phone number. He said he would call and arrange to be let into the house so I could enjoy my vacation. He fixed the heating problem and called me for a credit card number, and emailed me a receipt. The price was very reasonable for an emergency on a Sunday morning. My tenants said he was friendly and polite and explained to them what he was doing. I would definitely call this company again.

ER Plumbing made sure I had stopped the leak over the phone-even helped me troubleshoot why it was still leaking after I had shut the water supply off. Three nights before Christmas (around 9pm), my furnace suddenly stopped working properly. It was lighting all the burners and then abruptly shutting off. I called Emergency Response and the man who answered the phone immediately knew what the issue was (the flame sensor) and told me how to quickly clean it off with some steel wool or sandpaper. Surprised, I thanked him, and 5 minutes later my furnace was working again. Emergency Response saved me a costly service call from another heating company and also got my heat back on quickly on a cold night. I'll be calling them as needed in the future.

The website said anyone, anywhere in the US could ask a question and receive a response for free. My non-profit employer was experiencing a plumbing issue for which the Landlord's response seemed inadequate relative to the situation. So I gave it a try and called the number, the plumber who answered was very helpful with his free response and provided good information that assisted our organization in response to the plumbing concern.
