All Clear Plumbing sent Elvis to fix a broken boiler and to install a whole-house water filter. Elvis did both jobs in one day. He even corrected a defect that he found along the way. Elvis and Louis came to my house and got my boiler ready for the winter season. They had some extra work to do because the drain valve was clogged. They took out that valve, replaced it, cleaned the pressure cut off, cleaned the sight glass and the valves that feed the sight glass. They cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant to deal with.

My boiler broke down, in mid-January, and they promptly sent over two guys to take a look at it. They took care of the boiler and got it back up and running within two hours. So I had the worst day ever when I was quoted $32,000 to break into my Watermain on the street side to replace a broken pipe. So I called all clear plumbing for a second opinion Only to meet the most honest guys in the world Because they spent one hour and unclogged tons of rags from my drain. Had such a great experience with All Clear Plumbing of Essex County yesterday that warranted me taking time for a review. I've used them in the past as my go to plumber since buying a home in Kearny, NJ about a year ago. While I have certainly been greatly satisfied on previous occasions, I will say that my experience yesterday stood out as an example of why I continue to place my trust, and business with the owner Ivan and his team at All Clear. My wife and I had ordered a dryer to be installed going into Memorial Day weekend when it was discovered that the gas valve and line in our 100 year old house was in need of repair. The dryer installers could not complete the install and I was left with a dryer I could not use. I immediately called All Clear and they had someone over within 30 minutes to take a look. I spoke with the technician Avi and he gave me a few options. While he was here, I noted another plumbing issue I had been meaning to take care of as well, and overall Avi was able to deliver a combined quote to address my original gas line problem along with that other issue I had with my hot water line. By this time, it was already approaching 3pm in the day. Avi took the quote to the owner Ivan, who agreed and gave the thumbs up for Avi to get the work done that day. He then rushed back to the office, grabbed more gear, and came back and took care of our issue over the next few hours. My dryer gas line issues were no more, and we are now able to actually install and use our brand new dryer. I wanted to send a big thank you to Ivan for allowing Avi to perform the work on such short notice and within the price quote he put together. As always, I appreciate his being available and hands-on with the business. For anyone dealing with All Clear, Ivan is the type to go out of his way to follow up the next day and make sure everything went smooth with the services his techs perform. Lastly, if you do call All Clear and get Avi at your door, know that he is honest and straightforward with this pricing. He will also make an effort to explain things to you before doing them, and likely give you several options to resolve your issue. I highly recommend you give them a try! Thanks again All Clear for making our Memorial Day Weekend stress free!

Absolutely phenomenal, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. On a Friday evening, we had a leaky shower that turned into a bigger problem involving the shower cartridge. The office staff was responsive and got someone out to us in a very reasonable timeframe. Fred was great. Friendly and attentive, he fixed the problem almost immediately. The next morning we realized the problem was not in fact completely taken care of, so Fred came back and completed the repair free of any extra charges. Good service, fair pricing and very professional. From now on, they will be my go-to plumbers and I will ask for Fred again.

I called All Clear Plumbing after my steam boiler broke. Originally, I had my contractor try to install a brand new Utica steam boiler. That was a huge mistake on my part. It was an absolute train-wreck. He had no idea what he was doing. I called All Clear in the morning- Ivan, the owner picked up. He asked me to send him pictures of the boiler my contractor installed. He advised me not to turn on the boiler as it would be detrimental to the well being of my family and home. I also sent pictures to another plumbing company. When they saw the pictures they refused to work on our boiler because the job was so poorly done. Ivan, on the other hand, scheduled an immediate install of a brand new boiler. His plumber, Wilson, came out and did a wonderful job installing our brand new boiler. He also replaced the vents on a few radiators and serviced them at no extra charge. Here’s the point- this company is exemplary. Their service and work is stellar. All Clear Plumbing is second to none in the state of NJ. If you want professionalism, stellar customer service and fair prices- use All Clear Plumbing. I would, and I am recommending this company to all of you in need of plumbing services. I’m simply sharing my experience as an All Clear customer. My boiler broke in the midst of winter. I was home with two small children and a pregnant wife. My home was freezing because my contractor didn’t know what he was doing. All Clear Plumbing steeped in. They didn’t take advantage of me with unfair pricing. So last week I wrote a review of All Clear with less than stellar star ratings. While the experience wasn't ALL bad there was an issue of miscommunication on both sides that lead to the negative aspects of my review. After being contacted by the owner Ivan and having an exchange we were able to work everything out and I am more than happy to give All Clear...the ALL CLEAR!! Here's the take away...always treat people with respect regardless of if you agree or not, have an adult respectful conversation. So many things can be worked out when you talk and you may find where things went wrong. Ivan is a stand up guy and his team is amazing. Excellent, quick work, great prices. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or overcharged, so ladies and seniors, these guys are a safe bet. As a first time homeowner, having to deal with permits, I was lost and winging it and Ivan was very understanding and helped me out to get what I needed and fill me in on things to know. All Clear has gained a new customer in me (if they take my calls, lol) and I will be more than happy to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Ivan and everyone at ALL CLEAR.

