Excellent customer service and great work Matt!!! Thanks for the fast and friendly service. My water heater went out and they were here in less than 4 hours to repair it! Matt explained everything and gave me great recommendations. Took care while moving old and new equipment into my home. Looked at the work afterwards and all showed great workmanship. He even took the time to prepare another quote for me on something else I was looking at eventually replacing in my home. I will remember to use Champion again going forward. Thanks again and look forward to having hot water again!

Simon and Mitchell were both very professional and punctual! As they assessed our ancient hot water heater they took the time to explain what they were finding, what needed replacing or upgrading and why? In the end, we have a new hot water heater and a detailed explanation of the service they provided. They replaced the water heater and brought parts up to code in a matter of hours. We had been working with a different company previously for weeks prior to making contact with Champion trying to accomplish what they did in a matter of hours. They were also respectful of out home, putting down floor protectors and leaving by the area clean and tidy. We are very pleased and grateful to finally have hot water again!

I am so impressed with the service we received from Champion Plumbing. We ran into some issues with plumbing not being up to code which put a delay on install. Yet due to Champion Plumpings excellent customer service they worked with the inspector and were able to install today. Logan installed the hot water heater for me and was so pleasant to work with. Very knowledgeable and walked me through everything I need to know about the heater. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I asked him for a quote on installing a water softener as well, but explained that I would like him to do the install. The best part about this install was that it was almost $3k cheaper then my first quote from one of their competitors. Thank you for your awesome service Champion Plumbing!

Marcus, our installation expert seemed to do a great job installing our new water heater, which I purchased from Home Depot. Marcus was courteous and careful not to get our carpet dirty. He did his work in a timely manner and was a pleasure to deal with. My only complaint from my experience concerns the billing from Champion. Although the price I paid was the amount I agreed upon prior to the installation. I was very curious what the breakdown of parts and labor was. But the bill I received via email from Champion was essentially just the final amount paid. I was happy with the work, but a more detailed bill would have been appreciated.

The team from Champion Plumbing just finished installing a new water heater in my townhouse and did an excellent job! I look for several things when hiring professional services but the most important are promptness, performance, and courtesy. Kert and Tanner were right there when they said they would be, were prepared for the job, and fully answered all my questions about the install. They worked quickly to extract the old unit and expertly installed the new one in less time than I expected especially given the tight quarters. They were so helpful I decided to get a bid for another plumbing job I have been putting off, but may do in the near future. READ BEFORE SCHEDULING: First, I’m not paid for reviews, and I hadn’t heard of Champion Plumbing before a google search today. I discovered my 20-year-old water heater leaked by 8:00am. By 9:00am, I’m on the phone with Kayla at Champion Plumbing describing my issue and she provides me a price estimate without me even asking. She quotes me a same-day, 12:00pm-4:00pm time slot, with an opportunity for an 11:00am visit if they have time in the schedule. I agree. I get a text + call at 11:05am advising Matt is on the way and 5-minutes later, Matt has arrived and conducts a brief and thorough inspection. I ask Matt every direct, uncomfortable question I can think of about the company, competition, pricing, and experience. Matt provides me direct and honest answers, including the exact price Kayla provided over the phone. Before I shake Matt’s hand to give him my business, Matt’s colleague Nick has already pulled up in a second truck that has my new water heater in it. By 12:45pm, My new water heater was installed and ready to go. I really appreciate the priority attention, fair pricing, and quality service!

We had Tanner and his apprentice (I'm sorry, I forgot his name) out first to give us a quote on a new water heater and then to install said water heater. Tanner patiently listened to and answered all of our questions on various types of water heaters, softeners, water treatment devices, etc. and helped us find a solution that would work best for our family. We felt zero sales pressure and really appreciated the time Tanner took to explain each option, the pros/cons, work involved, and cost. Installation of the new water heater was quick, issue free, and pricing was reasonable. We hope to have Tanner out again next time we have a plumbing need.

I had a leak in the water line leading to my water heater. It was not done correctly originally. So I called Champion Plumbing and they said they could get somebody out. I needed to be off work to do this and they accompanied me. So everything was great so far. Plumber came out today and did a very professional job. Looks nice. Done correctly. Before doing the work he gave me a price and I thought....well this must be harder than I thought. I had to have it done and done correctly. So he replaced my water line and changed 2 valves. All copper. In all, the parts couldn't have costed more than 70 bucks(that is being VERY generous). About 2 feet of copper tubing and 2 shut off valves. This was a probably about a 40 minute job (give or take 5 minutes). The reason only 3 stars is because they are VERY expensive. I watched on my cameras outside when he got there to when he left. Right about an hour(give or take 5 minutes). These people basically charged 400 bucks an hour for labor. I know plumbers deserve to be paid for their hard earned trade but to me......this was incredible. Hopefully I find the copper tube that was replaced but when I looked it wasn't there. The job was done great and professional. Just very disappointed in the money I had to pay them.

