We have really hard water. He checked out our water softener. Said it was turned off. Regenerated it and told my husband to do it once more. If water doesn't feel soft in a week, we would need a new water softener. He was honest and not out for a quick sale. He is genuine and we trust him with our whole heart. If the softener doesn't work in a week, we will have him install a new one for us. He gave us a quote and we are perfectly happy and confident with the one he will sell us if needed.

Plumb Right got it... plumb right. My 13-year-old water heater was getting long in the tooth and the original installer may have not had a lot of experience when he put it in. (That original installer was me.) The flex pipe I'd installed had already gone out on the outtake but today, my girlfriend informed me on the way up from the basement there was a leak. Today, it was the intake flex that was spraying water everywhere soaking the drywall, catboxes, and all kinds of fun stuff. Always fun to hear when you're getting ready for work. Devon and Plumb Right have done work for me before--equally as good. I appreciate their professional and timely work. Today, their services were needed ASAP and they showed up the day I called to evaluate and give me my options. After deciding that I might as well pull the trigger on a new water heater (and have the whole thing put in correctly this time) Devon was on the phone and had a water heater at my house in a couple hours. The rest of the work was finished up just as expediently. The work was clean, efficient and the whole thing really only took about 1/2 a day to complete. Their work is AMAZING. I highly recommend Plumb Right from anything from a slow drain to the big stuff--like a water heater.

Let me start by saying the entire Plumb Right team is amazing. I called to get an appointment, which couldn’t happen for two days, but asked to be put on a wait list in case someone cancelled the next day. Someone cancelled and they remembered to call me back to see if I’d like them to come sooner. Awesome!! Then Devon came out. For the $59 service call, he not only looked at my actual problem, but also all the other little plumbing things that I had been putting off for a while. He ended up fixing EVERYTHING in my house: water softener piping, replaced an entire toilet, replaced 2 drains for tubs so they now hold water correctly, and replaced the vacuum breaker piping for our sprinkler system. When it was all said and done, I paid $1500, which included the purchase of their Lifetime Service Club Membership ($150). The savings alone paid for the membership fee which will give me 10% off future service, priority scheduling, and waived service call fee. They had most supplies on the truck. The one thing he didn’t have another technician brought, so no one had to leave for the store. From start to finish, Plumb Right was amazing and I felt like I accomplished so much for our house by the time they were done. No more plumbing punch list!! Definitely saved me time and the pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them. They are very trustworthy and dependable.

Called Saturday evening because of a leak in my basement. Sunday morning, 8 AM with 4" of snow on the ground and Thomas was right on time. The job was very difficult. Thomas explained everything as he went and he was polite, neat, clean and had a "can do" attitude. He left my house cleaner than when he got here. I recommend Thomas and Plumb Right for any plumbing needs. We will be reaching out to them this spring for an outside faucet repair and I will be requesting Thomas. Price was a little high, but it was an emergency repair and we expected to pay more for the immediate service - it was worth the money.

We had Devon and Thomas install and replace a water heater and water softener. They also cleaned up our mess of random pipes and fixed the venting issues we had. I would 100% recommend them. We got several quotes and Devon was the only one that caught the issues we had with the venting BEFORE we had to ask about it. Their quality of service is more than fair for their asking price, and I plan on going back to them for all our issues. I actually sent pictures of their work to all my friends because they did such a good job! I cannot express just how happy I am with their work! Matthew, Thomas did a great job installing toilet and replace the floor under my water heater. The water heater they brought with them to install ended up not being a good fit for my home. Devon brought a different water heater to my home and stayed to help Matthew install it. They all worked very hard to take care of everything at my home. Our water softener system broke so we called Plumb Right. They were able to send Erik out right away. He showed us where we had a crack in the top of the system right below the meter and pointed out a couple other problem areas. It was a 16 year old fixture so time to replace. Wow! Thomas and the team at Plumb Right will provide you with excellent plumbing service and high-quality results at a reasonable cost! Seeking estimates to fix a leaking water pipe in the utility room, I found Plumb Right while doing research using Angie's List. Plumb Right sent a confirmation email and a picture of Thomas before the service call so that we knew what/who to expect. Thomas was systematic in diagnosing the problem and tactfully shared the bad news that the leak repair was more extensive than originally thought. The previous homeowners had a poor plumbing setup for the external lawn irrigation system with different pipe diameters and many pipe joints that set up the whole system to eventually fail with time (starting with one small joint leak). Thomas explained what needed to be repaired, why the leaking occurred, ways to reduce the risk of future leaks with a more extensive repair and he gave us time to consider the quotation. We paid for the quotation service call and received a lot of information. We solicited other plumbing bids and did not use the other vendors because they did not appear to demonstrate the same level of plumbing expertise and/or were pushy to get the bid accepted. Thomas and the office team (thanks Holly!) quickly set up the follow-up repair appointment. Thomas arrived on time, brought a lot of equipment, wore a face mask and shoe covers during his visit, worked diligently for more than 3 hours and left the work area clean. He carefully explained what he was doing each step of the way and the final repair was well executed. If you want an honest opinion, then ask Thomas from Plumb Right for his advice. If you want honest work and a highly-professional result, then ask for Thomas from Plumb Right. While he is a master at his craft and knows what he is doing, you will find Thomas to be refreshingly humble and always customer focused. Inside shut-off valve was not sealing properly and the outside faucet also would not shut-off so water would continue flow and form an ice column underneath it. Plumb Right replaced both valves, tested them, and then winterized (drained the remaining water) so that I would not have deal with it anymore this season. They were able to come out the day I called and make the repairs. I am very happy with the work that was done. I will call Plumb Right again.

