Steve’s Plumbing is the best! We just had some fairly major work done by them, and couldn’t be happier. We’ve never met Steve, but we think he’s brilliant. Because he hires only the best, most professional, courteous, and knowledgeable people. Technicians like Ryan and Zachary, who replaced some exterior sewage pipe, and a leaky pressure regulator line for us. These guys are really, really good at what they do. They do what they say they will do, they do it at the price they tell you, and they leave the job site clean.

Steve’s Plumbing was great from the initial call to service. They had good communication and was able to send a tech out right away to scope the job. The initial tech was friendly, polite and professional. He was able to explain what needed to be done and why. He provided an estimate on the spot and schedule service before he left. Day of service received a call stating Tech were leaving the shop and would arrive in a time window depending on traffic. 2 tech arrived clean and professional with good polite communication. They were courteous enough to wear mask and shoe booties. The work was preformed and looked amazing. Techs kept me informed at each step of the way (when they would be cutting pipe, when the water has to be shut off ect). At the end of the job they walked me through what they did. Great experience would definitely recommend and us them again!

Ryan and Paul arrived within the first hour of a three-hour window. They were careful about Covid precautions, and also slipped covers over their shoes before entering. They gave me three options/estimates for replacement of ancient hot and cold supply valves under my kitchen sink so that my new, self-installed faucet could be connected. They were kind and courteous throughout the repair process, and made sure to thoroughly test the valves and thoroughly clean up debris from the job before leaving. I am impressed by their professionalism and their kindness (my husband passed nine days ago, and it has been difficult for me to get help with this problem, since he and I used to do our home repairs together). I will definitely hire them again for any future plumbing needs!

We called Steve's to schedule an AC service because our AC was no longer blowing cold air. They were able to have a tech out the next day. The tech (James) was professional, friendly, and explained to me in detail what was wrong with my system. It turned out that we needed a new system (mine was 17 years old). Another associate Carlos came, and was able to help me find a system/plan that met my needs. They were even able to schedule a installation for the very next day! James and his crew were top notch. Joshua Aranaydo was the technician dispatched to our home. He arrived a couple hours after my initial call. He was super responsive and great to work with. He went above and beyond to get our leak fixed and was able to complete the work the same day. Main office called to inform me of the time they would be here. They showed up on time and was quick to check out the problem. They just needed to confirm with the property manager to go ahead and replace the heater. The initial exchange of water heater was fairly fast. They brought sheets to cover the floor and booties for their shoes. The technicians were friendly and informative. They triple checked everything to make sure there were no leaks and water was hot. Most definitely recommend A+++

Called for estimate of a toilet installation. They sent over a technician in an hour to give me an estimate. I asked if he could also replace my washer supply line valves. He gave me an estimate and told me they could do it all right then. Because of his professionalism and explanation of things, I decided to get it done then. Pleased with their work. It saved me time from having to schedule a future date for the work to be done.

Technician was great! Hard working knowledgeable and a pleasant disposition. However I believe the price for the work preformed was overly inflated! A bill with materials and labor listed with any other applicable charges should have been provided to justify the cost. I needed the repair done asap and they were there.

Definitely more of a repair scope than anticipated - ultimately a prior plumber had left their camera and cable in the sewer main line... no bueno. Fortunately Mike was able to determine the issue and get everything resolved.

Ryan at Steve's Plumbing is a true professional in every sense of the word. He walked us through the entire process of installation of our electric water heater including its maintenance. He was patient and very thorough. We certainly learned a lot. Jeremy worked very hard to fix a broken pipe behind our toilets and install a couple of shutoff valves. He was very diligent and professional. I’m happy with the overall quality of the work. However, beware the pricing. They are not cheap! I actually hired them to install a new washer outlet box which is a $35 item from Home Depot. They wanted to charge over $1,800 so I declined the work for that.

Didn’t have the specific part needed to complete my job but he left to pick up the part and returned within the half hour. It started with a bathtub drain that would not keep the water in the tub for the grandchildren to take a tub bath. Mike fixed that in a few seconds, then asked if I wanted him to provide a free inspection of the rest of my faucets and plumbing connections. He thoroughly checked connections in the kitchen and in each bathroom, pointing out possible problems for my aging plumbing. He heard the water running outside and found a hose constantly running water in the grass when its faucet was supposedly shut tightly. (This probably accounts for my higher than anyone else’s water bill.). He found a leak in the connection to my washing machine, requiring the replacement of the entire outside sink plumbing, which had been installed with less than top notch hoses. With aging plumbing, many breaks in water flow and pressure are possible in my district, evidenced by the frequent water main breaks disrupting traffic. When proper pressure was restored to my hallway toilet, its plumbing fixture needed to be replaced. Mike’s keen eye for potential problems, all of which I chose to have fixed, has reassured me that I can have peace of mind now. Prevention is truly cleaner and cheaper than having to fix later.