Logan and Aidan were great. They were able to be at our home within two hours with the new water heater. They followed a check list for safety concerns. They installed the water heater and tested things such as gas line leaks. They removed the old water heater and left our home very clean. They showed me features of our new water heater. Had a corroded water valve to the ice maker water line that needed to be replaced so that Centerpoint Energy Service Plus could install a part to complete the replacement of my ice maker. Plumber Sebastian of Champion Plumbing was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable, clearly explained the details of the job, answered every question I had, and was very efficient and professional in the work. Sebastian did a did a fantastic job on the replacement of the piping and water valve, truly a beautiful work of art! Logan came by to install a power vent water heater that we had purchased. However, he was correctly able to identify that we had existing vent in order to install an atmospheric water heater vs a power vent one. Prior to this we had two other plumbers come in to take a look and neither of them made this assessment. Logan and Aiden came by later in the week to install the atmospheric water heater and did so with ease. Also saved us ~$700 in the process. Would highly recommend!

And he was able to install both water heater and softener in a very reasonable amount of time; including replacing the old units. He put down cloths for the stairs and hallway. Keep the mechanical room very clean and explain in detail how to use both machines. The workmanship is impressive. I just wish Champion also does AC installs.

We had our water heater and toilet replaced. Cole and Casey arrived at our house ready to go. In our case we had the unfortunate situation that our PVC pipe also had to be replaced due to code changes with using "cellulose core" for exhaust venting. In order to get the job done Cole had to cut a small hole in the ceiling to access the pipe due to unexpected bends in the pipe. He did a good job to limit the amount of damage to the ceiling which was appreciated. The hot water installation went well and is much quieter then our previous water heater power vent fan. The team also installed a new toilet in our kids bathroom that we supplied. The toilet installation was well done and works as expected. I appreciated that Cole and Casey put tarps down to capture dirt and debris during their work. Given my experience with Champion Plumbing I would use them again for future plumbing work.

I'm not one to take time to post a review, but in this case it is well deserved. Thank you Champion Plumbing for a job well done and for Ben working so hard to fix our sewer line crack. I originally had Bonfe come to my home, they were awful. They didn't help me, were at my home for two days getting their snake cable stuck and digging up concrete to have no resolution to my plumbing issue. Champion Plumbing came in and didn't price gouge me like Bonfe. They were hardworking and were at my house to repair my sewer line in a timely manner. Overall very good experience with Champion Plumbing. Our water heater replacement job was scheduled by Home Depot and Champion Plumbing did the replacement very same day despite a very bad winter weather with ice and snow on top of it. Not having hot water during winter (especially early Feb) could be very tough in Minnesota and getting it replaced earliest was my top priority Now about the quality of work ...our installation was done by Conor who is really champion of Champion Plumbing. He is sharp, knowledgeable and very professional. He explained very clearly what is he going to do in regards to the new water heater installation and delivered as promised. Champion Plumbing came through and helped me with the replacement of a water heater that was still under warranty. The installer, Ben, was very professional and thoroughly answered all of my questions. He even laid down floor tarp all the way from the utility room in the basement, up the stairs and to the first floor to make sure that none of the very little water that was left in the tank would stain my light-color carpet. Let’s hope that the life span of this new water heater is as good as the service that I got from Champion Plumbing.

The Home Depot set me up with Champion Plumbing when I needed my water heater replaced. After having my needs assessed by a Home Depot associate, Simon at Champion Plumbing was able to make a trip to my home on the same day within a matter of hours! Simon was very professional and friendly, and was willing to answer all of my questions as he assessed my old heater and piping. Before doing the work, he confirmed the option I had chosen with the Home Depot associate, as well as informed me of additional upgrades that would need to be made to bring my system up to code requirements. Simon worked efficiently and treated my home with care by spreading cloths on the floor all the way from the door to the water heater location in the basement. After completing the install, Simon made sure to review operating procedures, as well as inform me of the warranty registration and answer any remaining questions I had. Overall, it was a great experience with Simon and Champion Plumbing!

