First, let me say I have no personal connections to Mr. Rooter Plumbing of New Hampshire in any form. I found them on Google and turned to them to fix a very complicated emergency leak--and I'm glad I did. Shawn and Mr. Rooter could not be more responsible, effective or professional. They showed up when they said they would, diagnosed the issue immediately and correctly, and provided both a short-term (to get us through the emergency) and permanent solution. Shawn would also call me multiple times during the day to keep me informed and even drove personally to pick up a part more than an hour away. He was great. While they are a bit higher cost than many other plumbers, they were well worth it. In fact, when the final job took more time than anticipated, they honored the original quote. No surprises. No feeling like I got taken. If all plumbers and contractors ran their business like Shawn and Mr. Rooter of New Hampshire does, the world would be a better place. I highly recommend them for any size job. They are my new 'go to' plumber.

My water heater broke this past Saturday morning. I woke up to an inch of water in my basement and had to turn off my water completely. Having no water with 2 small kids is not ideal! Mr. Rooter answered immediately and had a technician out to replace my water heater within a few hours. The technician, Ryan, was great. Very friendly, professional and efficient. By Saturday evening we were up and running and good to go. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter and will definitely continue to use them in the future.

We were about to get our front yard excavated because we had a previous company tell us that they tried everything and couldn’t unclog the drain, it was most likely a collapsed pipe. We were quoted $14,500 for the job. We were desperate so my husband called Mr. Router and told them our situation. The person that answered sent my call to the owner Keith. He took the time to explain that it might not be necessary to excavate the yard and we should consider them using their high pressure washer that is used to blast through obstructions in the pipe. His company came the same day unclogged my pipe and had a camera put through and saw no damage to the pipe at all. I would have wasted thousands of dollars for nothing if it wasn’t for Keith. Thank you and I highly recommend this company!

We had Mr. Rooter of Greater NH come to clean out a tub/shower drain that had filled with sand after a grandchild's visit. They were prompt, efficient and did a great job - we were very pleased. We only use the tub when our grandchildren are here so we didn't notice that the lever to close the tub drain was no longer working. I called Mr. Rooter of Greater NH back more than 30 days later to explain that it had been working before the drain clean-out, but I was just trying to use it for the first time after the drain clean-out and it didn't work. They were FANTASTIC! They sent the same technician out the same day, indicating to him a possible warranty situation - no diagnostic fee was charged. When the technician arrived, he was friendly, courteous and took care of the problem in minutes, no questions asked! There was no charge for the service. It was so wonderful to have this company stand behind their work and take of their customers with such integrity. I highly recommend them. We will keep them on our go-to list! Had multiple issues beginning in August that Mr.Rooter has fixed for me, Nick was great at finding the root cause of the issue quickly and coming up with a plan to fix it. He was very honest with me and laid out all the possible options. Once Nick started on the job he was very hardworking and persistent until the job was finished. After it was finished Nick made sure that there were no leaks and cleaned up the area he was working in. I intend to use Mr.Rooter again for future jobs.

Ryan was great! We had a clog in the main pipe leading to our septic. He was able to come out the day after I called & snake the pipe with a camera attached. He made sure to get all the clogs & was able to see the 55 year old cast iron pipe needed to be descaled from all the build up & corrosion over time. We decided to go ahead with the service in hopes of not having any more clogs in the near future. The very next day him & another employee descaled the pipe & we were able to see the difference on the video camera. Based on the 2 days he was here & the services he performed, the pricing was very fair compared to other companies. Hopefully we will not have any more clogs for a long time!

