Very pleasant and efficient company to work with. I bought a house built in 1945 and they were able to update the plumbing at at very reasonable price. They work quickly, neatly and show up promptly. They clean up after themselves and get rid of any debris or garbage left behind. Their staff is courteous and professional. I will definitely use them again.

I’m so relieved when Zoom Drain showed up. Everything was done professionally. Rafael greeted us with a smile. As soon as Rafael saw our flooded bathroom, he asked where the trap was (we didn’t even think about the trap, so we had to clear that area). When his partner arrived with all the tools and equipment (the truck was in Holland Tunnel traffic), they worked right away. Hector, Rafael’s partner, was very courteous and polite. He explained what has caused the clogged main line and he spoke intelligently, like he has a Masters in plumbing! Suffice it to say that they were our heroes for the day. I think they charged reasonably for their fees (would you go elbow-deep in raw sewage?) and I completely understand the emergency fee for working on a Sunday, with less than 24-hours of notice. They apologized for being late and I figured it was a matter of miscommunication and traffic (Northern NJ is a lot to cover). I called them at 9:45 PM on a Saturday, expected a call by 8 AM for an ETA, then by 10 AM, I finally got a call saying that they’re on their way. They started working around 12:20 PM and they were done by 1:02 PM. All this time, their answering service was very responsive and courteous. That aspect of the service was also truly helpful. When we can’t flush, shower nor do anything to use our drains because it might add to the flooding, you know you have to let the professionals deal with it — and Zoom Drain was there to solve it. Before leaving, Rafael flushed our toilet, went to the trap and smiled when he heard it drain out properly. Thank you!

THESE GUYS ARE LEGIT. FOR REAL: If you have a clogged drain, DONT even bother with regular plumbers. I had 4 plumbers come only to tell me they wouldn't work on my clogged drain and to just use baking soda and vinegar (oh and also charge me $120+ to say that). Joel and Juan came over within 48 hrs of me calling. My call with customer service was recorded and they listened to the whole thing prior to arrival (very nice touch). This was a clog wrapped in a mystery of old pipes in a historic home. They worked fast and persisted through challenge after challenge. From snaking to scoping, back to snaking - in the kitchen, on the roof, then back to the kitchen. Never once did they stop and ask for more money for additional services - it took them well over half their day. AND THE CLOG IS FINALLY GONE. THANK YOU ZOOM DRAIN!!! Give Joel and Juan a raise - those guys are top drawer.

