Joel was empathetic and friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He was able to come out same day instead of next day, as originally scheduled — incredibly appreciated and so helpful, after a sudden dishwasher failure that flooded the kitchen, in the new home we hadn’t even moved into yet! He offered lots of explanation, and answered every question thoroughly and patiently. Will request him personally again, should we need more plumbing help. Charged half of what a competitor quoted, so good value, too. Highly recommend both Joel and Wolcott.

I am very pleased with the work Wolcott Plumbing did for me this week. They were fast to set an appointment and right on time. Shawn went over everything with me completely before starting the work. Three new toilets, a new utility sink, faucet, and disposal all installed in just over 5 hours. Shawn cleaned everything up and even hauled away the old toilet, sink, and boxes. As I said, I am very pleased....so much so that I am having one of their electrician's come out next week to do a job for me. Thank you Wolcott Plumbing and Electrical for a job well done.

Grant was very professional. He answered all my questions and walked me through the installation process. He has an excellent sense of humor. The customer service is fantastic. I called around 9:30 PM, and they promised to take care of my leak problem. In less than 5 minutes, I received a call from a technician who instructed me to turn off the water heater. The next day at 7 am, I received a call to set up an appointment to get a diagnosis. The whole experience was outstanding ( except for the cost of the water heater replacement) 🤑

Grant came out the same day I called to replace my water heater which had just broken and water was all over the garage. He was pleasant and explained what he needed to do. He was careful to not damage my carpet as he removed the old water heater. A wonderful person to work with. I highly recommend him and his company.

The service was great: fast, professional, friendly. The cost was highway robbery. If you have a small job that needs done, get an estimate and shop around… or you may end up in the debtors’ prison. We were charged $885 which included about one hours worth of labor, $50 worth of parts, and $100 for driving out of their standard area(a 21 minute drive from their location). So that’s $735 an hour for labor. Maybe that’s a great value… or maybe not? You decide.

Our Navien combi-boiler issue was diagnosed promptly, and once parts were obtained the repair was carried out quickly & neatly. Of course, there's nothing fun about working on a tankless combi-boiler that has so many parts in a small package, but Joel kept pushing ahead without a hitch. When the water repair was complete, his experience with Navien products caused him to look "outside the box," at which time he found a small combustion leak he fixed by simply tightening a few screws on the combustion chamber. This attention to detail shows he knows Navien inside & out and knows how to keep them running in tip-top condition.

[updated review Oct 24] We have used Wolcott now for 4 plumbing projects in our home. Bathtub faucet replacement, odor investigation/drain clean, bathtub replacement/installation, and removal of household water filter in the garage. The quality of Wolcott's work is high. You get what you pay for I suppose. Flip side of the coin - Wolcott is very expensive - very. Wolcott's claim is they may be higher priced on bids, but their commitment to quality is high. You will have to figure out for yourself what is more important, or where the balance is, for you. We had bid a couple of these jobs with other plumbers and they were a little lower, but could not commit to the job in our timeframe. Wolcott was easy to schedule, they are responsive, and their plumbers get the job done.

The men that represent this company go above and beyond every visit and I could not say enough good things about them. I am so appreciative of Mike, Anthony, and Cody from Wolcott. They are so busy but always go out of their way to help. They are professional, kind, personable, helpful, and easy to reach whenever. We had a plumbing disaster and they responded promptly with a calm and reassuring demeanor. Mike worked late until the repair was completed to ensure we didn't go another day without water. You can tell this company really cares about their customers as they treat it as far more than just a job. They work with you and provide excellent service for a reasonable price. My 18 year old water heater finally had enough and developed a leak. This was Thursday night. I tried to handle the issue myself before calling for a plumber in the morning but the water shut off valve was stuck tight and all I could really do was place buckets under the leak and keep emptying the buckets as they filled up. Needless to say it was not a fun way to spend an evening. Called a few different plumbers the next day hoping beyond hope that someone would be able to make time for us given our situation. Wolcott called me first, told me to expect a technician between 8:00 and 12:00. Grant showed up at 8:30 (much to my surprise), quickly diagnosed that my water heater was at end of life, stopped the leakage, attached a hose to drain the water in the tank and while that was happening went our got me my new heater and had it installed in a matter of a couple hours. He then took the time to explain the workings of the new heater to me, asked me to call if we ran into any issues and was out by 11:00. Its a huge relief to have the issue addressed and to have hot water again. I hope to never have these sorts of issues but I know thats not gonna happen. When they do I wont need to think twice about calling Wolcott again. I greatly appreciate the timely and efficient service and highly recommend these folks.

