Rob was amazing! He explained everything he was going to do and was fast and efficient. It was an after hours call and he was kind and thorough and solved the issue without a problem. You could tell he liked his job and it showed in his work. I’m so thankful to have the problem resolved, nothing worse than a toilet not working! We live in an old house so services like Zoom Drain's are part of life. But in the various times we have worked with them they are always absolutely the best. They get there fast, scope out the work, confirm the price and I don't know where they find their techs, but they are beyond awesome! Smart, nice, articulate and knowledgeable. I called with a sink/dishwasher issue, and they suggested I have my septic tank checked out first, even though they don't do septics. It turns out that was the issue, and I was able to resolve it without having to pay a plumber to discover that issue and not be able to fix it. I am astounded by this professionalism and helpfulness. I have used them in the past as well and they were great. Would 100% recommend.

Discovering a backup from your sewer drain is one of the worst feelings as a property owner. I genuinely had no idea what to do. I called Zoom and immediately the situation was better. The person who answered the phone was kind and got me an appointment as quickly as possible. Service was prompt (early!) and the people who performed it were great. Worked quickly. Solved the issue. Recommended great solutions. Helped me find a cleanup service. They were truly fantastic. I couldn’t recommend Zoom enough.

Very professional and this is the 3rd time I’ve chosen to hire them for work in my home related to plumbing. I continue to go back because they are quick, incredibly neat, respectful, and the techs that have been in my home have never talked down to me because I don’t understand plumbing, and didn’t mind explaining things to me in a different way if I needed more information. It is pretty pricey which is a bummer, however, I know the job is done well and that I won’t need them to come back for that issue (Each time they’ve come out it’s been for separate things). When I can afford a complete plumbing overhaul they will be the ones I call!

Through patience and persistence Tyler removed the toilet, cut out the bottle, and got the unit up and running like new. They are pros who work hard and keep in good humor throughout. A+

Called for emergency service at 7a, since I had two toilets and three sinks clogged with guests arriving after lunch. James arrived at 1p and not only cleared the drains, but checked all the water lines within, as well as exiting, the house - finding that the ensuite shower was clogged as well. He explained the process and costs very clearly, made extra recommendations to keep my system running well, and was honest about what he thought I needed done - no upselling at all. I felt confident letting James efficiently handle what could have been a very stressful pre-holiday situation!

Waking up to plumbing problems, especially ones indicating a sewer back up is one of a homeowner’s worst fears! Called Zoom Drain at 8am and spoke with Kristy, and Joe was at my house by 9:40am ready to get to work. He was professional, efficient, and knew what he was talking about. He cleared the issue right away but also explained due to the age of the house there could be some pipe decaying issues that if our system backs up again we may want to go in with a camera. He was not pushy, nor salesy - even said most customers will wait to see if it backs up again before taking that step but if I wanted peace of mind he could do it while he is here. The cost of the camera was very reasonable, and he showed me the decaying pipes and also showed me where there could also be an issue on the city side that I should look in to. Gave me a thumb drive of the camera video and said will give it to the engineering team to provide an estimate should we decide to fix that (but no rush). I am thoroughly impressed with my zoom drain experience and will absolutely use them again and recommend to others! Thank you!!!!

Drain was cleared of an impressive hair wad; pipes were put back quickly and the work area was kept tidy. Technicians were professional and personable. Joe and his partner did a fantastic job fixing a busted sewer pump. Fit us in the same day I called and finished the job the next day. We also needed a pump truck and an electrician, which he arranged for us. Cost of the job was $760 and although I didn’t shop around, I think it seems reasonable for fast, quality trade work these days. Joe was also very professional, personable, and explained everything along the way, which I really appreciated. Oh, and added bonus- their dispatcher (Kristy I think?) was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Zoom Drain and will use them again in the future.

Oh Dear Lord! Marcus saved the day today! I had a nasty leak in our sump pump and was looking for emergency service near Waterboro. I called Zoom Drain and Marcus came to the rescue. If you need your clogged drains cleared fast, Zoom Drain has you covered and Joe will get the job done. He was prefossional, easy to work with, and gave good advice. Zoom Drain won't be the cheapest(a septic company gave me a cheaper qoute for jetting after they did an inspection of the whole septic field). I lucked out with same day service so it was more then worth it. I had the entire main sewer line jetted for fat removal. Cut a 4 inch candle in half (× 20+ ft in lenght) and you'll have a good idea of what Joe was dealing with. With my father and brother driving 4 hours to help me work on my new house for the weekend, we needed a bathroom to function without poop coming out of the kitchen sink.(I wish I was joking.)