Our experience with Zoom Drain was fantastic. Although delayed John and Alex kept us updated on their arrival time. They performed a video scope of a drain in a house we are about to purchase. They diagnosed the problem showed us options and we hired them on the spot for the repair of the clogged main line. They were professional and efficient. They had towels and made sure to clean everything when they were done. They even used bleach and made sure is was spotless Honestly, a great experience that made us feel comfortable about the purchase of this home and their work. He also makes sure that the area where he worked on is nice and clean and no mess left behind. He also explained to me that the accumulated grease that was trapped on the V-trap pipe is the one that's causing the smell to back out in the room. Throughout the day I contacted 6 companies that preformed sewer jet & snake services and were unable to get a commitment from any company including RotoRooter for same day service. Unfortunately, my building contains 72 tenants and shutting off the water for 24 hours was not an option. Fortunately, I gave Keith a call who referred me to David who quickly dispatched a crew out within 30 minutes of my call though he was concerned scheduling was already tight. Nonetheless, their team showed up with an amazing crew containing 2 gentlemen around 9:30 pm who were diligent, professional and eager to complete a satisfactory job at such a late hour. The following morning I received a text with a name and picture of the Technician to say he was on his way. The Technician (Ken) arrived on time. Was very thorough. Words are inadequate to describe the professionalism, expertise and downright work ethic of this company and especially the technician, Hector. Our housekeeper noticed water coming from the bathroom commode and draining all over the floor. I asked her to turn off all the water until I could finish seeing patients and get back home. Well, I didn't return home until 9 p.m. I wasn't going to wait until the morning. I needed an emergency plumber NOW!! Water seepage had stopped but it had soaked the the bathroom floor and finished carpeting in basement utility room. What a mess! I called Muccia Plumbing who came right away and found that the job needed a more comprehensive drainage company. Zoom Drain was recommended. The Muccia technician left about 12:30 am (after midnight). I asked if Zoom was a 24-hour service company and that they had just finished a large job working with him recently and that they were very good. So, at 12:30 a.m. (in the morning), I called and a lovely receptionist, Kimberly, answered. I told her the problem. She told me that a technician would call me shortly. I knew at that time in the morning, no one would call me. BUT THEY DID!! Hector introduced himself and told me he would be at my home in about 90 minutes. At 2:15 a.m, I was about to call and ask the location of Hector. But, he called first and said he was 10 minutes away. To make a long story even longer. He assiduously investigated the main line to the ejector system and found that there was a clog, but his snake was stuck and could not be removed because there was "something" preventing its extrication. At 4:30 a.m., he said he needed to return with another crew member with a camera to see where the obstruction actually was. I told him I wouldn't be back home until the next afternoon at 3:30 pm. Promptly, at 3:30 p.m., the doorbell rang and there was Hector and Hector Luis. It took them another two hours to find and fix the problem. But, they FIXED THE PROBLEM!! Now, the water flows freely and without backing up. The culprit (believe it or not) were cleansing wipes. I told them that the package said they were flushable and biodegradable. "Don't believe the packaging". EVENTUALLY, the wipes will be biodegradable, but in the short run, they will clog up your pipes. Remember, where you heard it first!! GREAT COMPANY, GREAT TECHNICIAN(S). I would highly recommend!!

I have gutter downspouts leading to a few drywells and the overflows were spouting waterfalls after storms. I tried pressure jetting myself several times but was unsuccessful clearing a blockage to the drywells. Home pressure washers just don't have enough power to clear the serious clogs, time to call the pros with the right equipment. Jose and his colleague showed up during the allotted time. They scoped with the camera first and then pressure jetted the underground 4 inch PVC pipes leading to the drywell. Watching the camera screen from another section, it was very satisfying to see the water drain once the blockage was pushed through. Drain cleaning isn't cheap but you're also paying for the equipment, insurance, overhead, and expertise. If you have clogged drains, it makes sense to call in Zoom drain because that's their specialty. They have the powerful pressure jets and various plumbing augers to clear everything but a collapsed pipe. Lessons for homeowners...install leaf filters over your gutters or downspout filters. It will save you a lot of headaches in the future.

I don't have enough words for this company. From the owner Tony to the plumber Luis they came to my home when my main sewer line backed up into the house. I called them on a Friday night at midnight and Luis came and checked all of my sewer line and boy oh boy had the line broke. Luis walked me through the entire process and showed me the video of the pipe. We had to replace 40 feet of sewer line. I hired them for the job and once again Luis walked me through the process from reconnecting all of the lines to putting down the cement. The job took 3 days and they were on time, clean and very professional. If you are looking for plumbers these are the people who you want for the job. I highly recommend them.

We have a sewer backup from the house to the street of one of our townhouses in the community where I serve on the HOA board. We got a couple of estimates and were happy with the level of expertise that Zoom demonstrated. Also, they were on time with their appointments and explained things nicely, both the technician and the operating manager Tony. Their price was in line with the other estimates, and we hired them to clean out the main sewer line and the home experiencing the backup. Work was done on schedule, but there was a breakage in the one home sewer line which requires excavation. They jetted it out as far as it could go, but started drawing out muddy water, indicating a breakage. We got a second opinion as it were from another company who came to the same conclusion independently. The original clog was due to grease that hardened. The grease clog was successfully address, but the long-term situation had led to a breakage that couldn't be addressed with the high power water jet system or a regular plumbers snake. We are in process now with Zoom and have gotten other estimates for the excavation, repair of the broken line which is under the street. Will update this as we progress.
