Everyone from start to finish that helped me from this business was very professional, caring, and great at their job. Melissa who I spoke to a bit on the phone was so nice every time we talked and helped delegate who would come to my house and when. Dwayne was the plumber/technician who actually came out to my house and took care of the issue. He was so amazing and professional about his job and the service he had to complete I was at ease knowing he was going to take care of the issue at hand. I just had a baby, she was only about 10 days old when Dwayne came out and did the job and he was very kind and considerate about that. I never felt uncomfortable while he was there. Melissa was also very considerate about when she would call knowing half of the time I would be asleep and she would apologize for waking me up, parents understand what it’s like with a newborn. I would highly recommend them for any future service. I was so pleased with everything my shower has worked better after his service than it has in my whole 2 years of being at my house very grateful for them. 10/10 highly recommend.

MET Plumbing and Andrew Rivera saved the day for us! Andrew came out to our house Friday night to look at a burst pipe. We hadn’t had water since morning because of it, and in sub-freezing temps in the dark he went to get the right parts, repaired the pipe and then wrapped it really well so it didn’t freeze again. DeWayne with MET Plumbing is awesome!! He was on time, very knowledgeable, patient with my questions/concerns and made the repair quick and easy! I had a kitchen hot water pipe leak in my attic which leaked into my living room and soaked most of my liv rm carpet and spread to my din rm carpet. He was the only one out of my adjuster and 2 plumbers that informed me about the manifold in my laundry room!! One quick turn of the kitchen hot water on the manifold and I could have had hot/cold water thru my whole house, except only cold in my kitchen! A whole week with no water and during Thanksgiving! Wished I would have called MET sooner! DeWayne listened to me and worked with me to get the repair done fast and within my budget. He went above and beyond! I had to get 2 toilets reinstalled. Plumber Paul Ramirez and apprentice Jonathan Hernandez did the install, and corrected some issues to ensure a quality fit. They were fast, courteous & professional. My regular plumber was out of town, so this is the 1st time I've used MET Plumbing. Pricing was higher than what my plumber would have charged, but was competitive or lower than the other three plumbing companies I contacted. I would recommend them to people looking for a quality plumber at competitive prices.

By far the best plumbing experience we’ve had. Paul Ramirez was very helpful, honest, experienced and knowledgeable. We’ve had about 4 plumbers come out before him and none of them were able to diagnose the issue. He took his time and made sure he was able to to resolve the issue and even showed us and explain everything he saw. He even found our clean out line!!!… all plumbers that had come before had convinced us we didn’t have a clean out line and some even suggested installing one for us. Paul was not only able to tell us exactly what our issues were, but he also gave us several plumbing suggestions and recommendations. He also helped clean the sewage in the bathroom before he left. Overall AMAZING service. We will definitely be using MET plumbing again!

I had an upstairs double sink that went from slow drain to no drain. I tried to run a short snake through it, but no go. I had used MET Plumbing in the past on a water heater replacement and was impressed by the workers and the and the quality of work. I called at the end of the work day and A. Rivera was at my house in Katy prompt and early the next morning. They call about a half hour before show up so you have a heads up.He was efficient and professional in explaining the procedures he would do or may need to do and the cost of each. He was also very nice to my dogs and they liked him. Because of quality of people that MET Plumbing hire, like Mr. Rivera, for plumbing needs in the future (which I hope I don't need) I would not hesitate to call on MET Plumbing.

My main a/c drain line was clogged, so water was now draining through a secondary, emergency line. I was informed that if the secondary drain became clogged, I ran the risk of water coming through my ceiling. That information motivated me to seek out a plumber immediately. Like you, I perused the reviews, and MET Plumbing has an abundance of positive comments. I also appreciated that MET Plumbing claimed to be affordable on their website. With the good reviews and assurance of affordability, I was satisfied that I had performed my due diligence. I had no trouble making an appointment, 1 day out, and on a Saturday no less. I did ask the company representative what the typical charge was for unclogging a sink and was told they had no idea. That gave me cause for concern because I certainly don't make a great deal of money as in educator in our community. However, I was in a bind. The technician, Jacob Bumgardner, called ahead and arrived right on time. Jacob was friendly, professional, and efficiently completed the task. I was very pleased with the job he performed. However, I will NEVER use this company again nor recommend them to anyone else. Why the 5 star review you ask? Mr. Bumgardner's execution of the task was 5 star worthy. The $423 I was charged to unclog a drain line that I could have repaired myself (but was unable to pull the drain hose off the pvc pipe) is outrageous and unethical. This job required no parts, and the only equipment needed was a shop vac and a bucket. However, in my desperation, I was at this company's mercy. As a teacher, I give this company an F- and a bonus vocabulary lesson. Greed- a selfish desire for more of something (such as money) than is needed.

