Each group for their team came in and explained up front and in detail the estimated costs and options , what their portion of the job entailed and everything was very seamless and quickly accomplished. For a rough situation that was unexpected, they made the ordeal as pleasant as it could possibly be and we are very happy w the service. Would highly recommend .

Came within an hour of my initial call. Found more issues than I realized. Had teams of people to make the additional repairs/replacement/cleanup. Each team coordinated with the others. There was a point person to deal with my homeowners insurance. They also offered financing options. They made an overwhelming situation bearable. Called on a Monday, repairs were completed by Wednesday & cleanup/drying was done by Friday. Each person was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, polite and just plain nice.

I had 2 men come to my house and they went about and beyond to fix my repairs so that I can have running water in my house for my girls first day or school and me to go to work. Scheduled next day, weeknd service online for two urgent issues and received a call first thing the next morning asking if I'd like the tech to come out 4 hours earlier than originally scheduled which was great. The tech, Antonio, was excellent. Very professional and pleasant to work with. He answered any questions I had, clearly explained the work he would be doing and associated costs, and maintained a good sense of humor throughout which helped make for a truly positive experience despite the plumbing issues. Antonio also made sure I was aware of the discounts available to me. After work was completed there was a minor billing issue which I called the local Middlesex office about. The branch manager Adam, who was also very pleasant to work with, got back to me within one business day and immediately rectified the issue. I will absolutely call this branch again and ask for Antonio by name if I have plumbing issues in the future.

We had kitchen drainage issue. Roto Rooter engineer came to help us resolve the issue despite Thanksgiving . The engineer worked very hard and was fair and honest about the price. It took him tow days and involvement of other engineers to resolve the issue. We appreciated his dedicated efforts.

The plumber is great, very efficient, effective and always on time. Used their service twice and I haven't been disappointed by the quality of the plumber and his professionalism. However, Wayne from customer service needs to check his attitude, not sure if he was having a bad day but shouting at customers on email should be unacceptable.

I recently moved and discovered that my bathroom drains and sinks were not draining properly. I called Roto Rooter and got an early appointment. From the time they arrived Adrian and Sai were extremely professional and compassionate They explained everything thoroughly, and set expectations about the outcome. Sai was very thorough and cleaned up leaving no debris or trash behind. The provided tips on ongoing maintenance. Adrian was very knowledgeable. I am totally satisfied with the service, will definitely use Roto Rooter in the future, specifically requesting Sai and Adrian. Before leaving they even checked my sump pump to see if it was functional. Job well done and very happy customer!

This company was great. they showed up hours before they had said they would come. Eric unclogged the drain and didn't leave until everything was back to normal.Scott a water consultant came to help with the clean up and work with my homeowners insurance. the company did a great job at cleaning up sewage , Robert and his team helped me in getting rid of the property that was damage and left equipment to dry my basement. Last Ben came topics the equipment, made sure the air quality was good and took the garbage away.

Rotorooter always comes through, as they did in this instance. The one issue was communication: when I first booked the appt, I was told to expect an email confirming same, which I didn't receive. When I checked to see where the technician was, well into the time that they were to have arrived, I was told that no one was available and had to book another appt. As I found out later, someone had left a voicemail, which I didn't know about until the following day. If they used the media of communication they promise to (email, text, etc.), this confusion wouldn't happen.

On a Sunday morning I found my basement flooded. By 9:30am someone was out to my house and fixed the problem. By 10:30 an agent was here to contact my insurance company to help me get the cleanup covered. And in a few hours the cleanup crew should be here to clean up the mess. I called Roto-Rooter for a pipe leak. Lo and behold, it was a major issue. The leak was behind the kitchen cabinets, which needed to be removed in order for the job to be accomplished. They communicated well with us and our insurance company. They helped us with the step-by-step process. They also guarantee their work for 6 months. Leo and Floyd made this complicated and daunting process much easier to navigate.

