I had a 20 year old toilet removed and a brand new one installed. Seth and David did an amazing job! They cleaned up after themselves, they were respectful of my home, funny and I am super pleased with the work they did. Alissa was a delight to talk to while I was scheduling as well! They are not cheap, but I've had much higher quotes and I feel good with the service I got. I have a warranty on everything, they've been around for almost as long as my old toilet so I know you're not going anywhere and they're still a local company. Thank you! I love it!

I had a gas leak. I called the gas company, they came out and checked for the gas leak. They found a leak and shut my gas off accordingly. I called Hope Plumbing and they sent out a technician (Jonathon). The first thing he did was to explain what he would do to detect the leak. He was very knowledgeable and professional and made me feel that he cared about his customer. He finished the job in an acceptable amount of time. I am very satisfied with this company and would not hesitate to recommend my friends to Hope Plumbing. If I ever need a plumber again, I will certainly be calling this company. They are also very reasonable and fair on price.

Hope plumbing has been nothing but the best plumbing service we have ever had. I don’t know what they put in their office coffee but all staff members so far have been extremely helpful, caring, professional, and understanding. We have had a few major projects done on our fixer-upper home and every time they exceed excellence. Our latest fix was done by Quintin B. and were it not for him and his co worker we would’ve had a huge CO problem. Anyway, it’s safe to say we’re always betting on Hope Plumbing

Since 2016, we've used Hope Plumbing for our 1940s-era bungalow in Broad Ripple. We really appreciate the extensive experience of Hope Plumbing's technicians and the superb quality of their work. In particular, Richard V did a terrific job replumbing our entire house in Jan 2022. We knew we needed to remove the original, corroded galvanized pipe as part of our renovation. Richard walked us through our options, and we decided on Uponor PEX type A (expansion fittings). Now in Sep 2022, everything continues to work beautifully. Thank you so much! Matt arrived on time and immediately went about assessing the situation with my 20 yr old leaking water heater. After determining that a new one was required, he fully explained the options available to me (water heaters and finance plans.) Once settled, he ordered the new water heater and necessary parts. He removed the old water heater and installed the new one. He was meticulous in ensuring the new water heater and connections was as it should be. He worked non stop the entire time. Matt is a very friendly guy and I felt comfortable having him in my home. Second time using Hope Plumbing for my plumbing issues. Thoroughly satisfied with their service.

1. We had a frozen pipe that resulted in a leak. They were prompt and knowledgeable. 2. A few days later our water softener decided it was too was going to leak. We called Hope Plumbing again. They arrived promptly that afternoon. Sad to say the unit needed replaced due to age. Your tech had called in advance to get an idea of issue, so he came prepared and replaced our water softener. He even noticed another potential issue and fixed it , saving us a future call. Friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us options. Hopefully there won't be any back to back issues in the near future. 😉. But when we have plumbing issues, Hope Plumbing will always be our go to team.

Had a second floor utility sink at the school I work for backed up and not draining. Hope was very responsive and easy to work with. I had to change the date of the service and it was a quick easy phone call. Day of the service Seth, the plumber assigned to the job was on time and very helpful. Not only clearing the drain but also telling me about the type it was and how best to care for it to help prevent further issues. Seth even went so far as to consult an a completely un-related issue in another part of the building. I am very pleased with Hope and truly appreciate everything Seth did for us. We had a new well drilled recently and the hydrogen sulfide smell from our hot water had considerably increased. I called Hope for a quote on getting our water heater anode changed (our old rod was effectively gone, see photo), they sent someone out same day and he took a look and gave me a satisfactory quote. The next morning he came back and was here maybe 15 minutes, got the old anode swapped out with a new one meant for well water. I've never had such efficient service from any plumbing/electrical/well/hvac company in my life. Why can't every company work like this?

I contacted Hope Plumbing late afternoon regarding the price of installing a tankless heater. To my surprise, their plumber Mr. Anothy Kirby, arrived at my home the next morning. He is a professional who listened to my wants, provided a solution, and answered my questions. He removed my old tank water heater and installed the tankless unit within 4.5 hours. Given the small space in which he worked, I was impressed. He did a great job, and I will recommend him and Hope Plumbing.