Sam was friendly and efficient. He and a coworker repaired a leak outside. He gave me a range of solutions with different price points. He did the work fast, and left the area so that it looks almost like he was never there. The photo is the area where he had to dig. Well done.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of the 2 young men who came. They were informative and very polite. They were on time & efficient. The cost was a little off-putting but we needed to have the repairs done. Hopefully the problem is resolved. We now have a plumbing service that we can call on if future issues arise.

Toilet was leaking from the base. Figured it was the wax ring but because of past nightmares with DIY repairs, I contacted a professional so that I could minimize any headaches. My review is separated into two parts: scheduling and service. SCHEDULING - I contacted Steve’s Plumbing and they were able to schedule service for the same day. Unfortunately, they had to reschedule because the appointment prior to mine took longer than expected. I was a little upset because I took time off from work for nothing. But they were able to schedule for the following day. SERVICE - Landry Sua was the plumber that performed the toilet repair. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He even gave me advice about unclogging my toilet (auger vs plunger). He showed me what caused the leak, provided options for the repairs, and recommended what he felt would be the best option.

If I can give 1,000/10 stars, I would!!!!!! Our A/C broke down yesterday and we were in a rush to get it fixed ASAP. We scheduled a trouble call with another A/C company (who actually installed our A/C in our new home) that did not help at all and so as a last resort, we called Steves Plumbing. BEST DECISION EVER!!! From my initial phone call with Ipo who was so sweet & was able to squeeze me in the same day, to our AMAZINGGGGG & HARDWORKING technician, James M. James went up and beyond. He stayed for 3+ hours to diagnose and fix our A/C. Every step of the way, he explained what he was doing, offered advice whenever he could, did extra things to make our A/C better (that he didn't even need to do) and so much more. I honestly thought we would be stuck without an A/C and sweating for weeks (based on what another company told me) but James came and got it fixed in 3 hours. 3 HOURS!!! My family and I are so grateful to him that we don't have to spend another night without A/C and that he genuinely wanted to fix our A/C. He made it his mission and he completed it! I can go on and on saying so much wonderful things about our experience but I think there's a word count cap on reviews - LOL! I plan on switching our A/C maintenance service to Steves Plumbing just because of James. James deserves a vacation, pay raise, and more - he is a HUGE asset to your company. I am claiming James as our official A/C technician moving forward. He's not allowed to leave Oahu. LOL!! Thank you again James!! Looking forward to our next maintenance with you. :) P.S.: The price was SUPER reasonable. For the work James did, it was totally worth every single penny.

Good quality, the price kept going up. It's probably close to accurate due to the condition of the pipes, but $$ is $$! THEY SHOW UP. I appreciate this so much after getting let down by competitors. Excellent work, above and beyond, I did not ask for new fixtures, and they threw them in and it is a total difference. I have been without a hot shower in four years - this was pure magic Anthony really went the distance because the pipes are 90 years old - there was some sketchy electrical and questionable piping (perhaps made of old tupper ware, hay, and barbed wire. Also Scotch Tape, nails?) that he fixed and upgraded. I'm so impressed. Would recommend, would use again. Hey, you guys do pools? :)

Because the bathroom renovation took place in an older condominium, major updating to the existing pipes were necessary and space restrictions made the tub install quite challenging at times. However, they were thorough, and took the time to explain each process, making sure I was well informed of my choices in the renovation. Overall I’m extremely impressed with their service, and I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

Clogged pipes after the in-laws enjoyed Thanksgiving at our house. First Alex then Logan to my house within an hour or so of my call. A few hundred dollars and an hour later the problem was solved. Abraham was really amazing! He was very professional and very thorough when explaining the various issues with our older plumbing system. He took us step by step through the process of descaling our pipes and encouraged us to see the process. He also did this with declogging the kitchen sink. Aloha, Zack was very competent, just listening to description of problems, he checked it all out and very quickly determined the problems, most of which were due to incompetent plumbing techs employed during original construction of home (now a year old). Zack had to order special adapters, and within a week's time got them and fixed my shower problem. In the kitchen, he checked and determined the problem was initial installers' overtightening the connecting hoses, causing hose kinks which restricted the cold water flow. In the laundry tray, he found the leak in the drain was due to incorrect connection of drain pipe (missing gasket) which was causing major leaks under the counter. He quickly fixed the leak, all work done within 30-45 minutes. He was understanding, patient, and very easy to talk with to describe our problems. Cost was a little on the high side but, all things considered, worth the expense, especially in these days of dollar devalution ($100 is the new $20)!!?? Our shower leaked and the Moen cartridge needed to be changed. The technician did a good job and was finished in less than an hour. I believe the part costs less than $30 and they had it on their truck so they did not have to go to the hardware store. I feel the company's charge of $398 plus tax is excessive. If I chose not to use them I would have to pay $59.99. I knew what the problem was and asked for an estimate over the phone but was told the technician has to come over to tell me the cost and I would have to pay at least $59.99.