Our shower drain clogged and completely backed up all the toilets and showers in our house the night before a holiday. We were able to schedule the appointment that night for the following day. The technician Erik came on time and was able to diagnose the issue and completely replace the pipes while he was here (home inspection said they need to be replaced anyway), so we were able to kill two birds with one stone. Erik was very helpful and did good work and now we can use our bathrooms again in such short notice

We used a few companies to try to diagnose a plumbing leak that we had for months. It was very frustrating, we had to open our kitchen ceiling and spent a decent amount of money getting different plumbers to come out to no avail. Finally we called Rotor Rooter and Almin came and within minutes diagnosed the leak as coming from defective radiator valves. He fixed the issue and had the perfect temperament. It was a true pleasure working with Rotor Rooter and the plumber Almin. While I hope I do not have these issues moving forward, if I do I know who to call.

Peter arrived just after he called to give his estimated time of arrival and from the moment he said hello, he was professional and courteous with just the right amount of excitement that you could have for a job like this. He fixed the issue quickly and efficiently and did a full walk through of the pipes and went as far to attempt a fix on the garbage disposal. It ended up being an electrical issue so once I told him that I was certified to fix those issues, he told me what parts I needed and the friendly reminder to flip the breaker. If we ever need their services again, I hope that we get Peter. Great service with great workers and 10/10 for professionalism.

The only negative I have is the flat rate fee. $570 plus tax. But again....technicians were great and the cleared the drain with a 6 month guarantee.

Cleaned and relined sewer pipes inside the house and between the house and the street--the pipes were 100 years old, had roots and rot. It was wickedly expensive. Clean up was not optimal. And for all the work, one line was never examined and now is clogged up from all the other work. We'll see how RR addresses the problems.

Even though we hit a technical snag installing a new type of toilet, they ensured that they would fix that and complete the installation successfully. My plumbing issues were finally taken care of after the first salesperson James P. (goes by Jim) lied about the services he would provide. He took advantage of a single woman with no plumbing terminology knowledge as he told me one thing and then wrote up an invoice for something totally different. The services that he provided of course did not fix the issue. I had to call back several times, which took over a month for a response only after I refused to pay the deductible that my insurance company was taking out of their check. Joe, Peter, and Mike rectified the situation and completed the service that was needed within the same day. Unfortunately, I had to pay for the additional services because Jim lied about what he said he told me. They gave me a small discount because of Jim's money hungry antics, irresponsibility, and lack of resolution with the services he provided. I went with Roto Rooter because they're well known but I'll definitely choose another company the next time because of the expensive pricing and the dishonesty of James P.

I had an emergency situation and they treated it as such. they were quick to respond to my call and dispatched the most experienced plumber I've had the opportunity to interact with. he came out, assessed the situation, and within minutes he was working on unclogging my sewer main. He then facilitated the call that got me connected with the water damage related clean-up crew. they handled all the paperwork and even phone calls with my home ins company. the clean-up was down the exact same day. they took complete care and were thorough...explaining everything I needed to know every step of the way. there were techs on hand and on-sitw everyday for the next three days to ensure that my basement dried to the required temp. today, they came to collect the last of their equipment. My basement is completely dry and you can't tell I had sewage floating around from an overflow of the main sewer line. Thank you Francis, Joe and crew!!

Appointment window 10AM - 2PM. Tech showed up at 2:30pm. Showed the problem(clogged drain pipe) to the tech. He quoted a price. $570 plus tax to snake the drain. $602 dollars seemed expensive just to snake a drain. But he assured me he could accomplish the task so I went with it. In total he spent about 10 minutes attempting to clear it. 40 minutes overall at my house. Needless to say he could not clear the drain. So for 10 mins of work Roto rooter wanted to charge me $385 service fee for a job he failed to do after assuring me he could. Not to mention, that fee should have been stated at the beginning, and it's NOT on their contract. I refused to pay that.The Tech called the manager. Manager stated that's the fee if the Tech is there over an hour attempting to fix the problem. Wasn't at my house for an hour. Again 10 mins of work. Most time was spent going to get his tool from the truck(about 10-15 min.) Manager quoted a price of $165. I paid that for nothing. Oh, Roto Rooter you should also mention at the beginning that you dont accept cash. What a waste of time and money. Never again!!! Update : A manager from Roto Rooter reached to me in regards to my unfortunate incident. Another more experienced Tech was sent out to assess and if possible unclog the drain pipe. Great guy! However after assessing the situation I was informed that the drain line was no good. (100 year old house) The effort was free of charge. Although my situation require a more expensive fix. I Appreciate the Managers resolve to have a fully satisfied customer. That's part of the professionalism you expect from a major company. I change my review to 3 stars.