They have quickly become my go-to company to refer my clients to. The have strong communication, put together bids quickly, and have enough bandwidth to get jobs on the calendar in a reasonable amount of time. Their prices tend to be right in line with other quality companies, but their level of service and willingness to take the time to discuss the the job details in depth is what makes them stand out to me.

Had a clogged shower drain and Anthony came out to fix it. I was able to get an appointment for the following day. Wasn’t expecting that. A nice surprise! Arrived a few minutes early 🙂took care of the problem and had my shower draining in no time. Not too bad in the cost. I was informed of the cost ahead of time so no big surprise when I signed the invoice. These will be my new go to plumbers. Very nice, very courteous highly recommend!

Vu B. Was excellent in all ways. He was honest about repairs. Honest about issues that could come up because our pipes were so old. There were no surprise prices or fees. The repair ended up easier than he anticipated so he took some money off for less time and materials needed. As a senior woman, he treated me with respect and was not condescending like the previous plumbers .....we chose not to do service with. We were so happy to have found a place we could trust.... we had him do an estimate for replacing our hot water heater. Will have that changed out next. Their prices aren't the cheapest but they are certainly not the most expensive. I would recommend Wolcott and Vu B to my friends.... and already have.

I had to call Walcott after discovering my garbage disposal would no longer fit with the drain pipe location after installing a new kitchen sink. I was able to make a same day appointment which was awesome after being unable to use my sink for a couple days. Sean, the technician, was both friendly and professional and quickly came up with a solution to the problem. He completed the work efficiently and effectively and made sure everything was working properly. He also kindly answered my questions about the work I had already done and had yet to do, reassuring me I was on the right track. They did a quick assessment, checked my water pressure, let me know that was okay, narrowed down the problems with my water heater to one of two problems, but ultimately recommended I get it replaced. It's $100 call out if you don't end up getting the repairs or replacement work, which is pretty standard. I remembered I still have my home warranty, so I'm looking into that route first.

We really liked Joel Miller as our main point of contact and the price to dig up and replace two backflow valves in our basement was much better than other companies. However the communication from the office was lacking about what would happen when. In addition, the concrete guys were very messy, did not clean up and left a hole in the floor for over a week. The floor itself does not look great and is noticeably a different texture from the floor around it. Overall, liked the price and our interactions with Joel, thought there was poor communication from the office and received not great work from their subcontractors.

The arrival window was 2-4 pm but poor Sean got hung up in Oregon City on another job. I called the office at 3:20 and 6:00 and said it would be fine for him to come in the morning or I could be home at 4:30 the following day, as I was sure he wouldn’t want to start another job after 6:00. Evidently he didn’t receive the message because he arrived at 6:40. I told him then, but he said he would take a look at it and see what the situation was. He was very gracious even though I’m sure he was already very tired. I offered him a snack but he politely refused. As it turned out he solved the issue quite quickly and then also efficiently fixed my bathroom sink which wouldn’t stop up. He was a real trooper and I appreciated his work very much!

Didn't appear to be any issues with plumbing, so I didn't need to hire them for any services. But if I would have needed any repairs, I would have hired them. I had to have a whole sewer line replaced it was a nightmare for my business and they helped make it better faster than I could have hoped with minimal interruption. They were very thorough, went into the crawl space under the house, and put together all the relevant details of what would be needed to do the job. Brandon was great. I encountered a badly corroded supply pipe while installing our new dishwasher. Felt it was too risky to try and fix myself. Turned off the water and started looking for a plumber. Bob did a great job finding a leaky pipe inside the wall and repairing it. During a remodel a number of years ago, the hook up pipe used from the copper pipes to the valve were not as compatible with copper as they could be, hence the corrosion and leak. Bob replaced the faulty pipe and came back a second time to replace the other connecting pipes that were installed during that early remodel. Hopefully, we will avoid another leak and big water damage repairs to walls and floors. We appreciated Wolcott Plumbing's timely response and the suggestion of retrofitting as a preventative measure.