This company is great. The technician Ryan was polite and explained everything so well. I spent 700$ the week prior on Drain Masters and only cleared out the drain from toilet paper. This company cleared it again one week later and fixed the problem which was roots!! They accept cara too and can work with financing if you need it. I have to say Mr. Rooter was excellent!! I had both toilets and bath tub that over flowed. This happened at 10pm at night and I called Mr. Rooter and got a answering service they told me someone would be calling me shortly. After 5 minutes my phone rang with a very professional and informative person that I believe was the owner. He explained they couldn’t go out there that night but could come first thing. They came first thing the next morning to discover that my sewer pipe which was made of bermico had failed. Within 5 days of the incident they were coming to fix it. It took them 2 days to replace the sewer line. The quality of work was outstanding and the employee that did the work was knowledgeable, professional and did a fantastic job. I would recommend them over any other company. Well worth the money. Great job guys and thanks again!

Our hot water heater needed to be replaced. It took us too long to realize it and we had gone almost a week without hot water. Fed up, we called Mr. Rooter, who arrived to our house within an hour on a Saturday despite this not being an emergency. Our hot water heater was not in stock locally, otherwise they would have completed the replacement that same day. We opted to not pay more, and the project was completed Monday morning. Nick came out to our house both times. He was kind and patient with all of my questions and very considerate of keeping our house clean. We did not shop around and paid the price as it was extremely expensive. I know we could have gotten a better deal elsewhere, but we paid for the experience of Mr. Rooter and the speediness that the job was completed. It was worth it.

We had a sewer issue back in February. They came out same day and provided a temporary fix. They recommend additional services which we did. They also gave a quote to re-line our sewer pipe once the weather got better. That work was completed 5/6. It was a 2 day job. There were at my home at the time stated. They worked well as a team. Everything was kept neat and communication of what was happening certainly was nice. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter.

We had a major clog in our 4 inch sewer pipe in the basement. Requested service for next day via web page message and received call at 7:30 AM. We were told that a tech could be there between 12 - 5 pm. At 10 AM received call that the tech would be at house in 30 minutes. Tom arrived on time and before entering house he put booties over his work boots. Prior to work being started he explained exactly what he would be doing and told us the price. He completed job in 1.5 hours and made sure everything was working properly. He cleaned up his mess and even made sure that our bulk head was closed and locked. Tom was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant and polite. I would not hesitate to use Mr Rooter again. I also highly recommend them. Everyone from the dispatcher to the tech Tom M. was very friendly and easy to work with.

Called 10am Sunday morning and within 4 hours was called back to schedule repair. They were nice and they took my issue seriously even though it was not an "emergency". The guy whom I spoke with Keith was upfront and honest with everything needed to be done, prices and what the total bill was going to be. Also went to the lengths to explain worst case scenarios, and what they would include in extra work and price. Nothing was done or touched without my consent and when my sink didn't cooperate with him. He stopped what he was doing explained options and what the price difference would be and explained my options if I wasn't able to afford the update in price. People say these guys are expensive... But I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I would honestly pay more to have it done right and professional. The first time, then how bob from down the street who doesn't know what he's doing.

Plumber was great, an excellent professional. Support staff too. The quoted prices were very steep, though, like unrealistic steep. Example: Nearly a $1,000 for a toilet and installation. I literally bought one and installed it myself for $89. That said, they were a life-saver for a weekend plumbing [almost] emergency.

Project was in Gilford NH. Plumber was friendly and responsive. Replaced extensive amounts of old copper piping with new PEX piping. Was very good about discussing various options before starting. Went through two days trying to unclog my kitchen drain used two different drain cleaners with no results. Being a Senior I had no idea where to look for a plumber, so I turned to the internet saw Mr. rooter and made a call. The receptionist was very nice and said she would get back to me if there was a plumber in the area. Within a half hour she called and said someone would be there within an hour. Two nice young men came in examined the area and gave us a price. They were very friendly and informative. We agreed it had to be done and within an hour my sick was clear again! Fast response! I used Home Advisor to look for a plumber that services mobile homes (there seem to be few) and got a response from Mr. Rooter within 10 minutes. Not only that, there was a plumber at my door a couple of hours later, and work began a couple of hours after that. Charlie, the plumber, was professional and polite, and took the time to explain the issues and options. There were multiple tasks involved, and Charlie was able to find a solution for one that was particularly challenging. I am VERY satisfied with the end result and level of service I received from Charlie and Mr. Rooter, and I would definitely recommend them to others. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because the total cost seemed a bit high. However, given the fast response time, along with the professional level of service I received (not mention that financing was available), I am happy with the overall end result. And so, I will say it again - I would recommend Mr. Rooter for your plumbing needs, particularly if you own a mobile/manufactured home.