A complete basement remodel on a recently purchased house started falling apart when I found that the shower drain was not code. Plumb Right quickly responded to my service request to replace the floor drain and install one that complied with building codes. I submitted an online request at 11:00pm and received a call back first thing in the morning and a plumber was onsite that same day to take a look. I received an immediate quote that was much less than expected. And after acceoting the quote I had a scheduled work day provided. A week later the floor was broken open, drain, trap and air vent installed, city inspection completed and my shower pan set in place. My remodel is back on schedule!

I appreciated that Thomas listened to my plans for changing the plumbing in my basement. It is part of an overall remodeling of the space. I called Plumb Right to install a new sink, new faucet and our garbage disposal that was about 2 years old. After almost 4 hours, the plumber told me he couldn't get the disposal to stop leaking I told him my husband would install it. I paid $740. After he left, I checked under the sink. There was water and small pieces of garbage under the sink. Also garbage in front of the sink. It took several bath towels to get under the sink dry.. There was a greasy substance on the inside and out side of my new cabinet doors and scratches on the bottom of the under the sink cabinet. The cabinet doors now are also a little crooked. Our sink has also been leaking since Friday when he he was here. We feel the plumber did not know what he was doing. We feel we were ripped off. He wasn't able to install the garbage disposal and our sink is leaking. We won't call Plumb Right again.

Erik and Thomas were fantastic! We needed all plumbing redone in our basement for a brand new bathroom and laundry room, and also some plumbing going to the upstairs. At the initial consultation Erik took his time to educate me on the codes, the order of operations for the job (ie for plumbing, HVAC, framing, flooring), and brainstormed with me on the best layout of shower/sink/toilet/washer/dryer for the plumbing. The job required Erik and Thomas to come out several days to get everything done. They were always on time, always in good communication with us, and stayed later if they needed to get the job done. They worked very well together. At the end of each day, they made sure to walk us through and show us everything they did that day and what they plan to do the next time they came out. They were very happy to answer any and all questions we had. They were both always professional and very friendly. And our dogs liked them too! Additionally, speaking to Holly at the Plumb Right office was always a pleasure. Our contractors finishing the rest of our basement remarked on the surprisingly great price that Plumb Right quoted us for the job, which was good to hear because I had no idea what to expect. It was in a tough spot to access / diagnose, as things are set up a bit oddly in old homes. Communication has been pretty good from the person scheduling and keeping me posted about timing and whatnot to the technicians who showed up to do the work. I’m having a bathroom added upstairs in my bungalow that was built in 1925, so it’s not an easy task and they have asked for my opinions regarding placement of holes and routes, etc. I am disappointed at the cost of cutting a few holes in my unfinished sub floor-I’m doing all of the interior finishing work myself (walls, built-ins etc) and could have EASILY cut them myself and saved something like $400.

I found a puddle of water in the cabinet underneath my kitchen sink and couldn’t see where the problem was. I called Plumb Right and they provided service on the same day. The plumber noticed a small drip coming from the faucet of my water filtration system. We agreed that this might have caused the puddle under my sink. He said that he could replace the faucet if necessary but asked me to wait for a couple of days in order to make sure that this was really the problem. As agreed, I paid him a one-time fee of $49 for the service call and he told me to call him if I decided to install a new faucet. Two days later and more water under the sink, I called Plumb Right and had a new faucet installed. With my Angie’s List discount, the cost was $242. I am a very satisfied customer. I received friendly, professional and efficient service for a fair price and I won’t hesitate to contact Plumb Right again.

