Because of the new gas inspection regulation, we had to find a gas line inspector who would confirm we were up to par. After calling 4 other places, I came across Nationwide Plumbers and spoke with David. He knew exactly what regulation I was referring to and after taking some information, was able to access what zone I was in and the deadline for the certification. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and very accommodating in terms of appointments. They send text messages to confirm your upcoming appointment, which is usually a window of a few hours. They’re also very responsive whenever you call with questions. David was the one to actually come and do the inspection and after less than an hour, he was done. He took pictures of pipes/meters and overall area pictures as well as potential minor issues. He also used a gas meter wand (not sure the formal term for the instrument) and checked all the pipes for leaks as well as doorways of apartments. He was on time, professional and respectful. And eco-friendly as he arrived on a scooter 🛵 but considering gas prices these days….also very smart!! They also weren’t as pricey as I thought it would be (thankfully 😁), which includes sending certification to the city agency… only to do this again in 4 years 🤦🏻‍♀️. Overall good experience with them and would recommend their expertise!!

I don't usually write reviews, but, in light of the extraordinary service that was provided me at a reasonable price by Nationwide Plumbers, I feel I must recognize the great job they did and let others know about it. Krysta, the manager, who answers the phone when you call their number, was superb--professional, pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The plumbers/technicians were highly skilled and explained the details of what they were doing. And they solved the problem quickly. (Shout out to Orjan B. and his able assistant Joe! Many thanks, guys!) I should add that I get an appointment the following day after I called. The plumbers determined that I needed a new pump, which they installed the next day. I'm extremely appreciate of the wonderful service and care I received from Nationwide Plumbers. I highly recommend them.

John is the man. He did a great job and was a really positive person. The Job: we discovered we had a fully clogged main sewer line that was emptying all water waste into our cellar - toilets, showers, sinks, etc. Nationwide Plumbers dispatched Will to our place fully prepared to fix it. Once he started, he made quick work of it - less than an hour in and out. Nationwide isn't the cheapest option, but as with most things you get what you pay for.

I called Nationwide Plumbers about my clogged kitchen drain the day before Thanksgiving. I provided pictures of the pipes under my kitchen sink and was given an estimate right away. Someone arrived within a few hours to unclog the drain. The technician arrived wearing gloves and a face mask which was really appreciated as COVID safety is critical at this time. He worked quickly to successfully unclog the drain. Payment was very easy via Credit Card. I would highly recommend using this company for any plumbing needs.

Let me tell you my story. I own a 3 family home in Brooklyn and I am affected by the new local law 152 requirements for a gas inspection. I vetted about 13 companies before settling on Nationwide Plumbers. Why because they were on the lower end of the price spectrum. So naturally I didn’t expect to be dealing with professionals…..boy was I wrong. The team was super responsive and professional through out the entire process and made everything from payment to processing a breeze. The experience was so good me and my neighbors all sign up with Nationwide and got the inspection done. Anyone who would call me about the process I recommended Nationwide Plumbing. Fantastic experience. Our gas was shut off on a cold friday evening. After calling a number of plumbers who didn't want to or couldn't handle the job Krista from Nationwide Plumbers called back, walked us through exactly what we needed to do and what we were facing. Very pleased with Nationwide! I was at first hesitant due to their hourly rate, however decided to bite the bullet and give them a try over others that offered a much lower rate but in the past have proven to be deficient in work quality. The repair today by Nationwide is an example of that, they fixed the subpar work of an earlier “value” plumbing contractor! What the value contractor would have possibly stretched to 2 or more hours plus inflated parts pricing… Nationwide repaired in just under an hour and had decent prices… I’m sure higher than the local big box store… but not obscenely so. I’m very happy with Nationwide.