From the initial call until the last box was taken to the truck everyone was friendly, helpful, knowledgable, professional, and courteous. John came out the day after the initial call and provided a quote that was substantially less than a quote from another company for exactly the same work and equipment. On the day of installation (the day after the estimate was signed!), Alex & Saeed (sp?) delivered the same exceptional qualities we experienced with John. They were thorough, efficient, and friendly the whole day even though this was a complicated installation. All packaging material was taken with them, and every area was cleaned and tidied. They both patiently explained how all the equipment worked and provided tips for what to watch for should anything go awry. Equally important is that everyone in our house cheerfully and compassionately followed our COVID protocols and this was MUCH appreciated. Today, Saide fixed out clogged kitchen sink. Saide went above and beyond to explain the problem, how he was going to fix the issue, and how to maintain our drains it going forward to keep them from clogging. Overall this company has great people that are professional and know what they are doing, and it is completed at a fair price.

I cannot say enough great things about Hope Plumbing. After a month of seeking solutions for my gas leak from different plumbers in Indianapolis, some told me they wouldn’t even quote the project while others wanted me to convert my whole system to electric. Richard P. from Hope Plumbing was the only one to provide me with multiple solutions that did not require me to convert my system to electric, showing a true ability to problem solve. After being without gas for a month, Richard, Willy, and Sam came on a Saturday and a holiday weekend, just one day after giving us an estimate to replace our gas line. They are clearly dedicated to their customers. They were such a hard working & personable/professional team and their work was meticulous. I've used Hope Plumbing a few times and I continue to have good experiences. Our 15 year old water heater gave up the ghost, so I gave Hope a call once again. Richard arrived promptly to diagnose the problem and get a thorough idea of my 100 year old house's... unique plumbing challenges. He was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. After taking me through the options, I decided to go with a tankless water heater with a water softener. Richard was able to start and finish the install the same day. I was working from home while he did the install, and he gave me plenty of warning when he would need to turn off the water or electric. We even had a hiccup midway through the day which resulted in a part in my toilet tank failing, but he was able to bring a replacement and fix that as well. Overall, I'm very happy with Hope and the caliber of their employees. Fingers crossed I don't need to see them again for a little while though!

Hope Plumbing answered the phone right away and the woman who scheduled our visit was very friendly. Our technician, Richard, was able to come two days earlier than expected despite it being a holiday weekend, which was fantastic. He was friendly, diagnosed the problem quickly, gave us several options to choose from, and was able to install our new water heater within a few hours at a good rate. I also appreciated the communication prior to his arrival, in which we received an expected time frame and the name and photo of our technician.

We had Richard Parkison out from Hope Plumbing recently. He came out for multiple trips to take care of plumbing issues we were having. Richard took care of a shower drain that wasn’t on center and he was able to solve the issue for us and get the shower drain installed. He also fixed some water lines that were improperly installed by another plumber, reset a toilet, installed a new water heater and well tank. He was professional and communicated well the entire time. He ensured that I was up to date the entire project and he went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of. As a retiree I felt a need to get multiple bids on replacing the 2006 hot water tank after it stopped working and emptied its water down the drain. I learned a lot about Indiana water quality and both tank and tankless systems for Indiana in the process. I chose Hope Plumbing for multiple reasons: reasonable price and availability to install on my schedule. But most importantly the amount of time that Jeremy, the technician, spent with me to make sure I understood the options. Hope Plumbing was the only one of the five companies I consulted that took the time to initiate a call to me two days later to see if I had any further questions. Plus Jeremy did a separate follow up call. The removal of the old tank and the installation of the new tank were carefully and professionally accomplished in a reasonable amount of time. I was just having my drain installed talking to my tech Seth Taylor and he asked to see my basement and when I showed him my basement he let me know that I had sewage coming up from my half installed bathroom down there and he capped the drains and set me up with an appointment to clear my sewage pipes because well that’s gross and needed to be fixed He was very nice to talk to and explained what he was doing every step of the way provided service beyond what he was there for he is great

