We contacted DiRocco Plumbing about having them come out to do routine maintenance on our heating and water heater systems, but in the meantime, our garbage disposal started leaking. We immediately contacted DiRocco, and they were able to send out two people the following morning to take a look. The disposal was very old and completely shot, so it was a quick fix for them to quote and fit in a new one they had in their truck. Very reasonable pricing, quick and efficient work, and nice people! We look forward to working with them again in the future, and they would be the first we would contact with any other plumbing needs.

Had a bit of a boiler nightmare and they were able to get to my house the same day to diagnose the issue, found the weird part and replaced it within just a few days even though the breakdown happened just before the holiday weekend. Another issue had come up and he was able to fix it same day for a great price. We had a leak that got worse on the weekend. We called DiRocco and they out 2 plumbers. They replaced the shower pipes that mixed the hot and cold water and they also installed levers so we could turn off the hot and cold water if needed. They also found that the water main valve going into the house wasn't closing completely so the replaced it with a lever. They completed all the work quickly and efficiently. Great job!

Pat and his team were incredibly responsive to me as I began having issues with my (very old and troublesome) water-heater/boiler combo unit. Even with it being a holiday weekend, Pat almost immediately followed up on my phone call to make sure that I had heat. The next day one of his techs came out to fix the issue. I sadly cannot remember the techs name, but he was wonderful - personable, answered all my questions, and explained everything he was doing. The issue was resolved promptly. When another part of my unit began having issues a few days later (in no way related to the repair they made earlier in the week), Pat again returned my phone call immediately, helped me troubleshoot the issue, and answered all of my questions even though I'm sure some of them were a little silly! I greatly appreciate how kind Pat and his team have been to me, especially considering I know nothing about heating/plumbing repairs and I get incredibly nervous any time anything goes wrong. I also appreciate how transparent they are with their prices, and how honest they are with repair options. Needless to say I would recommend DiRocco to anyone and will be happy to work with them in the future.

Pat showed up and went right to work. He explained why the old unit failed, and what he needed to do to install the new unit. I was amazed how quickly the whole job was done. He had an assistant with him and treated the young man very well which spoke volumes to me about Pat's character. You could tell the both of these men have done a thousand of these installs by how competently they worked. These are super experienced guys. I already have plans for Pat to come back and address some concerns I have with my sump pump. It's great to know I've got a local guy who's just a phone call away whenever I've got plumbing issues.

Patrick responded immediately (on a Sunday) and came on the next day when he said he would. (As a side note, don't use Skawski HVAC company. He gave me an appointment for Saturday morning and never showed up, didn't return calls, and then hung up on me. Not to mention that his rates are much higher.) Pat was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. Came to solve the mystery of my boiler not working and solved it within minutes. His rates are reasonable and worth every penny. I had them do several jobs in late 2018: basement sink faucet replacement, ball valve install onto main water line and outdoor faucet replacement - got a free estimate and got 3 of the 4 things done that I could afford. Good friendly and timely - their prices were inline with the other 3 estimates I got and I went with them bc of their reviews and reputation. Currently we had a leak. They came the next day to repair the tub faucet. It needed a rebuild inside the knob. Job was done correctly and I agreed to the cost on the phone, and I did mention my concern about the price being high, $400. That included the diagnostic fee and "come to the house" fee ($135). I called with a follow up to get the breakdown of the summarized invoice and Pat let me know that they have a flat fee structure.As it was explained to me is that they contract out work and have a $4000 a month in advertising bill. I thought they were a small, local, family business - apparently not if advertising is that much. I try to be fair in my reviews and if I was a jerk I'd give an F. but they aren't an F. their service is an A but their pricing, to me, is a C- and I think people deserve to know about the flat pricing, that they say all plumbers are doing now. Basically, it's a like a car dealership's auto repair. You have a job and they have a universal flat price linked to that, whether it takes 1 hour or 5. Clearly if it's less time, it benefits them, or more time then it benefits the consumer - so there's risk there on either side but if you agree to a price it's a done deal. However, the skew to the house comes from things like my faucet rebuild. It's a 30-60 min job and the part is about $100. For them to come to the house is $35 plus $100 diagnostic fee = $135 just to come inside and let me know the problem, which wasn't a complicated issue. It's a faucet. I was called and told the job is $400 all in. So here's the skew - I knew it was high but I'd have to put out $135 and get someone else do do the job under $265 to save $10 ? (I estimate the job being $100 part plus 1 hour labor which is on the high end $100 so about $200ish. give or take - I thought it'd be $250) So you're trapped and left feeling screwed over, because, well.. you are. When I relayed this to Pat and he explained their costs - it basically boils down to these small overpriced jobs crutch flat rated jobs that take more time then they think will. I don't believe in that system which is why I go to a family mechanic and get a breakdown of my services, parts and labour. I know what I'm paying for and it's full disclosure. I will not be using them again, however this does NOT reflect their service or abilities or professionalism. They are all those and highly competent, as previously stated. I dont agree with the pricing methods, especially on a $200 job being $400. That is exploiting and it makes me very sour about a company especially when you're over a barrel and already into it for the $135 up front fee. Ok, well that's my take... may your lives be leak free!

He was polite, friendly, an excellent conversationalist as we got acquainted and very thorough and professional in telling me what he was going to do with the boiler. After completing his work, he explained everything he had done and why along with the replacement of a hi-vent valve that was leaking. I am thoroughly satisfied with his quality of work and want you to know that young men like this speak well of your company and the training they have. He was well familiar with my Triangle Tube Prestige Excellence110 boiler which is now ten years old. He also attached a service card and a printout of the flue gas analysis which Continental Engineering never did in the years I had them service the boiler. I called DiRocco in the morning as I didn’t have heat. I was told that someone would come look at my gas boiler at the end of the day (between 3 and 5). By 2:30 I was called and told someone was on their way and they arrived shortly after the call. They took a look at the boiler and fixed the clogged gas line. He stayed to make sure all things were working properly as my boiler is ancient- but understood that it was being replaced in the next week or so and just needed it to work in the meantime. The pricing was fair. Would definitely use them again.