Once the source of the leak was found (a wax toilet ring that is probably too small) I decided to replace it myself and was not charged for the time dedicated to finding the leak. The charge for the two “projects” was $360.00. I am pleased with Plumb Right, but I’m not looking forward to replacing the toilet ring.

The metal strainer hardware of one our kitchen sink corroded away and even before then then , the pvc pipes were leaking at the multiple joints. Thomas analyzes the existing setup and provided the fix price quote - a feature I like. He not only replaced both strainers but also simplified the pvc and dishwasher connections. Called, and they said they would be out in a couple hours and have me fixed up right away no matter what the problem. They were there sooner than I thought they would be. Diagnosed the problem, did the repair, and finished up about an hour after they arrived. The tech was friendly and courteous and completely knowledgeable on what needed to be done. Best of all, the price came in a lot less than I thought it would be, and I can't complain about that. They will be my plumber of choice from now on.

Helpful and courteous, he answered all of my questions, including general questions about part replacement and codes. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again if I have need. However, I do recommend taking a second and price checking any expensive parts that they quote. During the replacement my water pressure reducing valve (at the supply line where our city water comes into our basement) which had already been leaking suddenly broke and the leak began spraying out water rapidly. When I asked how much it was to replace this regulator, I was quoted 800 dollars for the part itself, and an additional 300 dollars if it required an expansion tank to be added onto the new water heater. I took a minute to look at prices online and found new regulators at home depot/Lowe's for 60-80 dollars. This is not any fault of Plumb Right, as I'm sure they buy directly from a different manufacturer and there is probably a good reason why that model is so expensive (I actually saw the part and its price on the iPad so I know he wasn't just coming up with a higher price)...however, if you are at all handy i would consider double checking the price of a common part like this and installing it yourself if you would like. I saved about 700 dollars this way, which was well worth the 2 hours it took to replace. It also had a thermal expansion protection, so the extra expansion tank was not needed (our previous water heater didnt have one anyway). Overall, it was a pleasant experience, very well received and I am happy that they were able to replace and install the new water heater in just a couple hours. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I would recommend double checking prices before signing on for anything, which a wary customer should do anyway.

As an exacting engineer by profession, I am very finicky about the work that takes place on my home. That said, I was especially pleased with the service I received from DJ at Plumb Right this week. DJ was very friendly and really good at answering all my detailed questions about the cause and the work and the materials used and preventing any future problems. He even answered all my questions questions about valve types, vents, the water heater, and the water softener. Although I couldn't get a pricing estimate over the phone, it was great to see their preprinted "Straightforward Pricing" sheet as soon as DJ arrived. So I knew the estimate was not at all based on anything about me as a customer but only based on the kind of service actually required. The immediate symptom was a pinhole leak just downstream of the shutoff valve after the water meter. Since the spray was getting my wall all wet, I shut off that valve and started draining my pipes into the wash tub. Then I used Google to look for a plumber who could come over right away. Other companies were charging emergency fees 3-4 times higher than Plumb Right's of $49. DJ arrived within the hour. He quickly found that the main shutoff valve upstream of the meter was seized open. This was not surprising as this gate valve is 37 years old, and I'm sure the previous owner neglected to exercise the valve once a year to keep it in working order. So, the next step was to shut off the water at the curb - which would require the city to come out and turn a buried valve. This would mean a 2 day wait, but DJ was able to put on a clamp that sealed the leak perfectly, allowing us to use our water until then. DJ scheduled the service with the city and even arranged for a free, new water meter since he noticed the original was nearing need of replacement. Today was the day, and DJ was here ready and waiting well in advance of the scheduled time. He said that was easiest to do with a morning appointment. Once the city shut off the curb stop, he was able to replace the old valves, bad section of pipe, and the new water meter quickly. He did a great job reaming the new pipe inside edges prior to installing, which is very important to prevent this kind of problem in the future because it creates turbulence in the pipe. When finished, the cleanup of the work and the entire area was very thorough. So, I am happy to recommend Plumb Right and plan to call them first for my future plumbing needs.

There was water leaking near our meter, I called Plumb right and told them about the issue I was having. They understood exactly what I was talking about and already had a good idea of what was causing it and how to fix it. DJ came to our house to help us with the problem, and he was great!