Last night I found a water leak in our main water shut off valve. We are just two days away from leaving for a long trip and I didn't want to leave the house at risk of a major leak. Our house is older and has older piping so I have no inclination to try and fix it myself. I called Hope after 11pm and had a quick answer from their rep. They got my name and information down and said they will do their best to get someone out before we left. The next morning I got a text stating that Jacob was going to be coming. He called ahead of time which allowed me to get the area ready. He was very professional and courteous. He informed me of the various options to fix my current issue but also looking forward what they could do for our older system (complete replacement) Although I wasn't interested in the full replacement option right now he did still give me an invoice of what to expect if I choose to do it later. He fixed the main water shutoff quickly and efficiently. He was responsive to my questions and even added a shutoff valve for our outdoor faucet for we didn't have one. All-in-all it was a last minute expensive fix but their membership program did save us some money on the bottom line. He answered all my questions about the program and it's benefits and I found great value in what they offered for the membership. I feel much more confident in my home being safe now that the leak has been fixed and I know I can call them anytime if I have any issues. Thank you for a great first experience.

I had Hope Plumbing out to install a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal (I provided the new fixtures). I was pleased with the technician and the work he did, but I ran into issues with customer service. The invoice provided after I paid was not itemized or broken down in any way - it described the services and listed the fee as one lump sum. When I asked for more details about the breakdown of pricing, I was first told that they don't do itemized invoicing and asked why I wanted to know (um, because I just spent hundreds of dollars and would like to have a better understanding of the pricing). After another exchange, I was told it was flat-rate pricing based on the tasks. There were two tasks, so I theoretically should have been given individual pricing for each of those two items. I already paid the money, and I wasn't looking for a refund. I simply wanted a better understanding of the bill. I don't think it's at all unreasonable for a customer to make this kind of request - invoices are typically itemized. It's suspicious and frustrating that I was not able to get more details from customer service.

Thought I had a drain clog so I had a drain tech come out, Seth. He determined that I wasn’t having a clog issue but sadly that I had a leak instead. Seth turned the water off at the main until a different tech could come and get to the bottom of the situation. Richard arrived cut the hole in the wall and immediately saw that we had black mold growing from a leak. He turned the water back on to find the leak. It is amazing that such a small leak can cause so much damage! Richard got everything repaired/replaced in a timely manner and has passed our info on to the restoration team that they work with. My call was to remove a Safe Step tub and install an acrylic deep tub and put the shower head back in its old place on the wall. I have ceramic tile that surrounds my tub insert. There was some minor water damage at the faucet area and some of the tile was removed when I had the Safe Step tub put in which i advised i can repair myself. The guys brought a tub and asked me if it would work. It was fiberglass. (1st mistake). I asked the depth they stated 16" so I agreed (2nd mistake). Needless to say after 2 days without main bathroom. I was not happy but it was Friday and i needed a bathroom. I tried to make myself believe it would be okay. But then I noticed the toilet was leaking ( they had to remove it to put in tub). So I sent a message to Hope and advised of the leak. They called Monday morning and said they will have someone out on Tuesday. Richard showed up ( who sold the job to me). I advised I am upset and wanted to cry. I told him i don't know how I can fix what the guys damaged putting in the tub on my own. (Drywall, removal of too much tile and cutting the it short). He inspected it called his Service Manager Brian to get me some assistance. We finally agreed that they would remove the "wrong" tub and get a deeper one with a surround and install for the cost of materials and $500 in labor. I agreed. Richard came out 2 days later and started the task of removing the wrong tub which was not easy. He finally had to cut it in half as it was wedged in behind the front tiles. He stayed until 9 pm that night. Came back the next day and stayed until 10pm to make it right. He went above and beyond to make me happy. I am 100% happier than the first job!!