I rate this team 5 stars and had an overall pleasant experience with Steve's Plumbing. I was able to schedule a Steve's Plumbing Services appointment around 3 in the afternoon with no problem. They would have come out within a few hours but it wasn't an emergency so I had them come out the next morning at 8 a.m. Maka and Joel were right on time. My project was more than a repair or replacement. I had them install a Moen Flo shutoff valve and that required the removal of an old backflow valve and re-route the pipes a bit. I also needed them to provide a hose bib and connect to existing piping for my sprinklers. I was given the option of having the fittings soldered or made with the ProPress fittings. I opted for the ProPress fittings. Maka mentioned that if he was to replumb his home he would use the ProPress fittings so that sealed my decision to go that way. The piping was a bit complicated but they knocked it out pretty quick and it is very professional looking. Absolutely no leaks. Great job guys!

I went with option 2, it wasn’t a whole house cleaning, but it wasn’t isolated to one area either and as a home owner it gave me confidence with a visual inspection of all the main lines out of the house. This is the best experience with a plumber that I ever had. We had renovations done, but by the time our contactor left our appliances hadn't arrived because of supply chain issues and I didn't care for the plumber he used because he hardly ever showed up when he was supposed to. We had a leak in a drainage pipe located in a wall. We called multiple plumbers for quotes and we decided on Steve’s Plumbing service. Their plan of action addressed our concerns regarding the surroundings of the repair. The day after the quote Maka our plumber showed up around 9am and was done by 4pm. His work is best described as surgical, clean, and neat. He was able to chip away at the foundation with minimal intrusion and repair our leaky pipe. He did this while working in a storage closet to access the pipe versus going through our garage which had custom cabinetry and finished floors. The building we live on is an old building and have problems with the hot and cold water, so he has to come back to fix the bathtub faucet again. Also, the kitchen water pipes are switched (cold left, hot right). I noticed the cold and hot water were in the wrong side after he left. He came back the next day early in the morning to change the hoses. He was working with the manager in order to have the job done in the bathtub because there is a problem in the building when they have to shot off the water. I had what appeared to be a whole house clog but wasn’t quite fully clogged. I went with option 2, it wasn’t a whole house cleaning, but it wasn’t isolated to one area either and as a home owner it gave me confidence with a visual inspection of all the main lines out of the house. Recently moved into my house and discovered a number of minor issues that I wanted to take care of. Aaron and a co-worker from Steve’s Plumbing came out and also found that the main shut-off valve was frozen and pressure regulator needed replacing. Old valve was in ground near meter/street, plumbers installed new valve in riser near regulator where it should be. Also replaced kitchen faucet, repaired another faucet and shower valve, and replaced my two leaking hose bibs. They were very professional, performed work very well, and were reasonably priced. We could not believe it, we paid the service fee and said absolutely not. Then, later that week, we received an email with a $3,000 quote for the services. Again, not happening. While I was impressed with their professionalism I cannot recommend them because amount they were going to charge us for the service was ridiculous.

I will never call them again. 1st they wanted to charge a non-refundable dispatch fee of $79 just to get a quote they would not give over the phone. They waived that due to I refused to pay it. They did show up on time and their quote was so high I will use someone else that can do it for $163 less than their quote of $428 + tax to replace a toilet wax seal. TOO expensive and my normal plumber can do it 3 days from now for $265 with no dispatch fee.

He Was very professional, however the problem isn't fixed, and now there is a crack in the toilet and it needs to be replaced. He will try to find the same model and color and get back to me. He did order the proper toilet and installed it and all looks good. I would be happy to use Desmond again.

The bathroom sink was clogged and then water started coming up from the drain. I called and someone was able to come the same day. The technicians were backed up and wasn't able to come during the time quoted. I got a call right after the time passed to notify me of the delay, and that a technician would be coming. Since they didn't make the time frame they initially gave me, they waived the dispatch fee. The technician who came, Alex, was very friendly and worked quickly.

We had three other well known Oahu Plumbing companies come to look at our water backup problem and all they did was give my parents the runaround and ask for money while just going through the motions… Greg and his apprentice came and showed me the problem… (they actually found two!) Roots! Big ones in our pipe causing the blockage! There is no way roots that big could be missed! Our downstairs unit shower was backing up and I tried to everything I could think of , but nothing worked. So I remember seeing Steve's plumbing at my neighbors house and throughout our neighborhood. So I gave them a call but, the main office was closed and there website was a option to chat with someone so went that route, finally after a few questions I got there other number to talk to a live person. After discussing the problem and agreed to their dispatch fee. They sent out a technician to my home. Zach was was helpful and gave me a estimate to do the work. About a hour later shower was unclogged and working fine. You won't believe what came out of the drain at the ending the drain cleaner (snake). Let's just saw "PINK". I forgot to mention they had a coupon too. Thanks Zach and Steve's Plumbing Service.