This review is specifically for the workers. The two men who came to my house had a great attitude and made a very bad and hard day better. They were quick and professional. In and out in under an hour they fixed a problem that messed my entire week up - I definitely recommend them. My only suggestion is that the price point is very high. Although I appreciate the good work they did I would still contact a local plumber before calling them back because in most instances it will cost 1/2 as much.

I would highly recommend Mr Rooter. I have used them for years. Starting with the cheerful person, Sandi, who answers the phone. No autobot phone maze to go through. The guys are on time and professionally dressed. This time was just a slow running toilet that I could not fix on my own. I tried. But they did the job, showed me the problem, gave me the price up front and cleaned up after themselves. In the past they replaced a water tank and an ancient main sewer drain. It's very hard to find reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable service for homeowners. When you find them....keep their name and number handy.

We have used Mr. Rooter plumbing twice since moving into our new home, and both times we had great experiences. The first was to replace a broken expansion tank for our hot water heater. The second was to replace a broken pressure relief valve. Both times they've shown up right when they said they would, were able to explain everything to me, and even gave me some recommendations on maintaining my equipment going forward. After the visit to replace the valve, they asked if I had any other questions, and I mentioned a dripping I'd been hearing in my upstairs bathroom. Though this wasn't the reason I'd called them, they were still more than happy to take a look and let me know what they thought I could be hearing. I really appreciated them doing that; they could have easily told me I needed another appointment, or charged me extra for their time, but it really seemed like they were just genuinely nice people who cared about me as a customer and wanted to help. As a new homeowner it has been hard figuring out who is being honest with me, and who is just trying to make another dollar, but I really got the feeling with Mr. Rooter that they are straight shooters who want to do right by their customers. We will definitely be calling them in the future for any plumbing needs!

While pricey, the plumber was knowledgeable and removed a clog deep in my pipes that I could not get to myself. A couple of warnings: -They charge by the job, not the time unless it takes too much time or ends up being more complicated (mine was the flat price). So keep that in mind - to clear a tub pipe blockage was $344 for about an hour - 1.5 hrs of work. -I scheduled my work about 4 days ahead for my schedule. Was supposed to arrive between 8-12. I called at about 1 pm, told they were very busy but hopefully they would still show that day. Got called around 5 pm to reschedule to the next day, which I made work. Just be careful as they really prefer the emergency calls. Would I use them again? Maybe, but i am not sure.

Top notch customer service! I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They saved me a ton of money! They came right out on a Saturday afternoon. I had an issue with the cartridge inside my shower, had to have the entire main shut off until the repair was done. They added two shut offs for my master bathroom shower and showed me how to easily replace the cartridge myself out of there own kindness to save me the hassle of having pay extra for the parts and labor. Now I can just go out Monday morning and buy the cartridge but still have access to the rest of my house while I isolate that one shower. This company is amazing!!!!!! 5 stars all the way :)

Ryan the technician who got our emergency call was amazing. He was personable, caring, hard working, attentive, knowledgeable. The cost of the repairs was huge, but due to the nature of the work we weren't able to acquire more estimates. The entire team was very good to work with, told everything up front before it was charged, and brought in an exceptional team to complete the repairs. In just 3 days they determined the cause, pulled necessary permits, got inspections completed, dug up my yard & the street, repaired the broken sewer line and put it all back together again. Ryan saw the project through from start to the last bit of placement of the asphalt. Even when Ryan needed help his co-worker Sean came off of vacation to help problem solve and try to fix the issue with a total caring attitude and not an ounce of complaint that we were bothering him on a Saturday night during his vacation. Amazing!