I just have to say from the reviews I read online the pricing is quite a bit more expensive than I anticipated and even though they did get the job done I think the pricing is a little extravagant. Be prepared to spend $4 00 minimum and to have a drain cleaned about 8.

Instead of pushing for an emergency service and fees, they established we could get through the weekend with our issue to save us the cost. We have had zoom drain out to our house twice so far. The first time Marcus fixed our sump pump after it flooded on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. He had quoted me $986 for completing the job. I asked if I would receive any paper work and he stated I would. After running my credit card he gave me a generic installation manual without specifying which model number I had purchased. I also would have have appreciated a receipt as well as a line item break out of how the company arrived at the $986 total. I assumed That there would be a follow up from corporate for my receipt and work order for my records. I have received neither. I had a flood in my basement during a rain storm so called Zoom Drain to inspect the sewer line to be sure there were no issues. The tech ran a camera down my line and told me that my sewer line would have to be replaced, estimated cost of $14-17K. He also told me that cleaning it out would potentially do further damage and so I would have to sign a liability waiver first. I declined this service and called another local plumbing company. They cleaned out my line (there were tree roots) and did an inspection and told me the sewer line is in perfect shape. Zoom Drain was a waste of time and money! ETA: After a phone call, email, and review via the Better Business Bureau, Zoom Drain did refund my money, for which I am grateful. I am upgrading my rating to three stars for that reason only. The service they provided to me was still poor quality, and I would not recommend this company.

I am a property manager in Kittery. On a cold Sunday night at 7:30PM, one of my residents had a back up in her bathroom that my on-site staff could not repair. I called 3 local plumbers and drain companies, all with whom we have done business in the past, and NONE of them would come out!!! Somehow I found Zoom Drain online, called them and they came right out...from PORTLAND! They got here at 9:30PM and left at almost 11:15. Robert was the tech. He was very polite and kept me informed on all progress. It was a difficult job and at one point Robert almost gave up thinking the septic tank may need to be pumped, but instead he persisted and he was able to get the pipe unclogged!! This was not cheap. I paid over $400. But it was well worth it at the end. ALSO I SHOULD MENTION, that I noticed many large fresh oil stains in our parking area the next morning where he had parked his truck. I spoke to Cynthia in the office about it and she admitted that their brand new truck had leaked hydraulic fluid and they noticed it just this morning. She actually sent a crew down to clean it up! Amazing. Also, Cynthia quickly provided me with the receipt and the tax/insurance docs I need to provide to my corporate office for new vendors (that is sometimes not easily extracted from companies who already have their money!). I am extremely impressed with ZOOM DRAIN and will call them again!

Zoom Drain removed and replaced the internal sewer main that runs under our basement foundation. The technicians did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and coming up with a solution that didn't involve having to remove a lolly column. The techs were very professional and communicated well. My only recommendation to them is to warn homeowners that the work will produce an incredible amount of dust. Even though the area was cordoned off with plastic sheeting, it did little to contain the dust. As a result, we've spent ten hours cleaning every surface in the basement. If I had known, everything would have been removed from the basement before work commenced. That being said, I'm very pleased with the quality of work provided by Zoom Drain.

My issues started with my battery back up sump pump alarm going off, and not stopping, and then the outside drain looked like it was clogged, as water was over flowing. Todays visit was follow up from an earlier service call. Marcus previously used most of the equipment in his truck to clear our house lines. Marcus explained the issue of older houses (ours was built in 1939) having cast iron house traps. Understanding the potential and inevitable trouble this is waiting to cause I chose to have that trap removed today. Marcus and his co-worker (missed getting his name) arrived, opened up the concrete floor and removed the trap. The hole was cemented and the area cleaned up A scope was used to check to the city line and I will be having a Zoom engineer review some small root presence. Drew cleared a drain that two previous plummers over the year has been unable to clear or fix. Previous plummers blamed our problem on lack of air supply (inside vent) and small piping. UPDATE: The owner of Zoom Drain, Mr. Marcisso, issued a partial refund for the services we'd contracted but did not receive. He seemed genuinely concerned about the issues we encountered. I've updated the rating to reflect his followup and commitment to improving his team's customer service. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We contracted with this company to inspect, clean and provide video footage of the cleaned sewer line in preparation for the sale of a home. We were promised the video within 2 days of the cleaning; it took repeated calls with no callbacks and an additional 5 days to get any video out of them. If that wasn't bad enough, the video we received was the one taken BEFORE the cleaning. When we requested the post-cleaning video, they claimed it was corrupted. It should not be that hard to satisfy such a simple and routine request. This experience demonstrates a lack of competence on Zoom Drain's part that I find extremely aggravating.

Picture this... Saturday at a Bed & Breakfast. Breakfast is done being served and you have to head out to a wedding shower.