Champion Plumbing recently installed my new water heater, and it was a great experience (if home repairs can ever be described as “great”). The folks in the office were very helpful. And the installation went swimmingly. Adam arrived on time and had my new water heater up and running in short order. He was extremely helpful and took care to explain every step of the process. My water heater finally died and I decided to go through Home Depot to buy the new one. Champion Plumbing is the contractor that was used and I had a great experience with them! Scheduling was easy, they called when on the way and showed up on time. Logan finished the project quickly and quietly (I appreciate it with a toddler in the house!) and was very respectful. Everything was explained well and paying and signing paperwork was easy. I also had them send a quote for a water softening system which they sent quickly afterward without the pushy sales tactics you would normally experience. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a project done quickly and without hassle.

Had them replace my water heater. Called them at 8:30 in the morning and they arrived at 11 same day. Tanner finished in about 2 hours. One cool thing is that Tanner realized I was working from home and he was going to be making some noise so he closed the door before pumping the unit which was appreciated. The area was clean after the job was finished even cleaning dust marks from his shoes in the hallway. Gave me pricing on softeners as well. I will be calling back to have them do that next.

Purchased Rheem water heater from Home Depot with installation by Champion. There was a slight mixup on Home Depot's (Crew 2's) end that delayed installation by a day, but then Champion was out first thing the next morning. Install took about 90 minutes, seemed pretty straightforward. No issues, everything works great, good service and cleanup. Service tech Darnell was friendly and efficient, would recommend him and Champion again.

There was a little extra work needed, some pipes needed to be cut down to make it fit and he explained why and what he would do and just took care of it. Had a great experience with Champion and the Home Depot water heater installation team. Our unit broke on Sunday and Logan was able to come out the following day. We had a leak in our hot water handle in the shower, that was leaking water into our basement. I first called a local plumber in my city, who said he wouldn’t be able to help me. What? I then called Genz Ryan, who was booked solid for three weeks. Finally I looked on Google, for a plumber with the best reviews. I called Champion and they were willing to come out the same day! I had to work though, so we scheduled it for the following day. I received a text message saying that Nick was on his way(in the expected time slot). It was a tough job, as the handle was original to the house and even though he tried everything he could to remove it, it wasn’t coming off. He ended up having to cut it off and some of the surrounding tiles had to be removed, so we ended up with an “updated” central handle. Now with the new update to the shower, our bathroom looks “old”. So the next project will be to remodel the bathroom. In a nutshell, the receptionist was great, Nick was great and I would highly recommend Champion to anyone with plumbing issues. Very happy with their timely service and work that they performed. Great experience, great company.

Being new to the area I decided to give Champion Plumbing a try based on their reviews. Lee came out from the company to do the replacement of my garbage disposal he was on time, very professional and very knowledgeable. The only reason I did not give five stars is because of the cost to have it done. I have replaced my garbage disposal myself in the past but this time I decided to have someone else come out and do it for me. I might have to rethink that the next time. I would definitely work with them again, I would however get a price quote first from a couple of other places. My garbage disposal was an easy fix( drop it in, hook it up, plug it in and done) I was shocked by the almost $700 charge to replace it. If you do go with this company make sure you ask for LEE, he was Great!

Have had 2 Water Heater replacements from Champion in the last 3 years because I moved in between. Both times I ordered a Rheem from Home Depot and chose to have it installed by a professional. Champion was the Plumber who they provided. This time after talking with Logan I chose to go with a Bradford White because its made in USA as opposed to Rheem which has some parts sourced in Mexico. Bradford White includes some self cleaning features not offered by Rheem which is a nice added bonus. It was also slightly less expensive and has the same warranty. Logan did an excellent and professional job on the install in a timely manner. I will never hesitate to call Champion for my Plumbing needs.