A few hours later they called back to say they could at least look at the problem right away, so Ivan and Eric came to my house, got to work and got the job done fairly quickly, despite a couple of unexpected problems. Truly impressed by this company. Had an emergency leak with my parenst kitchen sink on a Saturday. Thankfully they were open After doing research. All clear had great reviews. I called and within 1 hour they were on their way to my home in belleville. It took them no less than 1 hour to replace old pipe and install the new pipe under my sink to pvc. They were also very reasonable. They charged less than $400. Very affordable for a last minute, Saturday emergency morning call. I was quoted for a water heater replacement yesterday. I called in and tried to make the payment but was told I need to be at the physical residence to accept payment, no problem by me. However, no one came to take my payment. It has been a day and a half and when I call in, they say they will give me a call when someone is on their way. They told me that yesterday and I waited all day. Told me that today and still waiting while my basement leaks. They have good communication when I call in however, no one comes up to pick up the payment from me. I'll have to go with the second highest bidder, they'll even handle the permits on my behalf. Update: from 4 to 5 stars. I got a call back and they sent Mike over to collect my payment. I cancelled the other company and went with All Clear. Mike did a great job and explained fully what he did and the permit process. Pretty satisfied with his work and the new water heater.

Excellent company, excellent people. I was away from my home and my neighbor noticed my sump pump was running. After an investigation he determined that my water heater was leaking. I called All Clear on a Saturday at 3pm. The lady who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. They got a plumber to my house in 10 minutes! By 6pm a new water heater was installed and I was back in business. They even gave me a $100 off coupon to use I never write reviews but after my experience with this company I felt it was necessary. I had water leaking inside a wall and a plumber from All Clear came to fix the problem. He had to leave to get a part but did not come back for hours. When I finally called him, he sheepishly said I should call the office. When I did, the person at the All Clear office said that they put the plumber on another job and that he wouldn't be available to come back to my house until that other job was finished first. UNBELIEVABLE!!! He came back many hours after he had left and finished the job, but how All Clear thinks it's OK to have their plumber disappear on the job for hours like that without asking for the customer's permission first or even without informing the customer of what's going on is just beyond me. UPDATE: The owner of All Clear, Ivan, called me right away after my review was posted. He explained that the plumber did go to get the part, but the store from which he needed to get it was closed (it was on a weekend) and they had to contact the owner of the store personally to get the part. Apparently, it took a long time for the store owner to get back to them, so rather than having the plumber wait around for hours, All Clear decided to put him on another job in the meantime. Too bad that neither the plumber nor the receptionist at All Clear explained this to me in the first place, but better late than never, I guess. Ivan gave me his sincere apology. He really seemed to care about customer satisfaction and I decided to change my review from one star to five. Thank you, Ivan.

Ivan and his team did a great job on my hot water heater, I had 2 leaks, one from the water shut off valve, other from pressure relief valve, and Ivan's team replaced both of them in about an hour. They really did a clean job. Not many companies out there still give you free estimates, but All Clear does free estimates, you've got nothing to lose by calling them. I highly recommend these guys.

I recently had my hot water heater replaced by All Clear Plumbing after my old one suddenly stopped working. They were able to send someone to my house less than an hour after I called and the new water heater was installed the same day. While originally I felt that there were several shortcomings with the service that day, I am happy to say that after speaking with the owner--Ivan--we were able to resolve everything. Ivan takes care of his customers and makes things right. He took care of the permit required by the town and I was easily able to schedule for necessary inspection. All Clear Plumbing did a great job for us. We had a problem with our sewer line that several other companies were not able to resolve properly. All Clear was thorough and diagnosed the problem which was missed by others and they got it fixed correctly. This was a big job that required digging up an area outside of our home and All Clear went out of their way to make sure our lawn and property was not disrupted in a major way. It was also great to hear from Ivan when he followed up to make sure that everything was good a week or two after the job. He knows how to take care of customers so I would recommend giving All Clear a call if you have any plumbing needs.