I needed a plumber to fix a leak that had just started in my first floor ceiling. Shawn Lewis did an awesome job. He located the leak from some old pipes in the ceiling and installed new pipes. It was a pretty time consuming job, but Shawn was so thorough - I was very happy about his expertise and his happy outlook on just about everything. i have his number in my phone and I will indeed use him again, and recommend him to anyone who has some need of a fantastic plumber.

Had a really good experience with MET plumbing (have always have a really good experience with MET plumbing). The plumber that came on over was Ernesto. He was very knowledgeable about plumbing problems and was great when it came to diagnosing the source of an issue. I had a bad sewage smell in one bathroom. I was concerned it was a plumbing leak under the foundation would have been expensive to fix. He took a look at the toilet and sink and noted that the fill valve was leaking a bit and the flapper was worn and creating a small drip to the toilet. After he was done, the smell in the bathroom was gone which was an extreme relief since I didn’t want it to smell for the short notice guests which recently moved in. Also was very accepting of dogs around. I kept them away from Ernesto most of the time but once or twice one snuck out to go check him out. Always great experience with MET plumbing and always happy with their extensive plumbing knowledge.

If you are limited with income be prepared, I had a shower cartridge replacement which I didn't expect repairs to be very pricey. 😖 this was not an emergency call. Overall if you do have an emergency call Met plumbing and be prepared for the expense.

Very competent service. Had a broken flange that needed replaced and reattached to a molten lead toilet sewer pipe. I can do a lot but that was a little past my skill set. They could have communicated better about their unexpected delays, which resulted in very high Sunday rates, but the work was excellent.

Met Plumber, Johnathan Gill first came to my house to give me an estimate to have a gas line installed in my kitchen. (I already received two other plumbing companies estimates.) I called Met Plumbing the next day and excepted Johnathan estimate. The next day Johnathan and Nick took about 4 hours to complete the installation of the gas line. The final cost was a couple of hundred dollars more than the estimate. Johnathan took pictures of everything they did and explained why the completed cost was more. They needed to use more pipeline that he didn't estimate in the first quote. Still, Met Plumbing was a couple of thousand dollars less than the other two plumbing companies estimates. BIG SAVINGS! However, the water heater tank wouldn't relight after turning off the gas. I had a 50-gallon tank that was eighteen years old and just so happen it went out when the gas was turned off. Fortunately for me, Met Plumbing gave me a $100.00 senior discount and a discount for having a gas line just installed the same day. The next day Johnathan and Dorian came to install a 40-gallon tank. Johnathan assured me the estimate was the actual price of the service. Johnathan takes pictures of all his (their) services provided. All three of Met Plumbers are professionals and I recommend their services for your plumbing needs. Toni Mattox

Due to the age of our home the galvanized pipes began to pose problems. The decades of exposure to water caused the galvanized pipes to corrode and rust on the inside. Due to the restriction of the line, corrosion in our galvanized pipes caused a degree of lower water pressure, sometimes uneven distribution of water, and of late discoloration of water throughout home. During a winter freeze one of our pipes developed a small pin hole breakthrough that caused a leak which resulted in minor damage to an area in our kitchen ceiling. All that being said…it was time for a repiping of our home. We got three bids and MET was the most expensive. But, my retired military husband was most impressed with MET technician Shawn and his thorough explanation of the realities of “all things” included in repiping of a house built in the 1960’s. The technicians Shawn and Bobby worked tirelessly to meet EVERY task listed on the scope of work. Both men are consummate professionals. It was not an easy job but we are very pleased with the outcome! Kudos to you both!!!!

Talk about their slogan “ you’ll be glad we Met”!!! Absolutely we are glad and grateful!!! Technicians Don Delozier and Nick Cruz came out to install 2 new water heaters. Don took a picture of the area that is suppose to be vented out through the roof- it was black- looking as if it had been burnt! The water heaters had NEVER been vented out through the roof!!!!!! Our home could have had a fire due to this problem that was overlooked by several other technicians in the past ! We have lived in this house since 1993- we are -needless to say- extremely grateful that he was thorough and because of his professionalism we did not have a fire-our home could have been burnt down!!!! Not to mention- the loss of life! Our granddaughters come over frequently and stay with us. After losing a daughter suddenly 6 years ago- we could not have survived another loss!! To us- he’s a true hero and should be recognized in our Katy area as such!!!! Thank you Don!!!!

MET's technician Jacob was very professional and HONEST. He let us know that the sewer repair problem could be the City's problem and not ours. They did a great job at our house. We started having water in the garage and finding the leak was, by no mean, an easy task. Their plumber, Paul, came out and suggested a few tests for us to run, spending a good 30 minutes looking at it - and not charging us for it. The people answering the phone are always polite and do a good job. Generally when I've called Met I'm given an appointment for the next day, but about 50% of the time they aren't able to come out until the day after that. If there is an emergency they do try to get right out. I know this about them and it doesn't bother me. The biggest reason it doesn't bother me is they communicate. My plumber this time around was Esai (Isaias) who was good at his job and personable. He worked quickly and cleanly. It's now 5 days later and the work he did is still perfect. Met's people get 5 stars and management should give them all raises and a nice fat bonus. (This was not prompted by anything other than the excellent service I've received from every employee of Met I have had contact with.) Why 4 stars on the review? The price. To take out and replace (with a faucet that I provided, correctly sized etc) a bathroom sink faucet (handles, spout, stopper) was $498. Yeah, that is a lot. Because they didn't supply the faucet they only warranty the work. Which I'm completely ok with because otherwise I'm sure people would have them put in hardware they scavenged from the dump and then get mad at Met when it failed. If you can afford top dollar, Met is good. I'm a repeat customer. I just hope they're passing some of those $$$ along and compensating their employees well, the work they do deserves it.