We bought the water heater and scheduled the installation with Home Depot. We did not choose Champion plumbing but I was very impressed with their professionalism and the work they did. They called to schedule it when they were supposed to and the plumber arrived on time. Tou did a very good job of explaining what he would be doing, and also explained some possible venting issues and stuck valve that had to be replaced. The cost of the valve was minimal and I was given price upfront. The venting issue was taken care of with the new unit, no additional work needed. AMAZING WORK!!! Our water heater decided that it didn't feel like being a water heater anymore and elected to be a 40 gallon aluminum can instead. We have used Champion Plumbing in the past and they did great work, so we knew they would be the ones for the job. What separates Champion Plumbing from other plumbing services is that they provide the least expensive solution before moving to more expensive options. Champion called ahead to notify me that Cole would be arriving at the house within the chosen timeframe. Cole arrived punctually and attempted to fix the older water heater with 2 other options before offering a new water heater. I appreciated that he was willing to attempt fixing the older one for less before providing the necessary more expensive option of replacement. Tanner arrived with a new water heater where both him and Cole were careful to cover their shoes and protect the walls/carpet of our home during the installation. Both were respectful and pleasant throughout the entire experience. Champion Plumbing came through for us once again on very short notice. They were fair with their options and pricing. There's no reason to go with any other plumbing service. They truly are Champions in their field of expertise and I recommend them to anyone who wants honest and high quality work. I was most impressed with your technician Sebastian when he installed our water heater this Wednesday, October 13. I have never seen anyone so organized. We live in a townhouse so the furnace room is quite small. When Sebastian got here one of the things I expected was that I was going to have to take the door off so he could get the old water heater out and the new one in. Nope, he measured the opening in short order and said he could make it with an inch to spare once a door stop was removed. He then gave me a quick assessment of how long it would take. He actually finished a half hour before then what he had scheduled. I got to say I’ve had many dealings with contractors in my time, but remembering back on all of them Sebastian truly was the most gifted. Once he arrived I saw him collect all the stuff he needed at the end of his truck. It was like watching a well-orchestrated conductor tuning up his instruments. It seemed like he had a place for every tool on his person before he closed the door of his truck and walked toward my open garage. I didn’t watch him after that, but once he got started it seemed to me the only time he went back to the truck was to take the old water heater there and to bring the new one in. Couple weeks ago went into my crawl space to get my winter clothes to discover standing water. Had 2 plumbers in to be informed pipes were ok, it must be a foundation issue. Unable to get anyone out to look @ the foundation in less than 3 weeks I hired a company to pump the water out the basement. This weekend after it has been all dried out I went down to finish cleaning up & guess what we find water gushing out of a pipe. So 1st thing that morning I start dialing for plumbers & actually called Champion on the advice of another plumber who didn’t have any immediate openings. They inform me they have openings and someone will be out between 11 & 3. Imagine my surprise when Billy calls and informs me he is running EARLY! He arrives and sees the hole in the pipe. To be sure I ask him to check the other pipes to be certain there are no other issues. He did find one more leak and repairs both! I could always find a better way to spend this $ but I didn’t find the cost to be outrageous. I had difficulty even finding a plumber willing to work in the crawlspace so am quite thankful they were willing to work in that environment. Thank you Champion and Billy! Highly recommend

Stress Free! I purchased the water heater from Home Depot, and Champion did my installation. The experience was seamless. I was able to have it installed the very next day. Sebastian, the installer, arrived earlier than the stated time and was friendly and professional. I was not present during the installation, (my renter was), so explained everything in detail over the phone. From beginning to end the whole experience was stress free which I consider a huge plus when dealing with repairs and installation. Since I purchased from Home Depot with installation, I can’t speak to Champion’s specific pricing which is why I gave it a B. I know for the same water heater, one other place quoted significantly higher, and another slightly higher. This price was for a Rheem 40 gal 12 yr warranty water heater purchased from Home Depot with Champion installing. I’m very pleased with their work and would hire them again.

As an addition to the above post: The initially installed unit had a factory defect, malfunctioned after two days, and needed to be replaced. I contacted Champion Plumbing for assistance. They responded within 30 minutes and sent Alex out the same day to diagnose the issue and then replace the malfunctioning unit with a new unit. Alex was very responsive to my concerns and went above and beyond to ensure our hot water service was up and running within a half day of my problem. Alex was very professional and took all of the precautions necessary to protect our carpets and walls while transporting units into and out of the house. He was very efficient during the installation and displayed a great degree of knowledge while debugging the initial issue and then proceeding with a remedy. He left the area very clean and was easy to approach with questions along the way. Understanding the challenge was a factory issue, I would absolutely still recommend Champion Plumbing to install and stand behind any of your water heating needs.

Isaiah from Champion installed our new water heater today and did a great job. We did it through Home Depot and the process was smooth and they were able to get me in the next day, which is great when you don't have any hot water. Their phone operators were very helpful too. They suggested that I buy my own drain pan and have it on site for the installer, who then installed it for free, saving me more than $50. Isaiah also swapped out my intake valve at no charge and walked me through all the necessary maintenance steps. He was here for 2 hours and did great work. I don't know if you can choose your contractor if you use Home Depot's installation, but if you can, I would choose Champion again.

They were able to come out right away the next morning after I called which I was so thankful for as we didn’t have water for 2 days. There was a mixup with the sizing of my water heater but they were about to find what they needed on the truck. Logan did a great job, explained everything to me, and did a great job. They really save my day!!! Adam helped us for installing our 75G power vent water heater. After working with 4 contractors, who came but failed to complete the job, Adam came in 2 hours after I called him on the same day and finished the job just by himself within 2 hours. I had a water heater replaced last week and was extremely impressed with the installer (can't recall his name), the installation, price, and time it took. I was expecting a large up charge for something and was pleasantly surprised that the only additional charge was for a new gas valve and it was quite reasonable. I would highly recommend Champion Plumbing for hot water heater replacement and plan on using them again for other work. My only negative comment would be their recommendation for a water treatment system (highly controversial) in place of a water softener.