My kitchen sink clogged up and I tried draino, baking soda and vinegar, and even snaking the drain myself. Since I couldn’t get it done Myself we made an appointment. He came on time, to come in he put his mask on and his shoe guards( I really appreciated that) I got him in contact with my landlord and he was quick and fixed sink. Be aware that their dispatch doesn't give them too much information or give you a lot of information when you request services. So when the plumber comes out so be prepared to explain or have them come back & do the repair. They also have upfront pricing which is good for something expensive like plumbing.

When in need of a professional who will explain in detail prior to the service, show up when within the time proposed, (even on Christmas eve) and be fair with prices these are the guys to call. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was had they checked the city sewer( and I understand it is not normal procedure because the township scolded me for them lifting the man hole cover) they wouldn't have had to do anything and I probably would have just been charged for the visit ( mind you they did cut me a break) because the problem was the sewer system was backed up! Thanks for responding in a timely manner however maybe checking the sewer system should be first on the list 😀

It took a lot of work, extra time and a very helpful conversation with Adam to get these stubborn old drains to behave but I am so happy to say yes rotorooter has cleared out the grease and whatever other gooky gunk was slowing down the normal flow. The 2 Roto-Rooter techs came on time to my house to fix an outside faucet that kept leaking. They instructed me on what they would have to do, how much was the repair, how long it would take to fix the pipe and faucet, and reassured me that everything would be covered for 1 year and that replacements themselves should last 30 years or so. After agreeing to the repair and costs, they went to their van to get all the parts and tools. They turned off the water main in the basement, ensured safety by draining any excess water from any nearby sinks and bathroom sinks and also the problem exterior faucet. They cut a piece of the old pipe, replaced it with a brand new pipe with 1 of those handle valve instead of the circular ones, then replaced the old circular exterior faucet valve with a finger valve for quick on or off shutoff. The whole process took maybe 1 or 1 and half hours tops. Hopefully everything remains intact, but as of this moment, I have better piece of mind for the winter months that we'll avoid any frozen pipes and pipe bursts. Much appreciated Roto-Rooter!!

Our toilet hasn't been flushing quickly and kept hearing water backing up from the sink and shower. Before things got any worse, my husband decided to call Roto-Rooter to at least come and look at our pipes. We had an idea that water wasnt getting to the main pipe. Customer service said they would have a technician come out within the hour. Right on time, Edwin (the tech) came. He worked on our pipes for at least 4-5 hours and explained everything he was doing and why it was happening. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Edwin also cleaned up where he was working so he didn't leave our basement smelling like sewer. He also gave us some cleaning solution to clean the pipes and shield it. Edwin really made this a great experience.

A plumber from a different company told me that my problem would require the bathroom wall to be removed in order to fix the plumbing, but this company was able to fix my problem in a couple of hours. He assured us that our problem was common and not a big deal. He explained what was happening and how he proposed to repair it. We agreed. On the day of the scheduled service I got a call from a nice lady telling me that they're running a little late. Then got another call telling me a tech will be arriving in 15mins, which he did. Very professional and organized. They also emailed me a detailed receipt after the service. Tech Joseph is a great guy. I was lucky to get him. I had a clogged sewer pipe. He knew right away what to do. Very knowledgeable. I only gave 4 stars because there's NO service guarantee, due to my sewer pipe having a running trap. I was given estimates for jetting and excavation ($5k).

Paul R. (Tech# 5350) was my tech that showed up on Saturday. I described the issue with water overflowing from the discharge pipe that ran from my sump pump to the sewer line. He was very knowledgeable about the issue and we both discussed the issue as probably roots growing in the pipe line. He described to me what he would do and the cost. Also offering discounts that I didn't know about. After "snaking out" the line (both of my sump pump lines) and using a camera to make sure it was clear, he cleaned up and replaced the piping. I offered him something to drink and he packed up. He was a great tech and I would recommend him to anyone.