Where do I start? I bought a house that went through a poor renovation, poor inspection, and here I am. As soon as I moved in I noticed 8 leaks in the basement. I called Rota Rooter and they told me that it would cost $1,100 and that they would have to tear down a large amount of drywall to fix the leak. I then called All Clear and they sent Mike out within an hour. He me that he could do it for $850. He completed more work than what was promised by Rota Rooter, he did it that day, and was cheaper! Rota Rooter was even trying to tear down the wrong wall! Mike cut the smallest hole and pinpointed the cause of the leak and fixed it! I highly recommend All Clear for fast, honest, and professional work!

Great company. After a nightmare of a bathroom remodel my bathroom faucet started pouring into my kitchen ceiling. I am following up on Saturday's review. The owner did call me and we did go over the issues initially stated in the one star review. The plumber came back yesterday, Monday and fixed the job that had been faulty due to materials and not workmanship. The poor customer service etiquette is also being addressed. My wife and I recently purchased a 100 year old home in Kearny, NJ. Having just dumped a small fortune on the investment, and us being in the midst of the ongoing Covid Pandemic, we were very concerned about a significant water main leak issue in our basement. Having consulted 2 prior plumbers in the area, both suggested they could "try" a fix at the cost of about 3k (but there were no guarantees) and I would then be looking at around "maybe" 8-10k for them to dig up underneath my property for the fix. They both said "maybe" when pressed and would not give me a solid number which lead me to believe I would be paying more like 12k at the end of it all; and, that any attempted "fix" would surely fail. Staring at the prospect of having to spend another 10-12k, I took a chance and contacted Ivan @ All Clear. His crew came out and assessed the situation. Talking with Ivan, he offered an attempted fix for about $700. Not only that, he explained and gave details about what they would try to do to repair it (neither of the previous 2 plumbers shared what they would try). This extra insight and information gave me the confidence that Ivan and his crew knew what they were doing, and had a high probably of pulling it off. tldr: I took a chance with All Clear and it paid off! They repaired the leak onsite in 1 day. We ended paying around $700 instead of $10,000. With the extra money, we were able to enjoy our new home (as it should be), rather than live off bread and water for the next few months . Overall, I cannot recommend All Clear enough. They are the most professional and honest plumbers I have talked to in NJ since buying this house. I would say give them a call if you have a plumbing issue that seems to be spiraling out of control. Maybe that call could save you thousands of dollars too!

I called Ivan and All Clear Plumbing to get a 2nd opinion after I had been told by a different plumbing company that I need to have my entire 50' pipe that runs to the sewer line redone. They were estimating between $10K-$12K. Ivan came out and took a look and said those people were just trying to rip me off. The pipe was fine, a little blocked up but he snaked it out and then sent a camera through it to show me how clear it was. He also told me that the price I paid was way about industry standard and who I could report them to and most likely get reimbursed. Ivan is an honest, stand up, man of his word kind of guy, which is rare especially amongst plumbers. I won't call anyone else for any plumbing issues in the future.

I had a sewage back-up in my house just prior to Easter. I called Essex County All Clear whom I have used multiple times in the past (very old house) and they showed up right away...they always do. They were very methodical in their approach and unfortunately it was discovered through the use of a nifty video system that I had a collapsed sewer line, which I got to verify with my own eyes. All Clear was awesome in walking me through the steps that needed to happen to replace my line and coordinated all the work with the town. This is NOT a cheap job, especially when the street needs to be opened up, but Ivan at All Clear did a fantastic job with the town and was able to get me a SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS over their original, quoted price. I wish the town would have had more of a sense of urgency in getting the work done (it took 10 days from when the problem was diagnosed until I had running water again), but Ivan kept me posted every step of the way. And it's not just Ivan who helped me out, Freddy, Wilson and the rest of his crew were awesome as well through the entire ordeal. If you're ever in need of a plumber, from the smallest repair to a plumbing disaster, I HIGHLY recommend these guys, you won't be disappointed.