Hope Plumbing was great to work with. From my initial inquiry made online (after hours) I received a quick outreach to learn more about the details of my project. Everyone I spoke with in scheduling and follow up of the initial service call was friendly and professional; very easy to talk to and I sensed they cared and I was more than a sale. The technician that came out, Richard V, strengthened that impression by providing me sound recommendations and options available to me. The quotes (I received 5 or more for each scenario I was considering) and financing details were clearly communicated and delivered in a timely manner as well. If you're looking for quotes strictly on price, you won't get itemized figures which makes price shopping a bit difficult, but Hope over delivers in other areas of the customer experience that justify a premium if I did indeed end up paying a bit more for the job. For example, after the initial service charge, I found out that my tank was still under warranty, so at that point I was only looking to install a new water heater and add a water softener. Hope was more than willing to provide a quote for that, and they worked with me on the logistics of returning the damaged tank as that was a requirement to process the warranty claim. (Note, the retailer did not make this easy or clearly explain the process which added more frustration to the project). Veronica and Richard were both instrumental in eliminating that burden from my responsibility and again justified possibly paying more than I might have with another installer/vendor, but I imagine their rates are comparable. Hope also scored rave reviews in the methods of communication. Emails and texts do most of the heavy lifting and are preferred as they are less intrusive than a phone call, but they also call when they say they will or make it a priority to follow up in a timely manner. Bonus points for the reminder texts and the text providing the name AND picture of the technician scheduled to show up at the home. This wasn't a huge priority to me (a large male working from home with no real reason to feel vulnerable), but I can see where female customers or those with children in the home would feel safer with that kind of disclosure. I have no complaints with Hope Plumbing other than the limited detail of their estimates, and possibly a lack of deals or discounts (Disco Hope doesn't advertise for the Simpsons fans reading this). I would absolutely consider working with them again, and might consider entering into their annual service agreement now that I have experience working with them. That agreement seems very reasonable and eliminates trip charges and introduces more savings to those that opt in.

There was actually a minor mistake with some of the work that was performed, however, Hope Plumbing did not charge for correcting the issue, and Josh came by and rectified it--no problem. Hope Plumbing is definitely not the cheapest plumbing contracting company. However, they offer sophisticated customer support. They have a call center which tracks the status of each plumber and informs you when the plumber is on their way. An image of the plumber is sent to you so you know exactly who to expect. Their quote and billing process is also quick and painless. The call center also keeps track of who called you and when, so no matter which representative answers the phone they should be able to provide you with more information. You definitely pay a premium for their service. But for the average person who only deals with a plumber periodically, and just wants to have some peace of mind that the job will be done correctly, that the person doing it is trustworthy, and that customer support will be there for them if they need it, then the extra cost is worth it.

Our improperly installed tub broke on a Monday morning. By Thursday, Hope had it repaired (correctly) and ready to use. Seth was awesome. I was having trouble with my water drain outside - it was clogged up and was backing up into the garage, where it would take hours to completely drain. He arrived on time and was very patient as I was explaining the issue and asking questions. He was honest with me in that outdoor drains weren't his specialty, but he would make a phone call to get a second opinion, which he did. While he wasn't able to clear out the clog in the outdoor drain himself, he was able to recommend a local company to help AND provided a DIY option as well. In 2017 my basement drain started backing up so I called Hope Plumbing they sent someone right out to snake the main drain and cleared it in a matter of minutes! Well last Friday I had the same problem again I called another company but they couldn't fix the problem, so my son suggested I call Hope Plumbing again. The guy tried snaking the drain again but said something was blocking it and that he'd get another technician to come out and run a camera through the drain. When John arrived he tried to run the camera but said he really couldn't see because there was water in the drain not only that there is a new home that was just built next door to mine and he walked over asked the guys working if he could run the camera down the main drain on the outside of that house. Once he did that he saw that there was also four feet of water in their drain and thought maybe we were sharing the same sewer drain! He took pictures of both drains sent a letter to the gas/water company along with the footage and a phone call! Well turns out John was right! The next day they came out, dug up the yard next door and replaced the pipes, my drain cleared immediately! I really appreciate John going above and beyond to assist me with the problem as I had already called the gas/water company to check the outside pipes and they told me that it was the homeowner's responsibility and they were not liable for the issue! I would just like to thank John so very much as he showed the initiative to stick with me until the issue was taken care of! My son and I even offered to give him an appreciation gift card for his services, but he said he never accepts tips and he's just doing his job! This young man was an angel, very polite, personable, confident, sensitive to the needs of my older home and made me feel more than comfortable! Thanks again John stay safe!

While I never really enjoy giving Hope a call given the fact something bad (often catastrophic) is happening, they make the experience much more palatable. They stand head-and-shoulders above others we have used when it comes to customer service. We even joined the subscription service ($8 / month) and it has more than paid for itself with discounted after-hours visits and maintenance. Staff has always been courteous and professional, which is increasingly rare in similar industries (at least in my recent experience). I have even left the house briefly while a Hope employee fixed a recent issue, that's the trust I have in this organization and its people. Not always the cheapest option, but if you want it done right, you can take their work to the bank as they guarantee it.