Since he was here I asked for an estimate for hot water heater replacement. He quoted me a good competitive price. The company sends a picture and a bio about your service provider before they arrive. Everything it says about him is absolutely true. He is nice, respectful, down to earth, and professional. My hot water heater was replaced in under 3 hours. The female dispatcher was also very professional. She called me often to inform me of the ETA for the technicians. The technicians were very professional & took care to protect my property from any damage while removing the old leaking water heater. They also identified a water leak from a water softener that was no longer functioning. They kept me informed as to what my options were and what they were doing at all times. MET Plumbing always answers the phone; I never had to leave a message or go through an automated system. They kept me informed at all times about the schedule, even going so far as to call shortly before the visit to make sure that it would be okay for the plumbers to arrive on the dot of 1 PM, as I had indicated that I would be out until just that time. The only downside is that all of this high level service costs a pretty penny.

I noticed a brown spot on the ceiling of my first floor living room on Sunday. I called MET Plumbing on Sunday and was able to speak to a representative, who was very helpful. I explained the situation... that my condo was built in 1980 with galvanized pipes and this is a common issue. Further, I was able to wait for the repair as the leak was minor based on what I saw in the ceiling when I opened a nearby panel. Isaias Martinez arrived on Monday and did an investigation of the source. Before cutting into the ceiling, he walked the area above it upstairs and also went into the attic. Although I was confident that it was the pipes in the ceiling, he thought it best to make sure there was no indications of a leak in the attic. This was because he would have to cut into the living room ceiling and cause damage. He preferred to make sure there was no other possible sources of water before causing (additional) damage to the drywall. No other indications of a possible source, were found so he proceeded with the investigation in the living room ceiling. After cutting into the ceiling, he was able to locate a pinhole leak on the top of a (galvanized) pipe. He took a video of a very slow drip and showed it to me. He then explained the additional holes needed to be cut in the ceiling in order to access to the existing pipe and replace it. In the proposed replacement explanation, he was very informative. Since it was later in the day, he said he would get the parts in the morning and return the following day to perform the repair. He had another repair in my neighborhood already scheduled in the morning as well and would do the repair to my piping after the first repair was completed. As promised, Isaias returned the next day (Tuesday) and performed the work. Despite the work being more difficult than originally anticipated, he stayed until the job was done (around 7 P.M.). Despite being late, he waited additional time after restoring water pressure to the new pipes to ensure the new pex piping did not start leaking and no other issues occurred. I would recommend Isaias Martinez (MET Plumbing) based on my experience. Although I would have preferred to not have to pay for an unplanned plumbing repair, I thought the costs were appropriate and fair. Isaias was transparent about the costs and expectations throughout the repair.

We just moved into a new house and for weeks I kept smelling a horrible odor from the sink. I would spray bleach, turn on disposal, and even use the disposal cleaners to help get rid of it. Nothing seemed to work. Finally, before the holidays came I wanted this odor gone! I called MET Plumbing, and they quickly sent out Matt. He found a leak under my cabinet towards the back, and replaced the part to fix that issue. He also found that the previous owner had installed a water filtration system (which I knew about and used daily), but he installed the line in a way that it wasn't draining properly and had too much slack. He raised the system higher and fixed the line for it to drain correctly now. (He told me all the details, but I don't really remember.) Very professional service from the installation technicians. However, main office help is very secretive in terms of breaking down the pricing into basic components like how much was the hot water heater, how much is the installation costs etc. I have tried three times to get a straight answer to no avail. They only quote you a total number so you might be best to shop around before committing. By my calculations I have overpaid for installation by about $500 more than it should be. I could be wrong but they wont give me any details so buyer beware.

I’ve been using these guys for four years now and they have provided consistently OUTSTANDING, DEPENDABLE service. We have an older house with a variety of plumbing issues (old& leaky galvanized pipes) and have them out at least 3-4 times a year. They show and explain what the problem is, they stand by their work, they always show up when they say they will and have always dealt fairly and honorably with us. We recently had them out to fix a leak in the shower/bathtub valves and drain. After they finished, the leak re-appeared. They came back out and fixed it at no charge to us even though the leak wasn’t a plumbing issue (it was a cracked tile under the faucet). This is typical of the way they do business. We are about to do a whole house re-pipe and I wouldn’t trust the job to anyone else.