So this morning, my toilet stopped flushing and the water wouldn't stop running. I tried for an hour to fix it myself, but I had no luck. My fiance called Roto Rooter, who we've dealt with in the past. Even despite it being an emergency, they gave us a wait time between 9:00-11:00. By 10:30, they still had no idea when they'd be able to send a plumber, and by then I was extremely angry and annoyed. Saturday is my only day off, and I certainly didn't want to spend it waiting on a plumber with an attitude. So, I decided to give Nationwide Plumbers a call to see if they could help us. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so nice and professional. I explained the problem and expressed my concern. The woman on the phone was absolutely amazing; she literally talked me through the whole problem! I didn't think I'd be able to fix it even with her explaining the process to me, but I was able to fix it! She explained in detail what to do going forward and also what not to do. I'm extremely grateful for her help and if I ever run into any issues in the future, I will DEFINITELY be calling Nationwide Plumbers for help. They are awesome!.

FINALLY found a wonderful plumber, after years of living in NYC I've found that reliable, fast, and quality plumbers, electricians, and other repairman are getting harder and harder to find. Nationwide Plumbers answered our call when we called on a Monday NIGHT, the week of the 4th of July HOLIDAY, and said he would be there by 7am the next day. He even came a little early! Our toilet and kitchen sink was a nightmare- the sink wasn't draining and the toilet was so clogged the flusher wasn't even working. John fixed both without any problems within 10 minutes flat. We contacted Nationwide Plumbers for bathtub drain clearing because our neighbor used them and had a great experience. Scheduling was easy, they are very responsive but also in high demand so they were unable to come immediately. The plumber showed up early and was very respectful to our apartment, wore shoe covers and looked at the issue then provided a quote before the work is started. It was about $295 for the drain clearing. It took him 30-40 min and he got a massive clog out of the shower, the shower worked again! The plumber suggested that we have a drain cover to catch hair and to pour baking soda then hot water & vinegar every two weeks to clean the drain from hair but not damage the pipes (vs. draino). I will definitely use them again, it was pricey but I think quality work and inflation has increased costs for everyone.

Well worth the 5 stars. They called back within a few hours and came to deal with a clogged main sewer line that runs from the house to the street. We have the original P-trap which is half in the foundation wall so getting into the line required going around the trap. They were able to get a camera in the line and 1. show me the issue and 2. use their hyrdro-jet the line. We had debris and roots coming in. When they were done the line looked like new. The communication, the team, the work and the clean up. All 5 stars.

I spoke with Debbie at Nationwide Plumbing this afternoon around 2:20 pm. She was very professional and put my mind at ease. She said that an employee would be at my house between 3 and 6 pm. At 3:13, I received a text from Dennis Giron that said he was on his way. When he arrived shortly after with one of his co-workers he was able to get to the problem immediately. Within 15 minutes the problem was fixed. He and his co-worker were efficient and well mannered. They explained what they were doing and the job was done perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves and I will definitely use Nationwide Plumbers again.

I am so happy with John from Nationwide Plumbers-- If I ever need a plumber for anything, I'll be calling him. The pipes in my apartment are old and corroded, but I was having this problem where the waste water from the washing machine was backing up into the kitchen sink. At first he thought we might have to replace the pipes. But he realized the solution was much simpler and had to due with the placement of the hose going from the machine to the sink; it was placed too high, and so he repositioned it. My point is John from Nationwide Plumbers is smart and knows what he's doing. He can accurately figure out what the problem is. And he won't try to overcharge you by recommending something you don't need. (Such as replacing all the pipes under the sink--which I was prepared to do, because they were in bad shape)--but he was able to recognize that that was not causing the problem; it was the mistake that another plumber had made from before But John from Nationwide Plumbers is excellent at what he does. And he fixed the problem caused by the previous plumber. He's capable, competent, smart, honest, straight-forward and hard working. I respect him highly and would say he's the person you should call for your plumbing issue.

John and Martin came to my house to clear a backed up drain running from my basement bathroom, they arrived within 3 hours of my call. They were not only professional and polite, but they knew exactly what needed to be done. They cleared the drain and fixed another problem they noticed and then cleaned up after themselves. But before they could start, they realized that they would need to get to the main trap which was behind a number of storage bins, I was at work, so they moved the bins for my wife so they could fix the problem that day.