The first tech could not unclog the kitchen drain, so a second plumber was taking over, but couldn't come until Monday. Then got a call later and the second plumber was able to come that Friday evening. Ended up we need to replace the pipes under sink and a pipe in basement. They were able to complete that evening and return Saturday morning for one quick capping of a pipe. We are happy with the work and with the plumber. The job was done quick, and clean.

Edit: Customer service was very friendly and resolved the issue in a quick call and provided a full refund. Appreciate their effort to take care of the issue promptly. Hope plumbing fixed a water leak issue we had a year and a half back. The new pipes they installed started leaking recently and so we called for them to check it out. The guy came and did sales talk about their water heating system and checked drains that were working fine for about an hour. The leak was because a good quality band was not placed initially. So he changed the band within couple minutes and charged us $140 and said if the same issue happens a little after a year (when warranty expires) we will pay a similar cost for the repair. I will never call them again due to the unethical practice and the way they made money off of us.

Not only did they do the work needed on time and at the price quoted, but they went above and beyond to explain the work, why it was important, and even took care of an incorrectly connected dishwasher water line they discovered the day of service and installed a new soap pump at no additional charge. This is my first experience as a homeowner with any sort of plumbing issue. And like most plumbing issues, it came unexpectedly. I was extremely impressed with Hope plumbing and our technician Brian. He was very helpful and made sure to explain my options to me. The project had a few unexpected issues which ultimately meant that we had to spend more money, however they did everything they could to help us out and explained what would need to be done. I felt extremely comfortable with them and the customer service they provided. Too often you hear stories of being taken advantage of or being upcharged for unnecessary things. We initially called last Wednesday for a leaking bathtub. Caleb Gluff came out Thursday for a quote. While there my boyfriend got to talking to him about our water heater and potentially adding a water softener. Caleb and Sean worked all day Friday, Monday and finished Tuesday. They installed a water softener, replaced our water heater with a new instant water heater, installed a new bathtub, fixed an outdoor water spigot, and even relocated our emergency shut off valve for the house as the one we currently had would have been hard to use in an emergency. It's funny because the furnace company was working in our house the same day Hope Plumbing was and the furnace company didn't even notice/mention the electrical wire. We have used them for a couple of services, including excavation of our sewer line. Our house is 68 years old and we were bound to have issues with a couple mature trees in our front yard. May not be the the best price service in Indy (didn't really shop around as our issues needed to be handled swiftly), they were able to answer the call and get our issues resolved quickly. They do offer options for financing which is helpful for the larger projects. Quality of service is top notch. Our last service, the technician cleaned up the area around the project even though that particular mess was not made by him.

Once we had settled on the services we wanted done, he got right in to work, and tirelessly wrestled with my century-old condo's antiquated plumbing for effectively the entire day, cutting out defective parts with hacksaw and replacing them with modern, high-quality gear. They did a wonderful job. Had a hot water heater get replaced. During its replacement my old galvanized pipes in my house were uncooperative and it turned out that my entire house really needed to get repiped. 2020 plumbing technology can't always get connected well with 1940s plumbing tech. A company with less ethics could have basically charged me anything they wanted at that point, my water was off and was not going to get turned back on anytime soon until the situation was resolved. Hope repiped my entire house by the end of the day the next day and gave me a fantastic deal on the situation. Very high levels of integrity with this company. They are prompt and do a great job.

Austin was extremely pleasant and worked to explain the issues with my sump pump. He crawled under the house and returned with pictures of the sump pit and explained the function of the old pump. Once back under he discovered a leaky, I believe he called it a discharge pipe, so he brought me more pictures and gave an estimate for replacement. I would definitely use Hope plumbing again! Although I didn’t plan this repair and it comes at a really tight time financially, it was a good experience! I liked the texts to keep me aware of the progress of my service call and when Austin would arrive. Having a picture of the tech sent gave me a sense of comfort as well.

They were upfront with me in terms of when someone could come over a weekend (I opted to wait until the weekday) and kept in contact via email and text. My only complaint is that even though I told them what I wanted done (replace shut-off valves and supply lines), they did not stock the vans with the supplies needed and Leon had to make two runs to a supply store.

I needed to have a plumber come out and reinstall faucets and drains as we replace a countertop. When the countertop was removed they damaged the supply lines. Ben, our service technician, replaced the supply lines with one that had true shutoff valves, and in short order reinstalled the faucets and drains.