We had a leak in our sewage pipe and I called Mr. Rooter to come assess the issue. Their team showed up within 2 hours of my call, figured out the issue and made a detailed plan as to how to fix the issue. The next morning they came first thing, as planned, and replaced our entire piping system. Because of the detailed planning they did the day before, the team had all the equipment and material they needed to fix the problem. The workers were prompt, clean and very kind to my thousands of questions. They made a bad situation tolerable. I would highly recommend using Mr. Rooter and will be gladly using them in the future.

Needed some work done on our downstairs bathroom with a leaky pump behind the toilet. The technician Jeremy showed up and he was AMAZING! Jeremy explained the process to us completely and thoroughly so we could understand what needed to be done and what we may be an underlying issue. He pulled the pump and found a part was missing that was causing the leak. I would have never found this out on my own if I had tried a home repair. I was so glad we called in a professional and everything is working properly now. I will call Mr. Rooter anytime I need plumbing work, and would request Jeremy if he was available.

our “local” plumber completely failed us....we ended up finding home advisor which led us to Mr. Rooter. They could not have been more responsive, showing up within an hour of our call. They checked on our problem, which was the installation of a new faucet, which we had bought and tried to install. It turned out the new faucet was defective. Shane and Tom jumped into action, got us a new faucet, installed it, and were finished within a few hours. They were polite and gave us a thorough explanation of what they would do. Very satisfied, and now we have a new plumbing company!

These guys were awesome! Paul and Greg were some of the friendliest and helpful guys I have ever had work on any of homes. They came to do just an inspection for me because I was having the main pipe from my basement to my tank replaced, but they took the time to explain the entire septic system to me and advise me on how to make sure the plumbers did things right. We had an overflow in our plumbing in our basement. After several hours of cleaning we called Mr Rooter. Although it was around 7pm, they were unable to come until the next morning. This was during Covid so I understand. Shane and another gentleman came to our service and evaluated the situation and suggested a fix. They explained everything first and they got the clog out and didn’t leave until our water was flowing fine. They were very informative and helpful with correcting the issue and our basement. Both men (sorry I forgot the other gentleman’s name) were courteous and professional. Would recommend for urgent issues.

We just bought our house a couple of months ago. We noticed a growing area of wet carpet and found we had major leakage. We called several businesses and Me. Rooter was the only one that could come the same day. They checked the problem, gave us a very fair estimate and were back the next morning. These guys (Shawn and Ryan) truly earned their pay. Nick was very courteous & professional, worked very hard. So far the work seems to have been done well & I have no complaints. He even made every effort to give me discounts to apply. Cost was $$$$ I would, though, advise the employer to provide a 2nd person to at least assist in the moving of the hot water heaters in/out of basements. He never complained and put his all into the moving of those heavy monsters. Just a thought from one who has back issues.

Had a clogged kitchen sink at 1pm on Thanksgiving Eve. My local Mr Rooter rep was extremely sympathetic, responsive, and did the impossible by getting a technician out to my house within an hour. 3o minutes from the time he walked in the door, by sink was draining properly, and preparaations for the holiday feast were back underway. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We are repeat customers, and this is why. Mr. Rooter has never let us down.

I called this morning with a tub spout leaking problem. They gave me a window of 1 to 5, and I got the call from Shaun that he was on his way just after one. He checked the area and gave me two options...repair or replace. Given the repair would be on a 20 year spout, we opted to replace. They had all the parts available and he, along with Ryan, replaced the entire shower mechanism (head, on/off, and spout). They were very professional, friendly, informative, and neat. This past Sat. my sewer pipe backed up . I called and a technician was there within a few hours. Nick was the best. After trying to clear the pipe for almost an hour, he figured the problem was coming from the town. This was lucky for us because the pipe had not yet collapsed and the sleeve option was less than half the price of digging up our yard and having a new line installed.