Tremendous service. I had a new water heater installed, and I went from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon. This required some adjustment in the pipes. Later in the day, I noticed the adjacent water softener was leaking. I am guessing the pipe adjustment loosened one of the fittings. Contracted Champion through Home Depot’s “Crew2” to replace our water heater which had a pretty bad leak. To begin, I am very impressed with the upfront service. The rep I spoke with was polite, knowledgeable, and asked all the correct questions to assess our needs, even gave me an estimate right there over the phone (pretty rare) which included the unit, permit, delivery, install, and haul away. I should also note that this estimate was over $1000 less than other estimates I had received. On the day of the install champion dispatch called to give me the install window, then followed up shortly after to let me know the tech was on his way. Adam showed up as scheduled, was super friendly and knowledgeable. Adam Gave us all our options and made recommendations with our best interests and budget in mind, dude knows his stuff! Install went super smooth and they were in an out in less than 3 hours. It’s a relief to have hot water again and I would 100% recommend and use Champion again in the future. I bought a Rheem water heater through Home Depot for same day installation and was told that the installer would be from Champion Plumbing. A few minutes later, I received a call from Jessy and she informed me that someone would be over between 10am and 2pm. I received another call notifying me that the technician was a short distance away. Ben, the plumber, arrived at 11am and walked me through the steps and that a new shutoff valve would be needed to meet code and that he would be sending pictures in to the city inspector for a virtual inspection after the job was done. He began work on uninstalling the old heater, while waiting for another technician to bring the new one, which arrived at 11:40am. The job was completed before 1pm. He filled out his portion of the rebate form and gave me instructions on what to send to CenterPoint Energy. I appreciate the efficiency of the process, from Home Depot to Champion, and can only hope that all professionals would operate in this manner. I wish everyone a safe and good year ahead.

I called Champion for a check-up on our water softening system and to replace a highly corroded utility tub fixture in the basement along with the washing machine valves. The technician was extremely efficient and helpful. We are new to this area and he noted that we needed to turn off the water to our outside faucets which I'm sure saved us from a flooding disaster. I'd winterized them, but not realized they could be shut off. The technician was very friendly and wore not only a mask, bust shoe covers to protect out floors. Champion Plumbing has done alot of work for me over last year or two and everything they’ve done has been excellent. Tanner specifically has been great. Very clear explanation of work that will be done, with upfront pricing that has always been very fairly priced. Quality of work has always been excellent. I purchased a Hot Water Heater through Home Depot. Home Depot could sure use some of the Customer Service quality of Champion Plumbing. I was notified first thing in the morning prior to 8 AM of my service for the day. I was first on the list which was great. The installer arrived in a timely manner and explained everything to me. On the scheduled day I was contacted by the company providing a time window for the installation as well as a follow up call when the installer was in route to my house. The installer, Sebastian, on arrival reviewed the job and explained how he would proceed with the removal and replacement. Sebastian was very professional in his approach and explanations. During the process he was very neat, tarps covering the entire pathway to prevent water leaks from the old heater getting on floors or carpets, and exhibited great attention to detail. He was professional, courteous, respectful of my home and worked diligently to complete the installation in less than 90 minutes. He welcomed me to watch him work, but I chose to work in my office instead. The new water heater is slightly larger than the old one, but Ben was able to position it so I can easily replace furnace filters. He clearly explained the water heater’s controls and set them appropriately. Ben also explained the process whereby I will be contacted by the city to arrange an inspection, and he answered all questions to my satisfaction. Scheduling the appointment was easy and convenient. We had several email exchanges where i provided photos so the technician could be as prepared as possible. Upon arrival, Tanner knew exactly what he was walking into- he quickly assessed the situation, provided the resolution (which wasn't as bad as i thought)- he went on the room and adjusted a vent pipe because he noticed it had disconnected. The trip charge was fair and if there was more work, would be credited to the overall invoice. I recommend for a fair and trustworthiness plumbing (Venting) service call! Also I should note, Champion also installed a water heater 1.5 years ago with no issues.

Tanner came out this morning and replaced some leaking valves for me under my kitchen sink. I told him I was getting a new washer later today and he checked the hose connections, which were completely stuck, so he replaced those connections as well. This saved us a lot of time and hassle since the delivery guys would not have been able to hook up our new washer with the old hoses stuck on there. This is the second time we have used Champion plumbing and they have provided great service both times.