Wolcott came up to Rhododendron to help solve a DIY shower faucet replacement disaster. It was a stressful situation with our outdoor piping, but the gentleman that came out to do the repair was patient and a great problem solver. Mike and his crew bailed us out of our plumbing fiasco and they were amazing. Our drain pipe to the sewer line was blocked, pipe was broken, and my family and I were in a tough spot. Grant came to try and fix my water heater which has not been working for 2 weeks. He was very professional and honest. Unfortunately he had to take a different work truck which was not his own and didn't have a few needed tools. I totally get this as I work for a company where that's happened and in the rush to get out and swap vehicles I always forget something too. We are rescheduled for tomorrow and I am hoping the water heater will be repaired. I have been having to go to Loves or the community center to bathe and that's really no fun. The truckstop is also very expensive!

The best service from start to finish! Brandon did a Fantastic job getting to my service appointment near the beginning of the scheduled window time and finishing the job about the estimated time he said. The price was kinda higher than I expected, but with my experience today, I don't feel that it was too bad. Only time will tell if I got my money's worth. I just hope Brandon gets a good wage from the company because it's hard to find good friendly workers.

Grant did a Great job installing a very unusual off-set toilet by Toto. I can't give 5 stars however, because my appointment was scheduled for 9:00-11:00 am. 11 came and went, with no plumber and no contact. I understand things happen, and assumed Anthony was just running late. After no plumber and no contact, I phoned at 12:30 to make sure I was still on the schedule. I was informed that Anthony was still at another appointment, but should arrive before 2 pm. A little after 3:00, thank goodness, Grant arrived and got the job done. I would have given 5 stars if Wolcott would have phoned and kept me updated on the situation. Not entirely their fault, but 1 bathroom, no toilet, 2 days. You do the math.

Had water leaking out of the wall due to a cracking ice maker water supply brass vault . I decided to call Wolcott since they ran our brand new house plumbing system about a year and haft ago. Figure out that my house wont be covered under their 1 year limit warranty policy even with a possibility defectives part. That’s fine, still got an appointment because they are local and did build my house plumbing. The technician showed up on time (its a good sign) and checked out the cracking vault. After couple minutes, give me a $450 dollar estimate just for replacing a ice maker vault which took him 20 minutes in and out of my house. Asked the technician for a second thought on a vault just only a year and haft year old, so he able to give ma reasonable price after looking at it again. The technician did got the job done, quick, and clean after himself (its a plus for the cleaning). After the technician left, I figured out that the previous technician who built the house installed the vault as a 30 degree angle for a reason so i can push the refrigerator closer to the wall but this new guy installed the new vault straight 90 degrees so i couldn’t push the refrigerator to the wall as close as it used to be ( I guess it all about experience). So Wolcott is able to get the job done but you have to do some research and know what you are looking for because different technicians have different skills and experiences. So you will end up like me with the registration sticking out so far due to the angle of the vault sitting. I hope that Wolcott come up with a better pricing system so homeowners wont be surprised when the technician shows up and tell them the price.

I have two things to share about them. The first is before I hired them to do any work at all. In the middle of a DIY project a water line into the home started leaking after hours. I called several 24hr places, Wolcott and another, and while neither had a person available that night, the tech from Wolcott called back and when I told him what was wrong gave me a quick fix I could do that worked...that was without cost and made my night a whole lot better. I was very impressed. The next day when I was a little over my head with the project it was an easy decision who to call, and I was pleased with how fast and good the final result is. When my washing machine's drainpipe started spilling water onto the floor and backing up into my sink, I knew I had a problem. 160 oz. of Drano and a poor attempt to unclog with a handheld auger later, and I began searching for a plumber/rooter. The first company I called couldn't do same day service, but Wolcott managed to squeeze me in. This was anything but a normal job. Anthony had to try multiple tools from multiple locations before he was able to clear the lines, and was polite, personable, professional, and patient the entire time -- all the "P's" you want in a service person. The fee was reasonable, and there was no attempt at an upsell. I will be calling Wolcott again with any plumbing needs in the future.
