If anyone is contemplating a remodel, I cannot recommend Ferris plumbing & heating more highly... and I am very detail oriented. Some may say a bit picky. When you let a contractor work on your house, there is a level of trust that is needed. Matt and his crew earned that, and then some. They are honest, hard working, and truly do what is right to get the job finished with quality. From conversations with the tile guys contemplating which layout was best, to dealing with our 2 little deamon dogs, to finish carpentry being done and re-done so it looks GREAT. All of Matt's people/subs were amazing. As anyone in this group has seen, these days nothing almost ever goes to plan. With supply shortages, how hard it is to find people, etc... No matter what, Matt made sure we know what was going on, and any hiccup was addressed as soon as possible and professionally.

They upgraded us to a hybrid unit, explaining in detail the positive savings we will see annually. They showed up when they said they would and finished before we thought they could. The are insanely professional and so dam clean. The new electric and pipe line connections/extensions are sleak, just so much better than the old setup. We will not use anyone else at our home.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for fair priced, quality work with attention to detail and the added bonus of great guys. An undetected leak underneath our bathroom sink went unnoticed for too long, leading to water damage and mold. Past the point of just fixing the leak, the whole room had to be redone. I needed the kitchen sink and pipes in our 2nd bathroom checked, in addition to a noisy boiler in the basement. Matt was the quickest to respond, to schedule an estimate and to provide a quote compared to all other companies I contacted. He was prompt, quick and thorough, delivering updates and information as promised. This level of attention was consistent throughout our time working together. Within 3 weeks of starting the job, Matt and his guys transformed our stinky, old, 80’s bathroom into the one I’d spent all summer dreaming up and hoping would turn out well. The gobs of tape and strange pipe work are now beautifully redone in the kitchen and 2nd floor bathroom. The monstrous sounds of the boiler are quieter. Our visitors no longer ask us if our house is in danger of blowing up. The new bathroom on the 1st floor is my favorite place in the house. I look for any excuse to hang out in there. Matt and the companies he recommended working with (Genrose and Merrimack Stone) were kind, patient, professional and prompt. They helped me finish converting a chest into the bathroom vanity. I couldn’t be happier having chosen to work with Ferris Plumbing.

Matt communicated what he was going to, when he was going to do it, and at what cost from day one. No monkey business or shell games like many of the other local places tried to pull. Even up front, pulling a 28 year old shower, when they peel the onion, there may be underlying issues. There were and his up front approach to that took any anxiety or questioning out our minds. We’ve had our share of trades in our house over our 28 years here. Some decent. Many I wouldn’t let wash my car now. Sketchy folks. Matt and Chris were so professional, fun to listen to, and just down right great at their craft. I’d let them work in my house if I wasn’t even home. And that’s saying a lot. The tub and shower looks fantastic and will follow up with pics if I can. So if you want and don’t mind getting the run around, late arrivals, creepy tradesmen, and garbage work, don’t call Ferris. I have much more work for Matt and looking forward to it. Money WELL spent, great value and superb work.

He fixed some leaking pipes and seals around a tank very efficiently. Called about leaking water heater. Got a response back the same day and scheduled install for very next day. I was surprised by how quickly they could fit us into their schedule. Cost was about $2,000 less than quote from another plumbing company. Made sure we knew what all the costs covered and about state rebates for high efficiency water heaters. Install went really smoothly. Even laid down runners so floors wouldn’t get dirty going in and out. Planning on using same company for any and all future plumbing needs.

I needed a new water heater and I had been without hot water for 10 days. I called Joyce Heating and Cooling first and they told me they couldn't install a water heater for 1 week. So I called Ferris Plumbing and Heating and Matt scheduled me for the tankless water heater installation within 48 hrs. Matt ordered the water heater promptly and it was delivered to my home the next day. He did a great job with the water heater installation and explained to me how my water filter worked. He arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. I will be calling Ferris for further Plumbing and Heating services. I am very happy with the service Matt provided.

Matt came to my house on short notice when I discovered a water stain on my kitchen ceiling that appeared to come from the upstairs shower. I had figured that I would have to tear out the shower or at least the kitchen ceiling to get it fixed. Matt was able to fix the problem without having to tear out anything. Unfortunately our hot water tank didn’t know it was Christmas Eve when it decided to stop working and flood the basement. It made for an interesting evening and next day as we planned on hosting Christmas dinner. Discovered our water tank was leaking, and did my due diligence in contacting local plumbers. Contacted 4, left voicemails, emails, FB DMs etc. Matt replied to my DM almost instantly (late in the evening) and suggested I call him in the morning. I did, at 7 am, he answered immediately, scheduled a visit for end of same day, was up front about all replacement options, and once we selected the right option (replace with tankless system), he scheduled replacement for next day and had all equipment, parts and supplies delivered same day. Arrived the following day and replaced the system without incident. He communicated his ETAs, and stayed in contact with a level of professionalism you rarely see. Super nice guy, equally nice employees, and is not only a highly talented plumber, but knows exactly how to run a business (communication, transparency, honesty, timeliness). Of the four plumbers I contacted, one got back to me saying he no longer installed water heaters (odd), and the other two have not yet gotten back to me. That should make your decision easy. I would also add that the one negative review shown here is unfair and fully inconsistent with the nearly identical comments made by the 86 other reviewers. Sometimes the absence of bad reviews (which this reviewer attributed to "filtering") is due to someone actually being very good at what they, how they do it, resulting in a happy customer.

Performed a complete bathroom renovation including tub, shower, toilet, vanity, cabinet, mirror, and floor replacement. Walls and ceiling were repainted. Also replaced corroded cast iron sewer pipes with PVC. Replaced a gas water heater with a superstor waterheater. Everything turned out perfect.
